by PubliusYesterday, the NAACP passed a resolution condemning the “racism” of the tea party movement. They did not pass a resolution condemning the SEIU thugs who beat up Kenneth Gladney, an African-American vendor at a tea party rally. We guess racism is in the eye of Eric Holder.

Also makes me wonder how much liberation theology is present in the hierarchy of the NAACP, and if that is why poor Kenneth Gladney has been ignored by his "brothers and sisters"?

Use of the racist card is a sign of desperation. No one falls for that old scheme anymore. You can find a racist in any group. As well, who can prove the accusation these so-called racists at tea party events were not progressives disguised as tea party? This is one of their tactics.
Maybe Holder needs and eye exam.

David you are quite right, but it's the culture. If we don't fight back what are our kids going to face with the onslaught by the MSM? I don't know if I have THE answer but, at some point it has to be addressed. It's not just about Palin or Gladney but we as a people.

Look, the NAALCP just jumped the shark. Hell, they did that years ago. Now it's just getting embarrassing.
I think the naacp should be ignored. I've seen this getting way to much attention. They (naacp) ARE a raciest organization and currently misinforming people about the Tea Party to further there own sick ideals.

The NAACP did more than pass a resolution yesterday branding the Tea Party with "racism". They just relegated themselves into irrelevancy. That was the first move on their part. Watch what the next move is. They will try to get the Tea Party labeled as a "terrorist" organization, thus changing the rules of the game. It will bring Janet Napitalano intoit, with Homeland Security.
I strongly believe the Clinton Dirty tricks Machine and James Carville is behind this all. The NAACP is nothing more than a "tool" for the Progressives.

I think the NAACP is doing more to HARM race relations in this country than to help it. After all, this country is so bigoted it actually elected a black man as president. I'm not surprised, though, because if the NAACP actually acknowledged that race relations are a lot better in this country, all of the well-paid people running the NAACP would be out of a job, right? People like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would actually have to DO something, rather than live off of handouts from others. Just wait. Now that ACORN is on hard times, I'll bet you anything the NAACP will pick up where they left off. Playing to role of race victim is big business in this country, and the money ACORN and the NAACP made over the years proves it.

The White House is now branding Al Quaida as "racist".
They have already been established as "terrorist".
The next step ill be for the White House to reinforce the NAACP position that the Tea Party is racist. Then the White House will brand the Tea Party as terrorist, and attempt to outlaw it. The moment that happens, they better build a stronger fence at Pennsylvania Avenue, and put a few tanks in the Rose Garden.

Correct about the theme, these people want to control others to empower themselves. These organization are very similar to how our govt is being run, they live off the hard work of others.
Unlike some, I don't think the agitating of the NAACP, Farrakan or the New Black Panther party will cause a race war or even riots. Such groups abandoned leadership of the black community a long time ago (they haven't been leaders in my living memory).
They care nothing about the black community, all they seek to do is money and publicity. The black community's biggest obstacles at this point are internal, but fighting to save the black family pays a lot less well than criticizing a sports league for not having enough managers or attacking a greeting card company because 'hole' sounds like 'whore' .
Maybe I just have more respect and higher hopes for their constituency than the NAACP does.

You may be on to something here. They have laid much of the groundwork for this already. This will be a very interesting finish to the summer. The infighting is coming full circle, Pelosi and Gibbs are at each others throats, and I'm guessing axeljaw and rahm will be throwing down soon. I believe you are correct there. I also don't believe they counted on US. They always said and believed that we were lazy, and uneducated. They made their move, have the juice right now, but know what they believed all this time was fallacy. It is over for them and they won't go away quietly. + the whistleblower within the DOJ saying that the rule of thumb within the department is essentially, "we will not pursue cases brought by white complainants against anyone black"
+ video of the Shabazzes suggesting killing white babies and police
+ Michelle Obama addressing the NAACP and suggesting that blacks "increase intensity" (whatever that means)
= the NAACP passing a resolution against "racism in the Tea Party movement."
Now, I'm the first to admit that math wasn't my strongest subject in school, but there's something here that just doesn't add up.
I don't know which Breitbart page should handle this, but could a contributor give an update on Kenneth Gladney's health status? His story may be a great read, a profile in quiet courage.

I seem to recall that several months ago Mr. Breitbart issued a challenge to AG Holder to pursue legal investigation of ACORN. In the challenge Mr. Breitbart indicated there were more videos on illegal activity by that organization and others. He was willing to turn over these videos to Justice if they initiated a legal investigation. If Justice failed to initiate the investigation then the videos would be released near the time of the November elections. I await these videos with bated breath.
Glenn Beck nailed this last night with his show on liberation theology and social justice, at least to me it explains why the NAACP seems to have partnered up with the New Black Panther Party (what a joke) in calling tea partiers racists. You've heard Barack Obama say that his "individual salvation depends on collective salvation." What
does that mean? According to liberation theology, it means that salvation and redemption bought by Jesus
comes in the form of political and social "liberation" for minorities from white oppression.

This is one time color blindness means perfect vision.
In Tuesdays show Glenn Beck went over black liberation theology; what it is and where it came from. This is a Marxist view that has infected religion. In this view you have two camps; the Oppressor and the Oppressed. Currently Whitey/capitalism are the Oppressors. Blacks and other "minorities" and the third world are the Oppressed. The Oppressor must either give up it's power willingly in order to be redeemed or be overthrown by the Oppressed. This explains much about why the NAACP has passed the resolution condemning the Tea Parties as racist. It also explains the progressive love for the Palestinians, Cuba and Venezuela, not to mention others.
The NAACP members have long ago given up their self determinism and honor for other goals which are antithetical to the individual and the American ideal. We MUST win back America to serve as the shining example to the rest of the world of what it means to be free.

I guess I'll try again to convince my Chinese wife and Ugandan daughter- along the two African-American and one Asian-American candidates I've worked for- that I must be a racist since I'm in the Tea Party. They remain unconvinced. Maybe I'll have better luck when I go in October to Uganda to work with the orphans.
