He could have done nothign in those 7 freaking minutes. But he ended up doing a lot – despite the wailing from people like you. Bush was not afraid to take responsibility, to state clearly what he wanted to do and why and then do exactly that, or at least try. The contrast to Barack Obama couldn´t be greater. A blind man can see it.

It all illustrates that Obama is glued to his telepromter and George W. Bush didn't need one. When the chips were down he knew what to do and say both to the children and to the nation. It will be a long time before we have his equal in the WH again. Perhaps in 2012 if the nation even lasts that long.
