Obama’s Fiftieth Birthday: Plenty of Celebration, Few Results
by Sean HazlettOn Wednesday, President Obama attended a gala celebration in Chicago to celebrate his fiftieth birthday one day early. Attendees paid $35,800 a ticket to bask in the light of their Messiah, and to mingle with musical stars Herbie Hancock and OK Go.
Meanwhile, outside the Obama bubble, the stock market heralded President Obama’s 50th birthday with a 512 point decline — more than 10 points for each year he’s been alive. It was the Dow’s worst day since the 2008 financial crisis.
Many Americans find the President amiable and charismatic. That said, results are all that count, and by this measure, the President has fallen well short of the mark.
For those still blaming President Bush for an economy that has been all but stagnant for nearly three years of Obama’s management, the numbers speak for themselves:
Perhaps the President should spend less time hobnobbing with celebrities, and a little more time on fixing the economy.

Since his efforts to assist the economy is full of such abject failures the best thing he can do IMHO is to ignore it! His supposed fixes have been proven time and again to cause far more damage and I am not sure we can afford anymore of his "help".
He parties while the rest of us suffers.
It's funny – I don't find the president charismatic in the least. In fact, he repulses me so much I cannot watch him speak anymore – the tone of voice, the cadence, the absolute lies – I am just so over it.
Did they play the censored versions of those hip-hop songs or did the women have to sit there surrounded by men listening to lyrics casually referring to women as "bitches" and "hos". The idea that the president of the United States is hanging out with Jay Z is just mind-blowing. Jay Z raps proudly about selling crack cocaine, but the president just does not give a sh*t. As long as he's having fun and getting his a** kissed by celebrities, it's all A-OK.

Obama blames "divisive U.S. debt talks" as a factor contributing to "slack growth"! The main factor for the "divisive U.S. debt talks" and for the debt is Obama himself! Spending in economy-killing, TRILLION-dollar SCAMS like Obamacare, Obama caused much of the debt problem. And then he had no plan to control the debt, except taxing us more and spending more! Led by Republicans, the House APPROVED a plan, the Cut, Cap, and Balance Act of 2011. That plan was not perfect (most of us would like to cut more), but it was an HONEST plan. Democrats refused to even consider that plan. Instead, they forced us to swallow a debt plan based on deception, a plan that was meant only to FOOL us into believing that our financial problems were being addressed Obviously the Democrat’s DECEPTIVE PLAN did not fool Wall Street.

This Prez amazes me. On his birthday the stock market lost 500+ points and a trillion dollars of peoples wealth was lost.
Where is the Oman? Party in Chicago and not a single member of his adminstration had 1 word of encouragement or showed they even cared. SILENCE is not an answer.
This man has ZERO idea of what a leader is or how to be one. He's to busy playing golf, having parties everywhere, on vacations, I've lost count of how many. Shucking and jiving, and absent from the field while the nation is under stress is his style. I wonder if he even cares? If he does he sure has a weird way of proving it.

Well I don't know about that. These latest debt figures are in the Arabic numbering system. You know that anybody that accuses the president of being a muslim is obviously a racist. Therefore I think we should go back to using the Roman Numeral System. Other than the Super Bowl, this would require a massive re-tooling of the American economy. The president himself said things like ATM's were stealing american jobs.
I figure with the Roman Numeral jobs creation act of 2011 we will "save or create" 3 million jobs and end racism!

PLEASE stop with this BS! He's clearly neither! He's a childish, petulant, arrogant, narcissist! Period! I'm so sick of people on the right saying his policies are wrong and then always throwing in some stupid comment about how likeable or friendly he is as a person! Really? Can you show me examples of this? I've never seen it. Look how he reacts or handles anyone who disagrees with what he says, from scolding the Supreme Court in his State of the Union to doing the same thing to Paul Ryan to walking out of a meeting in a childish huff because Cantor said something he didn't look.
Give me a break with this 'good guy' stuff! Enough is enough!
Its the gas that kills me. The difference is between $150 and $200 a month for me. That's about 5% of my annual income in gas prices due to a woefully unsuccessful energy policy. "Prices will necessarily skyrocket" indeed…
