CBS Affiliate KTVA’s Alleged ‘Context’ Doesn’t Match Content of Miller Recording
by Larry O'ConnorJerry Bever, general manager for CBS Anchorage affiliate KTVA, issued a statement today regarding the inadvertent voice mail left on the phone of a senior staff member of the Joe Miller campaign. He claimed that the discussion his staff members had regarding potential scandals for the Miller campaign was taken out of context:
The complete conversation was about what others might be able to do to cause disruption within the Miller campaign, not what KTVA could do.
The American public is supposed to believe that the staff of KTVA were sitting around imagining potentially scandalous stories that others might foist upon the Miller campaign and not ideas that they, themselves were conjuring.
Instead of just taking Mr. Bever’s word for it (like so many in the media and at Soros-Funded left-wing activist organizations have), lets actually hold the statements made on the recording up to the context Mr. Bever has provided.
Look at what was said and try as hard as you can to fit these sentences into that context:
MALE REPORTER: Oh yeah… can you repeat Joe Miller’s…uh… list of people, campaign workers, which one’s the molester?
[INAUDIBLE]
FEMALE VOICE: We know that out of all the people that will show up tonight, at least one of them will be a registered sex offender.
[Laughter]
MALE REPORTER: You have to find that one person…
If they were discussing what others might do, why do they keep saying “You” and “I”? Why don’t they say “They have to find that one person…” or “They know that out of all the people…”
FEMALE REPORTER: And the one thing we can do is ….we won’t know….we won’t know but if there is any sort of chaos whatsoever we can put out a twitter/facebook alert: saying what the… ‘Hey Joe Miller punched at rally.’
FEMALE REPORTER: Kinda like Rand Paul…I like that.
Again, do you notice how the reporter says, “And the one thing we can do is…”? If she is discussing what others might do, as Mr. Bever assures us, why doesn’t she say “And one thing they can do is…”?
The answer is simple. But clearly Mr. Bever and his apologists on the left think the American people are too stupid to scrutinize their embarrassingly lame explanation.
No one believes that these reporters were sitting around discussing what “others might be able to do to cause disruption within the Miller campaign.” At least no one who is not taking a Soros paycheck believes it.

The evidence has been presented against you. What evidence do you have to prove the recording is "out of context"?
Otherwise, face the punishment for the crimes to which you're accused (and guilty of).
It is a wonderfully ironic story. The TV station's defense is that the actual words spoken are out of context. What context is missing when the entire conversation is revealed? And the irony – I'll bet that they have dismissed objections from persons ruined by their stories, claiming the story is taking something out of context. Hoisted on their own petard. Too rich!
It only confirms what we all know, journalism is dead. Reporters are only there to enforce the narrative, change the world etc., not report events as they find them.
Pray for America tonight.
Pray that we do not fall into anarchy or civil war.
Like it or not a disputed or murky election outcome will put us on the path to chaos and war if the evil is allowed to continue in total power after Tuesday's election.
Pray that the insanity and brutal hatred emanating from the radical left is decisively defeated on Tuesday.
Pray for the continuance of the republic and this last bastion of God given liberties on Earth..

That is a true statement StanH! Between the Natl Public Radio Co.firing of a black Democrat Juan Williams, just because he deviated from the Radical Democrat script, and this unscrupulous display by the CBS affiliate in Ak, their credibility is ZERO, just like our tolerance of them!

First by being discovered as the corrupt CBS organization they are. Second, by lamely trying to concoct a story to explain it away, and expect sane people to buy it.
It is not a believable story. It is a ludicrous story. Silly, silly people. And also evil.

Well my lying ears heard what they heard and then I read the transcript, and I'll be damned my lying eyes hear the same thing.
Obviously Sarah Palin was being way too nice when she called them "corrupt bastards!" She should have called them "CORRUPT BASTARDS!"
It's not hard to understand. They can't stop the damage for anyone who actually hears the audio. But they can convince a bunch of other people that nothing happened, because they will never hear the actual audio. People will read his statement, and hear the commentary by ABC, etc., and believe what they are told. That it was all innocent, but a "teachable moment". The sickest part is that the station manager KNOWS that the rest of the mainstream media will cooperate. In a way, that is even worse than what they were doing, because it just shows that the media corruption is widespread, and not isolated to that station in Alaska.
Don't get so upset that they are saying something that doesn't make any sense, given what you hear in the recording. They aren't trying to fool you. They just want to contain the damage, for all the people who get their news only from the old media outlets.
It's sad really. There was a time when I thought that we might turn things around. A time when I thought things like liberty and honor and freedom might still exist in this country. It still does, but now it is "extreme" and "outside the norm".
When we have the MSM support this behaviour, liberty isn't just in trouble.
It's on life support.
Where is the outcry from the rest of the media? We have Fox and us. Against an apathetic and complicit fourth estate boulstered with help from our pathetic public servants.

If I had to guess, and this is pure speculation on my part, the "scenarios" story is the story the people on the call concocted between the time they realized they couldn't undo the message they left and the time their boss asked them about it.
I remember 15 years ago having a discussion with a liberal in San Francisco. They asked "why would a reporter make up something that was false". Well my response back then was the same as today. Because they are not objective. They are not free from political bias and this is just more proof. Look over the last decade how much lying the liberal media has done. The fact news stories about GW Bush. The cover up of Obama's background. The manufactured stories by reporters just like those at KTVA. You simply can not trust the media and yet these same liars will complain about Fox News. The reason Fox does so well is because they don't manufacture stories and they don't need to.

Ithas allowedthe free flow on information . . . free from government meddling (for the most part) and without interference (for the most part) from the established (mostly corrupt) media. I am anxious to hear Reason 2 on this. As I recall, the average is 3.284 "excuses" before these folks finally fess up to their disgraceful behavior.
