Did Obama Let the Progressive Cat Out of the Bag?
by SusanAnne HillerPresident Obama traveled to Boston to help stop the bleeding of Martha Coakley’s campaign from several self-inflicted wounds. There are many critiques of the speech, with some pundits saying Obama was flat, uninteresting, and full of the usual drive-by campaign rhetoric that we have all become able to recite ad nauseum.
As most of us are aware, Obama–without his teleprompter–rambles, is at times incoherent, and goes on and on to answer a yes or no question. He needs his teleprompter. It’s not like an addiction need, it’s more like ‘I really need my teleprompter, because I don’t want to say what you don’t want to hear’ type of issue.
Obama and his compliant press have tried to manufacture him as a centrist; however, that cover has been blown as of today.
What was stated in the Coakley cheerleading campaign speech in Boston, I don’t think Obama meant to say. He’s been off the campaign trail for so long, that he’s not on his game; I think the misstatement by Obama was a huge gaffe. At about 4:28 during the speech, Obama states:
“…you will carry on the best progressive, forward-looking values…”
He alluded to Massachusetts’ as being progressive and may have thought he was in good company, but for those watching the speech who are undecided and awakened to the whole progressive agenda, maybe not so much anymore. I’ve seen many speeches, and I have yet to hear Obama use the word progressive. He is very careful to hide his progressive roots from the Independent voters who are so critical. It is also further confirmation to the rest of the country, for those who continue to doubt, that he is indeed a progressive and clearly not a centrist
Finally, could Obama have underestimated the people in Massachusetts? Could they be reclaiming their history as it appears? After all, Massachusetts did fire the shot that was heard around the world.

Remeber the campaign blather about a new direction, fresh faces and ideas and t he American people yearning for Hope & Change? The bait and switch was on when he surrounded himself with stand-by Clintonites and other steady-eddy democrats, not to mention the Thugocracy of Chicago Politics. It was readily apparent then, however, the general public didn't notice. It wasn't until after the Immaculation of Ascent on January 20, 2009 when he infested the White House with radical Communists and Marxists czars that the public began an amazing awakening to who this Joker really is, (he taught Saul Alinsky concepts at the University level, for chrissakes).

The Bus-Driver-In-Chief has made a huge left turn in his first year, with more Czars in the White House, his payback to the special interests Pork-u-lis Bill, the Health Care Bill that has exemptions for several different States and all of his union cronies, and his world wide apology tour which as most people have noticed, not made us any safer, but in fact more vulnerable. It appears Martha Coakley will be the latest with tire tracks courtesy of BO. House and Senate Dems should take note because many of them will be be sporting those same tracks this fall.

I watched some of Obama's remarks and I could have sworn I did see a teleprompter. Which makes his comments even worse. He is so terribly out of touch with the electorate. He keeps saying things like "the health care plan that the American people want." The health care plan that few want, because the people now know it has nothing to do with health care. It's about controlling yet another facet of our lives so he can bring about the "new world order" his patron, George Soros, envisions. Can't have that folks, unless you flush the economy down the drain, and have life-and-death say so over the voters. Let's pray that we don't have voter fraud in this election by ACORN, the Massachusetts Democratic machine, and/or the SEIU (better known now as the Purple People Beaters).
I could hardly say "blame the media". When I first say Obama speaking at the Convention, I thought he was impressive, but when a new politician shows up, you have to check out his record before voting for him. I voted for Bush both times, but thought Obama might be an old-time Democrat. The more I learned, the less I liked about him. I'm a factory worker with only a High School Diploma. If I could figure it out, anyone could.

If voting were a fair process open only to honest and informed citizens, the outcome would be obvious. We will however have a vote that includes substantial numbers of illegal aliens, the woefully ignorant, dead people and felons – the government of MA has been run for years by the minions of the Democrat party – ACORN, SEIU, as if the usual "party hacks" aren't corrupt enough. My guess is that it would take a 2/3 majority "real vote" to overwhelm the corruption, but even that may not suffice. As Stalin said, it matters little who votes, but it matters a lot who counts the votes. Let's hope for a miracle.

I wish there some way to eradicate the left's hijacking of the word "progressive". i think that the majority of voters today have no idea what "progressive" means in political terms. Instead they react as if it is the same word as "positive","forward-thinking" etc.
