The Tea Party vs. the Ruling Class
by Robert James BidinottoA talk Before a Tea Party rally sponsored by the Cecil County (Md.) Patriots in Elkton, Md., 10/23/10
Twenty months ago, on February 19, 2009, business reporter Rick Santelli of CNBC took to the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange to deliver his famous rant against government bail-outs, and call for “a Chicago tea party.”
Santelli may have sparked the Tea Party movement. But he only tapped into outrage that had been growing in many of us for decades.

For too long, you and I have watched helplessly as a clique of politicians, intellectuals, activists, and bureaucrats from both parties have tried to obliterate our Constitution, our capitalist system, and our personal liberty. This “bipartisan Ruling Class”—as scholar Angelo Codevilla describes it—sees itself as a moral, cultural, and intellectual elite. Codevilla says that “Today’s ruling class, from Boston to San Diego, was formed by an educational system that exposed them to the same ideas and gave them remarkably uniform guidance, as well as tastes and habits.”
Oozing sanctimonious arrogance, viewing the rest of us as coarse, unsophisticated rubes who cling bitterly to guns and bibles, this class seeks to impose its own supposedly superior values and visions upon the rest of us, by force of law.
As we know too well, the ultimate goal of our Ruling Class is power. They exist—not to produce, not to invent, not to create—but to manipulate and master others. Ronald Reagan memorably summed up the Ruling Class’s governing outlook this way: “If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.”
By contrast, the rest of us Americans seek power over circumstances, but not over each other. We acquire our personal sense of identity and self-esteem through productive work—not through imposing our will, values, and visions on our neighbors. We accept a “live and let live” philosophy.
This is the spirit embodied in our “Declaration of Independence.” That document was more than a declaration of political independence from our European rulers; it was a declaration of the moral independence of every human being. It was a declaration of each individual’s moral right to his own life, his own liberty, his own pursuit of happiness.
This is the vision enshrined in our Constitution. That governing framework grants to public officials only specific, enumerated, and narrowly limited powers. As James Madison and the other Framers made explicitly clear, the Constitution was intended—for the first time in human history—to bridle the authority of politicians and bureaucrats, and thus to protect the moral right of Americans to go about our lives without interference.
So, the Constitution imposes upon government officials a host of constraints: separations of powers, checks and balances, the Bill of Rights. By constraining government, citizens enjoy the fruits of freedom.
Which explains why, since the early twentieth-century Progressive Era, Ruling Class power-seekers have targeted the Constitution for annihilation. The regimes of Woodrow Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt subjected constitutional limitations on power to systematic, bipartisan attack. So did the “New Deal” of Franklin Roosevelt and the “Great Society” of Lyndon Johnson.
In our time, the clamor against individual rights and constitutional constraints on power has risen to a crescendo. And that is why we’re here. Today’s Ruling Class consists of the intellectual heirs of the earlier progressives. From Obama to McCain, from Arianna Huffington to David Gergen, from George Soros to Michael Bloomberg, our Beltway grandees continue to impart their wisdom and good taste upon us by law—telling us what to eat, what our children should learn and in what kind of schools, what vehicles we should travel in, what fuels should power them, where we should live, where our thermostats should be set, what we should grow, how we should use our land, with whom we should engage in business, what we should sell and at what prices, what portion of our earnings we may be allowed to keep, what “good causes” we must support, what language we must use in conversations about “sensitive” topics ranging from race to romance to religion, what medical coverage we must have, who must provide it, and at what price, and on, and on, and on.
It goes on without limit, because our Ruling Class accepts no limits, legal or moral, on its power to “do good” to us. We are mere mortar and bricks for their social engineering. Like missionaries visiting primitive tribes, they view us as savages, whom they must cage and civilize.
We see their boundless arrogance in Barack Obama, who tells his fellow Ruling Class members that “We are the ones we have been waiting for,” with his nose held so high in the air that any passing rainstorm would waterboard him. We see it in Senator John Kerry when, like some monarch, he refers to himself in the third person. We see it in Barney Frank, the only human on the planet who is able to strut even while sitting. We see it in Harry Reid, who told us the other day that, “But for me, we’d be in a world-wide depression.” We see it in Nancy Pelosi, who—when asked where in the Constitution was Congress granted the power to order us to buy health insurance—replied: “Are you serious? Are you serious?”
Never mind that the Ruling Class and its progressive policies have failed miserably to achieve their announced objectives. For more than a century, countless government programs have plundered untold trillions of dollars from taxpayers, then redirected them, supposedly to eradicate poverty, to end unemployment, to prevent disastrous business cycles, to put everyone in his own home.
But what do we see? Record levels of people on food stamps; soaring unemployment rates; a recession longer and deeper than any since the 1930s; a debacle in the housing market. Yet, what does the Ruling Class do in response? It demands more power to enact more of the same.
They say that a sure sign of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, while expecting a different outcome. By that criterion, progressives are bat-crap crazy.
But then, what are we, if we re-elect them?
Bad as this is, it is even more sickening to watch ambitious young men and women trying desperately to enter the Ruling Class, then rise through its corrupt ranks, in their lust for power and position. For an example, look no farther than our freshman congressman in Maryland’s First District. In his disgustingly dishonest campaign ads, as well as his voting record, Frank Kratovil has demonstrated that he’ll eagerly sell his soul for a seat at a Ruling Class table.
Mr. Kratovil has spent most of his campaign running away from his voting record—even from his party affiliation. From his ads, you would think he’s running as an “Independent,” not a Democrat. He demonstrates this independence by voting with his party 84.6 percent of the time—then accepting well over a million dollars in campaign contributions from party coffers.
Consider his votes on ObamaCare. Like Hamlet, Mr. Kratovil spent a year in anguished public indecision. This waffling persisted all the way to the last week before the final vote, while Nancy Pelosi collected the backing she needed to pass the bill. Then, after Pelosi had lined up enough support to let him off the hook, Kratovil first voted for ObamaCare to proceed to a final vote, then announced he would vote against the final bill on the floor. But since then, he has refused to back a bill to repeal ObamaCare.
Doing John Kerry one better, Kratovil was for ObamaCare before he was against it, before he was for it once again. This, he says, demonstrates his independence from the Democratic party line.
On the other big bills of the past two years—namely, the “stimulus” and “cap and tax” bills—this self-described “fiscal conservative” voted to add more than one-and-a-half trillion dollars to the government credit card. The stimulus boondoggle poured billions of tax dollars into pork projects for public-employee unions. Meanwhile, cap-and-tax was designed to clobber the oil, coal, and natural-gas industries, and to raise your energy costs $1600 per household. Kratovil voted for other earmarks and pork projects, too.
Two years ago, Frank Kratovil boarded a flight headed into Ruling Class territory. He’s well on his way—unless you cancel his flight on November 2nd.
Happily, I think that will happen. And it will happen to many other members of the self-appointed elite. Signs are everywhere that people are, at last, wising up and fighting back. Your presence here today is one of those signs.
Ladies and gentlemen, I’ve been paying close attention to politics since I was a teenager in the 1960s. I’ve never been so optimistic about America’s future—and you are a major reason for that. For nearly half a century, I wrote and preached about our lost liberties and endangered rights, feeling like a lonely voice in the wilderness. But now, millions of voices are carrying that message.
However, we can’t stop on November 2nd. Our next task must be to transform the Republican Party into something more than an auxiliary chapter of the Ruling Class clique. The GOP has pretended for decades to be the party of freedom, capitalism, and limited government. And it has betrayed those principles repeatedly.
But we have not just a political party, but a cultural legacy, to reclaim—a legacy often described as American individualism. From our nation’s earliest days, when our pioneer ancestors blazed trails through forbidding frontiers, we Americans have never viewed ourselves as victims of circumstances. Fiercely self-assertive, proudly independent, we, more than any other people on earth, view ourselves as masters of our fates, as captains of our souls.
The spirit of American individualism, and the moral quest for personal liberty, motivated the Founders to pledge their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to the cause. It is a cause for which many have fought and died, so that we don’t have to.
So, let us win a peaceful victory for that cause on November 2nd—and then, in the words of Washington, let us continue in the months and years ahead to raise a standard to which the wise and honest can repair.
Thank you.

