This group had no way of knowing that she was going to bring the story to a pivot point, during her speech, she seems awefully proud of how she had mistreated the white farmer who was "showing her he was superior to her" (does this sound like a post racial person at all, or someone paying lip service to the idea?)

This Group she was giving her speech to, an NAACP crow was laughing, and nodding approval at her recanting of how she mistreated and even cheated the white farmer, BEFORE they knew she was going to pivot the message to a positive one.

Anyone who ignores this is simply either a racist themselves, or a cynical political hack.

I was giving her the benefit of the doubt over her initial comments since the original clips were just that, clips. I wanted the full context of her speech. As this mess unfolded, the more I began to understand that Sherrod didn't have this great epiphany and the clips expressed her real views. After her Fox bashing as well as calling Fox and Brightbart racists, I knew for sure, she's little more than just another racist on the Left trying to deflect it onto the Right.

The NAACP needs to repudiate their association with Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam. Farrakhan and the NOI has a well known reputation of promoting racial hate speech against white people, and particularly against the Jewish community. Also, Farrakhan has a affiliation with the Black Liberation Theologist, Jeremiah Wright, who has also a bigoted agenda preaching white hate speech and racism.

The racist Reverend Wright has also been a featured speaker at NAACP events, spouting the same messages as has fellow racist Islamist cleric Louis Farrakhan. So before Ben Jealous lectures Tea Party members about their "continued tolerance for bigotry and bigoted statements," he ought to pay more attention to his own organization.

It appears to me they took a page out of 'Race Baiting for Dummies'. They need to repudiate their association with the Nation of Islam and Jeremiah Wright, and discontinue their undignified practice of spreading false allegations of racism against the Tea Party movement. From what I have read, some of the farmers "intended" on starting a farm but were denied loans.

Also in reading some FSA info-the Pigford claimants have first dibs on auction equipment-right up until 24 hours before the auction is open to the public-the first dibs include real estate and equipment.

The language used in that FSA ruling was quite peculiar to me.

It read "beginning and socially disadvantaged" and specifically mentioned Pigford claimants.

Her own racist words and background make it clear that she is a racists. There was nothing either "wacky" or out of the law sir. Slander and Liable must be intentional and clearly the AB case falls below that bar in so many ways. I have nothing against Ms. Sherrod. However I find it interesting that after she was informed that FOX had nothing to do with the story she continued her tirade against them. AB's comments were fairly clearly about reaction to Ms. Sherrod's words by members of the NAACP audience in response. Therefore, it seems the only foul done is by the White House and those race bating victim pimps whose sole purpose is to deflect failure from themselves and blame others. The COURT will decide the matter under the LAW and the LAW is clearly not on Ms. Sherrod's side which is why I doubt seriously she will file a case. But if she does, remember that discovery (that's a process for the intellectual midgets) is a two-edged sword and swings both ways in terms of what gets uncovered. I doubt given many of the words and some of the history of Ms. Sherrod that is coming to light that she will truly want to go down that path. Theoretically a court is color blind. People there are (Thanks to Dr. King) supposed to be judged with equal justice under the law. Any good judge is color blind and sees only the law.

