Congressman Steve King today made the following statement urging American citizens to descend on Washington to kill ‘Pelosi Care’.
“Nancy Pelosi and Washington liberals cannot ignore what transpired yesterday in Washington. Americans from every state stormed Capitol Hill. They took over the Hill. And they loudly chanted ‘Kill this bill!’ “We can kill this bill and stop the government takeover of health care. We need the help of every American willing to stand up for freedom and liberty. I urge all Americans who oppose this bill to come to Washington tomorrow morning and join us to stop this bill.”
Tomorrow at one p.m.
Congressman King will join his Republican colleagues and Americans from across the nation seeking to have their voices heard in the health care debate for a second House Call press event.
Republicans and other participants will deliver a message that the American people reject a government takeover of health care.

Government and the mob are the only organizations that can control anything, including healthcare, by the point of a gun! If government takes over healthcare and you don't follow the dictates of the czar you can and will either be taxed into oblivion or arrested (hence my reference to the point of a gun.)
Anyone else that wants to control something has only one out; ownership. You can't control what you don't own! It belongs to someone else! It is their decision to make. All of the healthcare "REFORM" currently being discussed is asking [i.e. consumers] or ordering [i.e. government] someone else [i.e. insurance companies, hospitals, doctors, patients, etc] to change the way they do their business. A better solution is to take the situation in hand and institute a truly free market solution so the market has a chance to work.
I am deeply involved in the only healthcare reform solution, that I know of, that is not asking/begging/ordering someone else to sacrifice their freedom of choice. If you want to bring down healthcare costs, own the solution!

Second Tea Party Express is on it's way as well. The Rally on Thursday was a great success from what I hear and what I saw on Fox. If anyone is still in town to rally tomorrow, all the better. Ultimately, Pelosi et al do not CARE how many hundreds of thousands or even millions show up on the steps of the capital. They are going to do what they please. Minority Republicans are working hard to fight this thing and as someone said, Minority Republicans and the American People make up a majority. We have to MAKE them believe it.

At the start of this health care "stuff" I e-mailed Lloyd Doggett (D) Texas to voice my opposition to this health care bill. I got an e-mail reply that I wasn't in his district so he couldn't get back to me. I called his office here in Austin. His aide was polite and listened but then proceeded to tell me Doggett wasn't my representative, which I already knew, and gave me the name of Mike McCaull (R) who I already knew was my representative and fighting for the people. Well, lo and behold, on Tueday or Wed of this week I get a recorded phone message wanting me to come to a rally at the Capitol on Nov 14 th so WE CAN GET THIS HEALTH CARE PASSED! Suddenly not being in his district doesn't matter. I've always thought Doggett was a liberal sleeze.
Well, well, just got my fax report, and ALL faxes to any R went through. About half of the D faxes would not go through. Guess the fax machines got disconnected tonight. How the heck can we communicate to OUR Congressmembers?
Forgot to mention, after I was done with the Ds, I started on the Rs as well….
