I Condemn the NAACP: Call Me a Racist!
by Rich Holt
I condemn the NAACP. The NAACP has long been a renowned organization that fought for the rights and freedom of its members for generations. I think we had come to rely on its leadership to be the cornerstone of pushing the rights of minorities in our country.
It’s this record of service to our communities over its long history that makes the knife in our back that much sharper.
The NAACP no longer represents the impoverished minorities oppressed by the cruel boots of institutional racism. Today’s NAACP has a political agenda that aligns itself with progressivism, liberalism, socialism and — worst of all — a new kind of fascism. Anyone who disagrees with their agenda is a “racist.”
Well, NAACP, I’m a part of the tea party movement… Call me a racist!

I don't know how much more condemnation the NAACP will be able to take before they give up their stupid charade. Oh well, you do what you have to do for the democratic party.
just another 'tool' in the Progressive workshop…
NAACP stopped having real relevance when they stopped calling people 'colored'. It has been a tired anachronism for decades now, Julian Bond having left them in disrepute after his disingenuous tenure.
When you- we should say the Left- has absolutely nothing to say they will ALWAYS resort to the same cliche's-
Sexist, Racist, Homophobe.
Yawn…
You are a racist.
Well, at least to the NAACP and the old media, and the new media outlets controlled by the progressive/liberal/dem/RiNO/fools.
The NAACP now stands for the money and power of their leaders, as well as standing as an unwavering support for the Dems (a slam dunk).
A bad combination, unless you're into Chicago style politics.
Rich, thank you for standing up for truth.
I think the NAACP has gone the way of unions. They were good at one time in the past but have lost their way and gotten in bed with the wrong people.
I see a lot of brave men and women stepping up to the plate now,THANK YOU……………………………………
"Most people prefer to believe their leaders are just and fair even in the face of evidence to the contrary, because once a citizen acknowledges that the government under which they live is lying and corrupt, the citizen has to choose what he or she will do about it. To take action in the face of a corrupt government entails risks of harm to life and loved ones. To choose to do nothing is to surrender one’s self-image of standing for principles. Most people do not have the courage to face that choice. Hence, most propaganda is not designed to fool the critical thinker but only to give moral cowards an excuse not to think at all."

I condemn the NAACP for the "small minority" who are really giant flying insects with claws made of imported sheet metal that drop 50 lb bags of rice on squirrels every Thursday evening (except during Lent). They should distance themselves from these members as forcefully as possible.
This accusation of racism is simply obscene. This is their last bullet before their end in the garbage of history.
Civil unrest will be the result of these idiots: http://www.therightscoop.com/glenn-beck-when-the-...

Rich, welcome to the club! Our membership grows by leaps and bounds and is not limited by race or color or creed! You are more than welcome to enjoy the Tea Parties where we value common sense and personal effort to achieve success of the individual and our society. I must admit that developing a preference to being known as a racist is preferable to being known as a government teat sucker or carbuncle on societies backside!
I'm afraid it has nearly impervious hypocrisy crumple zones, in the form of a cowed/compliant MSM.
Frederick Douglass was referring to the Democrat party of his day,WOW,how things have stayed the same over time……….
Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe.
Frederick Douglass
Yep, union tactics. Do what we DEMAND, or deal with the consequences (boycotts, protests, and even violence).
It's your choice, _______ !
The old media will never dare show a black person, no matter how qualified and no matter how prestigious he/she is, being critical of the NAACP such as has many good honorable, laudable, and honest black men and women have done on this site, on Fox News, and through other media outlets.
It does not fit their message/agenda.
Golfing (all of the time)…parties (on Memorial Day, among others)…private concerts (on tax payer money)…basketball (on Monday afternoons)…vacations (several)…award ceremonies (for himself)…All on our dime, during one of the most difficult economic times since Jimmy Carter…He and Michelle just need to finalize it and actually say the words… "LET THEM EAT CAKE"…

Remember a better time? http://remembernovember.com/
I feel so sorry for what MLK would have to see what has happend to his beliefs.. Thew NAACP has so trampled his cause now… He promoted no vioIence in his cause .. I'm still wating to see the NAACP condemn the BBP for thier comments… guess they forget the hanging efugiesof Sarh Palin and George bush from the left …
amazing …. It jsut shows what they (NAACP) have become… Take away thier not for profit tax status !!!!!!
Did you watch Glenn Beck's program last night about black liberation theology and social justice? Mind blowing. The NAACP must now have joined Obama, Wright, Cone, the "new" Black Panthers, etc. on this monstrous brand of so-called Christianity that is trying to divide this country by race. This is truly frightening. Following is a link to the details if you didn’t see it:

