In September 2011 Former President Burhanuddin Rabbani, a key Northern Alliance leader and the only Tajik to be President of Afghanistan, was murdered after Taliban emissaries promised to deliver him an important message of peace. When welcomed, they blew him up.

In August 2011, after a conspiracy that lured in members of our Seal Team Six with other heroic Americans, the Taliban set up an ambush and murdered them.

Following those brutal attacks, President Obama’s strategy has been to hasten negotiations with the Taliban. Additionally, the Obama administration has now not only offered to release known Taliban terrorists from detention, but has already released some and additionally offered to legitimize our sworn enemy by furnishing them a princely office in Qatar.

In return, Obama’s agents defend that they are being tough on the Taliban by demanding that they not use the office to raise funds to support their terrorism. That is a bit reminiscent of the Clinton-Albright demand of North Korea that if we give them nuclear technology, they must promise to use it for electric generation and not weapons.

According to many Afghans, all of these and other Obama Administration actions give substantial credence to the Taliban claim, supported privately by some Pakistani leaders, that the U.S. has lost in Afghanistan and is now begging them for negotiations. One Taliban leader who was released from detention by the Obama administration for medical and end of life purposes, is now back in command and recently demanded on Afghan TV that since the Americans have now lost and are begging for negotiations, Afghans disloyal to the Taliban must come ask forgiveness and for safety from the Taliban.

A Northern Alliance leader says that of the more than 800 Taliban detainees that have been released, he is now seeing many of them fighting, killing and terrorizing again. Yet, the Northern Alliance leaders are being effectively shut out of the plans for the way forward, while being demonized by the American government they helped.

The State Department even went to extraordinary links to attempt preventing the writers from meeting with the Northern Alliance leaders. We were able to meet, with some help from foreign friends, but clearly the Obama administration and its comrades mean for our allies to stay under the bus when they throw them there.

In late 2001-2002, the Taliban were defeated with less than 500 Americans embedded with the Northern Alliance, but now the Taliban is stronger while we have more than 100,000 American troops in Afghanistan. Though Vice-President Biden says the Taliban are not our enemies, American soldiers in Afghanistan say the Taliban are still creating IED’s, firing bullets, firing rockets and doing all they can to kill Americans, so it seemed to them that the Taliban certainly think they are our enemy. This points straight to the fact our military is not the problem; its their commander in chief who is the current weak link in our chain of command.

To date, the U.S. nation-building experiment in Afghanistan has produced instability, violence, skyrocketing drug production, widespread corruption, fraudulently rigged elections and the general disapproval of this new government by its own people. Under the U.S.-approved, Afghan Constitution, President Karzai appoints all governors for the provinces, all mayors, police chiefs, the slate for one third of the Senate candidates, and even a segment of the Class 1 teachers in the country. He even has power of the purse that the U.S. President does not have. Clearly this is a formula for heightened corruption, while isolating and ignoring many ethnic groups that make up the very essence of Afghan society.

Many with first-hand experience fighting the Taliban say they are dependent on Pakistan for their marching orders, strategy, and weaponry. In the meantime, President Karzai’s regime has dropped every pretense of appreciation for American sacrifice in blood and treasure as demonstrated by his recent threats to align with Pakistan, Iran and China even as we continue to prop up his government. From Karzai’s perspective, he may well see the Taliban and Pakistan as holding his fate in their hands once the U.S. pulls out.

At the same time, the U.S. is pouring billions of dollars into Afghanistan that comprises the largest portion of the Afghan government’s own budget. U.S.A.I.D. alone is pouring $3.6 billion a year into the country for aid and projects while the money often fails to get past corrupt government officials with 80 percent going to Taliban areas and a tiny fraction going to areas where our allies reside.

The Afghan leaders have become increasingly enriched as their contempt for us has continued to grow. At President Karzai’s encouragement, we have politically and militarily undermined the natural and historic barrier to the Taliban, which is the non-Pashtun peoples of the North, Central and Western parts of Afghanistan. As these non-Pashtun communities were weakened, their leaders were undermined by U.S. support for Karzai and his concentration of power.

