VIDEO: Infamous Walk Down the Cannon Building Steps Exposed

Andre Carson claimed he heard on March 20 in Washington DC, I’ve been looking all over YouTube. All of my searches were for video of the moment the congressmen were walking down the steps of the Cannon Office Building on their way to the Capitol.
Lee Fang, employee of the liberal think tank American Progress, posted a video he claimed happened five minutes after the congressmen were rushed by an angry mob at Cannon. I had been searching and searching for those five minutes of angry mob action for weeks. I never found it because it never happened.
What did happen, as seen in this video, is that Rep. Andre Carson and Rep. John Lewis strode down the steps of the Cannon Office Building with a wide berth and completely unencumbered. There was no angry mob. And no one “rushed” the congressmen. And no one yelled a racial epithet at them.

I don't expect any kind of response, or appology. Although I really appreciate your work following up on this. It's refreshing to see this kind of effort after so many years of no follow up on anything by the MSM (except to see how some local kitty is after it fell out of a tree).

I haven't read the legalese, but I assume the United Negro College Fund only applies to those people commonly known as "Black" or "African-American." That is discriminatory, and racist.

What if it happened, but video/audio evidence doesn't exist? I mean, murders happen, and a lot of the time there isn't video evidence of it. But they still happened, and people still get convicted. I suspect if a T-Party rallier had audio/video evidence which proved it, they wouldn't share it; and the Congressional black caucus people don't look like they were filming it themselves.

I'm at the point where I just don't even want to get into discussions with liberals anymore, at least online. In person they tend to be a bit more civil as being next to someone seems to make a difference in how you act towards them.
On the internet, Or in front of a camera on MSNBC, liberals can say whatever they feel like because there is a buffer there. They don't have to look into someone's eyes, face to face, and accuse them of racism. I personally don't feel they have the guts to do that.
For example, at the Tea Parties. I haven't heard of any cases of liberals barging in and getting into someone's face and calling them a racist or a bigot. That would take courage. Instead, they do it online, or in the case of the media, in front of a camera, or on a blog.
I did my best to follow Andrew's example of going on the offensive and refusing to be called a racist. But every time I get into a discussion (online at least) about this stuff, I just get tons and tons of anger and vitriol spewed against me. I suppose the idea is to get me to shut up and not express myself, and I have to say it's working. I can't afford the stress of taking on 50 people at a time calling me a racist and a bigot simply because I said something like "I support the Tea Party".
So I'm afraid I'm going to leave the new media fight to people like Andrew, who have the stomach for this sort of thing. In the real world, I do much better because I can look you in the eye and persuade you. Not so with new media.
I've been "debating" politics online for years and I have to stop. Part of me feels guilty, like I have a responsibility to always express my views, not matter the venue.. but my quality of life suffers in the process. I am happy that there are more of us than them, though. And in November I will happily cast my vote for freedom. As long as I do that I think I'm keeping up my end of the bargain.

Well after reading your reply I returned to a previous discussion I was involved in, and made a very long, thoughtful reasoned post that highlighted how backwards liberals are with all this racial profiling. AND I was pleased to see that in the mean time, one of our fellow soldiers had started speaking out as well, so it ended up not being JUST me speaking the truth.

Hi all. Forgive me for sounding a bit nerdy here but I'm a science fiction fan and I believe the analogy fits. A common story line in SciFi seems to be where some explorers encounter some alien being or force. At some point they feel threatened by said being or force. They attack it and it grows more menacing. They attack it again. And again. The more they attack it, the more menacing and dangerous it becomes to the attackers. In the consistent themes and happy endings of such stories, the explorers figure out that attacking is not a good strategy.
What I find so wonderful is about our present situation is that with every attack, my resolve as well as that of millions of other patriots continues to grow stronger. And the idiots attacking us will never realize the error of their ways. They are too stupid to stop. (too bad their parents never told them 'no') If the situation of the country weren't so dire, I might have been happy to just watch. As it is, they have turned me and millions of others into full participants and they don't have a clue what is coming their way.