Good one Robert. Hits all the buttons … The enemy of the people is the politburo in WDC.
We need structural change and get rid of the power concentrated in WDC … Repeal the 17th Amendment return Senate control to the States — End the unfunded mandate merry-go-round
Nine more days until we take our country back. And the sole reason is because of the Tea Party. Even the Republican Party needs to face up to this fact.
10,000,000 thumbs up Robert!
STANDING OVATION!!!
When we're done with the RNC, we're going after the DNC next.
Take note progressives, your "glory days" are numbered and you will be purged from every pocket of influence or dusty corner of power wherever it may exist in American society.
Count on it.
"cultural legacy"
I like that.
We're going to be fighting YEARS of political and social indoctrination. It won't be easy. In fact, November 3rd, we'll probably see a surge towards the left as the progressives scramble to keep their power base. Nothing as overt as an out an out war, but something far more subtle. See the Bush tax cuts expire, see new regulations on internet, radio, free speech.
The biggest mistake the progressives made is in underestimating the American people. If they could have waited another two generations, and furthered their political, educational program, then they very well might have succeeded.
It's all about control. If one wishes to hold our congressional members in check to do the will of the people, the paychecks for senators must be returned to the control of the state legislature and for house members to the various districts they represent. Simple matter of economics. If the voters don't like what their reps are doing, stop payment on their bloated paychecks. Now that's what representative govt is all about.
Mike, 2 Nov is just the start. It will take us until 2016 to clean out the garbage and vermin in congress. In the interim we need to recapture the education system to give our kids and grandkids the chance to not only survive but also succeed in latter years.