The critical next step should be to insist on a new Constitutional Loya Jirga, or convention, that will draft a new constitution enshrining federalism as the new form of government. This would break the Taliban’s ability to dominate Afghanistan by strengthening those communities opposed to the return of the Taliban and their Al-Qaeda allies. It would give Afghans the kind of hope that our founders provided Americans 225 years ago with our Constitution.

We should insist on local elections of Afghan governors and mayors who may then select the police chiefs. Electing regional leaders would serve to eliminate the conduit of corruption built into the present system, while at the same time giving the governing authority back to the people who are now being disenfranchised.

This course would establish the basis for a political system that allows each of Afghanistan’s ethnic communities to retain their identity and protect them from the Taliban’s violent ethnic repression, brutality and regressive domination. The resulting political framework would also enable trust and goodwill to be built between Afghanistan’s diverse communities as each community would have a direct and important say in its own future.

Perhaps we should even consider support for a Balochistan carved out of Pakistan to diminish radical power there also. Surely, leaving Afghanistan to the same terrorist thugs who enabled the September 11th attacks is the very definition of insanity. The way forward should not include the current Obama plan of putting our future in Taliban hands that are covered with American blood.

Even before Osama Bin Laden was killed by U.S. soldiers, his brand of anti-modern, anti-pleasure Islam was under attack by Bollywood, India’s pop culture juggernaut that boasts a global audience of 3 billion people.

As Reason Foundation Senior Analyst Shikha Dalmia explains, Bollywood movies and videos appeal to young men and women in Muslim and Arab countries because they dramatize the sorts of tensions between traditional and modern ways of living. “Who should decide who one should marry – is it the parents or is it the boy and girls themselves?” asks the Indian-born and raised Dalmia. “In the West, in Hollywood movies, it’s not even an issue. But it’s a huge issue in that part of the world and all of Bollywood movies deal with that one central question.”

Dalmia also notes that Muslims are among the most popular – and sexually suggestive – performers in Bollywood productions. “When you have Muslims succeeding in Bollywood as Muslims, it makes them feel, well, we don’t have to give up our religion in order to be modern,” observes Dalmia. “That’s very, very subversive…of Islamic demands and Islamic extremism….If you can have a good time in this world…and still be religious, why do you have to strap suicide bombs to your chest and blow yourself up?”

Former radio talk show host and political activist Melanie Morgan is planning a protest outside the glitzy Jerry Brown fundraiser hosted by Jodie Evans, the cofounder of the anti-American group Code Pink this Saturday night. In her announcement of the protest, Morgan asked if Brown is a terrorist sympathizer, “Or is he just whoring himself out to people who fund thugs and rapists, support killers and send aid to people who murder U.S. servicemen?“, a reference to Jodie Evans’ well-documented history of working with terrorists and state sponsors of terrorist against the United States.

Sterling Clifford, a spokesman for Jerry Brown’s campaign, was quoted by the San Francisco Chronicle, dismissing the concerns.

“Jerry has always surrounded himself with politically active people and some of them continue to be politically active.

But the rhetoric that Melanie Morgan is using is counter-productive and insulting to voters,” Clifford said.

If not for her pro-terrorist record, Jodie Evans hosting a fund-raiser for Brown would not be controversial, as they have a decades – long political history.

While a law student, Jodie Krajewski (as she was then known) Evans worked as Brown’s deputy finance director during his 1978 gubernatorial campaign, and following his election signed on as his director of administration in the Governor’s Office.

The seemingly indispensable Jodie Evans later served as Brown’s treasurer on his 1980 Presidential Campaign, finance director for his 1982 failed Senate campaign, executive director of his post Senate PAC, managed his 1992 Presidential Campaign, and addressed the 1992 Democrat National Convention.

Jodie Evans produced Brown’s “We The People” radio show, and later worked on Brown’s Mayoral Inaugural festivities after he was elected mayor of Oakland. She later contributed nearly $25,000 to his campaigns for California Attorney General and his latest attempt to return to the governor’s office.

