The police at all Fl universities are actually state police with more jurisdiction than sheriffs, ie. state police have state-wide arrest powers. This story just represents how far the inroads have been made by the socialist/communist cabal into our schools. FAU was a nice conservative, commuter school when I attended in the 70s. I am in touch with the administration about this and if I don't receive a satisfactory explanation, I am personally paying a visit to the Higher Education Committees in the legislature. That will put the fear of God in them.

I would imagine that college administrators would take notice if attendance roles took a drop when good parents start to pull the plug on funding mediocrity and radicalism on campus…

So get off your butt conservatives out there – CONTRIBUTE to conservative causes, WRITE to everyone, TALK to your friends, family and neighbors and tell them the danger we are in, PARTICIPATE in conservative/tea party events, even in if it means travel, STAND UP to those who espouse liberal ideas especially in education, and finally AVOID?BOYCOTT mainstream media. Get with it – blogging ain't enough!

Anyone who does not reserve a room would be asked to leave, and if you put up a fight I am sure they would ask the campus police to assist in removing you. This is completely a non-story full of one-sided BS. I am ashamed that my alma mater is being attacked for following basic policies. There are plenty of locations around campus where people can congregate and there are simple forms to fill out to reserve a room.
