Jefferson Memorial Disgraced by Code Pink’s Madea Benjamin and Nut Job Activists
by Rebel PunditThis video has been circulating around the Internet over that past week. It appears to be a situation of implied excessive police force against a simple harmless form of protest. However you can see Madea Benjamin (Co-Founder) of Code Pink appear in the video, and intentionally agitate the police officers on the scene.
The claim that this is somehow a violation of these individuals’ rights is a perversion of the First Amendment. The First Amendment does not grant the freedom to individuals to act like morons anywhere they wish at any time they please. The First Amendment says, the Congress has no authority to make laws regarding the freedom of speech, and the right of the people to peaceable assemble for a redress of grievances.
While there are examples of excessive police force in the United States of America, this simply is not one of them. The police in this video were doing their job. They clearly warned the people to stop what they were doing, in a memorial due only the highest respect of the citizens and guests of this nation who wish to visit it. It is highly doubtful Thomas Jefferson would have ever danced alongside these fools in order to prove a necessity for the freedom from the federal government to protest.
This event was staged to create the perception that these police were doing something unconstitutional by enforcing a law recently upheld by the U.S. Court of Appeals which includes dancing as a prohibited activity inside the monument, along with protesting, and other methods of drawing attention to oneself. It is not an example of a police state when people act out of control with the intent to get arrested and cause a scene while blatantly resisting arrest.
The only rights violated in this video, were those of the individuals trying to view and enjoy the monument in peace and quiet. The Jefferson Memorial is a place due the highest respect and admiration at all times. Code Pink, Madea Benjamin, and Adam Kokesh should be ashamed of themselves for disgracefully disrespecting such a sacred memorial to one of our country’s great founding fathers.

Pity they didn't have one of those pink bats from the Mothers' Day MLB games.
And this same sort of "setup" will begin to happen to Israel. Code Pink traveled to Egypt to teach them the tactics.
Poor poor victimized revolutionaries.
Here's your "Sign"…………….
Once again the Left reveals it has the mental capacity and the maturity of a 2 year old.
Oh and by the way, this "demonstration" is courtesy of RT (Russia Today) or as I like to call it KGB-TV.
Yeah the two dancing hippies were pretty pathetic. But the law is asinine. No -dancing-? The bicycle cop guy was at least polite I thought. (Though they do look silly in those helmets!) The knee in the back thing… At any rate, this isn't a super good example of police brutality but rather an example of a stupid law.
Think of all the wasted resources enforcing this stupidity. We have actual real serious issues going on and this is what we get?
That said, this particular law is just a drop in the bucket. How about some organized protesting of something really important? Like the TSA's "legal" sexual assault by groping? I think that's a tad more important than being able to dance in front of Jefferson's memorial.
I can't say for Medea Benjamin, but I heard Kokesh in an interview. And it was fully his intention to protest to a point where the police had to act. And he says he was deliberately silent, just dancing. Perhaps the extent to which they used their strength to subdue was a surprise. But it wasn't illegal. And many wouldn't think it excessive.
But the law he is challenging is pretty silly. Should the government describe or prescribe exactly what body motion is acceptable at that specific monument? What if he just waved his arms? What if he just high stepped with his hands at his side? Those who cannot see it as more senseless than meaningful or useful may be more influenced by other things. Like whether they like or dislike the perpetrators.
Dumb laws are dumb laws.
We need to build more "Arpio Tent Villages".
Jefferson did not write the Declaration of IndepenDANCE.
With regards to Code Pink, well, even a Blind Squirrel finds a nut every now and then.
Burning a United States Flag in Protest intentionally agitates me….. so, do I get to make a Citizens arrest and detain those in this Nation who do it?
The Supreme Court says I do not, is the High Court mistaken on this issue? Can the case be revisited now?
Funny. Very nicely done. I scanned to article for a typo before I "got it".
You da man Harry!
I'm an old Iggy & Stooges and Sex Pistols fan also. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIXg9KUiy00

LOL – That about sums it up!
Dancing is a crime in the US? A wacko group of right wing religious nuts can protest the funerals of fallen soldiers but if you dance in a memorial you will be sent to jail, are you f… ing kidding me?
And this site is siding with the arresting officers, for real?
Well, the Supremes should revisit Roe v Wade because DNA did not exist as evidence back then..
just sayin..
