I Condemn the NAACP: Get Back to Freedom
by R. Dozier Gray
I condemn the NAACP. I wish I could be surprised that the NAACP has passed a resolution condemning the tea party movement because of alleged racism. Unfortunately, I am not. But I really just don’t get it. It’s as if simply not being totally in the Obama camp makes one automatically anti-black.
The NAACP should, in my opinion, be about freedom of thought, expression and existence for all people. Instead, NAACP seems desirous of only protecting thought and expression that agrees with them. I think that is wrongheaded.

I have no ill will for blacks or any other skin tones. That is totally irrelevant in my life. I do resent those of any color or race who choose to get by in life riding the gravy train I am forced to pay for. I prefer to give monies I have earned by my labor to churches and groups and individuals that work to improve life for people and society.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
The tea party doesn't want to pit anybody against anybody. If the truth be known, tea party people, white people in this country — the vast, vast majority of them — are sick of this. They don't want all this acrimony and they don't think it's warranted anymore. The past is the past, and nobody can deny it, but it's not warranted anymore. You listen to Ben Jealous of the NAACP, and you would think that the Klan is still running the show. With a black man in the White House, the Klan's still running the country — and the Klan was all Democrats! Most people in this country want a unified country built on the concepts of American exceptionalism. I mean, it's not complicated at all. What makes it complicated is that certain black people have been raised and educated to think they have no chance in that America, which is contradicted by evidence.

The NAACP condemnations are coming in fast and furious. Wonder if they will lose any members from this.
Wake up, America. This is all about Black Liberation Theology- preached in the pulpit by Rev. (irreverent) Jeremiah Wright (spiritual leader for Obamao) and others- like Louis Farrakhan. It simply means that for the "white" (cracker) oppressors to be saved (as in by Christ) they must give everything they have ever earned to the "oppressed" (black folks). It is all a scam. They call it "social justice" (redistribution of wealth). It is just as racist as the KKK.
This admisntration plus Obama, Holder and Moochelle have set race relations back to pre-civil war status but that is their agenda. Shame on them!!! They prey on people who live in the ghettos and are on welfare and tell them they should expect entitlements and free this and that. On top of that, the NBP party is talking trouble on Martin Luther King day because there will be a Conservative rally on that day at the Lincoln Memorial.
Martin Luther King would spit on these NAACP and NBP for the rascism they espouse.
This resolution sends race relations back to the future, much to the delight of those whose livlihoods depend on keeping the issue alive. Would somebody please produce anything but anecdotal and unsubstantiated evidence that racism is endemic in the tea party? The NAACP can't, which undermines any respect they ever earned.
“Brevity is the soul of wit.”
“Wham bam thank you ma’am.” All that the NAACP cares about anymore is “what’s in it for me!”
Let's all just be Americans. Leave the hyphen out.
Not Actually Anyone Caring Particularly- NAACP…
Pardon us while we yawn. This is a soundbite, not a real policy by a real organization. Flailing uselessly- and futilely- at the Alinsky-proof Tea Party is making the Lef's heads explode. It's hard to mock and diminish 70 million people.
And they aren't succeeding…
Exactly SunshineConnie, we had all rather give to those WE deem as most deserving of our hard earned tax dollars. But of course the big problem with that is that the Democrats need all of that money so they can buy their votes with it.
This is the treatment we've been getting since beginning of the election. Any person or groups who disagree with Obama, or anything he approves of, have been labeled as racist without so much as a pause to consider. It's almost a reflex action these days. They don't even bother to argue the talking points before they launch into the character assaults.
The NAACP is basically taking a side swipe at the Tea Party movement without directly calling them all racists. Now they are saying that the movement itself provides fertile ground for racism as racist groups seek to infiltrate the ranks. But this, on the other hand, insinuates and precludes that the Tea Party members would by default ignore them rather than confront them as the NAACP has not done with the New Black Panther members.

