Recent guest Stanley Kurtz decided to do what the press failed to do – take an honest look at Obama’s politics. His investigation resulted in Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism. In this episode, Kurtz discusses the many socialist influences in Obama’s life, from his college years to his time as a community organizer, with men such as Bill Ayers, Frank Marshal Davis, and Jeremiah Wright.

You want proof that Obama is a socialist, look no further to the New York Stock Exchange. Why, just a little less than two years ago it was in the mid-6,000's. Today it is nearly double. Oh, I forgot. The stock exchange would fall if investors felt their investments were in danger, instead it has gone up. My bad. I have a better idea. Go read Warren Buffett's, 2011 letter to his shareholders. Buffett is very optimistic regarding our economic future. You might learn something beneficial.

I wonder if Kurtz, in his book, got into Obama having to give up his law license, along with Michelle having to give up hers. Obama has lied by omission to the American people since the '08 camnpaign, most likely before that, about being a 'Harvard-trained lawyer', as he is not a lawyer because he cannot retain clients nor represent them in court. Of course, the question is why did this happen? More Obama History to bury in Yucca Mountain (with Dingy Harry's permission).

Radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt is a Constitutional scholar who teaches at Chapman U. Law School, graduated Harvard U. and the U. of Michigan Law School. He said that he thinks Obama is a dope and wonders how he ever graduated law school. Apparently, he has contacts at Columbia U. and said that there was no admittance application for BO at Columbia.
Makes one wonder if BO actually went to Columbia as foreign student Barry Soetoro. Also, there are 2 schools at Columbia: the prestigious Columbia College (where 400 pre-law students, a law professor and the class valedictorian had been interviewed and none remembered BO); and the less prestigious Columbia School of General Studies, where BS (apt) likely went if he attended Columbia at all, or just hung around with those who did.

I suspect he surrendered his license to practice law before it could be suspended because it was discovered that he lied on his application. I think he denied having used another name–be it Barry Soetoro or Barack Obama–or it had something to do with his citizenship. Regarding Michelle, she, too, surrendered her license so there must have been something she didn't want anyone to know. If you go through years of study to graduate with a Law degree and then pass the Bar, why would you voluntarily give up all of your hard work unless you didn't have a choice?

About time! Thanks, this adds some more. Most of us have already done our homework and know who Obama is. The MSM has been totally AWOL on the subject and won't touch it — because they agree with him, protect him and cover for him at all costs.

Jude Wanniski, if he were still alive, would point to the fact that the price of gold has risen tremendously in the past several years, which in itself dilutes the "real" price / value of the DJIA.
He used to say that in when the Dow was at 1000, back in 1966, the price of gold was $35 an ounce, so the Dow average was worth 28 ounces of gold. Today with a 12000 Dow but a $1200+ gold price, the Dow is worth 10 ounces of gold (or less).
In other words, the US economy is much less efficient in turning its intellectual and financial and 'natural' (trees, rocks, minerals, etc) resources into usable products.

Now, please don't laugh, but as the movie Goldfinger clearly demonstrated, this price was artificially low. This is why Goldfinger was smuggling gold to the Far East and selling it for a profit. That's just the business side of things. Some personal economic effects of Obama's new taxation policies include none other than you. You know very well that over the years your grandmother and I have given you thousands of dollars in cash, tuition assistance, food, housing, clothing, gifts, etc., etc. But by your vote, you have chosen to help others — not at your expense — but at our expense.

What Obama supporters don't seem to realize is all of the money he is redistributing to illegal aliens and non-taxpaying Americans (the so-called "less fortunate") comes from tax-paying families.
Remember how you told me, "Only the richest of the rich will be affected"? Well guess what, honey? Because we own a business, your grandmother and I are now considered t o be the richest of the rich. On paper, it might look that way, but in the real world, we are far from it.
As you said while campaigning for Obama, some people will have to carry more of the burden so all of America can prosper. You understand what that means, right? It means that raising taxes on productive people results in them having less money; less money for everything, including granddaughters.
I'm sorry, Ashley, but the well has run dry. The free lunches are over. I have no money to give you now.
So, congratulations on your choice for "change." For future reference, I encourage you to try and add up the total value of the gifts and cash you have received from us, just since you went off to college, and compare it to what you expect to get from Mr. Obama over the next 4 (or

Ron Paul was the first to make the point that Obama's actions were more closely related to Corporatism AKA Fascism. But it's a fine line.
For example: there were very few differences between Hitler and the Marxists he hated so much.
Then go see which future President was in Chicago suing banks to give more subprime loans, charging racial discrimination on behalf of ACORN.
Go see who was a Senator who voted against regulating Freddie Mac. Then see who chose a former President of Freddie Mac as his economic adviser when he ran for President.
