On Wednesday, after Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels signed into the Right To Work law, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow squirmed in her chair with excitement as she showed the Super Bowl Village being invaded by Big Labor activists. [see update at bottom of post]

Rather than seeing the Super Bowl as a big event for Indiana, Maddow’s guest, Indiana State Rep. Scott Pelath, sees it as a “national platform” for Big Labor “education” through disruption.

Indiana AFL-CIO union boss Nancy Guyott pulls no punches describing the chaos she intends to create; she has declared war on Super Bowl spectators. From Sterling Wong at Minyanville.com:

“They think they won a war because you fought this little skirmish like it was a war,” said Indiana AFL-CIO President Nancy Guyott. “I know the Indiana labor movement and our opponents haven’t seen nothing yet.”

So Super Bowl fans, the storming of Super Bowl Village on Wednesday was just a warm up for Big Labor’s Sunday fracas. Rather than working to make their current union members want to remain union members, Big Labor thugs would rather use their forced-dues-filled coffers to create chaos at the Super Bowl and in the streets of Indiana. Their goal is to disappoint millions of Americans and bring back legislation that compels people to pay to unions.

These Super Bowl shenanigans may become a game changer. Big Labor intimidation tactics may finally be seen for what they are: an attempt bully the nation. Maybe politicians like Pelath and commentators like Maddow will begin to feel the heat for embracing Big Labor’s thuggish tactics.

And, congratulations Indiana for giving Right To Work freedom Hoosiers so they can choose to join and pay for these thugs, or keep their own wages from them.

*** Just In *** Washington Post reports unions have backed down and will not disrupt the Super Bowl. “The president of Indiana AFL-CIO is promising union members will not disrupt the Super Bowl festivities in Indianapolis”

To be blunt, I’m not a big fan of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. But my animosity isn’t because OECD bureaucrats threatened to have me arrested and thrown in a Mexican jail.

Instead, I don’t like the Paris-based bureaucracy because it pushes a statist agenda of bigger government. This Center for Freedom and Prosperity study has all the gory details, revealing that OECD bureaucrats endorsed Obamacare, supported the failed stimulus, and are big advocates of a value-added tax for America.

And I am very upset that the OECD gets a giant $100 million-plus subsidy every year from American taxpayers. For all intents and purposes, we’re paying for a bunch of left-wing bureaucrats so they can recommend that the United States adopt that policies that have caused so much misery in Europe. And to add insult to injury, these socialist pencil pushers receive tax-free salaries.

And now, just when you thought things couldn’t get worse, the OECD has opened a new front in its battle against America. The bureaucrats from Paris have climbed into bed with the hard left at the AFL-CIO and are pushing a class-warfare agenda. Next Wednesday, the two organizations will be at the union’s headquarters for a panel on “Divided We Stand – Tackling Growing Inequality Now.”

Co-sponsoring a panel at the AFL-CIO’s offices, it should be noted, doesn’t necessarily make an organization guilty of left-wing activism and mis-use of American tax dollars. But when you look at other information on the OECD’s website, it quickly becomes apparent that the Paris-based bureaucracy has launched a new project to promote class-warfare.

For instance, the OECD’s corruption-tainted Secretary-General spoke at the release of a new report on inequality and was favorable not only to higher income tax rates, but also expressed support for punitive and destructive wealth taxes.

Over the last two decades, there was a move away from highly progressive income tax rates and net wealth taxes in many countries. As top earners now have a greater capacity to pay taxes than before, some governments are re-examining their tax systems to ensure that wealthier individuals contribute their fair share of the tax burden. This aim can be achieved in several different ways. They include not only the possibility of raising marginal tax rates on the rich but also…reassessing the role of taxes on all forms of property and wealth.

And here’s some of what the OECD stated in its press release on income differences.

The OECD underlines the need for governments to review their tax systems to ensure that wealthier individuals contribute their fair share of the tax burden. This can be achieved by raising marginal tax rates on the rich.

Like Obama, the folks at the OECD like to talk about “fair share.” These passages sounds like they could have been taken from one of Obama’s hate-and-envy speeches on class warfare.

But the fact that a bunch of Europeans support Obama’s efforts to Europeanize America is not a surprise. The point of this post is that the OECD shouldn’t be using American tax dollars to promote Obama’s class-warfare agenda.

Here’s a video showing some of the other assaults against free markets by the OECD. This is why I’ve written that the $100 million-plus that American taxpayers send to Paris may be – on a per dollar basis – the most destructively wasteful part of the entire federal budget.

One last point is that the video was produced more than one year ago, which was not only before this new class-warfare campaign, but also before the OECD began promoting a global tax organization designed to undermine national sovereignty and promote higher taxes and bigger government.