Great story. I feel as though if some become content again we will slip right back into where we were. The gifts of freedom need to preserve our liberties. Don't let up, prepare for an endless battle to restore our Constitution.
Nice article. Hit a lot of good points. Perhaps a refocus on where the blessings of liberty and our inalienable rights come from in the first place. Let us not forget out Creator. Okay? Because we must have faith that no matter what this world dishes out our Lord protects us. We will need that strength more than all the changes in Washington could ever offer. Faith in elections or men/women is an empty pursuit. It leaves one wanting. Does this go without saying?
We cant stop November 3rd, there is a lot more work to do to clean up this mess, it will be a ongoing battle.
Marching orders!
This will be a long process, and our vigilance will be required.
The tea party is the silent MAJORITY silent no more.
Good point, We need to educate our kids and then the electorate so that there is no backlash over the next 6 years. Unfortunately, some of the vermin you refer to is RINO or moderates — and that was my point, the Tea Party is what is exposing them and will backfill the spots as they are cleared out.
"We see their boundless arrogance …" and it won't stop until we vote them all OUT.
Thanks, Mr. Bidinotto. Excellent article.
We start Nov. 3
Like I've said for years, politics is show business for people with ambition but no talent, which is why the field is completely dominated by lawyers; and lawyers create nothing, produce nothing, and provide no essential service that a man can't live without. So, the ultimate goal of these critters is to be in the elite in congress, where they can self-actualize as the preening societal parasites that they are, replete with taxpayer-financed perks and fringe benefits that would have made Caesar blush.
Time to change that and return to the founder's ideal of the citizen who serves a term or two, and then goes home.
I grew up in Maryland's 1st Congressional District. The local politics have always been Democratic because there were always so many watermen and minorities on public relief (as it was called in those days). When I lived there with my wife and our house was burned to a cinder, we had food stamps – which the local Congressman called "Democrat Dollars". For most of my life it was a seat held by Republicans because nobody really trusted the Democrats to do the right thing. Then Republicans and Democrats became, more or less, the same thing and nobody would vote for a Republican again.
This is the legacy of that issue and the reason I agitated all through the spring and summer for the Tea Parties to walk away from the GOP altogether because the GOP is a lost cause. Many on this board, Townhall, IOWNTHEWORLD.COM, Daily Caller and American Spectator held me up to derision and stated I was too radical. "We are much better served by seeking changes inside the Republican Party," I was told. Now we hear the first distant rumblings of the coming betrayal and you better believe you and I are going to be betrayed and the reasons why are the same reasons I cited this spring and summer.
As long as they get your vote, they don't need to change anything and they will keep on stealing money – and make no mistake – stealing is what this is. They stole all of our money and now they are stealing our great-granchildren's money, but you want to reform the Republican Party. Question: can you reform a corpse too? When something is dead can you bring it back to life?
Second, you give them what they want – money. Whether you pay the lobbyist or make campaign contributions to the GOP or the Democratic Party, you are paying them to continue to put the screws to you. There's no getting around this fundamental issue. Like the vote issue, you pulling the lever for a candidate aligned with the Republican Party empowers this pathetic crew of liars, frauds and traitors to keep right on doing what they have been doing to us all along.
They go to Washington not to do good, but to do well and they accomplish that goal by getting your votes and your money. Ask yourself why should they change? As long as you are willing to back the lesser of two evils, the Republican Party hierarchy is happy to laugh down its shirtsleeves at us for pouring out record contributions to the benefit of their family's personal wealth and once you put your x in the box to vote for them, they can turn right around and start sending earmarks to buddies and voting on more ruling-class liberties that always come at a cost to ours.
When the election is over, here is what will we actually see:
(i) there will be no repeal of Obamacare and defunding it will be in name only and you will buy into the reasoning because you are too lazy to do the real homework necessary to understand how economics work – so you are victim waiting to be fleeced yet again.
(ii) the banking reforms mean a perpetual bailout that comes directly out of your pocket without Congress ever having to vote for it again. Now it is automatic and that means your real wages are going to go down as more and more wealth is automatically concentrated in the ruling-class' hands and in that of foreigners. We stopped accounting for Gross National Product (GNP) in 1991 to allow this to more easily happen as the ruling-class was terrified of the electorate's response as GNP tells us the real story of our economy, while GDP conveniently hides these facts.
(iii) Systemic unemployment won't go away because they aren't going to reduce spending – but con you with a "freeze" – at the current levels. So the economy will take at least 5 years to recover, assuming they don't increase spending which we all know they will do.
(iv) Now they have the ability to levy a tax without even asking you if it is okay – this tax is what you call "printing money", but it is being done by the Federal Reserve to give the government more money to spend but it destroys your purchasing power the same way a tax hike does.
Thank your local GOP for this – as you will note none of them really care about this and this is why as long as we are willing to give them our votes and money the GOP will continue to play us.
You heard it here first and I'll be back to say, "see I told you so."

