This hard hitting website has taken the MSNBC format to a new level. Hit us again guys, because while you spend never-ending union dollars attacking Tea Parties, we are repairing the change you said we could believe in, one candidate at a time.

This tiny group of Tea Bashers says its mission is “To prevent the Tea Party’s dangerous ideas from gaining legislative traction.” You might want to watch something other than the mainstream media. In case you haven’t heard, we have already gained legislative traction, which I’ll venture a guess that this was the reason for the emergency birth and delivery of your premature website.
We can’t think of a better way for organized labor to spend its time and money. I am so thrilled with your approach I may donate to your cause myself.
I would ask that all Tea Partiers across the nation send an email of congratulations to these left wing warriors. Their contribution to the Tea Party mission is invaluable.
Tea Partiers are used to taking punches like this both, figuratively and literally. The punches themselves aren’t that effective, but the propaganda budget is where the fight really takes place. The Tea Parties are grass roots and don’t extort donations from their members via payroll deduction. Thank you for making our job a little easier. It is comforting to know that we have a group with this level of intellectual and strategic prowess working toward the Tea Party mission and goals. Just remember, Hope and Change.

Look around. Tea party patriots are rejecting GOP candidates all over the country. Take a look at Illinois. The Kirks (Mark Kirk and Kirk Dillard) are solid RINOs and the tea party will have nothing to do with them.
Sure, the GOP is trying to infiltrate, but it ain't workin'.
That's the point. We hope the GOP comes back to solid principles of a government smaller in scope and size. Time will tell.

Someone once said that you do not need a gun to rob a bank, you need a suite and tie. It’s obvious that after the first year of President Obama’s administration that that someone was correct; in fact you could throw in elected office as an additional prerequisite. I have watched in abject horror and fear as our economic situation has deteriorated over the past year. The good news is that we are no where we have not been before, and if we begin to do the right thing soon we will put ourselves on a path to fiscal sanity and prosperity. The bad news is that we will soon pass a point of fiscal no return, in much the same way that England did earlier in this century, that did not end well for them, and it will not end well for us.
The first goal of improving ones financial circumstance is defining the problem. Our problem on the national level is spending, debt, and decreasing tax receipts. Like most problems in life, the longer one waits to solve them, the tougher they are to solve. To spend wisely one must set priorities that match objectives. For example if we continue to borrow money from communist China to buy missiles that cost millions to blow up tents in Yemen; with every missile we fire we may be winning the battle, but we will lose the war. This lesson in waging war was readily apparent to my Grandfathers generation, but it has been lost to time and we must relearn it quickly. To borrow wisely one must consider very carefully the purpose of the incurred debt; are we borrowing to build a nuclear power plant that will provide decades of secure power or pay for a party? Every time you see a politician having a good time, please remember, he or she is having a good time on your children's borrowed dime. To increase tax receipts government must reduce the penalty to create capital, and thus grow the economic pie; last year if you made $100,000.00 are married and have two children and live in one of highest tax states a minimum of 44% of your capital created went to the taxing authorities local, state, and federal. Next year our tax burden will be higher as the tax cuts that were passed in the last decade will expire and localities raise taxes in the face of a falling tax base, this will only lead to less capital formation and less tax receipts.
Setting spending priorities must meet our national and strategic goals. We must continue our advances in space exploration and technology. We must maintain a military that can prevail in any fight. We must provide help to those who cannot help themselves by reason of birth, infirmity, or age. To accomplish this we need a federal budget whose spending expresses those priorities. I cannot imagine how a $4 Trillion budget can’t be brought down to a $3 Trillion budget and accomplish these goals and begin to reduce the debt and the deficit. To not do this is a form of fiscal and national suicide. We must take all of those common sense behaviors we engage in as individuals with our money and our lives, and get the state and national governments to reflect what we know as individuals. Make no mistake, that unless we make changes as to how we spend, and how we tax, we will end up not as the powerful nation we once were, but one that exists at the benevolence of other nations.
Haiti is a nightmare, but it was one long in the making, the road to hell is paved with good intentions, had we exported them a free market instead of bandaids over the decades the souls lost their would have been far fewer. But we saw mouths to feed, we saw mothers who needed help, we saw children who needed an education and we helped. In the grand scheme of things we did not help the Haitian people – we hurt them. We hurt them because we gave them the fish and we failed to teach them how to fish, we hurt them because instead of exporting the one philosophy that could save them, the free market, individual liberty and a respect for private property, we exported bandaids. Next time you are watching the images of the desperate Haitian people I want you to think of what makes this country the wealthiest, and even in the dark depths of the last depression, maintain the highest standard of living on the face of the earth; it was freedom that did that, and it will be freedom that does it again.

I read the Tea Party movement (Not yet a member, but considering it. Already changed from REP. to IND. I'll blame Bush) as Constitutionalists. The MSM only sees the 10% of hard core Obama haters that are there (They always miss the nuts that show up for Dem. events, or even defend their actions) they and the Dem.'s ignore the other 90% at their peril. How many of the people who call themselves Tea Partiers now stood up to George W. Bush for 8 years when he was increasing the size of government and turning a surplus into a large deficit? When GWB wanted to go to unnecessary wars, did they say "hey, what about the deficit?" When he wanted to cut taxes for the rich without paying for it, did they say "hey, what about the deficit?" When they added the Medicare prescription drug benefit, did they say "hey, what about the deficit?" Now that we are in an actual scary near-depression when we actually need to run a deficit for a couple of years they say "hey, what about the deficit?"
This movement is just Republicans who want to pretend that they were not the same people who got us into this mess.
For those that have a hard time figuring out what the Tea Party is, think of it as three lttle words.

