I live in California. We're not allowed to vote in the GOP primaries or general election.
Where do I go for live chat during debate?
Umm, I'm not gonna watch.
But I guess that's not a productive comment.
Oh well.
Wonder if Newt will talk about how FDR is his favorite President, or Romney will discuss the 150 boxes of records he destroyed after his stint as Governor? This election, IF there is one and Obama doesn't go full on scorched earth will be the single most important thing an American Patriot can do.
It's tonight's episode of American Idol – The Election Edition……
I heard some poll said that Mr. Huntsman was the most conservative. Hilarious.
As we all sit through another round of 'election reality TV', let's remember, rote facts and sound bites do not make a good president. They make the dysfunctional president we now have.
No single person can know every fact and every decision.
Yet, that media standard is the definitive, ugly drama we suffer through, every time we see these debates. All of our picks are gleefully dissected by the MSM hyenas and splayed out to be dried and dispersed. Please… just pick a good person who can delegate and trust others they know. Not by just what they say, but WHO they trust, with your consent, to advise them, surround them and help them make decisions to fix our situation.
The current POTUS has been doing this, with a gang of thugs. A new president could be doing this with a team to reinvigorate our country.
There will be many, maaaaaaannnnny Union members who will vote for us here…………whether we want them to or not.
I hope that Fox does not try to get the candidates to attack each other with BS questions. Let the true character of the candidates come out with insightful and informative answers to what is ailing our country right now.
I'm SOOO glad Sarah decided not to run…
Just look at all the "winners" we have to choose from now…
Watch and Live Chat Tonight! GOP Debate From Iowa

RON PAUL all the way!!!!
http://www.wnyc.org/articles/its-free-country/201...
Anybody But oBAMA……
Not much of a Beck fan anymore.
He has his good points, as well as his bad, as I am sure we all do, but in my opinion, Beck has been on the vanguard sounding the alarm pertaining to Newt and his Progressive ideas, following Roosevelt as his favorite President.
(Yeah, I know, and am well aware that there is no love lost between Breitbart and Beck, but I still give credit where it is due).
I wish I could trust newt.
I can't.
I won't.
He is the consummate insider.
The many years that he has been "in the lop" tells me that he is not part of the solution, he is part of the problem.
Cain is gone. I liked him.
I reckon I'll have to go back to my original favorite.
Michelle Bachmann.
Ron Paul's biggest obstacle to the GOP nomination has always been…
Ron Paul.
His ideas on the economy and personal liberty are sound. His foreign policy can not work unless and until his economic policies and views on liberty were widely accepted and practiced in law.
He fails to emphasize how a strong America with a sound, stable economy would be a wrecking ball of a foreign policy in and of itself.
IF we had sound money and nations like China continued to float their currency in the absence of a continually devalued dollar they would crash worse than they will already.
A shame he is unable to make the case in an articulate and comprehensive enough manner. A real winner might adopt it and have a chance for victory…
Vote Paul and Obama wins.
You raise some valid observations.
That's right , Ron………..except the Generic Republican is beating all you guys against Obama.
i know.. it's kinda hard with not having Cain in there anymore.. I'm actually leaning toward Santorum since Cain pulled out.
He says lots of the right things.. hes a solid conservative, but I don't know if he's got the "public appeal' to get the needed votes.
Cauvauto asks Rick Perry about his debate capabilities. Perry Brings up TEBOW
wow.
says he hopes he is the Tim Tebow of Iowa. Dear gawd I bet Tebow will be horrified. lol
Huntsman just pounded the Donald. lol
Right outta the gates we are talking the Donald and Tebow, lmao
Plastic man is talking about the "horrors" of a possible government shut down. A gov. shutdown would save the world, but it ain't happenin! Wish they would shut off the fear mongering.
"85% democrat legislature"
Wahh!!!
Whatever, Willard…
Before the debate began, Megan Kelly was complaining about the candidates not answering their questions. I see they are asking viewing to tweet #answer or #dodge as to how well the candidates answer the questions. Frankly, I think Kelly is missing the point and has an overblown sense of her own importance.
I like it when the candidates sidestep the question and talk about what they want to talk about. Panelist questions are often too narrowly defined or lame. I want to know these candidates, not the panelists asking the questions.
Everyone makes mistakes…
Ron Pauls 'Speedometer' below the video @ http://live.foxnews.com/ is at 'ludicrous speed'. (get it)?