There is an old saying in the hinterlands.
"Little man up Boss, Little man up".
By the time the elite ruling class figures this one out, it will be all over. All but the weeping, the wailing, and the gnashing of teeth.

This article is wrong! Liberals are trying to raise taxes and raise spending. Republicans voted against stimulus, Obamacare, etc, and even during Bush's reign, they supported less spending than Democrats (and they lowered taxes, for that matter). The problem isn't some class warfare against the "ruling class" (which has been successful by working hard and getting a good education, values we should support); the problem is liberals. Conservatives are right, and conservatives should take advantage of education and success as much as possible, because then they can learn the skills and gain the power to fight the liberals.
"…some of the vermin you refer to is RINO or moderates — and that was my point, the Tea Party is what is exposing them and will backfill the spots as they are cleared out. "
I agree. We need true American patriots in the seats of power.

Great article, great posts, and I think alot of you are tea party members making your voices heard. I am also a tea partier and couldn't be prouder. Americans have been underestimated, but also our concerns would have continued to be just concerns were it not for the internet. We have been given an opportunity that only 10 years ago would not have been possible. We have been given the opportunity to unite. Our numbers make us stronger. The post about educating our children on the gift of being an American is an important one. The principles of freedom and our country's history needs to be returned to the educational curriculum.
We must never stop. Why socialism rears its ugly head from time to time, I can't say–but it will.
Ah, another believer that lawyers are nothing more than parasites or tapeworms. Spot on. No lawyer should be allowed within 100 miles of the congress.
I agree the attacks are coming from the "ELITES"..how dare us under educated worker serfs challenge all they have worked for..We do not know what is good for us they do..It is a direct threat to their power..They have divided us into to groups to pit us against each other….And do you think for a moment that the rich politicians with their class warfare are not writing themselves and their buddies loop holes in the law…Look at the health care law…wrote themselves out of it..Its time for all Americans to wake up and run these corrupt pos out of town…
1) Term limits
2)Do not let them vote themselves in a pay raise or benefits
3)Take as much as a french fry from a special interest group and make it a felony…Jail for these scum
The timing was Providential. More and more people are learning more and more about the socialism/islamism/elitism conspiracy. We know what we know and we will stop them.
Keep it up and never let go.
Nice, Mr Bidinotto, very nice.
I especially enjoyed, "It goes on without limit because our Ruling Class accepts no limits, legal or moral,
on it's power to do good to us." Love that you said "DO GOOD TO US". Spot on, sir.
"They view us as savages, whom they must cage and civilize." Yes sir, correct you are, they demons-
trate their disdain for Joe Average every day.
And finally, "The GOP has pretended for decades to be the party of freedom, capitalism and limited gover-
ment." Now it is up to us, the TEA Party Patriots, to use the momentum we have gained from this absolute
disaster that has befallen us and wrest the GOP from the blue-haired, blue-blood RINO's who have
PRETENDED to be something they are NOT, for far too long.
FoP!!!
.
I do believe the TEA party can hijack the repub party and eventually the dims also. It's just a matter of time and effort. The American voters have been lax for over fifty years. However, they(we) – the sleeping tiger – have awakened, are flexing our muscles, and within the next 10 years will recapture congress and our government. The incentive is strong; it's based on individual and national survival.
We are going to give the repubs two years to begin the cleanup. They are on probation. If they don"t begin the good fight, we throw them onto the garbage heap in 2012, and elect those who will. After the Nov elections we will have a better picture as to what we must do in 2012. However with the current, narcissistic toddler in chief in office, the best the repubs and conservatives can do is hold the line until we replace the current squatter and gain an overwhelming majority of real conservatives.
Nice article. What I like about it most is what is doesn't say directly, "It is the people…"
It's the people (us) that vote. It's the people that we trust our youth to in education. It's the people our elected representatives nominate and appoint to federal courts. Our system has not broken down, we've just allowed bad people to drive for so long we aren't sure where we are.
Get rid of the bad people starting in November and then we can have an honest discussion as to where we are and need to be… And it will take time to clean this up (as in our children will still be working on it) as you can't, for example, fire federal judges… or can you?
Amen!!
The 17th Amendment has been wreaking all kinds of havoc by making the senators whore themselves out for votes like the representatives do, and that means they no longer act as an ambassador for their respective states, and protect their state from destructive federal policies. Oh yeah, repeal the 16th Amendment too!
"The tsunami will be glorious."
Only if all(100%) repubs and independents get off their duff and vote on 2 Nov regardless of weather conditions.
I support your ideas.
(previous post)
The Truth Very Well Said!
Bravo!!
Do you think 100 miiles is a safe enough distance!!!
We have to dump both sides of the evil coin (R's and D's) to get back our freedom. The difference between "total control" "D" and total control light "R" is exactly nothing.
The Tea Party folks are legitimate American PATRIOTS but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE watch the man and money behind the curtain. It is Republican, big time. Especially when assigned by the RNC to Tricky Dick Armey. He is a wolf in wolves clothing, no doubt.
Wait until the Liberal / Progressives realize that we intend to undo ,as much as possible, what they snuck in the back door to gain this control.
DISMANTLE THE BEUROCRACY
well this certainly isn't the way to do it….kids bused to a voting place then given only democratic ballots….hmmmm

