Alert the Media: Ayers’ Claim He Wrote Obama’s ‘Dreams from My Father’ Is A Blockbuster Story

Anne Leary is a conservative blogger found at http://backyardconservative.blogspot.com/. She claims to have recently met Bill Ayers at the Reagan National Airport. She approached him and out of the blue, he claimed to have written Barack Obama’s bestseller Dreams from My Father. Was he joking? Serious?
I wanted to have Anne Leary on my radio show right away to see if she was reliable and to see what Ayers may have been trying to tell her. I have been actively tracking Jack Cashill’s investigation into the possibility Bill Ayers was Obama’s ghostwriter for Dreams. I was very skeptical of the story at first but Jack’s research and Christopher Andersen’s favorable book on the First Couple both supported that Ayers did, in fact, play a significant role in Obama’s book (which President Obama claims he wrote with no help).

When I saw Anne’s blog, it was important to verify her story and make an assessment of her report. My exclusive interview with her convinced me the conversation with Ayers was real, she reported it accurately and we have a blockbuster story on our hands.
Ayers didn’t just help with the book, it appears he took entire sections of his own past and transformed them into Obama life stories. Why is this important? If Barack Obama lied about writing Dreams, and if in fact an unrepentant terrorist and self-described communist did indeed write the book, then all claims by Barack Obama from the beginning must now be reexamined. Also, the left is already attacking the ghostwriter for Sarah Palin’s new book as a “racist.” Really? You want to compare ghostwriters? This is like Timothy McVeigh ghostwriting John McCain’s book.
Cashill’s research, Andersen’s book and Ayers statement have created an awkward moment for the media. Do they do their job or continue to deny their readers/viewers/listeners the truth? The President’s credibility is on the line. It demands our attention.

Jack Cashill has been all over this. His analysis clearly shows Dreams has Ayer's fingerprints all over it. I have no idea if Ayers literally wrote every word of it, but there's obviously a very strong connection.

Considering how Obama delegates his job to Congress and his lack of a published record when editor of the Harvard Law Review, it's perfectly consistent that his books would have been ghostwritten as well. He's the guy in school who does none of the work on a group project, but wants to lead the presentation to the class.

Have you tried to interview Ayers to confirm the story? If he’s willing to talk to a blogger who randomly approaches him in an airport maybe he is seeking publicity? Maybe he’s having some sort of falling out with Obama and is going “scorched earth?” A guy who would try and take down his own country would have no compunction about trying to take down an errant pupil deemed to have gotten too big for his britches. A guy like Ayers is going to have a huge ego and if he is feeling locked out after all the work he put into making Obama…well, it’s worth a try.

When obama's book came out there where a few literary scholars that ,after examing it came to the conculsion the "patter" was definitely NOT obama's but Ayer's. The syntax and the way it was written. Infact there is a site that has Ayer's writings and the style does match if anyone wants to compare the two.

Clearly Ayers was taunting Leary with the “And if you can prove it we can split the royalties.” He knows there is no way she or anyone else can prove it, and of course the royalties have already gone to Obama. Lloyd, don't get me wrong. I am not convinced. But I am not convinced because I refuse to buy Obama's book, thereby give him more of my hard earned money and then take my very personal time to read it and research pieces written by Ayers to look for "comparisons" in writing style.
I do believe that Barack H. Obama had a much more intimate relationship with William Ayers (based on the Valerie Jarrett connection, among other things) than he admitted to during the election. If you want to play the
"why would" game, why would Bill Ayers throw Barack H. Obama a "coming out" party it they only "served on a board together." if they did not have a history. Why would Bill Ayers tell some no name "reporter" in an airport that he was the ghostwriter for Obama's book? – Maybe because he knew no one would believe it and because he knew he could deny it later and never be proven wrong. Maybe he was just having a good time – true or not. We could play the maybe game all day long and not be any closer to the truth.
What I do know – Valerie Jarrett's parents and Bill Ayers' parents were "communist buddies". Valerie Jarrett is Barack H. Obama's "closest personal friend and advisor". Valerie Jarrett was responsible for the appointment of Van Jones – the now "ousted" green-jobs czar, another self-avowed communist.