That's why most people are appalled by this. Breitbart's conduct has been shameful, and his refusal to apologize for what he did is dishonorable. One more thing Mr. Wizeup. When my two oldest children were in high school school, one third of the students attending were bussed in from a black section of the city. The guise was that every child should get a quality education. Yet when I would go over to their school on occasion, I noticed sadly that black kids were always standing around, in those days listening to boom boxes and smoking outside the grounds. One of the schools police officers (who was black) told me it disgusted him, that it was that way all the time, that they rarely went to class. At graduation for each of my daughters, there were approximately 800 students. Of those, two hundred received honors or high honors. Of those only two in each case were black, the rest were of other nationalities or white. This in a school that was attended 1/3rd by black students, young people who were neither encouraged by their families or who were so bogged down in drugs, gang violence and failure that they wouldn't even try. The two black kids in each class that excelled….middle class kids whose families lived in our neighborhood. Their parents were Republicans. My own black cousin attended HS in Los Angeles and was repeatedly beaten by other blacks because he was a straight A student. His black mother was a successful executive and his black grandfather was a licensed physician (MD). My cousin attended UCLA on an ROTC scholarship and graduated and is very successful today. His skin did not keep him from being successful. His attitude, hard work, lack of bitterness and his consistent perseverance made him successful. I come from a multi-racial family. Though I do not look at all Hispanic, I have lived in predominantly black areas of California where I have heard more racist slander against Whites and Latinos in everyday conversation than anywhere else in the country except Wisconsin. I know racism when I hear it buddy. It is ugly and it knows no specific color boundary nor does it infect only one people. If you watch her entire NAACP speech, she talks about her prejudice against the white farmer because of blacks selling their farms for dirt cheap (as if that's the white man's fault that someone would sell it for next to nothing). That's racism in it's purest form because she's not only prejudice, she's exerting her power and control over another person when she decides not to give him govt. money. Then without actually saying whether or not she gave him money at that point, it's assumed that she did not, because she speaks of sending him to 'one of his own,' and 'his own kind,' the white lawyer, TO HELP HIM DECLARE BANKRUPTCY! Gee, thanks for the help, Ms. Sherrod. Obviously, this white couple got money eventually, or SOME sort of 'assistance' from this woman, cause now they praise her for helping them save their farms. Are they still getting checks? Do they even work the farm, or did govt. simply help 'save their farm' by making it so they can sit on their butts and never work the land? Why aren't they making enough off their crops to support themselves? If they can't complete, they SHOULD sell the farm to someone else who can make a profit.

And can you imagine the flack George Bush would be getting if someone in the USDA got up and said that a black was sent to 'THEIR OWN KIND" and 'ONE OF THEIR OWN?" Why isn't anyone talking about this? It sounds like segregation, where we can only go to certain people for help, or sit at certain lunch counters, or drink from certain water fountains, or attend certain schools. Never does this woman apologize or show remorse for her prejudicial views, even though she obviously defends herself and feels they were justified as a result of white prejudice against blacks. In fact, if you watch the video, she goes out of her way to say that it's not just an issue of white vs. black, but to a GREATER extent, rich vs. poor. WATCH THE VIDEO CAREFULLY….She deliberately says that it IS an issue of black vs. white, STILL, but just not to the extent of rich vs. poor. Why isn't anyone talking about that? This woman said it in her own works, no one elses…..skin color plays a role in her thinking. How shameless she is! Once again, the double standard is exposed, by the woman herself, and no one else.

When I first heard her start giving her speech, bragging that govt. employees never get laid off, (words which I find highly offensive and which probably contributed to her being fired), I thought 'here's the type of person that only the govt. would hire because private businesses can't compete in the marketplace with tired employees like her.' So her first job was with a non-profit doling out govt. cash, and now she's closer to the source. We need to stop funding these socialist non-profits and start laying off govt. employees. Every year, the ratio of govt. jobs to private sector jobs increases. We're ALREADY socialist, so what's next? So what do you call a country where everyone works for the government? I'll give you a hint…it starts with the letter 'C' and ends with an 'ism.' And it's exactly what the regime wants. Do you?

Obviously she is either lying or an accomplice in an attempt to trick AB. The ONLY way AB can be guilty of wrongdoing is if he was sent the full tape and edited it himself. It would be easy to prove that he was set up either by producing the original tape or CD he was given/sent, or by showing the email received with the attachment downloaded from the server back in March. Either way, if he was working from a sources edited tape and had no other knowledge, it's obviously a set-up to attempt to smear him as racist. That MSNBC, NBC and CNN have all carried the AB is a Racist mantra lends me to believe they might have stooped so low as to be in on it or at least in a media dog-eat-dog world, complicit with the lie (which doesn't surprise me). The fact that the unedited tape appeared literally hours after the damage was done tells me the entire affair was staged. It's clearly a Bill Ayres type of ploy. This woman is no victim. There is no basis for a defamation lawsuit by Breitbart against Ms. Sherrod. Her comments are those of opinion, and are protected speech under the First Amendment. Breitbart, however, did appear to defame Ms. Sherrod by posting the claims about her in the video with actual knowledge of the falsity of those claims. At the beginning of the edited video, he claimed that she conducted her governmental duties through the prism of race, when he knew that the video referred to an experience 20+years ago when she did not work for the government. His comments since have made clear that he acted with something very much like actual malice, which is the highest standard Ms. Sherrod would have to meet to prove defamation (if she is regarded as a public figure because of her government employment). if she is not treated as public figure, the standard for proving defamation is lower than actual malice.