O God Rick. First he wants to get it on with obama and than he compares himself to tim tebow. haha
The Fox commercial break guys support newt like a gay guy cups his partners balls
Newt talking about how great big government is. Why do RINOS keep trying to tell us he is a conservative?
Bachmann just ripped him a new one, Newt continues to pat himself on the back…
Newt''s shot himself in the foot more than a couple of times during this portion of the debate.
Thank you, Cowboy, for saying that.
I feel the same way. And……
I am just plain tired of all these boys.
Michelle Bachman.
Poor Ron is up for an ambush. Getting money back for your district is the MORAL thing to do. MORE moral would be to stop taking it FROM the district in the first place.
BS question, false premise…
Good answer, but could have been better…
One trick Rick…
DC will never be a "part time" town.
I'd vote for Rick Perry based just on that brilliant idea of a part-time Congress. The best part about it: Let them go home and work for a living like everybody else."
i wish the Paul supporters would realize his earmark argument is bogus… he stuffs bills he knows are going to pass with earmarks, then he doesnt have to vote for them, because he already knows they're going to get through, so he doesnt have to…
The paulbots were out in force marking paul's meter up and everyone else's down, even before the debate was hardly started.
I watched the meters as they changed.
Yes sir, everyone must keep their eyes on the prize!
Skippy Santorum: How is a regulation NOT a law? Since they are not "laws" is it okay to ignore them?
Wow. I really think Newt just torpedoed himself with those "government has a responsibility to help people own homes" stuff. And he kept going with it. Wow.
Gingrich just said a whole lot of nothing that sounded really smart. I agree that our courts are completely corrupt, but he should be talking about Nullification, not more red tape and 'crats for Judges to "answer to"- talk about potential for complete corruption…. Give the power back to the juries, tell the judges to reside, not decide….
Bring on the "Star Chambers'… that entire theory by Gingrich is so dangerous it's beyond belief… Does the 9th court go too far? Absolutely.. but to completely demolish a court system?
Paul's 100% right on this one…
Even Fox is giving Mitt the "Obama treatment". Must be nice to be the "chosen one". With everyone blocking a chimp would have a 60 point lead by now, why is Mitt still below 30?
Paul saying exactly what I was thinking….
You missed his point: He does the earmarks in an attempt to recover the money paid by the constituents of his district. Since I do not know his voting record I will simply say that voting against the budget is consistent – not hypocritical – within his philosophy.
Say you opposed Social Security. You still have it withheld from your earnings. It IS your money. Are you a hypocrite for cashing the check, or are you upholding your own moral obligation to recover the money that was wrongly taken from you in the first place? No different…
MystWlker – Accomplished PaulBot Stalker
Ron Paul, the government took your dog,and you had the nerve to ask for your dog back, the government sent you back the tail, and you took it,shame on you!
Why is the leftist plant Huntsman still in this race?
Geezooo no kidding. How could Gingrich get any scarier? This is the first I have heard of this, and glad Fox brought this to the publics attention. How can these talking heads and shock jocks actually like this dude and continue to push him on Republicans? Limbaugh, Hannity, all of them have been on rants lately pushing these big government liberals and tyrants. It's sickening.
Okay. What was up with that moronic "Popular Vote!" tv ad just now??
CL is NOT 76… I know it seems like he has been around forever at times, but I would lean more toward mid-50s…
Ron Paul? I didn't attack him (not so much), I just think someone other than him will need to better articulate those ideas. His foreign policy is NOT workable in our current environment… Reread my original post and tell me what I don't understand in terms of his general philosophy…
I was on the fence with Gingrich, but when he defends jackson's attempt to dismantle the court system, when he defends FDR's attempt to "pack" the supreme court…
He just lost me altogether.
I was on the fence with Gingrich, but when he defends jackson's attempt to dismantle the court system, when he defends FDR's attempt to "pack" the supreme court…
He just lost me altogether. (and I was not happy that MB sided with him on that debate point)
Paul, Romney, and Santorum (when given the chance) gave the right responses.