In other words, the OECD is far more destructive and pernicious than you think.

And remember, all this is happening thanks to your tax dollars being sent to Paris to subsidize these anti-capitalism statists.

In Wisconsin, where Big Labor is circulating petitions to trigger the recall of Republican Governor Scott Walker, the state agency that monitors and administers elections is known as the G.A.B.

The ‘A’ is supposed to stand for accountability. But, in reality, not so much.

Yesterday we reported that the GAB would not comb through the petitions to disqualify duplicate signatures.

Today, we find out it is much worse than that.

[Madison, Wisc…] Duplicate signatures are not the only point of contention in the ongoing recall drives in Wisconsin. The board that oversees the state’s elections admits they will not check the validity of any of the signatures or addresses contained on the recall petitions expected to be submitted in January.

For $625,699 the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board will make sure all the blanks are properly filled out on petitions to recall Governor Scott Walker, but that’s all.

Meanwhile, news reports around the state have raised the questions about ineligible individuals signing the forms. At least one liberal group is encouraging voters to sign multiple times.

The GAB will not be checking for fraud, but will rule on challenges brought forth by the subjects of the recalls, should they find evidence of fraud.

Reid Magney, GAB spokesman, cited Section 9.10(3) of the State Statutes, under which the filing officer, ”shall determine by careful examination whether the petition on its face is sufficient.”

Administrative Rules GAB 2.05 and 2.07 expand upon the definition “facial sufficiency,” including the presumption of validity of information contained on the petition and the challenger’s burden to establish any insufficiency.

“[C]hecking addresses, verifying ages, etc., is by law the responsibility of the incumbent,” Magney said. “If the incumbent files a challenge that says John Smith does not live at 123 Main Street, Onalaska, then the GAB must determine whether the challenge is correct and the name should be struck.”

Magney says the burden of proving the validity of signatures will fall on Governor Walker, not those filing the recall petitions. Read more>>

So, if the legislature grants the GAB’s request for additional $600,000, up to 50 temporary workers, aided by GAB staff, will have at least a month to make sure the forms were completely (though not necessarily legally) filled out. Governor Walker and any legislator facing recall will have a whopping ten days to verify the hundreds of thousands of signatures are valid.

That’s right. Ten days.

However, the Walker campaign could go to court to contest GAB’s finding that the petitions are sufficient or for more time or to contest the validity of the signatures.

Settle in. It’s going to be a long and bumpy ride.

From Accuracy in Media’s Benjamin Johnson and Logan Churchwell:

Now that the holidays and winter weather are upon us, it will be a critical time for the Occupy Movement. Will they continue to slum in public (and private) parks illegally, or do they go back to their parent’s house? But more important, will unions of all kinds dedicate work days and member dues to pick up the slack? Accuracy in Media has found lately that the AFL-CIO, CWA, SEIU and others are more than willing to co-opt the movement.

Accuracy in Media has documented and captured additional footage of unions looking to take advantage of the movement, but this is the most blatant collusion to date. The combined efforts of labor, churches and academia have reminded us all what an AstroTurf movement looks like; despite the conventional media narrative.

Desperation is setting in at the White House and the white knight attempting to rescue Obama from himself is the NLRB, guided by a pair of Obama recess appointees Craig Becker and Mark Pierce (see National Labor Relations Board or NBLR – National Big Labor Resuscitation ). Becker and Pierce are taking steps to achieve Big Labor’s most coveted prize, card check (see Card Check through Regulation vs. Legislation).

The NLRB has scheduled a vote this Wednesday, November 30, 2011 where they Plan to Ease Way for Unions to rapidly organize employers through quickie elections. This vote is no more than “Card Check” in disguise (see the Board published a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking here). Why is this pair in such a hurry? Member Becker’s term expires at the end of December 2011, and this is the last time the rogue NLRB is guaranteed to have a democratic majority to combat the pending legislation to reign in the NLRB and to pass regulations that favor Big Labor (see Workplace Fairness Act Set to Move to the House Floor).

Just as important, the timeline referred to above is obviously a blatant move to provide big labor with the tools to rapidly force unionize unsuspecting businesses in order to provide Obama and the Democratic party a huge campaign fund source derived from the new influx of membership dues just in time for the 2012 elections. This is obviously a simple “pay to play” maneuver that will be A Death Penalty for Employees and Employers.

This is a classic case of Political Aspirations & Payback Ahead of American Jobs, because this President and the rogue NLRB are intent on Overwhelming the System in order to achieve their labor agenda, first pronounced in the Employee Free Choice Act (see EFCA Through the Backdoor).