Thanks Dozier…
No, don't condemn the NAACP. Instead offer pity and psychotic help for their mental disorder[s].
These principles are what the NAACP fools are calling racist:
Basic Tea Party 101 for candidates and elected officials:
* Be open and honest;
* Speak truthfully;
* Listen to and work for the people;
* Adhere to the Constitution and your oath of office;
* Secure our borders;
* Support smaller government;
* Lower taxes.
The very roots of what American government are suppose to be about!
Hope and Change!
Everyone hoped that Obama was going to be a post-racial President that would further unite America and lead us to brighter future. Instead he has become the most racist President that America has ever seen. Obama, Holder, Lee , Lewis have all shown their true colours and rather than moving forward to solve what ills America, have chosen to settle the old racial scores from centuries past….Very sad.
Judge a man (or woman) by the content of their character, not the color of their skin – this is an Alinski tactic; seperate, marginalize, ridicule. Facts don't even come into it.
Remember the template for 'Racism' in 'post racial' America. If you don't accept Obama as your savior, you are a racist.
If loving Obama is right, I'd rather be wrong.
I didn't vote for Obama and, believe me, was none too thrilled when he was elected. However, after he was in office for those first weeks, or maybe it was days… I hoped that we would, at last, heal some of the racial divide in our country. I thought that by electing a black president, we had shown we had grown. I was especially happy for young black kids who seemed so encouraged that a black man was president. How tragic, and really, how WICKED it is for Obama and the Democrats, to use race to divide us, and polarize us… even more than before he was elected. The innocent victims of HIS disdain for white Americans, are the blacks that had hoped the same as I did…that it was a new day concerning race. Obama has used the black community to advance his career (and pad his pockets) his entire adult life. He is determined to show "whitey" how evil we are…no matter the cost to the country most of us love. FLOTUS had an opportunity to help the young black kids in cities, who are killing each other and ruining their lives. She chose to plant a garden, show of her "guns" and tell America we are too fat and don't know how to eat… unless she designs our menu. Then, she shows up at the NAACP, and urges them to continue to be vigilant , ie, suspicious, angry, victims. It is vile, and if they stir up any violence it will not hurt them. It will play right into their plan to demonize and divide. However, it will harm an entire generation of the kids THEY CLAIM to care for , and profess to have committed their life's work for. What a crock. The whole thing makes me sick. I am not just angry at Obama, I am ashamed he is our president. Not because he is black, but because he is a lying, opportunistic phoney.
The black and white members in the Tea Party, and in America in general are interested in Freedom, and less Government Regulation, and a country free from Terrorists, and Socialism. A country with lower taxes, and jobs for Legal citizens, and less spending by the Fed.Govt., not by the color of anyone's skin.
The NAACP is just another bunch of racist thugs. I, too, repudiate and condemn them. They should be ashamed of themselves, but they seem to be lacking both the required character and self-awareness.
How easy it is to fabricate the Tea Party as "racist". All it takes is a few libs posing with posters with racist images and words on them…Voila! See world, the Tea Party is RACIST! (A few months ago they promised to try to infiltrate the movement). Funny how the MSM continues to carry their message despite the fact not a single speaker who speaks for the movement has uttered a word to suggest racism. It is all in an attempt to get the Tea Party on the defensive and off their message. The Democratic/Marxist machine is failing and they are grasping at anything now….Keep it up my American Cousins you are winning!!!!!!!!!!!
"psychotic help" really? not psychiatric?
Welcome to this Freedom Family! And God bless!
Thank you R for coming on here and taking the time let us know that you are a fellow American. I taught my children to never distinguish by skin color only by character and with the NAACP acting as it is, it's tough to understand why I made such an effort. I know why, because not all Black people subscribe to the NAACP and NBP the same as not all White people subscribe to the KKK.

And the hotbed for all of this going back to the 60s has been Chicago. What a surprise. This is all Chicago politics writ large.

Thank you, Mr. Gray for condemning this action by the NAACP.
I was always taught by my parents to never hate, and to treat all human beings equally, regardless of race, gender, religion, ethnicity, etc. As a result, my friends have always been what my parents called "The U.N.": Jewish, Canadian/Puerto Rican, Chinese, Korean, black, Indian, white (Italian, Polish, Irish, Heinz 57, etc.). Even my daughters' friends are not all white: black/white mix, Indian, Mexican-American, Asian and white. Not only that, but kids with parents of a differing political party (yup, some of my neighbor friends vote – egad! – Democrat!).
Cont'd
Whenver I hear those words by MLK, Jr., see what he went through to bring civil rights to blacks in this country, it makes me cry. It makes me cry because he did so much and after he died, they spit on his grave and turned to violence and victimhood. They gave into the Left, let the Left use them, and now they are reaping what they have sown – a community frought with all kinds of problems, including unwed mothers, gangs and drugs. Not all, of course, but I live in the L.A. area so I am not blind.
When I hear that disgusting man from the NBPP speak, it sickens me. Absolutely sickens me, as much as watching someone from the Klan speak, or even listening to Muslims speak about the West and other non-Muslims. It's nothing but HATE and it disgusts me to my very core.
We must stand together against this hate, as MLK, Jr. did – peacefully, in unity. And then we will prevail. Love will conquer all.

They tried the race card during the Presidential campaign, the election, and now any time a person disagrees with the President's policies. How disingenuous, misinformed. ignorant, intellectually dishonest, fraudulent, and shamefully shallow.