Mr Bidinotto sums up my feelings of anger at the elitist ruling pigs on "Animal Farm".
“The natural liberty of man is to be free from any superior power on Earth, and not to be under the will or legislative authority of man, but only to have the law of nature for his rule." Sam Adams
What a great article. If we achieved everything stated by the Posters above, plus what Robert Bidinotto stated, we can return to that 'shining city on a hill!'
P.S. To Scott Ashjian in Nevada- Get out of the race!
Tea partiers just want to "live and let live". They correctly believe that the Declaration of Independence ensures each individual's "moral right to his own life, his own liberty, his own pursuit of happiness."
Does that mean that if Carl Paladino won in NY he'd allow a citizen to build a mosque in lower Manhattan? Hey, live and let live, right? And if Sharron Angle got elected she'd never think of stopping gay couples from marrying and adopting children. They have a moral right to pursue their own happiness, don't they?
I mean only sanctimonious, arrogant elitists would use the power of an elected position to tell others what they can and can't do because they think they know better.
To Scott Ashjian who is diluting Sharon Angle's votes in Nevada, against Harry Reid: Get out of the Race!
If you are a true Tea Party person, turn your votes over to Sharon Angle who is a Tea Party person. That will be the proof of who you REALLY are Ashjian. America is watching you.
Another example of why we must regain control of our public schools from the progressives.
Good idea.
Tea Party Candidate Christine O'Donnell, trying to break the Spell on Delaware. Trick or Treat It's your choice Delaware.
Chris Coons is running on the Real Time With Bill Maher Gag Reel Platform
Christine O'Donnell is running on the Fiscal Conservative Platform
I wonder which platform effects the tax payers in Delaware? I don't really wonder
http://youhavetobethistalltogoonthisride.blogspot...
We (the rabble) surround them!
After we take it back, they need to know we're watching them. That they work for US!
And somehow we need to take our schools back. We need to cut off their blood supply. People need to start considering home schooling and more conservative schools.
You are so right Mike. I am stunned (not really) that the fact that on THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS lately President Obama has omitted the reference to our Creator when quoting the Declaration of Independence has not received more coverage.
This is truly scary and one more reason we must fight the Progessives at every turn.
Totally awesome speech Robert!

