Profiles in Cowardice: Part I, Wisconsin Edition
by PubliusEarlier tonight, we posted video of WI Democrat Senators fleeing expected Tea Party activists. They were in another state because they decided to shirk their constitutional obligations. We asked BG readers to identify the Senators in the video.
Our readers have responded.
The first senatorial coward in the video is state Sen. Jim Holperin.
The second coward is Sen. Robert Rauch.
Wisconsin voters…you now have your targets. These two fled the state because they had no respect for the legislative process or the wishes of the voters. Please give their offices some love. And, start recruiting candidates to take them on. Cowards should be called out.

These Democrats had better be staying at this resort on their own dime !!
Cowardly and chicken $hit !!!
I hope they are recalled !
"Part I"? You mean there's more? Delicious. Can't wait for the sequel! I happen to be visiting WI this weekend. Hmmm….
Chickensh#t! I heard that Organizing for America (BO's group) are the individuals who are being bussed into WI to STOP Gov. Walker & the RESPONSIBLE Republicans from doing their job! Union bosses are "thugs" to the bone! Maybe the teachers of WI would prefer to be laid off!
I read about that. Do we even have a Constitution anymore?
Let's just contact every dem (and RINO) in the country and tell them how we "feel".
These Cowardly Yahoos ran away so that just in case their thugs tore up the place they wouldn't get hurt.
Ha. They're politicians. Even THEIR dimes are the taxpayer's dimes.
Note that the 2nd guy's name is Robert Jauch, not Rauch: http://legis.wisconsin.gov/senate/sen25/news/
Cool. I'm listening to the news that Rick Scott here in Florida will be doing the same with public pensions and benefits.
The nice thing here is that all of the democrats in the State House could leave, and no one would even notice. There aren't that many of them.
Oh, and we told obama No Thanks on that high speed choo-choo.
The rest of the country hasn't seen us counter protest because we have to work to pay these ungrateful state employees…
I remember when this happened in Texas. If the DEMs don't like the probable outcome, well they are just gonna take the ball and go home.
I remember this when i was younger. It was the fat kid who sucked at sports. Not even the fat jolly kid, we liked that one, because he was at least smart.
"Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life son."
C'mon cheese heads don't let these guys get away with this crap. Track them down. Take a camera and a bull horn and post the video on youtube. I'm sure Brietbart would link to it. Hell Drudge would link to it.
Great video. Way to keep the Democratic looters in check.
I bet those A-holes will charge their 2 martinis lunch to the taxpayers of Wisconsin.
No mo money union thugs, time for you to get in the back of the bus.
Do you expect Democrat politicians to use THEIR own cash when they have access to tax revenue? Yeah, I would hold my breath on that.
No high speed choo-choo?
I hear that's a real economic game changer.
America gets what She deserves.
Until the people demand better, they will not get better.
I look forward to making a doNation to every republican senator once they vote on this. It won't make up for all the thug-union money but it's a start.
Their from Wisconsin. ..try 5 martini lunch with cocktails afterwards
I popped over to MSNBC and listened in on a report. Republicans are cutting Police, Fire, and Teachers…..
pensions. Oh, pensions. I thought you were saying they are trying to cut these vital services. Nothing to see here.
Is it me, or does anyone ever feel the need to clear thier browser cache after visiting CNN or MSNBC?
I have questions about the bill.
According to what I have read: "The bill requires educators to contribute 5.8 percent to their pensions and 12.6 percent to their health care. Currently, educators pay 0.2 percent for their pensions and 4 to 6 percent of their health care costs."
So, according to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, how does this compare to private sector worker's contributions to pensions and health care? If I had the time I'd do the research. BLS is very searchable. Anybody seen a decent apples to apples comparison?
Nope. We have a Maximum Leader with a 'plan'.
Oh kids oooh kids does it get better:
Sen. Jauch: "This is the rebirth of the Progressive movement" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9VXO7H4Lu4
Communist Liberal Socialist Workers Unite! http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=732_1297987999
I would like to see the Wisconsin chapters of the Tea Party showing up in large numbers to counter the protesters. Also seems time that some laws need to be passed making congress members held accountable for their jobs or suffer legal repercussions.
I saw them….better indeed !
Can someone tell me how ANY Democrat get elected?
Contempt of Citizenry.
Contempt of Congress.
Those congressmen were ordered to show up at the legislature to perform their official duties. They willfully neglected, and they conspired to do so.
That's racketeering. Criminally PROSECUTE. This warrants RICO indictments, certainly more than the local crack dealers do, and the gov't uses such laws against such private citizens routinely.
My coward Senator Chris Larson also fled like a rat..he call the local news to inform his constituents he's in a "secure location"…I want this clown recalled
These malcontents have no business representing any citizen.
Start the petition with your friends and neighbors.
Well, it's a very sordid story, with lies, deception, fraud, and enough crime to fill 5 seasons of "Law and Order".
Fraud…..
Oh yeah. The choo-choo is a game changer alright. It would have been a debt hole for Florida. Luckily though, we have a Governor that isn't playing that game.
When the going gets tough, the regressives scurry and hide like cockroaches exposed to light. Regressives can't stand the sanitization of exposure.
Forgot bribery.
Okay patriots!
We've got a job to do.
Warm up your fax machines, telephones and keyboards…
It's take down time!
If you get a chance to do so, please contact Governor Walker and voice your support for this common sense bill.