Is Jerry Brown aware of what Jodie Evans has been doing for the last eight years? Does he know she’s been consorting with enemies of America? Does he agree with the Code Pink founder, terrorist supporter, and Democrat party activist?

Does Jerry Brown truly believe that it is “counter-productive and insulting to voters” to ask Brown why he is taking money from a woman who has the blood of American soldiers on her hands?

The following are questions that the news media should be asking.

Does Jerry Brown agree with Jodie Evans that Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a “man of peace and human rights?”

Is Jerry Brown comfortable with Jodie Evans acting as an agent of influence for the anti-American governments of Iran, Cuba and Venezuela, as well as Middle Eastern terrorists?

Does Jerry Brown agree with Jodie Evans that Osama bin Laden had “valid arguments” for the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks that murdered nearly 3000 Americans and foreign nationals?

Does Jerry Brown know and approve that in February 2003, Jodie Evans and Code Pink traveled to Baghdad as a guest of Saddam Hussein’s government where they lobbied the world to keep the state sponsor of terrorism in power?

Does Jerry Brown know and approve that after the liberation in the summer of 2003, Jodie Evans returned to Iraq where she set up Occupation Watch, an effort to smear the U.S. with ginned up charges of atrocities and to get troops in Iraq to quit the war?

Does Jerry Brown know and approve that Jodie Evans relayed terrorist propaganda to a communist newspaper, falsely accusing American soldiers of wantonly slaughtering Iraqi women and children?

Does Jerry Brown know and approve that Jodie Evans and Code Pink delivered over $600,000 in cash and humanitarian aid to what Code Pink called “the other side” in Fallujah as the U.S. was waging a hard-fought battle to clear the terrorist safe haven of al Qaeda in Iraq and other Sunni terrorists?

Does Jerry Brown know and approve that the delivery of aid to “the other side” in Fallujah was facilitated by Sen. Barbara Boxer and Reps. Henry Waxman, Dennis Kucinich and Raul Grijalva?

Does Jerry Brown know and approve that six months later, Jodie Evans proclaimed her support for the armed “resistance” in Iraq while attending the World Tribunal on Iraq?

Does Jerry Brown know and approve that just one year later, Jodie Evans and Code Pink met with pro-terrorist Iraqi parliamentarians in Jordan who urged them to seek recognition for the so-called Iraqi resistance?

Does Jerry Brown know and approve that Jodie Evans and Code Pink also made a mysterious stop in Damascus, Syria on that trip? Members of Code Pink, sans Jodie Evans, went from Syria to Lebanon to give propaganda support to Hezbollah in its war with Israel that summer.

Does Jerry Brown know that in 2006, Jodie Evans and Code Pink traveled to Venezuela and met with Hugo Chavez. Does Jerry Brown agree with Jodie Evans that Chavez is a “sweetheart?”

Does Jerry Brown know and approve that Jodie Evans traveled to Cuba in 2007 and worked with the Castro government to propagandize against the U.S.?

Does Jerry Brown know and approve that in September 2008, just a couple of weeks after meeting Obama at a big money Hollywood fundraiser at the historic Greystone mansion in Beverly Hills, Jodie Evans met with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in New York City? Does Jerry Brown agree with Jodie Evans that Ahmadinejad is “really about peace and human rights and respecting justice?”

Does Jerry Brown know and approve that in November 2008, weeks after Obama won the presidential election, Jodie Evans and Code Pink traveled to Iran at the personal invitation of Ahmadinejad? And that Jodie Evans had previously visited Iran in 2005?

Does Jerry Brown know and approve that top Obama donor and fundraiser Jodie Evans met with the Taliban in Afghanistan on a recent trip there? And that she lauded the Taliban in a wide-ranging interview released by MIPtalk, for bringing what she characterized as “peace and justice” to Afghanistan while accusing the U.S. of failing to deliver either?