It is no secret that there is a history of prejudice against certain races. Not just African American's but Native Americans, Chinese American's, Japanese American's, Irish American's, etc. We all know that it is not a history that anyone would wish for yet it is our history and remember it we must. The operative word however is history! We should acknowledge it… We should even remember it so that we do not repeat it but then move on! Do not relive it daily or use it as a crutch to justify failure.

Until we stop living in the past we will be condemned to it!

It is time to stop using the past and shun the Rev. Wright's, Jesse Jackson's and Al Sharpton's who preach it because unless they start preaching optimism and hard work instead of pessimism and entitlement they will remain Martin Luther King wanna be's and will continue to be a part of the past. Martin Luther King was a great man who preached optimism and dreamed of successes in equality that are being realized today. The others are mere charlatan's who have it in their best interest to maintain racial tension and a feeling of entitlement by keeping some in a perpetual state of psychological need. This gives them perceived power as leaders when they are clearly preventing the improvement of race relations.

Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes believable.

We should all be individually responsible for our successes and failures and claim ownership of them. In large part all races are given at least equal opportunity to succeed today. Are there examples of inequality? Of course there are but it is more rare than some would have us believe and I would submit that examples can be found of improper treatment due to the color of their skin, their age and even their sex for ALL races! Equality will grow stronger and more evident as we learn to stop blaming our difference's and start taking personal responsibility for our individual successes and failures.

Can you imagine if a white conservative stood up to an audience of the National Association for the Advancement of White People (NAAWP) speaking about all the injustices white people are receiving by having to deal with a Ms Black America and Black television channel's, Affirmative action, etc. There would be outrage and rightfully so! But the outrage should be demonstrated by all skin colors! We need to remember we are all American's with the same goals, hopes and dreams as the next person regardless of the color of our skin.

We must bond as a nation and collectively voice our outrage against all who would perpetuate hate and then capitalize from it regardless of who that hate is directed at. That includes not only those mentioned but also the other well known haters such as the Klan, the Black Panthers and any other individuals or organizations that preach it. In other words stop preaching against inequality and then turning your head when it is against another race of group of people. Recognize that inequality is wrong no matter the race. That is why the NAACP is a hypocritical organization that has outlived it's usefulness and is now justifying an existence that is no longer justifiable.

Search your soul! Are you really fighting for the future or are you living in the past? Do you recognize failure as a disease caused by race and success as luck or skin color or do you see it as the result of individual effort or lack of it? How about speaking of an optimistic future rather than citing a pessimistic past! Do you follow those who say they are for equality yet preach the past?

We can all become a part of the solution or remain a part of the problem! My life has not been one of privilege either yet I received no special favors nor do I expect them!

Examples of achieving success against excessively strong odds can be found throughout history if we search for it. It is unfortunately rarely taught but if you google George Washington Carver you will find the story of a man who achieved great success against overwhelming odds. He did it despite having every reason or excuse to give up. He did it by not looking back but dreaming forward and by working hard to achieve that dream. Good thing Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the good Rev. Wright were not around to remind him he was not supposed to succeed!

Please remember this next time you give a speech Shirley Sherrod. Speak of potential, speak of success, even speak of dreams but please leave skin color out of it! It is not skin color it is desire that creates success!

Finally and for your information some of my best friends in the service, growing up and even now have been black. My neighbors are black and are among my best friends. You see Ron I do not see color. I only see people and want to help them but the attitude you displayed is exactly why you are actually worse than I am for being honest and if you think about it you know I am speaking sincerely and honestly. Nothing I said was an attack or prejudicial. The worst thing I said was that the leaders of the African American community do not have your best interest at heart. Now for a little story that is VERY true! I went to high school in the 60s in the Birmingham Alabama area during the race riots and was in high school when the first black student was admitted. If you could find that black student named John then he would tell you a story. He would tell you how this white boy from Missouri did not see black and white he only saw a new person in school. He would tell you how his integration into a white school was perhaps one of the easiest in the South because this white boy befriended him the first day! He would tell you that the white boy actually had some difficulty for befriending a black man but over time the new student actually became quite popular as when people got to know him they found out he was just a person. That white boy from Missouri was me Ron so go easy on your judgements and go easy on your poor me judgmental attitude Ron because there are many of us who had rough lives not just you!