Susie Benjamin is a piece of work…
She took her first name from the Greek mythology of Madea, wife of Jason (of the Argonauts fame) who sought revenge on him by killing both of her children.
Nice.
When confronted with this fact, Susie does what she always does. Lies profusely. Instead of owning up to this proto feminist fantasy she demurrs and says 'one of her professors called her that, she didn't know what it meant, blah blah'. It is within this context that the rich jewish girl from Long Island began her career as a communist agitator. She now is behind the 'arab spring' and the so-called 'Peace Flotilla' with Billy Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn.
Anytime there is an agitator in the halls of congress it is one of her 'Code Pink' mafia, given access by stooge hack
John Conyers. This is a particularly noxious bunch- and the conduct here fits their M.O. …
You should be +2. My bad attila.
big picture…
do you want 'them' to make the top come down?
Roger that.
I'd also like to point out now for our viewers at home that if there is a Right to Abortion there is the same Right in Federal Law to dance Naked with Lit Sparklers up ones ass inside the Jefferson Memorial. Owing to the fact that there is no Right to Privacy in the U.S. Constitution.
The Right to Privacy is made up Liberal Law.
The Right to Peaceably Assemble and to Petition the Government for Redress of Grievances are very real Rights though.
I believe Roe v Wade will be overturned completely within this decade.
Medea Benjamin has done far more than just disgrace our founding fathers, she has directly insulted and spit in the faces of our troops.
I hope she burns when her time comes in a few short years right along with the rest of the hateful drug addled murder minded hippie burnouts of the 1960s..
This was nothing more than an organized flash mob disrupting the visitor’s rights not to be unnecessarily entangled in an obvious confrontation right under their children’s noses. If the "wacko group of right wing religious nuts" must keep their distance, then so should left wing socialist nuts. At least the "religious nuts" get permits.
Actually the law is quite explicit in its description, basically saying anything to draw attention to yourself that results in disturbing the sanctity of the monument for those who are there for reasons other than protest. Trust me, if I spent money to visit Washington, DC (and I have) and then have it disturbed by these numbnuts….well, let me put it this way, the protestors are not exactly endearing me to their cause. Then they might find themselves dealing with someone other than the police and I'm willing to take that chance.
As the days go by, this feminazi will just get uglier. It's what happens to the pathological left. They are so unhappy and so self loathing that dammit they are going to make the world pay for thier unhappiness.
I am also seriously appalled. I mean seriously, Jefferson wrote the bill of rights. Dancing….it's dancing. Flash mobs do much worse damage. Their master plan was dancing. He was going to dance until the police had to act. By not allowing them to peaceable assemble. The law is stupid, and one must make light of these things. What about the mothers who assembled in DC to drink raw milk. That also violates the law. The fact that they agree with the behavior makes me think twice about whether some posters here have actually read the constitution and know what it means. They sound like Lindsey Grahm saying "free speech is a nice idea, but we're in a war" You wouldn't know a constitutional government if it choke slammed your protest.
It's kind of like they are smacking you in the face with the good work they have done under your nose. We have voted along their intentions. How stupid we are.
Who is more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him? -Obi-Wan-Kenobi
There's no stoppin' the cretins from hoppin',
Ya gotta keep it beatin' for all the hoppin' cretins!
Creee-tan… creee-tan!
Gonna go for a whirl with my cretin girl,
My feet won't stop doin' the cretin hop!
Creee-tan… creee-tan!
One, two, three, four, cretins wanna hop some mo!
Four, five, six, seven, all good cretins go to heaven!
Nobody remembers disco. Everybody remembers the Ramones.
RIP John William Cummings, the band's lone conservative.
And best of thanks to you, Harry!
Thank you, I couldn't have said it better.
Hopefully this is the last time we hear you whining about how the government is taking away your freedoms.
The decision belongs within the states anyway. The feds have no right to regulate it one way or another. States can do as their constituents wish. NY and Ca will probably have them, but not TX etc.
The blithering never ends with these leftist twits.
It would be perfect if everyone would just point, and laugh.
Every action deserves an equal and appropriate reaction. Treat them as they deserve to be treated. That will send a message.
You're not allowed to have free speech in the memorial to Thomas Jefferson, the champion of free speech, I am at a complete loss.
