Pigford Witness Report: Black Applicants Claim Racial Discrimination Against Black USDA Officials

I’ve worked with the USDA for more than 25 years. The situation with Pigford has been horrible. There were cases of discrimination. Perhaps 100 cases in the whole state of [redacted]. But the federal government paid out thousands of claims, a lot of them churned by attorneys who made a lot of money.
Attorneys caught on to the fact that the federal government doesn’t keep records. They either don’t keep them well in terms of who they are meeting with or they are destroyed after a couple of years. Attorneys recognized this and exploited it in Pigford.
My name started to appear on Pigford claims as someone who had discriminated against applicants. I had to develop a chronology listing where I worked when, because almost all of the claims just didn’t make sense because I didn’t even work in those areas. Names got out that you were a USDA employee and lawyers would just have people put them on an application.
The legal standard for Pigford was supposed to be a preponderance of evidence in order to be granted a claim. But pretty soon they began giving money to whoever filled out a form. Sometimes it was just strange the claims that they granted. There were a lot of claims of racial discrimination against the USDA offices in Jefferson County, Arkansas, for example. But the supervisors there were all black.
In my area there were hundreds of claims from black women claiming racial discrimination. In my 15 year career at that time, I had seen only one black female farmer apply for a loan.
In another instances there were eight applications from one family that were filed and granted.
Pigford was basically legalized extortion—it reached a point where they were just handing money to people.

Anytime I have to fill out a government form that requires me to put in my race and gender I question them… Why do you need to know that. Why do you even keep track of that. Just like in the census and throughout the very fabric of all our societies RACE matters. Its how they dole out , absolutely every dang dime they confiscate from us. Every single government assistance program is a scam., filled to the brim with fraud and misuse.
There has been way too many years now that all other races that reside in America have been absolutely pummeled by the angry black man. I am fed up with paying the debt of a injustice that I nor anyone in my family had any part in committing. Stealing from me makes up for the alleged discrimination made by some flunky USDA government employees that may or may not have ever even done it?

I understand its value in creating a narrative and that the interviewee would not want to labor on a paper himself….
But at the end of the day- you are not directly quoting and could be accused of taking liberties…. Does the witness sign of on the final piece before you publish?

It's not hard to clear up some of the mess. Find the so-called female farmers, exclude the one-in-15-years female farmer, and ship them to a deserted island in the Indian Ocean. Then snag every male with an urban address and ship them there, too. Let them eat each other. Seize their assets and give refund checks to the rest of us scaled to our respective incomes.

In my life experiences, when someone has been caught in a lie, they see the end result is not pretty, they cannot think clearly, that is when I always moved in for the admission. After seeing him speak today, the last 3 months of fear of what is coming has turned into hope.
Short and simple, this is another attempt at purchasing votes at tax payer expense. Giving the unions special treatment for the awarding of government contracts. The DREAM Act. Obama care. If this type of corruption continues we will soon be no better than many of the third-world countries where corruption is standard practice. Using other people's money to fund payoffs is bringing us closer to this reality because people are begining to figure how to make this happen. The only racial discrimination I have seen in my lifetime has been against white people under the guise of affirmative action. Being white, where can I apply for my repartition?

Actually, the only way to ensure the USDA does not discriminate against anyone in the future is to disband the USDA.
I say for $50,000, we make all the claimants and lawyers work on a pig farm for two weeks. That would put an end to this.
