Andrew Breitbart Is Out to Save the World (And He Just Might)

You won’t find too many people who are indifferent toward Andrew Breitbart. But love him or hate him, you can’t ignore him. With his ever-growing collection of “Big” websites (Big Government, Big Hollywood, Big Journalism and Big Peace so far), Andrew has redefined how the political right views and uses the Internet. He makes no apologies for his “in your face” style, nor should he. That style has won him many victories and many enemies. He seems to occupy the time of a disproportionate number of left-wingers, including many employees of the ultra-left-wing censorship factory called Media Matters. Those “senior fellows” are about to have their weekends ruined as Breitbart moves from the virtual world to the book world with Righteous Indignation: Excuse Me While I Save the World (2011 Grand Central Publishing) this Friday, April 15th.
If you know Andrew, or have ever cornered him for a few minutes of conversation, you know his brain is like a shotgun — going a thousand miles an hour in every conceivable direction at once. He attributes this to ADHD, but constantly being pulled in 50 directions at once by everyone in the room doesn’t help either. But in Righteous, Breitbart is more focused than he’s ever been. He has a tale to tell — three, actually.
Righteous is three books in one, each self-contained. Together, they weave a narrative that will remind many readers of their own lives. Even if you don’t share all of Andrew’s political beliefs, you will find yourself identifying with at least some of his story and conclusions. The book is part biography, part history lesson, and part manifesto, and it flows with clarity of purpose from one page to the next. It subtly draws you into a narrative, strung through the whole book, where he meticulously makes the case against the media and pop culture, which, he argues, help spread and normalize the liberal agenda. He also explains how to combat that agenda.

Andrew Breibart…one of America's true patriot's ….between him and Glenn Beck, the msm have had to sit in the mud, ( the mud that they are responsible for creating! )and spin their wheels!!! Try, as the liberal traitors might, they have yet to prove ONE thing, that these two men have done, as un-American!!
Andrew, I believe this book will be #1 on the best seller list…and you can bet that the leftist haters in this country, will be screaming until they are hoarse!!
For someone who started out as a liberal leftist, ( in Hollywood no less ) Andrew saw with his own eyes, and heard with his own ears, exactly what deception was happening in our great country, and set out to make it right!!

OMG!! Andrew will be at the Jacksonville Landing tonight at a Tea Party and I cannot go see my hero!!! I have a badly broken hand, and my husband is afraid that the crowds of people will be too dangerous!! I would give ANYTHING for an autograph, and to hear him speak!!
I'll be buying a copy. And yes I have met him. Spent a few minutes talking with him in a quiet lounge at the SRLC2010. Sat in the front row while he addressed that same event. And saw him in the hallway among cameras in a crowd. Enjoyed every minute of it, and it shows why he needs 3 books in one.

I am not going to waste my money on it. Like the vast majority of our Republican leadership he refuses to address illegal immigration. We got Sotomeyor on the Supreme Court because of the Hispanic (read illegal) vote. The pundits are already saying the Florida election will be decided by Hispanics.
Americans just do not matter because it is easier to buy the votes coming across the border.
Any one who has followed these sites knows that "path to citizenship" has been pushed very had by the contributors. They would routinely get shot down by the comment section. I guess that is why you don't see those articles anymore.
Yes Pigford is a problem, but not as big a my tax dollars going to support someone who isn't supposed to be here.
You're probably going to get excoriated for this post, but I agree…Too many people around here live with permanent blinders on, and God forbid if your opinion happens to disagree with theirs. They'll just point you down, and not bother to explain. Typical of this place, and I speak from experience.
I'll be spending my money to go see Atlas Shrugged this afternoon, instead of buying this book. Besides, I have enough "books" on the back of my toilet now.

The Right includes a lot of different viewpoints on how to deal with illegal immigration. I find that most people want the Border secure first, then look at our immigration laws, and then we can talk about the rest. You'll never pick up every illegal and deport them; I don't think it's physically possible. But you can certainly start doing that by getting rid of Special Order 40-type laws, E-verify, no welfare for illegals, Voter ID, securing the borders, etc. In other words, our first job should be to plug the holes. Then move on to the next step as to what to do with those that remain.
And I think that on the Right you have the "throw them all out permanently" all the way to, "well if the only crime they committed was crossing the border illegally then we'll see what to do about it – back of the line and fines or something".
But the point is – we should be able to have the discussion. And on the Right I've seen the discussion. You can't discuss it with the Left. So I think that perhaps we should learn to discuss amongst ourselves with civility.
And I don't doubt that Breitbart is open to the discussion more so than anyone on the Left.
I am reading the book now. I don't want it to end. I have been wondering about so many of the issues he addresses, and the coaching he provides for conservatives is probably exactly what we need to do.
Hello Andrew: Acorn is Alive and well in New Orleans. I spoke to you a while back. The Feds here are protecting them and Seiu is is shielding them here.They have taken their Real Estate, all 600 pieces that were donated to them by the City of New Orleans and they are hidden. The Feds know what they have done and do not care. If they are allowed to come back in any format and true strength, they will have the NOPD kill or arrest people like myself. They are a lot more dangerous than you think.

davidcoxe- Why don't you write an article on the ACORNs buying up 600 pieces of Real Estate that were donated to them by the City of New Orleans, so that the topic gets more outrage! I do not think that the Govt should be allowed to do that.
Also, our voter rolls across America still carry the fraudulant names that ACORN put there! I inquired about the purging of all the voter roles of obsolete or fraudulant voter names and they gave me some story about it having to be requested by the town. That was a stall tactic by Democrats. We the People need to straighten these things out!
I have written to more than a few reporters and Congressmen and even Mr Breitbart. I have given details on how the scam worked and who was involved and I have even gone with my Attorney to both the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's Office and nothing. I even gave them details on how Acorn set me up on Phony Rape charges here in New Orleans. Nothing. I spent 4 1/2 months in a cell in Louisiana on Bogus charges and I lost everything I owned. People I had known for 25 years left me to rot. I was beaten 3 times unconscious and was told to leave New Orleans and threatened..
Acorn and Seiu are very well protected and Breitbart knows just the surface of what these groups are up to but he is up to his ears in theories and does not have time to listen to me, and why should he?. I have spoken to him on the phone twice and even sent him details as he requested. Nothing.
Answer is Government and the Media already know. Too many people from HUD and the Justice department would go to jail. On the up side, people in the Real Estate Community all know me here in New Orleans. They know what was pulled on me because from time to time I would bring contracts to various offices here. They asked me and I told them what my arrest was all about. Every major real estate office here knows my story.
My fear is that if Obama gets re-elected in 2012, I am a dead man. Seiu will be Obamas brown shirts aka the SA. All I can promise myself is that I will not go quietly in the dark of night. I shall take 2 or 3 to hell with me when the time comes.