Dead Democrats keep voting for another 10 years. Government money to ACORN to sign up only Democrats. Democrat Judges to help with recounts.
Greta interviewed a "student protester" from Wisconsin tonight on her show. (Protesting on behalf of the union parasites) And I have to say, I am appalled that this IDIOT kid was given a moment on national television. As I watched that, all I could think is that we REALLY need to take back control of education in this country.
When Greta asked him what should be done to fix the financial crisis in Wisconsin, his answer was, "I think we should tax the rich." I wanted to throw something at the TV. But then I remembered, I PAID for that TV. This IDIOT kid has never paid for anything.
These kids have been brain-washed. They have NOT been "educated."
Just find out where the Dem legislators are hiding, get your signs and go down there this weekend. Tell them to go home.
Good lord man i hope you had protection
Don't forget. Dead Republicans also change their party affiliation once they "depart."
More like a snowshoe with a beer chaser. I loved those snowshoes! A quick round of sheepshead and you are all set.
You can switch parties, re-register, or cross state lines to vote democrat after you've "passed on".
FIRE THEM ALL, PLUS THE TEACHERS
I don't think they were cutting pensions, just asking the union people to contribute to their own pension. Also they could kick in a little for their healthcare. Right now they are contributing zero, zilch, nada.
One of our biggest sayings here is Madison is 25 square miles surrounded by reality. We like to keep Madisonians in Madison so they don't infect the rest of the state.
People's republic of Madison is a personal favorite…

