Obama’s New ‘Truth Minister’ Husband of ‘General Betrayus’ MoveOn.Orger

Obama’s grandiose name for this new office is the Progressive Media & Online Response department. Also named was its new director, Jesse Lee. Lee, it turns out, has an interesting connection to one of the most outrageous anti-American, anti-military media efforts in recent memory.
Jesse Lee, you see, is married to Nita Chaudhary, one of the people responsible for the 2007 MoveOn.org newspaper ad that maligned General David Petraeus as “General Betray Us.”
That’s right, the guy that President Obama has chosen to “correct” the Internet and media and to relay the president’s “truth” is connected to one of the most anti-American, anti-military, left-wing activist groups in America. Lee and his wife are typical, hardcore, leftist extremists yet now they are in the People’s House with Lee responsible to “correct” the people themselves when they dare to question The One.
As David Steinberg notes, “Lee’s relationship with Chaudhary was not a negative for his White House career.” On the contrary, the man married to the woman that helped head an attack on the very general Obama himself has given greater duties has found her baleful influence to have either helped him reach a position inside the White House, or at the very least been a non-factor.
Shouldn’t it have been a factor, though? Shouldn’t Obama have shied away from hiring a man for his ministry of truth who is cozy with someone who stands against the very country he leads? One would think that being married to someone who belongs to one of the leading anti-American activist groups in the country would be a draw back. Apparently, Obama sees it as a plus. And need we be reminded that Moveon.org is funded by George Soros? Now we have a guy who can be directly influenced by George Soros in a new position right in the White House.

Sure, why not? I think it's already well established that the absurdity of this administration knows no bounds. So what the heck, have a Move-on'er as his minister of truth.
On the other hand, with any luck whatsoever, the buffoon will do his "job" in a way that will only further alienate Obummer from the normal people. And if the move-on'ers have proven anything, it's that they can alienate just about any one who is not of the uber-liberal mindset.
Nothing is as shocking as Obama's support of abortion, in particular, Planned Parenthood. An organization founded for the purpose of eradicating poor and black and immigrant people through birth control and direct murder (abortion).
Why doesn't he just call it "State run media", instead of "Progressive Media". If you heard story about Sheriff Dupnik, and his swat force killing Iraq vet, I would expect Dupnik to be invited to White House for some awards.
Opressing free speach is small french fries compared to depriving individuals of life – which he does through his support of abortion.

Doing this sort of thing is pointless. O'Bama already controls the so called "mainstream" media. The only places he's ever questioned are Fox News, talk radio and the Internet. He isn't going to be able to do anything about that short of taking Hugo Chavez like action (which I wouldn't be surprised by).

I don't know, but doesn't "minister of truth" and the Obama Administrtion sound a bit like an oxymoron? Kind of like "secure" and "borders" or "debt" and "fiscal wellness" or wait, how about "compassion" and "liberal?"

This is just frightening. This isn't just an office that will 'correctly' portray Obama's position, but will 'correct' other posts and articles out there, or deleting them altogether? Will we find sites like this, or Heritage Foundation, American Thinker etc, will be either unavailable or modified before they are available to the public? Or our blog posts 'moderated' and never show up? Are we going to have to go underground to voice opposition? I know this sounds almost conspiratorial, but with this bunch I think we've learned to take nothing for granted.

Geore Orwell's 1984 has arrived and is well in this country. The Ministry of Truth will be responsible for taking the truth and twisting, I mean, correcting it to favor the administration's position.
As an example, the First Amendment calls for freedom of speech and press. The Ministry of Truth would say patriotic speech is always allowed. Hate speech infringes on one's right to happiness. Those in the government, to do what is correct for the common good, must never be subject to hate speech. It would affect their performance.