Before taking too big a whack at Gingrich and his past "liberalism", you might want to read an account from the inside. His chief spokesman was Tony Blankley, and he has written a column on the issue today at TownHall.com. There are real considerations when you view the Gingrich record, and it includes the best methods of handling a precarious majority to get what you want most of the time. Tony's description of Gingrich having to give to the northeastern liberal Republicans in order to push the conservative agenda is right on the mark. When deciding who to put in the White House, you might want to consider these qualities. I worked with Tony Blankley when we were on the staff of a conservative California Republican, and we've been friends a long time. He knows what he's talking about. Here is the link: http://townhall.com/columnists/tonyblankley/2011/...
WOO-HOO!!! Talk to 'em first, get rid of the nuke program and then kill 'em!
GO RON PAUL!!!
Let's hope you are being sarcastic. He has a point. The MIC did just that to Libya, so why in God's name would Iran do that to themselves. Do you think the Persians are stupid? They want to be able to defend themselves, and an armed society is a polite society.
I don't find death and destruction of innocent women and children to be a laughing matter at all.
If we had debates like this in 08 Obama would still be a 3rd rate Rep. in Chigago.
George W. Santorum?
I have seen Blakely in person at a seminar. He is about as "conservative" as Romney, not quite as "conservative" as Newt World Order
"From 9 ships to 15…"
Well golly-gee Willard, I had NO IDEA we had cut back that far…
We can't get through a debate w/o your run o' the mill fear mongering and Glenn Beck's "Calliphate" stuff.
Ron Paul once again explaining to others what blowback is as described in the 9/11 commission report and by the CIA.
Once again the "mad man" stuff. Ron Paul calls her out. I am willing to bet that he is absolutely correct on that matter
Bachmann actually said 'I STAND ON THE SIDE OF PEACE'.
She will get NAILED for that one, hah!!!
"i come in peace…"
Tony Blankley is very conservative. You used the name Blakely. Was that a typo or were you referring to a different person?
typical rue paul cultist, ignore the issue and try to attack the person who raised it instead
Gingrich is the consummate insider. I still can't get past all the blunders he's made since he was Speaker — sitting w/ Pelosi asking the gov to "do something" about climate change. Supporting Hillary Clinton in her run up for the D nomination in 08, his continued support for an individual mandate, support for ethanol subsidies. He flip-flopped on Libya in less than 2 weeks.
Sorry. I've seen all I need to see of that man, and I'm not impressed.
no dice., ,Veritas.. THE IAEA Is NOT THE UN…
2) the Russians put missiles in Cuba because Kennedy looked WEAK to the Russians., and the Kennedy policy is what Paul wants to go back to? Its the 21st century, not 1960's.
Scrap the U.N.!
Totally immoral to the core and a bad idea to begin with.
It elevated the status of dictators to one of equal status to countries with legitimately elected government.
Agreed, And, the Iranians are not the Soviets. Ron's made that comparison before and it's a bad one.
I was surprised that Newt and Huntsman seemed to agree there was a place for the UN…
Ya, but Sara still scares the hell out of those unAmerican Libtards.
What? You mean you don't like that awesome idea of an International Climate Court ??
: P..:'
I'll have to look in to that, but regardless who said it, who the hell are they? Aren't they a government agency? Who controls them? The central banks and War Inc? That's who owns the UN and the current admin thinks these kinds of "groups" run us…
The difference is the Soviets were (and still are) armed to the hilt. We treat them differently. It amazes me that humans think other humans don't strive for life.
YES!! a Fast and Furious question… Did Megan just give Holder a pass on FnF???
Perry sounds just like GHWB in 2002. I mean, the same accent, the same looks, the same everything. He is like a clone. Annnnd he is a big backer of the Trans Texas Corridor, NAFTA, and funds for illegals. He is a joke when he talks about securing the border, he just wants his own drones so he can hunt American "cow thieves".
Newt World Order pushing the National ID, and E-Verify that is a JOKE b/c it is government subsidzied and doesn't screen for identity theft. Ie, it is useless. He and Nancy Pelosi once again "crossing the aisle" for the National ID and E-Verify.
He is a tyrant.
While discussing Iran Ron Paul asked "who is going to take care of the people" because we spend too much on defense and wars.
I didn't know that the government was supposed to take care of us…a strong defense is one of the only ways that the government is supposed to "take care of the people".
http://www.politiseeds.com
dont we already have Green Cards and H1-B visas… so romney's idea… "More pointless paperwork"?
Stupid response by Romney on that one..
Gingrich might have saved himself a "little" bit with this comment about the lawsuits against AZ, SC, AL, and the removall of all funds for sanctuary cities.