Great post Robert. You summed it up well. I hope that the Republican party is paying attention. Some of them have already been handed their A&& on a platter. There will be more of them in the next election cycle if they don't do the citizens wil. We are not going to take it any longer.
The 17th Amendment made the ruling Senate and the Schumuer seat. Maybe we should put repealing on the tea party list. It has ruined out balance of control, which was the purpose.
The goals of the coming election this November 2nd and ,…
their successful execution will have been a walk in the park.
Eliminating the Democrat majorities in Congress is,……
really not going to be that difficult,…….
given the "accomplishments" of the Obama administration.
The real struggle will be 2012 Republican primaries.
Purging all remnants of RINOISM from the Republican Party,….
is paramount in order to successfully undertake the,……….
cleansing of our institutions of all things,…. ANTI,….. Judeo / Christian / American.
NO. How about not within the borders of North America.
Something about his tongue turning to fire perhaps? We can all see who his master is – and it isn't Christ. Keep in mind he is just the warm-up act for the one who comes as a morning star. Keep the faith, Rick.
"The Tea Party vs. The Ruling Class" — They're one in the same! Constantly trying to advocate a big government to restrict and regulate labor decisions, salary independence, Social Security individual accounts, paychecks and everything under the Sun so they can redistribute all of it to the "Ruling Class" they serve so well. Tea Party is re-packaged and re-branded Neo-cons trying to redistribute everything possible to the lobbyists and the ruling class they serve obediently who hide behind astro-turf PACS like Chamber of Commerce.
All efforts to stop the ruling class will be null and void and all for nothing until the people who make comments and replies on articles like this on this website start asking about Article 2 Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution for which Obama is very likely in violation of! You people will talk about this! You will talk about that! But you just don't have the courage to talk about the possibility that you have an illegal usurper occupying your White House! That is the most important issue in America right now, has been for two years now! And you people for some reason won't even raise the subject for discussion! There is strong evidence on the historical record of the United States of America that Obama fails to meet the qualifications to be president as required by Article 2 Section 1 and not because of the stupid birth certificate which many Obama supporters want you to think, but because of the interpretation of NATURAL BORN CITIZEN! There is evidence on the historical record that says the Founding Fathers meant Natural Born Citizen to be defined as being born to a mother and father both of whom are U.S. citizens at the time of birth! One reason for this is as the Commander in Chief of the nations military the Founding Fathers wanted presidents to be free of national conflict (which country is the president to be devoted too!) A president who is concerned for the well being of a country other than the United States is militarily conflicted should the U.S. engage in war with that other country! Obama's father was never a U.S. Citizen! As you have seen in the past with Obama…he is conflicted when it comes to making military decisions with the muslim world! Is he our president or is he the muslim world's president? This is why Natural Born Citizen is important and needs to be discussed by WE THE PEOPLE at a national level which right now is deliberately being prevented and has been since the last presidential election! WE NEED TO TALK!
Brewing for decades, and coming to a head Nov.2.2010. The rino purge was not a fluke, and the leftist massacre is, well, going to be a massacre……….
Come on,…Come on,….. there Syntax
you are going to have to do better than that,…
to earn your pay.
Why not try "racists" again,..?????
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their consciences."
C.S. Lewis
Amen! Nothing more need be said. It's all right there.
Good. The Tea Parties of America have opened up doors and minds to the fact that we the people can, and will have the last word. The will of the people will always prevail over the likes of George Soros Elitists, Unions, Special Interests, MSM Bong Smokers, and NAACP Hate Mongers etc.
Yes to God, Country and Family…
Synboy, if only you could pay attention to current events. The TEA party and ruling class are very different and rather obvious to see why. TEA party, is mainstream America, where party means nothing and revolves around small business and even smaller government. The ruling class want bigger government and have special interest and unions take control. In short for that, the unions, ruling class and big government politicians are the true Neo-cons.
Not to mention the Chamber of Commerce gives to both parties, yet its the Dems who receive even more from unions and progressive/socialist/communist groups to.
But going from your comment there, you have no clue what a Neo-con is, much less what is a true Marxist/Socialist. If you want to know where they are and who they are, just look at the people the president surrounds himself in his administration.

Even twenty more years, for our parents' generation to die off completely and most of my generation to grow too weak and tired to fight, and they would have had it for free. But never expect a bunch of manic adolescents to bide their time, they just couldn't stop themselves. Thank God for Obama, the Won who showed us The(ir) Way!
Until we vote them all out AND reduce the Federal bureaucracy to a size commensurate with the constitution. Say 10% of what it is, comprising a Defense Dept, Dept of State and maybe a limited Dept of Commerce and/or Interior.
They will be able to EFFECTIVELY defund Obamacare. They must also introduce bills to repeal it, force those to the floor, force a full debate and fight like tigers for repeal, and if The Won prevents repeal keep reminding everyone that he and more of his party need to be dumped in 2012. They must fight Bill and Hillary when they open their yaps, and remind one and all that Obamacare is also Hillarycare, given she will probably be the Dim candidate in 2012. Those who don't hold to this line and work to reduce the size and scope of government need to be purged in 2012, 2014, 2016 and on…
Where the Republican Party puts up Scozzafavas and the like we need to put up third party candidates – it's a war, not a single battle, that must be won. And do not by any means rule out an entire new party, if the Republicans can't be reformed. Maybe the Constitution Party, already existing and acceptable to most here, though as an apatheist I and some others might prefer a softer focus on the religious aspect, without denying the importance of healthy portions of thankfulness and humility or withholding a solid respect for the Christian roots of our culture.
We must utterly destroy the mindset of the so called "ruling class" and the systems and constraints put in place by those who "cling" to it.
Smart people always attempt to learn from their enemies' successes. Our enemy–the enemy of the USA–is the Left. So why has the Left been so successful over the last century (it goes all the way back to the Progressives)?
Because they have a long-term view. Take healthcare. Obama was very clear in the run-up to being elected that health insurance reform is merely a first step to total control over the healthcare system by DC. It might take 20 years or 40 years, but they are committed to every little step along the way to push healthcare into the State's hands. Even when it obviously fails (e.g. forcing acceptance of pre-existing condition coverage) their strategy succeeds because the retort to "it failed" is always "not enough government".
This is not a battle, it is not even a war. It will last longer than our lifetimes and probably longer than our children's lifetimes. Conservaties–formerly known as real liberals who support limited government and individual rights–need to do their own long march through the institutions in order to defeat the evil that is the Left.
A felony committed by a Federal elected official should be an automatic death penalty.
How 'bout we just hang them if they are caught in a corrupt act?
Clinton speaking at a Socialist rally, lockstep. Democrats = Socialists.