Does Jerry Brown know and approve that Jodie Evans and Code Pink have organized pro-Hamas propaganda visits to Gaza? In June 2009, Code Pink hand-carried a letter out of Gaza written to Pres. Obama from Hamas leaders that equated Israel’s defensive actions to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Does Jerry Brown know and approve that Jodie Evans and her terrorist sympathizing group Code Pink provoked a violent crisis in Egypt over an attempt to deliver ‘humanitarian aid’ to Hamas-run Gaza to mark the one-year anniversary of Israel’s response to repeated provocations by Hamas terrorists? And that Evans was joined in Cairo by Obama pals Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dorhn, both former terrorists with the Weather Underground?

Does Jerry Brown know and approve that Jodie Evans and Code Pink ran banner ads on the English language version of the official Web site of a terrorist sympathizing group, the Muslim Brotherhood, one of which invited the Muslim Brotherhood to “join us in cleansing our country?”

Jerry Brown should be held to account for allying himself with Jodie Evans, even if, in the bizarro world of California politics, she is considered a respected power-player in the Democratic party.

After California voters become aware of Jodie Evans, perhaps it is they who will find Jerry Brown’s permissive attitude towards a terrorist supporter to be “counter-productive and insulting to voters.”

The far left Soros-funded outfit does not just produce bogus films…They write bogus articles, too.

The horrible far left hacks at Think Progress once again were caught lying about supposed racism in the tea party movement. On Monday they posted some random editorial – from early July – published in a New Hampshire paper – by some lone racist and try to link him to the tea party…. But if you read the whole editorial you see that “tea party” is not even mentioned in the racist editorial! The tea party is not linked to this racist in anyway.

Think Progress just took an editorial written by some random racist and then they threw tea party on the title of their post. What horrible dishonest cranks.

Here is the entire editorial from the Concord Monitor:

We must preserve our racial identity
Ryan J. Murdough, Ashland
For the Monitor
July 4, 2010

I am running as a candidate for state representative in Grafton County District 8. I am running as a Republican, but I have been endorsed by the American Third Position. I am also the American Third Position state chairman of New Hampshire. The American Third Position is a political party that stands for the interests of white Americans.

For far too long white Americans have been told that diversity is something beneficial to their existence. Statistics prove that the opposite is true. New Hampshire residents must seek to preserve their racial identity if we want future generations to have to possibility to live in such a great state. Affirmative action, illegal and legal non-white immigration, anti-white public school systems, and an anti-white media have done much damage to the United States of America and especially New Hampshire. It is time for white people in New Hampshire and across the country to take a stand. We are only 8 percent of the world’s population and we need our own homeland, just like any other non-white group of people deserve their own homeland.

What will happen to New Hampshire once it is only 60, 50 or 40 percent white? Statistics show that areas with high non-white populations have higher rates of violent crime. New Hampshire has one of the lowest rates of violent crime in the country, but that will change as the white population percentage declines and the non-white population percentage increases. I urge New Hampshire residents to go to the American Third Position website and read for yourself what it is all about.

RYAN J. MURDOUGH
Ashland

As Think Progress reported, the New Hampshire racist was disowned as a candidate by the GOP who called him a “despicable racist” and a “fraud.” Murdough has no love lost for the GOP, complaining, “they’ve sold white people out.”

Think Progress also admits that they don’t even know if Murdough is a tea partier. But, he did mention “tea party” in the comment’s section of the July article and therefore, according to these radical hacks at Think Progress, that proves that the tea party is racist.

Got that? The tea party is racist because some white supremacist mentioned their name. Using this same logic, Obama is Al-Qaeda because he was mentioned in a Zawahiri tape. Hillary Clinton is part of the Taliban because they mentioned her in a tape.

This is insane and extremely dishonest. But, when you’ve got nothing and the unemployment rate is close to 10%, the record deficit is going over a trillion dollars, the country is broke and the president’s radical policies are unpopular across America, you make up lies to protect your radical associates.

What a disgusting dishonest website.
