Yesterday the First Lady had lunch with the Spanish King and Queen before jetting back to DC. Yes, it is a tough schedule, but she will soon be retiring to Martha’s Vineyard to recover from this vacation. Ole!

The Obama's have no class. Living their extremely lavish lives as America suffers in an almost comical demonstration of hypocrisy. Barack's willingness to lie his way into power in the first place shows everything one needs to know. Queen Michelle has a lot of audacity to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on this vacation while people like me cant find a job because my community is plundered to pay for these exotic foreign travels. Anyone think that money might have been better off in our pockets, spent in our communities?
Speaking of audacity, what kind of narcissist writes an autobiography before he even accomplishes anything? If you answered our president, we have a winner.

At least Carter put on a sweater when he told us that we had to sacrifice and lower the thermostat in the winter. The Obama's however are living it up in the style of royalty while the peasants are told to sacrifice more on an almost daily basis.
We all know what happened to Marie Antoinette.
Ultimately, This is not restricted to just the Obama's. You will find many Republicans guilty of similar deeds. This is government in a nutshell. Steal your money and spend it however they damn well please: To buy vacations, votes, to bomb third world countries and slowly destroy our society in the process.
This is still a lot cheaper than having them work – that costs us billions.
Keep the president on the golf course full time. The savings would be considerable.
She wants America to 'go on a diet' while she lives it up in Spain…eating at the ritziest places she can find..meanwhile her backside keeps growing and growing and……Don't tell me what to eat!
Michelle reminds me of an evil disney cartoon character, I'm glad i wasnt at that luncheon, i bet it was as interesting as the beer summit…

These 2 inhabitants of the W.H., aka Dumb and Dumber, moved to Chicago with nothing. He lied his way onto the W.H., and for the first time, they THINK they are SOMEBODY! It would make interesting research to cross check the names of the litigants of the thousands of black farmers in the class action tort against the USDA against a list of the children/parents/adults that worked for the Sherrod collective in the 60's and 70's. The children would all be adults now and the stench from potential hush money is palpable.

Have someone, anyone pass a law that says that any teacher/policeman/fireman does not have to pay any state/federal taxes. Say, "hey, sorry about all the bennies we promised you, the union screwed you, sorry. BUT, what we can do is allow you, those who give and protect our community, to never pay taxes again.
When they see how much money they actually have, mebbe they'll become conservatives and kick out the fracking unions!

I had to laugh, this morning I happened to see Dana Perino on F&F explaining to the audience that
Miichelle Obama paid her own way to Spain, and the American taxpayer ONLY paid for the sec-
urity for the trip. I surmise that Fox News is now in charge of tamping down erroneous rumors
spread by the blogasphere, namely US who were under the impression that we were footing the
entire bill. Perhaps the White House should make this information available in advance to avoid such
misunderstandings in the future. Including the total cost of the security estimated, before the trip
and a full accounting after the trip, so that we may compare.
My My, it's getting tough for the first couple, reckon the Left thought of this type of dissension when
they were romping on GWB for going to the Ranch to cut brush? Bet the security for that was mini-
mal, compared to Moo Moo's jaunts.

Ah, come on folks, she really needed this vacation after all she is in charge of twenty-two attendants, that a lot of work for someone that has no clue, after all, most First Ladies only required one attendant, they must have been simple folks, Queen Obama was also tired after that 4th of July trip to Mt. Desert Island in Maine, This is a lot of work for someone who has not done any physical labor her entire life, so give her a break, after all, she will most probably need another vacation after this long and trying ordeal. (Just sarcasm folks)

My military career had me serving in many places around the globe and for the first time in my life it pains me to say that I am NOT proud of my country, at least as far as the government and the image that is being portrayed to the world.

I went to Spain on leave in 1962, away from the tourist traps the average cost for a steak dinner was less than $.50 US funds. When did things get so expensive in Spain?

For the first time in my adult life I am TRULY EMBARRASED for my country! Remember, when times are tough, you need to cut back, like "you don't go to Vegas"! Isn't that right oh annointed one?
Naturally, the left are splitting hairs with regards to the analysis as to how much of this trip cost the Obama’s and how much cost the American tax payer. There is no debate. Being first lady is a privilege this woman will take advantage of since all those years she wasn’t proud of her country. Now she can overcome that grief by fulfilling her desires by being compensated for it. Whenever and wherever she wants.
If her husband would take a serious approach to the position he holds, maybe we could all accept their spending on behalf of their personal entertainment. But that’s not what’s happening. He’s dividing this country on race and ideology. His policies are “drive-by” oriented and once another of his socialist/progressive policies introduces serious debate and division between the political parties and American citizens, he “escapes” to another romp on the golf course, basketball court or some other “get-away”.
Yea, presidents and first ladies deserve vacations during their 4 years. But these two take the cake. Suck it up America……they run the show. And until such time comes when they’re out, they will take advantage of every perk/entitlement available to them. In the meantime, we’ll continue to alter our lifestyles on a daily basis in order to survive another day of this so-called economic improvement and private sector job growth.

While they are supposed to paying for room, food and incidentals on this jaunt they aren't paying for the cost of Air Force 2, and that is a hefty price tag. Tacking on the the party and the lunch with the King and Queen of Spain put those days expenses on the taxpayers.

The article states, “At the current rate, the Senate’s reported travel tab for the year would exceed $5 million for the first time, and that number dramatically understates the true costs to taxpayers of the chamber’s trips abroad.”
It also goes on to state: “Congressional foreign travel is paid for out of two standing “foreign currency” accounts in the U.S. Treasury that automatically refill themselves, and Congress does not have to appropriate money for these trips. There is also no budget for Congressional travel, so Members of Congress never have to inquire how much money is left for travel in a given year.”
“Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) issued new House guidelines for foreign travel in March in an effort to control costs, including new rules limiting the purchase of first-class tickets and mandating that travelers return to the Treasury all unspent per diem funds. But in the Senate, the Majority Leader does not assert the same kind of control over travel policies. Instead, each committee sets its own policies for travel.”
I guess it’s hard not to be tempted to spend on travel when the president disregards the moral, ethical and economical impacts these trips will create as a burden to the taxpayer. It’s obvious the mentality of “well, if he can do it, so can we” is alive and well. So much for “cleaning the swamp” eh Nancy? I’m sure the spending of the Bush administration will be used to overshadow the abuse of the spending of this administration. Smoke & mirrors.
Its not easy being the King! Its along time between now and the 2012 elections, I don't think Obama is going to leave office without a fight. All he needs is to have one of the conservative supreme court justices leave, appoint another liberal and he will appoint himself dictator for life.
Someday, it may have to come to that.
That's why they want to turn the USA into a welfare state, that is their power. It's how most great dictators came to power. If he is reelected in 2012, don't look for him to leave in 2016.