These dancers didn't break the law. The Constitution guarantees them the freedom to do what they did. The First Amendment explicitly states that Congress shall pass no law abridging the freedom of speech, which means the law forbidding such a demonstration is itself illegal!!!!! Get it????
Sorry, I don't buy that description as being 'explicit'. What if I wore pink hair and bright yellow and orange clothes? What if an attractive young woman wore a Daisy Duke style outfit? What if my grandmother's hearing aid was mal-adjusted and rang out? What if a couple were loud talkers? Are we all in violation?? And on and on.
I'm not intending to be a joker. Rather I'm just pointing out how non-specific and in my view meaningless such language and laws are. If given the power, we would all like to control the behavior of people we don't like. But at some point it becomes impractical and silly. I don't know you, but perhaps you would in fact favor dress codes for such location in addition to ambiguous behavior codes.
What a stupid thing to protest when they could be human shields protecting the Muslim Brotherhood from Kadafi. That would be my protest choice for the creepy Medea and her crew. Wonder if the Code Pinkists also collect welfare, foodstamps, etc.,in addition to what they get from the leftists sickos of the world? Doubt they hold a real job.
"A wacko group of right wing religious nuts can protest the funerals of fallen soldiers…"
Not at the Jefferson Memorial they can't. And Freedom of Speech doesn't mean you have the right to say anything you want anywhere you want to say it. Stop acting like a bunch of babies and grow up.
why?? why is it, when we get something good going, conservatives f*** libertarians again, and make us side with the liberals. I am getting sick of this s*** Do you want constitutional government or not? This is called peaceably assembling. They are flaunting the fact that we are so worried about Obamacare's constitutionality, that we allowed them to completely outlaw something described in the first amendment, by the author of said amendment. Next time you say I want a constitutional government, consider what that means.
So ya think russia is laughing at us, because they got us to ban dancing? I bet there are plenty of old communists sitting at home with caviar saying, see I told you they would come around.
There are facebook events for the texas capitol to urge the senate to reconsider
Thank god their are still some people who understand how rights are being taken away with our consent.
I worked the Devo show in college. Surprisingly good. So were the B 52's and the Violent Fems.
I “experienced” Iggy and the Stooges at the Royal Oak Music Theater (small Mich. venue) 10 rows back center, circa 1978. Just out of Iggy’s spitting range during “I wanna be your dog”.
I believe it's you who needs to read the Bill of Rights. Here's the First Amendment for you…
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
Rules of behavior at a national monument isn't a Congressional abridgment of freedom of speech. They're perfectly free to dance. They just can't do it there. Besides, it's a MEMORIAL. Show a little decorum and respect.
To bring up MIA's and others who have defended freedom is a disgrace, why weren't these protesters in front of Obama's home protesting the use of drones or in front of the Syrian embassy protesting the use of the military against innocent protesters? Just a typical bunch of cowards who call themselves activists.
Who said anything about government? I'm all in favor of *private citizens* exercising their right peaceably to assemble, and pound those Code Pinko traitor c*nts into greasy red smears.
ok now I am going to quote your post here. or of the right of the people to peaceably assemble. here is some reading to help you understand what that means http://www.illinoisfirstamendmentcenter.com/assem... because you seem to have no clue what you are talking about. It's like you read the cliff notes for the constitution. It's the constitution, have some respect for the constraints on the government that wishes to subjugate you.
Not to mention providing a half-million dollars in aid to al-Qaeda- in Fallujah, in 2004!
actually it is meant to protect the speech that we hate. Because speech that we like requires no protection. Why on earth would you want to give the government precedent to infringe your first amendment rights?
So by protesting an unconstitutional law by dancing, you wish them to be arrested. I wonder what Obama will arrest people for when Obamacare gets in full swing. It's strange how easy it is to get people to give away their rights
You think that's bad? Try screaming at the top of your lungs in a library or a hospital. The Gestapo will throw you out so fast your head will spin!
WE ARE LIVING IN A NAZI POLICE STATE!