Contrary to disingenuous mainstream media and liberal Democrat rhetoric, this Sleight of Hand from the Rogue NLRB has nothing to do with protecting employee rights, social justice or protecting the middle class. In fact, it will provide Big Labor the ability to do just the opposite by providing it with the tools to intimidate employees into signing union cards well before petitioning for an election, while removing employer ability to educate employees by shortening the election process to 10 days or less. This will virtually eliminate the employer’s ability to expose its employees to the truth that just because they signed a union card doesn’t mean they have to vote union during the secret ballot election as vividly detailed in The Devil at My Doorstep.

The truth is, this is much less about the rights of employees to organize than it is about the president winning the 2012 election, the future survival of the big labor Gasping Dinosaurs, and the redefining of America into a socialistic form of government.

However, the NLRB Putsch could have a monkey wrench thrown into its plans by the lone remaining Republican NLRB board member, Mr. Brian Hayes. In a recent letter to Congressman Kline, Chairman of the Committee on Education and the Workforce, Mr. Hayes indicated that he has been removed from the regulatory process, and that he may resign or boycott the vote to eliminate the chance of passage on Wednesday (see NLRB Member Hayes Details Outrageous Pearce Strong-Arming on Quickie Election Rules, Hayes Letter to Cline and Chairman Pearce Response to Member Hayes).

The circus continued when Big Labor lover and beneficiary California Congressman George Miller took Hayes to task concerning his threats to resign and incapacitate the board (see Representative Miller Weighs In On Potential Hayes Resignation and Miller’s Letter to Hayes). Congressman Miller is well aware the Supreme Court ruled in 2010 that two members alone lacked the legal authority to issue new regulations, which would obviously derail the president and his appointees ruling if Hayes decided to take such action, an action Hayes needs to take if we are to avoid Rule by Fiat and the associated massive loss of jobs/high unemployment.

When Will Congress and the Main Stream Media Wake Up and ask “Why are Businesses Sitting on the Sidelines?” They must realize, before it is too late, that this President and his backers are not interested in Restoring America’s Prosperity, but fundamentally changing it to a socialist/communist state. His biggest Big Labor backers such as the SEIU have been involved in rallies that raise the question, is Communism at the Highest Levels?

We must act before Becker’s NLRB Forces Unionization through Administrative Action. Please do your part and Click to Contact your Elected Officials NOW! Ask them to request Hayes to step down before Wednesday’s vote so that we may stop the Administration’s agenda. Such action is necessary to reign in the Rogue NLRB and this Administration’s destructive path towards socialism. Remember the cold war is now from within and America’s future and soul depends on all Americans understanding that The Problem with Socialism is Socialism.

In a lengthy post about the importance of the 2012 on the Communist Party USA’s website, Connecticut Communist leader—and friend of Rep. Rosa DeLauro [D-CT]—Joelle Fishman spends the bulk of her time bashing Republicans, the “right wing” and the Tea Party while going into some detail about the CPUSA’s strong ties to the union movement in Connecticut.

Below are excerpts, not in specific order, of the Communist leader’s lengthy post.

The doors are wide open in every community for 2012 with nationally coordinated grass roots work by labor and by the American Dream movement as a whole.

This election will be decided by the number of doors knocked on, the number of conversations held, the number of voters who are inspired to become a part of this movement and make a difference.

Where we have clubs that are focused on a neighborhood, door to door election work is made to order as a way to bring out the vote and build a club base. In the example I mentioned, we coordinated our participation through the labor movement. It all started with door knocking to find out what the concerns of the voters were in that ward, and it went from there. And don’t forget to bring voter registration cards along!

If there is a new club, or even if there is just an individual comrade in that area, the excitement of participating with the unions in an election campaign is really great. You are making a stronger labor movement and you are giving voice to the community, and you are helping to win all at the same time.

While many Americans understand that America’s future will rest on the outcome of the 2012 election, Communist leader Fishman spells it out for her Communist readers:

The 2012 elections are a pivotal moment for the direction of our country. If we veer backward it will be a giant setback for the newly emerging social movements and developing class consciousness in our country. It will make the crisis of every day living even worse, and foreign policy even more aggressive.

On the other hand, if the most heartless, inhumane sections of monopoly capital are delivered a blow, the conditions will be improved to raise the level of political independence and organization

In this way, the 2012 election is the immediate struggle that can move the process forward for fundamental change, for bill of rights socialism. As one of our state committee members in Connecticut likes to say: “The revolution isn’t somewhere down the road. The revolution is now and here in what we are doing.”

Of course, we’re told that the #OWS movement is just a ’spontaneous’ outpouring of anger by ordinary Americans.

Yeah, right…

______________