Vouchers, everywhere in the nation, with minimal strings attached (testing standards?), and with the money taken right out of the public school budgets.
That about sums it up.
Its too bad the left is filled with deniers about their true base.
It's very easy…I'm a union worker who voted democratically to elect my union leadership and salary independence. You would eliminate my freedom to have those abilities, force me to take a pay cut to minimum wage so the pay per hour difference could be redistributed to your ruling class you serve so well. And on top of that, you would abolish the minimum wage and force to make even less to redistribute even more of my money to the elites. You would allow big government to strip away everything I've worked hard to achieve because apparently, middle class Americans who actually work for a living aren't entitled to Capitalism based on your Socialist ideology and wealth welfare redistribution plans.
We are aware we might have an illegal President, but short of civil war he isn't going to get thrown out on that basis. He might get impeached and removed under Article 5, and once he is removed we might get access to the records he has suppressed, but otherwise we aren't going to get any proof.
By the way, Hawaii may not have been keeping good records when he was born (pre-statehood), and neither his father nor his mother is likely to have cared about birth records, so the lack of a good record might not be proof he wasn't born there. My wife's birth certificate was issued 15 months after her birth, in a 3rd world country, same era.
"Synboy, if only you could pay attention to current events." — I am! You believe in wealth elites welfare programs and believe Americans should lose labor independence, salary independence and Social Security trust accounts so that you can redistribute my earned money to the ruling class you feel should be perpetually on welfare. On top of having your big government to restrict and regulate my salary and labor independence and force me to take pay cuts to meet your ideological standards but you would abolish minimum wage to force me to make even less money and strip away from me everything I've worked hard to achieve believing in Capitalism so that I can be forced to conform to your ruling class welfare redistribution plans.
And more to follow.
Clinton speaking at a Socialist conference, lockstep. Absolutely sickening.

Give it a rest already. Besides, you know I never said any of that crap either, so dont put words in my mouth boy.
I never supported any welfare program of anykind, besides the welfare programs a liberal/Dem ideals. I dont think you are aware, but the liberals/progressives already redistribute wealth with the progressive income tax and that is money that comes out of everyones paychecks. Also you missed the fact that unions support big government like SEIU with Obama and the deals he got them.
This is what I believe in. Smaller government, less taxes/regulation, no public unions, an accountable government, spending cuts including entitlement programs, cutting worthless agencies(EPA,DOE), supporth business growth not punish it, personal responsibility, reading the bills before signing, and a govenment that is for the people by the people not people serving the damn elites.