So the nation is facing insurmountable debt yet we can afford to have police arrest people for dancing. Ok whatever. By arresting these protesters and doing it with the force they did, they only accomplished the goal of the protesters for them. They should have ignored it and then there would be no story.
well then, carry on sir
I'm sorry but it is simply not right to tell citizens how to act in the Jefferson monument. A sign in the entrances explaining and suggesting that visitors show respect is appropriate. An arrest for folks causing a disturbance is also in line. The police in this case were doing their jobs but this is the only time in my life I agree with code pink ( it makes me ill to admit) . You would not wear flip flops and carry a boom box to church for a funeral and you wouldn't wear a bathing suit to court but it is not law. Laws are to make an orderly society not force obedience. We are supposd to be free in America. God granted us freedom not bureaucrats.
RAMONES ARE RACIST (S/C)
And they all worked undercover for the Ice Capades
They weren't peaceably assembling. They were there for the sole purpose of antagonizing the police and getting arrested. But that's moot because they weren't arrested for peaceably assembling, or for dancing, or for reeking of hash and patchouli. More likely they were arrested for refusing to leave when ordered to, causing a disturbance, and resisting arrest made it even worse. The Bill of Rights isn't a license to behave any way you want, any place you want.
Hey Administrator Person, what gives with the deleted Punk Rock Refs?
What a PERFECT NAME for conyers. Stooge.
Did you watch the video at all?? What does the cop tell them they are forbidden from doing. Dancing as a demonstration. Also known as a protest, which regardless of geography, is a right. You seem to be woefully misguided, you don't seem to understand the rights you have lost, are losing, and are actually arguing to have them taken.
Pretty pathetic attempt at getting publicity. They must have missed having their pictures taken and news stories mention their names.
Thats funny you bring that up, I am sure you agree with the supreme court allowing the police to kick your door down if they smell pot too eh? Who needs the 4th amendment. We are in a nazi police state. Who Is John Galt?
Johnny, Joey, Dee Dee, Tommy…
I'm one of the fools that proudly proclaims, 'The Ramones changed my life'!!!
It provided me an opportunity to live at The Masque!!!
Look Out Below!!!
If I hear once more yahoo say that they were arrested for dancing, I'm going to scream. THEY WERE NOT ARRESTED FOR DANCING. They were arrested for causing a disturbance in an area reserved for quiet reflection. They were roughed up not for doing the cha cha, but for resisting arrest. And they WANTED both of those things to happen because they took along cameras to record the event. So the hippies got arrested, and we got to see some hippies being roughed up. So everyone's happy. Why can't you just be happy with us?
Facebook is all part of the Progressive onslaught of America.
The point is by getting forcefully arrested they achieved their goals. Very effective protest.
It is not a dumb law. Those punks were there to cause problems and the police did their job. People have the right to visit sacred memorials without political protesters disrupting their visit. There are plenty of venues to protest and this isn't one of them. It was obvious that they were antagonizing the police- been there done that and paid the price. I just learned from my mistakes. BTW, it reminds me when I went to the OKC memorial and a family member wouldn't shut up as we walked through it, a very somber and quiet trek that should be observed as silently as possible. I had to let them know in a quiet and polite way to shut the hell up.
I remember Disco…
I remember peeing on their dance floor from the balcony of The Starwood!!!
"I went into the Starwood, everybody there said, it better be good." – The Dickies, I'm OK You're OK
so conservatives shouldn't use it to organize rallies to go to the texas capitol and tell the texas senate to tell the TSA to shove it? yea sounds like a genius plan.
Did you read the Appelate decision? I think not. It clears up your incorrect "non legal" description of the Park Services regulation. You really should read it. It is 19 pages and discusses both points of this article.
If you feel your rights have been violated and the courts do not agree there is still a remedy. Work to have Congress pass a law which removes the impediment! That is what our Constitution is about. We can legally change the rules but until such time the existing law stands. Go for it.
I guess what most dont understand is that it is a memorial not a dance hall ! Respect is what they lacked. Im glad they got a beatdown . Im not a big fan of police brutality but they were warned and didnt listen .
It may surprise you to hear I think these idiots are choosing the wrong battle. They are like petulant little children feigning ignorance of why they can't misbehave in public.
Honestly, the video crapped out right when the cops started to beat up the hippies, which is a downright shame. Maybe I can get it on DVD.
Anyway, there are restrictions on all our freedoms. That's not always a bad thing. Such restrictions keep "God Hates Fags" nuts out of military funerals, burning crosses out of public parks, and protesting hippies out of areas reserved for quiet reflection. I understand the left's constant drive to get arrested for public tantrums, but they don't need to turn the Jefferson Memorial (or any memorial) into a circus to do it. Find another national monument to dance the hoochie koo at. Like Cape Krusenstern, perhaps. Or better yet, by the stump where that Mojave Cross was chopped down by those Bill of Rights-loving lefties.