Thanks for sharing your finds. Great work.
Speaking just for myself, the last job I had with bennies, my employer would match my 401k contribution up to 4% of my gross pay, and health insurance was just like the 7 1/2 % SS contribution that the employer is supposed to pay, the employer just deducts it from what would be your gross pay if he didn't have to pay it. In other words, the employer paid it all, but it's just an illusion, an accounting gimmick, and the employee really pays it all.
Sorry if that's a bit confusing, I just spent an hour at wonkette, and the stupid there kinda rubs off.
Wisconsin residents should go and hunt down these leftwing rats that scurried off, beat them unconscious and drag them back to WI.
Need to take a thorough shower too.
Jauch must be hammered for running away and this statement he made in the vid I linked to
Rebirth of progressive movement is not a good thing and those cheering have no idea. These people are dangerous, do not dismiss, mock, call them crazy etc. they are outright dangerous and a threat to the US
Walker spoke at our Tax Day tea party last year. along with Ron Johnson, & Sean Duffy. There are over 70 Tea Party & Constitution groups that have formed in this State. We took Both State Houses. Two additional Congressional seats, a Senate seat & the Govornor's seat back from the Socalists. Several small communites also went that way.
Right now we could use a few prayers to strenghten the resolve of those we elected when they are under fire.
Some of my fellow Wisconsinites like their beer a little TOO much.
I respect your posts & know you would agree.
Great start. Hang in there bro. We got your back.
These socialist and communist pigs are going to get out of hand: http://washingtonexaminer.com/blogs/beltway-confi...
They spread like crabs. We had about 400 out chanting in FDL yesterday. Gave finger.
Wait until Democrats say video cams must be banned, regulated and controlled to make being gutless creeps easier to do on the sneak!
Things conservatives put out as a joke now ends up coming true in due course! Libs get desperate and start blaming things. It's the car. The gun. The media. The radio. The oil. … The Camera. And then it's stand there and lie or run and hide! The drive-by strategy.
Democrats did NOT behave this way 30 and 40 years ago! The had gumption and self respect–and loved America.
The New Breed is a much lesser Breed. They are a shame!
It is starting to spread quickly CB. Whats your take?
Did you see this : http://washingtonexaminer.com/blogs/beltway-confi...
I live in Fl also. A high speed Choo Choo to go 80 miles from Tampa to Orlando? we have I-4 why would anyone use it? Moronic idea. But it did come from Otraitor and Nelson. Notice nelson has been under the radar lately? We need to target him in 2012 to be defeated.
Well with 17% unemployed I think we have a number to protest. I got laid off again 3 weeks ago. I am ready to rumble.
Pray? For what they face no threat. I pray for the fighting men and women. Politicians can kiss my a$$
Basically, the cowards are every single democrat in the Wisconsin senate. But here's a list of their emails. I'm gong to link them a copy of this BIG post to they can show the video to their kids.
Sen.Rauch@legis.wisconsin.gov
Sen.Holperin@legis.wisconsin.gov
.
If all in power tell us to go to Hell how can we demand better? By complaining in these blogs? LOL. I think I liked it better in the founders day they could not let off steam in places like this. They let off steam by removing the oppressors.
browser cache after visiting CNN or MSNBC?
Would have to clean my whole body with Grannies lye soap LOL
"Notice nelson has been under the radar lately?"
Under the radar my ass. Nelson is trying to do an end-run on Scott to get the State funding from private sources. As if the advertised "10%" State contribution will be all it costs us.
It's a boondoggle. It's a debt hole. When it fails, and it WILL fail, Florida will be on the hook to repay the $2.4 Billion back to the feds.
We're not stupid. And thank God we have a Governor that isn't stupid either.
We need to revive the effort like the Tea Party movement and get out there PEOPLE. They are in the streets we need to be there. The Tea Party is already being sucked into the machine. If they were not all the gathering would be going on locally again. They want to march we march. We have people living off our money telling us to go to hell. FIRE THEM Replace Them fight them. Glen Back predicted this. Top Down Bottom Up, He did months ago. Screw the phones and blogs get out in the streets.
"Democrats did NOT behave this way 30 and 40 years ago!"
That democrat party is dead. It's been dead for decades.
Additional correction to MSNBC's report (shock) is the bill addresses all public employees EXCEPT Fire and Police.
Governor didn't want to have to deal with them joining the teachers at the capital this week in protests.
Did Darwin have a theory for de-evolution? If not, I think we are witnessing the de-evolution of the progressive humanoid.
Well, if the kid Greta had on tonight is what Wisconsin's educators produce, it's no surprise.
When asked if he had any solutions to plug the $3.6B deficit in the State, his answer was … *drum roll* …
"Tax the Rich!"
Why oh why Greta didn't put this kid in his place, I have no clue. You could tax Wisconsin's "evil rich" at 100% and it still wouldn't plug the hole…
Join freedom connector at: http://connect.freedomworks.org/?source=direct
You can quickly organize at the local level to combat these horrible $hits…..
What kind of person flees the state they represent in order to not lose a vote? And what kind of political Party resorts to such tactics? A pathetic person and a pathetic Party. The Democrats need to change their name because they no longer care about freedom. They want to impose their Totalitarian world view on the rest of us and may soon see that they will take a “by any means necessary” approach to do it.
The Democrats and unions walk hand in hand and unionists act as the Party’s shock troops. How soon before we see nation wide protests and even riots in America because of a possible government shutdown?