Make the professors work! And I mean a full eight-hour day of teaching. That would also reduce the number of professors that a school needs. Liberals like to pontificate, they don't like to work.
I didn't know you were a tea Party member,…
had you figured out all wrong,…or,…..?????
somebody,…?????…… got something figured out wrong
In the 'search' option of this website, type the word "unions" and then click the search button and see for yourself wealth redistribution propaganda at it's finest. Those making over $ 1 million a year are heroes of Capitalism and belong on your welfare programs and those making less than a $ 1 million a year and actually do all the work are branded and demonized as Socialists and should be forced to pay all they make over to the ruling class you serve so well.
"but the liberals/progressives already redistribute wealth with the progressive income tax and that is money that comes out of everyones paychecks. Also you missed the fact that unions support big government like SEIU with Obama and the deals he got them." — Good and obedient you are repeating talking points from your ruling class masters and their highly paid TV personalities. Can I dare ask you to prove it? Of course you can with a link to more talking points from your masters and the comfy little biased media bubble you hide away in. It must be true because you repeat it so often and that always makes things true. More union bashing so you can beat the wealth redistribution drums against Unions to serve your elites.
Smaller government but you voted for George W. Bush…the largest expansion of our government in our Country's history.
:entitlement programs" — code talk for wealth redistribution. Take the milk from a starving baby's mouth to hand over to defense contractors. Pull the plug on Grandma and throw her out on the streets so you can redistribute her Social Security trust account to Wall Street.
Less taxes — Yes we know all about your less taxes idea. You want wars with Iraq and Iran and of course, you want everybody else to pay for it. Take what's theirs to pay for what you want and leave yours alone. That's what the ruling class promises you…they'll give you everything you could possibly want and they guarantee that everybody else will pay for it.
"supporth business growth not punish it" — Of course…let those elites you serve so well keep moving jobs out of our country and set up tax shelters in foreign countries while you get stuck having to pick up their slack. Just blame it on Democrats like Glenn Beck indoctrinated you to do. These large elites who screw you are your heroes and those who try to hold them accountable are Socialists. Duh!
"personal responsibility" — Like wanting everything under the Sun but making sure your taxes don't go up to pay for it? Making sure somebody else gets forced to pay for your responsibility? Lets invade Iran then! You refuse to pay for Iraq but your elite masters promise you that poor or unemployed people you never met and could give to sh#ts about will pay for your responsibility. They promise.
You are quite obedient, I'll give you that much.
"They will be able to EFFECTIVELY defund Obamacare."
We will need an overwhelming majority in the house to effectively defund BO care. We now have 178 seats. We will need at least 40 or more to keep the rinos and progs at bay.
"They must fight Bill and Hillary when they open their yaps, and remind one and all that Obamacare is also Hillarycare…."
If memory serves, the hildbeast entered the witless house(1st term for billy the letch) and immediately began to call for socialized medicine. It took the congress to tell Bill that we only needed one president at a time. She is as bad as BO. BTW, do we really want Bill anywhere near the oval office. I think not.
The repubs have been put on notice and the old boy club is going the way of the dinosaur. 2012 is the proof in the pudding for the ,establishment guys. Either they wake up or we will throw them out onto the garbage heap. They are going to learn that we voters are the boss or they're going to lose their meal ticket..
Who is "we" according to you? And of course he will never get thrown out and you know why? Because NOBODY TALKS ABOUT IT! And by the way….did you read my post? I said this is not about the "stupid" birth certificate! This is not about records! This is about what the Founding Fathers meant by Natural Born Citizen! There is a lot of evidence on the U.S. historical record including the words of Supreme Court Justice Morrison Waite in the 1874 case of Minor v Happersett that substantiates that the Founding Fathers meant Natural Born Citizen being defined as being born to a mother and father both of whom are U.S. Citizens at the time of birth! It is a well known fact that Obama's father was never a U.S. Citizen which disqualifies Obama from ever even having been a candidate to be president in the first place, but you nor I were ever told about that! This knowledge that I speak of came out later, after the election of 2008 (in my case, anyway. I did not know this before the election!) WE THE PEOPLE MUST STOP MAKING EXCUSES AND START TALKING ABOUT THIS VIOLATION OF THE U.S. CONSTITUTION!
That was no talkin about, Wilson a Dem progressive back at the turn of the century durning the progressive age. That is historic fact. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Progressive_tax
I actually never voted for Bush.
We can slowly phase out the entitlement programs, give the ones who need them now to keep them but slolwy phase out of the system to where it will come back to become personal responsibility again and less money taken out of peoples paychecks to.
I never said I wanted war, that was a big mistake there and it was never approved that made it even worse. Although by taxing less, businesses will grow and hire again, more jobs will come stateside instead of going overseas and our country will become industrialized again.
Beck has nothing to do with this. Its common sense. The less we punish our businesses the more likely they will stay here and hire here. DUH!
You dont get it, I pay for myself, I am responsible for myself. I am personally responsible. We need politicians who will take responsibility for their actions, not play the blame game. In order for personal responsibility, one needs to think for ones self. Its just too bad you dont seem capable of doing so.
I am only obedient to this country and God. I love this country, and dont want to see it become some third world hellhole that the progressives want.

Purging the DNC will take 10 times the committment and energy since they are 10 times as corrupt – especially morally.

"So, as we begin, let us take inventory. We are a nation that has a government – not the other way around. And this makes us special among the nations of the earth. Our government has no power except that granted it by the people. It is time to check and reverse the growth of government, which shows signs of having grown beyond the consent of the governed."

November 2nd -coming soon to a theater near you…
The thing we've found out is, the "Harvard elites" are not very bright. Although the liberals and their media lapdogs will continue to ridicule and call the politicians they don't like as being stupid, the reality for all to see is the lack of knowledge the supposedly well educated have shown since the election. We have to pass a bill to see what's in it? Can't answer what area of the Constitution allows them to force people to buy insurance? They have no answers. Don't respect them, they're not as smart as you. Any of you.
Down with Ellsworth Toohey, up with Thomas Jefferson!
Just in case anyone here is wondering who Ellsworth Toohey is:
