Lets see a guy with no charming or magnetic personality who had never run for a political candidacy ever runs on The Conservative Ticket against a Liberal Republican and a Democrat. And He still almost wins even though the Liberal Republican Candidate quits and endorses the Democrat at the last minute. You mean that NY-23 ?

And YOU failed to mention NY-23, where a Tea Party endorsed candidate LOST a seat held by the GOP for 150 years! You can't point out the omissions of others, and claim it to be significant, while omitting something yourself. As amazing as the Scott Brown election was, it isn't any more amazing than the Bill Owens win in New York. Disingenuous much?

"just barely managed to win at that"? So winning by almost 10 million votes, 56% to 43% with 365 to 173 electoral votes is "just barely winning"? Ok, live your fantasy. After all, Bush lost the 2000 election, (50,456,002 47.87%to Gore's 50,999,897 48.38%) and then went on to a second term.