Crybaby
Communist
Cowards
According to a report compiled by the MacIver Institute
http://maciverinstitute.com/wp-content/uploads/20...
In 2009, State employees contributed about 6.2% on Family Premium plans. This is less than half of what the average Midwestern state was at, 13.8%, and 1/3 the national average.
So going to 12-13% would still be just below what the average is for the midwest.
Report also states that the contribution has actually lowered since 2009, to 4.7% for family coverage.
Got a little story, unrealted, today about the day of the Nevada vote. A person that was working at the polls was approached by the SEIU and asked to see the voter rolls. Which is perfectly legit an all. They used that info to see which members voted or not. They went back, got on the phones and got the union members to the polls. Very pro-active. It worked. Harry got back in there.
My pot intoxicated fellow Californians passed a proposition that calls for a high speed choo-choo up the Central Valley of California. Unbelievable! Suppose to cost $billions upon $billions.
State is insolvent.
Explains how Gov. Moonbeam got re-elected.
Exactly.
"Secure location": His momma's basement.
Does anyone know what happens if these fellows simply refuse to attend the legislature? Does that stop the Govenor and the GOP members from passing the legislation in question? If so, what's the remedy? I can't see the cops putting the bracelets on these morons and frog-marching them to their seats (although this image is quite delightful). When do their paychecks, health insurance, perks etc get stopped?
Hey, the Illnois Tea Party was on the ball–they chased down the chickens in record time, and before anyone else (hello, MSM) could find them.
I can imagine a few of the fleeing Dems getting a phone call and a disguised voice hisses, "when that vote comes down you be sure to be out of town, or else! "
Yup! Such threats coming from their SEIU/ACORN "friends" because these democrats made "friends" with these thugs! They were enticed along with how the law maker will just be "on top, for ever" with them if he fixes things for the thugs! The "friend" angle!
The thugs want the money! They want the money. They see it as their money already–like criminals. And so for now–"Friend" angle is gone!
Everybody better look closely at their State leader's friends, now! If they're dealing with ACORN / OBAMA / AYERS / SEIU they may need a HELP LINE for that threatening call sure to come some day.
This smells of racketeering on it's face!
Well if they stay out of the state for good, perhaps there will be hope for Wisconsin after all!!
http://liberallystupid.blogspot.com/2011/02/wisco...
If I didn't show up for work I would be fired…. It looks like these two are volunteering for the early retirement program. Let's help them out so they don't have to face the "tough" decisions of the Constitution they swore to uphold. I know there are real men out there who can do the job….
Unions = mafia
off subject
is it just me or is anyone else seeing people deleated from the sites?
Yeah, I read that today. Good for him!
It would seem that nobody wants it.
Looks like we've fallen into the rabbit hole. So how do we get them to drink the shrinking potion?
Thanx for sharing.
Senator:
If you were really doing your job you'll be on the floor of the Wisconsin senate debating this bill and proposing amendments. The fact that you don't know how to do your job shows you should resign immediately since you obviously don't know how to read laws let alone how to pass them.

Every teach who has called in sick this week should be unemployed on Monday at the lastest. If they aren't than the local school board members needs to be fired since they don't know how to do their job.!

Then move the capital so the lawmakers aren't exposed to these nuts. That infects the rest of the state.

one who knows this no vote protects their union buddies. If they could protect them without leaving the state they wouldn't have left the state.

Yeah, bribery. Basically, the reasons Democrats get elected nowadays is because they promise voters an endless all-you-can-eat buffet of "free" social programs, all payed for by the wealthy. The entire Democrat agenda can be summed up as "Vote for us and we'll give you free stuff."
Short and to the point: People with no skin in the game have a right to vote!