Dancing around is not considerate of other visitors. This is the kind of parsing and stupidity the National Lawyers Guild uses…and I was surprised these losers didn't start shouting "this..is..what ..democracy..looks ..like.. " so these creeps can feel good about themselves in the cuffs.
Now if these jerks were in power do you think you'd see democracy? Freedom? (Not if it upset THEM you would not!). These creeps don't know much about freedom and democracy.I doubt they care about MIA as much as that one loser was pretending to.
Left wingers are phony threw and threw.
This is not an Obama thingy!
On the other hand, I suspect that if the cops didn't arrest them at that point, they would've amped up the agitation. Maybe set some fires or tossed some rocks and good ol' Tommy J. That's typically how lefties "protest". So it's a good thing the police acted when they did.
Man, that is really a good one. Very well done. Awesome.
Madea Benjamin? She is hot – especially for her age.
Did you read the Appelate Court decision which was handed down May 17, 2011? It doesn't appear so.
Oh, so they can designate something paid for and maintenanced by tax dollars. When they provide their private money for it, they can call it private. Hmmm get rid of the parks dept and privatize the monuments….now we're onto something. The government is the opposite of private. It gets no right to privacy (classified documents are another issue for later) It must be black and white, no gray areas, because otherwise it can be re-interpreted. When in doubt, side with liberty.
I'm all for free speech and such, but when it infringes on my rights then you have crossed the line. what about all those families who may have traveled thousands of miles to enlighten themselves and their children in the history of this great nation only to be turned away because of some progressive/ liberal morons that seem to believe the rules and laws are for others, you know, the little people. they got exactly what the deserved and the police showed great restraint, especially when one cop was effecting an arrest on one of them and another guy tried to pull him away from the cop. Sorry, when a cop says your under arrest the game is over and you don't fight it or interfere.
the difference is you are not the government. Remember the 10th amendment: powers not granted to the federal government nor prohibited to the states by the Constitution are reserved, respectively, to the states or the people.
Remember who is in charge, the government does not have the right to do what you did, because you have not GIVEN them the right to do so. do not delegate your rights.
All I can say, and you can take it any way you want to, is that these goombahs acting like absolute dorks to be confrontational for no real reason whatsoever, are much preferable to the near riots that broke out in many cities over the Memorial Day weekend. What's the difference you ask? These clowns are mostly or all white (I didn't watch the whole video) The riots I note? Every one was composed of mostly blacks or latinos (again, from the videos I saw) Which do we prefer? A bunch of dorks dancing (loosly described) or a bunch of dorks smashing things and shooting people?
Otherwise…
Doesn't anyone remember the cops shooing away the young man who was singing the National Anthem (I think) on the bottom stairs of the same Memorial or maybe it was the Lincoln Memorial?
The point is, don't do it. No matter who you are or represent. Those are hallowed places.
Sorry, I respectfully disagree. If the police just looked the other way and allowed it then these clowns would have pushed it even further till the police would have to act. This was the whole reason for their stupidity, to have the police react and arrest them so they could once again play the victim/ racist card which these types throw around like so much confetti at a New York ticker tape parade.
I disagree, if they escalated their protest to the point of violence and vandalism they would lose the media portion of the battle as their credibility would be shot.
Your right and I wish more people had your insight to see this for what it really was.
Not if it was portrayed in the media as a reaction to police violence, which it always is.
Ummm…they were dancing. That was what they were arrested for.
You must be one ugly soul then if you cannot do better than this feminazi. But then again, Maybe it's the NAZI in her that turns you on.
Calm down….I'm being a bit of a devil’s advocate. Sort of like… you can’t yell “fire” in the theater. However, I do remember when they also made a group of people (school Trip?) stop reciting the Pledge of Allegiance (or something similarly patriotic). They stopped after being warned and were not arrested. Therefore we seem to have some broad code of decorum reserved for our National Mall, enforced by the permit process, and equally administered, politely, by the Park Police.