Thank you Rich.
It's heart warming to see responsible people step forward to call out an obviously misguided NAACP.
It's getting real crowded under that bus
Here's another link. http://www.watchglennbeck.com/
Remember in November!
The politicians have mocked us, ignored us, denigrated and attacked us, and yet we have still made our mark in some key elections this year. The tea party movement began with a handful of brave citizens taking to the streets to protest the bailouts and the wasteful federal spending. It has emerged as a political force that is dominating the 2010 election cycle. You are a key part of this movement, and together we can deliver a big message in November that we have come to Take America Back!
I thank these posters for their patriotic duty BUT I condemn BG for continuing to play this game of the radical left and acknowledging a racist organization like the NAACP with post after post. BG known for blasting the left with their own words where are you? Instead of post after post about condemning NAACP thus giving them what they want (ability to blast each poster as a radical and an 'Uncle Tom' )why not go do some digging on their members as Im sure the RACIST material is out there of them and once and for all destroy that organization.
Im saddened to see BG fall for this trap of the left. You are feeding the animals instead of starving them and killing them with their own words. Understand these people are a virus, you cannot fight this disease through conventional means. Viruses like these are very resilient and very destructive. How do you fight this virus? You give it a "lethal dose" of is own medicine through http://www.savingtherepublic.com
The NAACP is robbing people of color of their freedom by tying them to their Radical Extremist Political causes. I don't think that is freedom. That is slavery all over again. Let your people go free.
Connie …. Shame on you….I know that you said it was better than being those other things but still a racist?
Now seriously the tea party gatherings I have attended I met just simply folks. Folks of all colors and heritage who just quite simply want Wash. to listen. It has absolutley not one thing to do with color heritage or anything else. Just hear us. US
As I said yesterday, I stopped all support to the NAACP and filed a DOJ complaint against them for voter intimidation and attempting to interfere with my right to freely associate with a political organization. I suggest that everyone else do the same. You can get the phone numbers and address at the DOJ web site.
After listening to Momma Obama I can't believe there are actually black conservitives that are successful. The mainstream media still has all you poh brothers down!! Thanks for speaking up. Together we will make America worth fighting for.
As far as BMartin1776, maybe it's time to get in the sandbox. Conservatives have always taken the high ground and look where that's got us. Maybe we should be the bully in the sandbox for once and kick some dirt in their eyes.
This country elected a rock star. What would you expect?
Fitting that the man in charge of NAACP is "Ben Jealous." He is indeed Jealous of those who have forgiven the sins of the past by all sides and moved on. He wants to bring back the sins "in our faces" even if they have long ago been dealt with.
Rosa Parks had to sit at the back. That is sad, and so is Rawanda, but it's not happening anymore. To move forward, we need to be forgiving and ask for forgiveness in turn.
So please, Ben Jealous, be "Jealous for G-d" and not for yourself. Forgive us for our ancestor's sins, and we'll forgive you and your ancestors for your sins, and we can move on with our lives.
Forgiveness is a catalyst creating the atmosphere necessary for a fresh start.
-Martin Luther King Jr. (R)
And yes, MLKJ would likely have not been a Tea Partier (he was a dedicated socialist like Jesse Jackson), but he was a fan of European-like socialism, not Marxism.
Thank you for speaking out. You are a great American.
OLJingoist, I think we are on the same page. Our club of racists is growing very quickly and the relevanace of the word degraded into nothingness by the actions of the NAACP and others who willingly cheapen our language. We get and want NO TAXPAYER MONIES vs the NAACP who has always had their hands out for Government and Corporate shakedowns. Talk about having become obsolete! I bet if I checked in the dictionary under OBSOLETE there would be the NAACP! As with many groups, people seeking control of others will go to great lengths to create an aura of individual and collective importance even to the point of hastening descent to irrelevance. Ego is not in short supply in the NAACP.
If I have truly offended you in any way, please accept my sincere apology. By the way, I had to look up your name in Merriam Webster and I LOVE IT!
The wheels on the bus go round and round, bump, round and round, bump,,,,,
I respectfully disagree. I, for one, am happy to meet these posters.
I respectfully disagree. I am happy to meet these posters.
What did the President do over the July 4th weekend? I do not recall him giving a speech or making any appearances. That makes sense, why would he celebrate our Independence, or any great American holiday for that matter?
Thank you, Mr. Holt.
Project 21 is the true future of America, not the racist hate of the current NAACP organization.
Long live Project 21!
Very encouraging to see so many courageous black Americans speaking out in favor of and as members of the Tea Party, I knew all black Americans weren't libs LOL…..
He cannot praise America, he does not believe what most Americans do. This is the disconnect, and his issue, and ours.
so true.. I watched and took notes.. doing some reading / research now on it… Oh boy what you can find!!!
No, Mr. Holt, you are not a racist. You are a proud American and I'm proud to support you and stand with you against the liberal left. Thank you for your comments.
Black Tea Patroits on Facebook !!!
wow such venomous animosity, I do at times oppose big government, and i very much like for transparency of government, but no you sir not a racist, just incredibly misguided as to the ideals on which this country was really founded. The United States of America's constitution was built to progress along with enlightenment. Hence the abolition of slavery, (which you my friend Mr. Holt have benefited from…) The founding fathers while not terribly liberal in the context of today's government intended to be the most progressive law makers on the planet in their day. They understood that taxes should go to their community, not be abolished all together. They knew they didn't know everything…. but they knew we (in the future) would as time went on…. so as we did learn we could add to the government's laws. Which, Mr. Holt, is why you count as more than 3/5s of a man in the eyes of today's government. I'd believe you'd think THAT were progress.
So while i would agree conservativism and liberalism in their purist state lack pragmatism, using those words as buzzwords to get people to agree with you is incredibly careless and quite naive. Mr. Holt no, you're not a racist. You are trying to be incendiary when its unnecessary. I feel that if you abhor progressivism after benefiting from it, you just look silly…
"Well, NAACP, I’m a part of the tea party movement… Call me a racist!"
I tried that once in the local student newspaper. I said something like, "If believing that everyone should be treated equally regardless of race makes me a racist, than I guess I am a racist."
Two days later some idiot wrote in calling me a racist. I don't know what's scarier for her future career, the possibility that she might not have understood the point I was trying to make… or the possibility that she did.
I agree, at this point I am ready to start saying "So What?" to the people that accuse me of being racist because I disagree w/policy. Kiss my Grits…
I wasn't offended just being a smart aleck The name was given to me by a liberal who was furious with me. So I took the name and made it mine.
THANK YOU, Mr. Holt, for standing up for TRUTH! God Bless You!!!