It is difficult to find a good candidate to run. The people that would represent us best have LIVES! They work, raise families, and are engaged in their local communities. Many of them can not afford to take a year off to campaign.

The Tea Party has no ideological leader. It has ideological ideas. The core of the tea party is an aversion to big government intrusion and intervention. It is essentially libertarian and conservative. It speaks to the burden of big government on business and the individual. Liberals and Statists cannot understand it because they believe in big government and leaders who can implement their utopian ideals of government being the puppet master of all that is good. The Tea Party sees power in individual liberties and trusts the individual with common sense. Statists think that individuals are too stupid to negotiate out of a paper bag and need someone more intellectual with the bigger picture in mind. The debt of the federal and state government is directly related to progressive ideology and liberal leaders of both parties who have implemented their utopianism on the United States. Progressives/Liberals/Statists will never understand the great unwashed masses of the the Tea Party because they are now in the same league as the old monarchies of the past.

Thank you, SFC McQueen, for the heads up. Tea party patriots must stay diligent and carefully choose local candidates to support to ensure they actually share their same values. We certainly don't want to be infiltrated by groups only interested in getting elected on the coat tails of this popular new grass roots uprising.
This new group of tea-party-bashers-of-fortune will go the same way of all the other naysayers – nowhere. They are unsustainable because they are fundamentally insincere. Mercenary tea party bashers just don't have the power of conviction of the true grass roots needed to actually make any real difference.

Bad premise. There is no, none, zero evidence that running a deficit does anything to help a country out of a recession, and a good bit that shows that it makes them last longer. Please don't insult our intelligence by feigning the slightest bit of concern about deficit spending. You people wrote the book on it. If that's correct, then kudos for your consistency, I agree with you on some but not all of those points . I suspect, however, that you are in the minority amongst people who currently call them members of the tea party.

I just called the numbers that theteapartyisover so kindly provided and offered my congratulations. They must be doing the right thing to have made it on the "Hit List". It seems to me like the site was borne out of fear.
Incorrect – the majority of people that are opening their eyes respect GWB as a honorable person and perhaps liked several things about him. But most are also realizing that he was just another piece of the puzzle that is the current threat to this nation. There is a difference there that so many on the left simply refuse to see.
It is true, a lot of people were asleep at the wheel and allowed past administrations to get away with things that they should not have. But that does not change the fact that those same people are now fighting to right this train. We all made mistakes, and now it is time to correct them – and not by turning America into a Eurozone or worse…

For over twenty years people who form the Tea Parties have been saying the "government is getting too big and is spending too much" for over twenty years, it is only now that people are paying attention.
This is not a (D) vs (R) thing, this is the WE The People vs Big Government "Progressives" on both sides of the isle. It just happens that many of the (R)s agree, as do a few (D)s & (I)s, many of them don't and they will be weeded out regardless of of what letter in brackets follow their name.

You greatly underestimate the amount of people who, whether they voted for Bush or not, admit that both sides of the isle have been extremely irresponsible. Pinning the housing crisis and other hugely negative instances on our economy on Bush while conveniently forgetting the leaders of the (D) party who were so happy to make it all happen (Barney Frank should be in Jail for 10x the amount of time of Madoff) is just rediculous.
Stop making it all party based, and understand that 2/3 of the people who identify themselves with the ideals of the Tea Party could give a crap about the Republican party. It's just that if they want to get where they want the gov't to go, directing the (R)'s in the right direction is probably the right way to do it. And voters have made that a bit obvious lately.

You union hierarchy folks are going to have to understand a couple things here.
The fact that the rank and file dutifully pay their union dues on time each and every month is a function of self preservation not loyalty to your dim view of issues… which leads me to the second thing.
The cheering that you guys get at the union hall meetings is no indication of your approval of your objectives but rather an obvious acceptance of your pie in the sky promises.
This is why, I can only presume, you have come out into the real world and think that your political muscle is going quell this movement.

A union contract may provide all sorts of goodies for the next fiscal year……
But it will never trump the contract we made in 1776.
Here in Ohio, Sherrod Brown has wasted no time in proposing legislation in the state to override the SCOTUS decision. Boy these PROGRESSIVE Democrats sure don't waste time when it comes to $$$$$$$$. They want to make sure that if they don't get the $$$$$$$$$$ no one else will either. Ohioans need to get this "scum" along with Gov. Strickland, Kucinich, SOS and others out of office.

Bush was bad, all except for the tax cuts. My wife and I make less than 65K, most of our federal income taxes were eliminated by those cuts. I do not consider us to be rich by any standard. Loom at history. There were many of us railing against the defecits, and tax cuts do not need to be "paid for", they increase revenue and encourage economic growth.
When was t6he last time your paycheck was signed by someone who makes less than 50K a year? That is the low end of the income leevlthat received tax cuts under Bush, and the lower ends will pay more when this disaster of a President gets his tax hikes.