Evn'n Sisty,
I gotta be careful commenting. I "upgraded" my i-net connection, but it seems the only thing it does twice as fast tonight is crash…
Oh, and : P…:' backa'cha…
I am speaking of the bigger dark headed man with the very distinct chin. I apologize that I don't know how to spell his name. But yes, he gives talks all over the country and talks politics. He is a business man no doubt, but that doesn't make him conservative. I do think we are speaking of the same man.
Gay rights? Really?
I predict that the election WILL NOT hinge on this issue.
Romney showing his flip-floppedness over and over with this batch of questions…
Ron Paulbot's in the audience shouting out with Glee……….*rolleyes* Ms. Bachmann is not this astute, someone fronted her these question's guarantee. Romney is everyone's darling, being shield as alway's. Perry just stands there and volley's his answer's. Santorum, Bachmann and Paul your attack pack…. was-it paid with Romney money or Beck's? Huntsman, I forgot is still in the race. Gingrich who is hated the most, reminds me a lot of Gov. Palin, deserves far more credit then he gets. Yes, they both are under estimated by their merit and achievements.
I grade this debate with a B= Boring! It's just not the same with-out Mr. Cain…. *SIGH*
Yep. Their usual M.O.
Oooh! Abortion…
ANOTHER issue that WON"T decide the election…
Or likely even have much influence on the selection of the eventual nominee…
Look at his photos and let me know. The term "businessman" is pretty inexact. He is Executive Vice President of Edelman Public Relations. Hs books are The West's Last Chance: Will We Win the Clash of Civilizations? and American Grit: What It Will Take to Survive and Win in the 21st century. Let me know if this is the same man.
Bachmann just POUNDED Gingrich on abortion and slipped in a subliminal "i'm a woman/I'm a serious" candidate jab..
He fumbled his answer, cause he couldn't deny her claims. He dodged that one well. That man is a true politician. One of the best I've seen, if you aren't sure what your looking at or listening to.
Yep. Their usual method.
I think the problem with Ron making an analogy between the situation with the Soviets and the one with Iran is a more abstract problem. The Soviets were political idealogs who were willing to play nuclear chicken with us……..a form of pragmatism on their part, because they were not willing to be the ones driving off the cliff.
The Iranians (the Mullahs) are zealots. They don't have a pragmatic orientation in this world, it's in the next. Their world view demands a man made armageddon as a prerequisite to the coming of the 12th Imam. Their idea of the game of chicken is if everyone drives off the cliff.
The mutual deterrence strategy of the Cold War worked because each side wanted to live. The Mullahs are of the attitude "So what if we start a nuclear war". After everything is dead the "true faith" will rule.
The ball, a nuke, would be the same, but the game would be entirely different.
I'm with you, Cowboy. If Bachmann or Santorum is still in the hunt when my primary rolls around in March, I'll vote for one of them, but if it's already been narrowed down to Newt or Mitt, I'm going to have to go with Mitt. I just don't trust Newt.
Oh please. Black helicopter fantasies. Grow up.
Nice one!
BIG 10-4.
GREAT DEBATE !
You love Nancy Pelosi. That is the REAL conspiracy around here…
Like clockwork, you come in AFTER the debate to troll comments made during the debate.
It sucks.
I'm dropping my connection constantly too but, we're having thunderstorms.
All this social conservative BS that Bachmann and Santorum are pushing is not going to help. I like both of them in most respects, but all this talk about abortion rights is only going to hurt us in the quest to get rid of the Marxist. Regardless of if you think abortion is good or bad, WHY WOULD YOU WANT WASHINGTON DC IDIOTS TO TELL US ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT WE DO IN OUR PRIVATE LIVES? This is a moral question which politicians have no right to weigh in on, and it is totally a matter of personal opinion. Keep the government OUT OF THIS. Sorry for the rant.
did u '"get it"?
u havent seen space balls!?
Were you streaming it? Maybe it was Fox. I have occasional problems, but I bet this sucker crashed 7 or more times during the
dog and pony show"debate"…I'm as undecided as ever. Well, I decided I would rather have S.P. in the race, but, well…
Do we have any other options?
I dissagree, Human Life is sacred and I beleive that MOST Americans also beleive that.
That's precisely why they didn't have debates like this, though, isn't it?
That's downright funny.
