Black Farmer Blows Whistle on Pigford: ‘If You Got a Potted Plant, That Makes You a Farmer’
by PubliusAlthough the Pigford settlement story is a complex one that has major political implications, at the heart of it is a very simple question: does the settlement contain a significant amount of fraud?
If the Obama administration is telling the truth and there are only three cases of fraud out of 15,000 settled claims, then there’s no story here. If the fraud does exists, the attempt to silence people like Rep. Steve King or Andrew Breitbart aren’t just wrong but are a clear sign that some people will say anything to keep the truth about Pigford from coming out.
But you can’t fool all of the people all of the time. Eventhough the mainstream media has been silent on this story, there are witnesses. One brave whistleblower is Arkansas farmer Jimmy Dismuke, who recently sat down for an extensive, exclusive interview about Pigford. That entire interview will be made available on BigGovernment in the near future but today’s clip is powerful testimony about how simple it was for people — and by extension, their lawyers — to collect those $50,000 Pigford payments.

This is what happens when WE THE PEOPLE haven't done our civic duty for the past 100 years. We are the stock holders of this wealth, it all comes out of our pay checks and these legal extortionist have use every trick in the book to steal from WE THE PEOPLE. They do it under the guise of racism, environmentalism, Heath-care , eduction, they will make everything a right so they can put a price tag on this and give it to people who are now nothing more then moochers off the people that work, do what is right, pay taxes and want to see this country great. The left steals from us and gives CRUMBS to the people who vote for the Democratic party. If they only knew how they are all being used they would rise up and we would have a revolution. Every program and bill the Democrats have passed going back to 1900 has failed. Social Security is one massive ponzi scheme. Obamacare will shut this country down, the unions, the democrats don't care they want to take every dime this massive industrial machine produces. The greed in the left makes Al Capone look like a saint.
Great point. The first step in taking our once great country back is to admit that we screwed up and gave it away. We are taking that step now, and it is embarrassing. Next we have to clean up all branches of our government. We must make sure the liars and thieves that perpetrated these massive scams are unemployed and, preferably behind bars.
Pigford should become a battle ground! Every politician, judge, lawyer, and claimant should be investigated for fraud those found guilty thrown in jail and all assists seized.
I never until this moment realized that I was a farmer! I guess I had better buy a John Deere hat today.
Time for all of us to send an e-mail or call our GOP representatives and ask them to investigate this bill.
On another note… The list of granted exceptions to the Obamacare bill is now up to 222 and growing.
It might be a good time to point out that the U.S. did not invent slavery at its founding. America was founded in the midst of its own cultural upheaval and brought with it the adjunct cultural underpinnings of its day. It was not some newly hatched idea and not one that goes away easily.
Our Christian heritage and appeal to reason both paved the way for a remarkably brave quitting of the inhuman trade that is still practiced brutally in many other so-called "enlightened" nations. And yet are we all slaves now, if that be any comfort to those grasping for whatever reparations they can wrest from the common purse. They hope to be supported by the fact of new immigrant "slaves" working the farms and factories that ply the tax rolls with fresh coin. Stupidly, our government has not figured out that all the "new slave" labor is merely a canker-worm that exports the untaxed wealth to other lands while being heavily subsidized by other welfare programs.
Such thinly veiled reparations will soon run dry. But certainly, two wrongs make a right nowadays and my bet is that not one fake farmer feels anything less than justice has been well-served. Much good may the short-sighted grab do them. I can only pray it is invested in growing a new business that employs many. That would be a noble end to such a farce.

Slavery is also a question of degrees, the fact is that under socialism we are being robbed of the products of our labor, those products are given to others, and it is all done under the threat of violence or imprisonment at the least.

If this type of massive fraud is allowed to continue… it serves as a 'flashing neon sign', proof positive, of the depth of corruption of Comrade Barry's entire administration and the further debasement of the rule of law! Jimmy Dismuke somewhat restored my faith in a sense of right and wrong. The past several days, reading all the articles here, I have been wondering. Just watching that minute plus video, I can see that man is honest.

The British were proponents of the slave trade; bringing slaves to the new world to work their properties and estates. Most farmers that I know are honest CB. Farming isn't an easy life, they work very hard for what they have and that in turn gives them respect for themselves and others. Honesty is a way of life for them and it is much different than the culture of the inner city where they don't give a $hit for anything or anybody.

Once the payments are made, do any of us honestly think the US government will ask any for the money

There are always those willing to make an "easy buck" at the expense of someone else. In this case, "the someone else" is the American Taxpayer. No doubt, the $$$ that is being STOLEN from WE THE PEOPLE, will be spent just as quickly as it is taken. I have a rather unique perspective on that.
About 20 years ago, I sponsored someone to come into this country, from an African country. The man went on to do very well. He used to laugh and tell me: "Mr. xxxxxxx, you Americans are the dumbest folks alive. You don't know your history. You have been sold a bill of goods, and believe you were responsible for the slave trade. If my people weren't catching them, there would be no slaves. We have slavery to this very day in Africa."
He taught me a lot.
Look at Africa. Around the Cape, along the coast, it is normally Christian, as that is where the Missionaries set up camp, but they did not make it too far inland. That area is still Muslim, to this very day. It was the Muslim savages who were the slave hunters. That is a fact.

Jimmy Dismuke is like a lot of farmers in America. Honest and hard working with good morals and ethics. If you did business with this man you would walk away feeling good about your deal. He is a man that we all could easily call a friend.

If USDA employees knowingly discriminated against black farmers, then they should be held criminally and financially liable. Why is my tax money being used? I didn't discriminate against any black farmers. If everyone is going to be held responsible for a problem (and no one is really sure this all happened anyway) then I guess we should all report to prison. I want Louis Farrakhan for my cellmate.
I lay blame on the court and the effing liberal federal judge[s] that ruled on Pigford. Among other remedies, impeach and remove the SOBs wearing the black ugly dresses!
