Let's see. On the one hand, we have :
Justice, CIA clash over probe of interrogator IDs.
The CIA and Justice Department are fighting over a secret investigation into a controversial program by legal supporters of Islamist terrorists held at Guantanamo Bay that involved photographing CIA interrogators and showing the pictures to prisoners, an effort CIA officials say threatens the officers' lives.
On the other hand, Eric Holder doesn't want the American people to learn the identities of the "al-Qaeda seven", lawyers who are being paid by the tax-payer to work on "detainee matters" in the U.S. Dept. of Justice?

John Yoo should be jailed, and the key thrown away!!!!
John Yoo publicly argued there is no law that could prevent the President from ordering the torture of a child of a suspect in custody – including by crushing that child’s testicles.
This came out in response to a question in a debate in Chicago with Notre Dame professor and international human rights scholar Doug Cassel.
What is particularly chilling and revealing about this is that John Yoo was a key architect post-9/11 Bush Administration legal policy. As a deputy assistant to then-Attorney General John Ashcroft, John Yoo authored a number of legal memos arguing for unlimited presidential powers to order torture of captive suspects, and to declare war anytime, any where, and on anyone the President deemed a threat.
How does any of this make the US any better than its enemies??
Hi, hockey-puck. I'm curious. How do you feel about Obama having these same powers? Is that going to make us more OR less safe as a national society?
Cheap shots can bring down an institution? Really? If only that were so then I wouldn't need to watch Freddie and Fannie suck taxpayer money. Even Sonia Soso gave the same cheap shot over and over about the very institution she now sits on. I understand, disdain for the lack of proper tone puts it all into perspective, and context, and above the masses. But how does the long view help me if I'm dead? My life for the long term constitutional implications? The 400 Gitmo bar attys made sure there was no long term 9/11 commission action; open borders, immigration, IDs, etc. While Richard never seems to give a thought for military on the front lines saving American lives, I am equally offended he feels that Americans will live and die but as long as the institutions remain, the day is won.
I am reminded of the little grade school girl with special needs who was blowing bubbles in her milk at lunch time. She was asked to stop. She continued having innocent fun blowing bubbles in her milk. School staff sat on her chest to teach her a lesson. She died. Where are her 400 pro bono lawyers? Are they coming to the aid of children who are tortured with restraints and seclusion across our nation in our schools to the point they hang themselves in the seclusion room like one grade school boy? No. AQ7 can go to hell.
Yes, John Yoo also argued that the president could exterminate an entire village of civilians if he feels it is necessary. What a despicable POS.
Clearly no leader should be given these powers, especially when we no longer have a government that is for, we the people, but instead, we have governments that are beholden to multinational corporations, that in itself makes these powers so very dangerous!!
U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower himself argued against the strengthening corporatocracy in the form of a military-industrial complex that sets national and international financial, economic, political and military policies due to a permanent war economy.
