The point of this aritcle is that the president has failed on yet another campain promise and I think it makes that point very well. You say that all we do is spew talking points with nothing to back it up?
FACT: Obama promised to to "Reach across the aisle" to build consensus and unity. He has not.
FACT: Due to the Obama – Pelosi – Reid troika the country is much more divided then when he took office. the republicans have good ides for healthcare reform. They were ignored.
- The republicans have good ideas for the economy. They were ignored.
Obamas idea of "reaching across the aisle" is only to pull people to his side. This is not compromise or consensus building.