Whatever the truth, the words jerk and chains are operational. Ayers, the jerk, should do us all a favor either back up his statements or withdraw them. But, being the jerk that he is, with his long-standing animus for conservative values, it is highly likely that he enjoys misleading people once again as to his role and actions in a matter of national concern. If he has any conscience he will disclose whether he lied to this blogger or was actually telling the truth. My hunch is that his sadistic tendencies will win and he will remain silent. I have read some essays are heard some talk radio on this story during the campaign. I think there is some strong points made for the argument that the traitor scumbag Ayers did ghostwrite Obama's puffery of an auto-biography.

The guerilla media are attracting unprecedented scrutiny, given its recent success. The establishment media libs are watching, closely. First, as Charles Johnson comments above, it’s McVeigh, not McVey! There are at least three sentences embedded in it, and they’re barely even being hinted at with the punctuation. The word "however" simply cannot be used, in its context, and in a sentence, without a comma, and it cannot start off a new thought without a period or semi-colon coming before it. I'm interested in this story, and am extremely sympathetic, but the way this story is written, it is coming off as rushed fodder for willing minds, and I am feeling tempted to resist it. Let's slow it down a bit, write with care, and stay out of the range of cheap shots at our intelligence, education, training, and thoroughness.
You should look up some of Obama's old poetry some time. It is ridiculously bad. In fact, having someone with a voice similar to Obama recite it would've been a stinging campaign ad.

There were a number of folks saying this months ago, based on Barry's empty head, and on literary forensics. The style, the idioms and some of the content of Barry's books are supposed to be quite similar to other of Ayers's writings. I have not read them myself, but anyone who doesn't mind giving these folks your time and money can look for yourself.
I think that was the plan to begin with but Ayer's thought he would be sleeping in the same bed with obama and would have his own desk in the Oval Office. Instead, he was publicly thrown under the bus. This can get interesting. Some would say it's a ploy but it was a spontaneous declaration. We'll see.

The thought has often occurred to us that the current Regime has at least one or two, maybe more, pathological narcissists who are literally (no pun intended) enjoying some INSIDE JOKES at the American public’s expense. Dreams from My Father in particular seems the PERFECT VEHICLE to be rife with “inside jokes” of a chilling sort. Remember, the author(s) wrote that the characters in the Dreams book are COMPOSITES, and it has always seemed as if the “FATHER” being described in the book is ALSO one of the COMPOSITE figures (possibly a conflation of Barak Senior and/or Frank Marshall Davis and/or Malcolm X and/or Louis Farrakhan?!). It struck us as VERY odd that the author(s) did NOT include Barak SENIOR in the list of family members to whom his so-called autobiography was DEDICATED. Nor was there any PHOTO of Barak Senior in the book (unless that unidentified black male child on the lap of an unidentified black woman MIGHT be Barak Senior)…
The point is: There is a disturbing sense that some SECRET JOKES are being enjoyed at OUR expense, and if this is actually true, we just might have ONE OR MORE SOCIOPATHS IN CHARGE AT THE WHITEHOUSE.
AND THAT THOUGHT IS ENOUGH TO SCARE THE BEJEEBERS OUT OF ALL OF US!

Take a step back and consider that there are two possibilties here:
1. Bill Ayers did not write 'Dreams from my Father'. He's just encouraging conspiracy theorists on the right to embrace a crazy idea that will serve to discredit them as 'right-wing nutjobs.' As the calls to see obama's birth certificate fade, he's trying to goad the same people into embracing another crazy theory destructive to conservatives. It's propaganda that serves his political ends. I mean come on, how does that sound to the standard middle-of-the-road American voter? Bill Ayers secretly wrote Obama's book? Right…. that's right up there with 'the CIA assassinated JFK', '9-11 was an inside job', and 'the moon-landing was a hoax.' Come on!
2. He actually did write Obama's book. And for some reason, he feels like revealing this to a random conservative blogger he meets in an airport. Totally out of character for the guy, a betrayal of his friend and of the most left-wing president to occupy the white house in decades, but he does it nonetheless… for some reason. But let's ignore the motive for the moment. If he wanted people to know, why doesn't he just call some reporters and go on record? And if he's too afraid to personally admit it to the world, why would he confide this to a conservative blogger unless he planned to supply them with evidence? So did he provide any evidence? Any early drafts of the manuscript with his notes all over it? Any 'follow the money' clues for how someone could reveal this conspiracy to the world without revealing himself as the one who gave it away? Not so much.
This story is dangerously close to becoming albatross for conservatives. Unless you can get an audio/video recording of Ayers admitting he wrote the book or some damning evidence that goes far beyond sentence structures in the manuscript, biggovernment.com should let this story go. It's a trap and you're falling right into it.