What makes D.C. awe inspiring is the quiet grandeur and larger than life respect it demands. (Compare Reagan’s send-off to Paul Wellstone’s). I personally would not like going to D.C. and be accosted by every little pissed off group at every place I go, banging gongs and spouting BS at my family through a megaphone. Administer full freedoms and I’ll give it a year until the Lincoln Memorial looks like Jim Morrison’s grave.
I think the Code Punks must have clued in to this post! All of the sudden I see a bunch of dinging going on.
Of course, none will actually comment to explain why they act like dorks. We are left to assume it's a mental condition that calls for a lobotomy.
"It is highly doubtful Thomas Jefferson would have ever danced alongside these fools in order to prove a necessity for the freedom from the federal government to protest."
Pretty much my argument right there.
You can't have respect for Jefferson and do a stupid flash dance at his memorial hoping to provoke police. Mutually exclusive. Thus, I have no sympathy for Code Pink, or their compatriots who claim to be libertarians.
Anyone who truly cherished our freedoms, and the founding fathers, wouldn't have dreamed of pulling such a childish stunt. And then there's the human decency thing. It's a holiday weekend, a patriotic holiday, there are families out there paying respect to Jefferson's ideals and they are greeted with THIS crap?
So what exactly is your argument?
Jefferson Said
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual."
There is a hard dychotomy there it is not black and white. One must choose weather the rights of the collective outshine the rights of the individual. that is a tough call. I would rather err on the side of the individual, the crowd will and does take care of itself. legislating "good behavior", "polite behavior", or "moral behavior" is the working capital of the tyrants of the world. Theocracies and totalitarian states will be happy to give you a long list of rules.
As for excessive violence a body slam to a marble floor qualifies as excessive force if it is inflicted on you. Yeah it couldn't happen to nicer people (Medea and Kokesh) BUT what if these were the folks that kept crossing the barriers when the swat team was called on the teapartiers. http://vodpod.com/watch/3514294-team-obama-calls-... Check out grama in the middle of the street in defiance of orders @2:06 do you think she would survive a body slam are you sure you want to encourage this response to passive resistence?
Thank you.
That's why it is up to the police who police the area. They make the call and are paid to do so. Sometimes they are wrong, but most of the time they are right, as I believe they are in this case.
So you are a go with the wind kinda guy right? Either you lean right or you lean left, what is with the big government vs. less government gig that would cause any thinking person to jump shark?
This is exactly how libertarians earned such a crummy reputation.
Do you really not see the game that is being rigged by the left? It's so obvious it's sickening and maddening that ANYONE could miss it! What these idiots do has nothing at all to do with our Constitution and everything to do with getting an emotional reaction – they are scum through and through.
That's funny, I don't recall the deluge of articles from the main street media pontificating on this violent extremism. Oh, I forgot, breaking the law is free speech when liberals do it. Imagine if Tea Partiers did this?
Have no doubt these people do not have the courage to stand in front of a violent dictator. Their principles and fortitude are not that strong.
I'm sorry but I have to call BS on the cops. The first couple that got arrested weren't disrupting anything. They were standing quietly holding each other and rocking back and forth. It's not clear if they were even part of the group that was there to protest. If the cops were allowed to or even able to exercise common sense this could have been avoided.
This is part of living in a "free" society. Sometimes people may behave like jackasses. That's the test. You may believe that people should be calm and respectful at the monument, they may not. Maybe they want to celebrate the founder by dancing. That may be how they express themselves. Or how they (dare I say it?) Pursue Happiness. Just because certain people find it obnoxious doesn't mean that they don't have the right to do it. This is how tyranny starts. Small. With little things. We lose freedom by degrees until we are so far gone that it requires a Revolution to change anything. This is also an example of the hypocrisy of the Right. We say we are for MORE freedom and SMALLER government. Looking at some of the comments on this post it seems people have forgotten that just because of who some the protesters were.
If you don't believe in freedom for all, you don't believe in freedom at all.
I know it's cliched now but think of the poem by Martin Niemöller:
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out —
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out —
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out —
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me — and there was no one left to speak for me.
And you wonder why you are so lightly regarded here……
LOL!
I am so sick of these people perverting free speech. They are loud mouth scum. The police did their jobs.
Whether or not I agree with the police actions, my problem is: Who in the h*ll would dance with Benjamin in public? She looks like a rodent foraging for food, and he looks like a closing time reject.
