A Progressive Agenda to Remake Washington
by PubliusA must read in today’s New York Times: (it happens)

With the Senate’s passage of financial regulation, Congress and the White House have completed 16 months of activity that rival any other since the New Deal in scope or ambition. Like the Reagan Revolution or Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society, the new progressive period has the makings of a generational shift in how Washington operates.
First came a stimulus bill that, while aimed mainly at ending a deep recession, also set out to remake the nation’s educational system and vastly expand scientific research. Then President Obama signed a health care bill that was the biggest expansion of the safety net in 40 years. And now Congress is in the final stages of a bill that would tighten Wall Street’s rules and probably shrink its profit margins.
If there is a theme to all this, it has been to try to lift economic growth while also reducing income inequality. Growth in the decade that just ended was the slowest in the post-World War II era, while inequality has been rising for most of the last 35 years.
It is far too early to know if these efforts will work. Their success depends enormously on execution and, in the case of financial regulation, specifically on the Federal Reserve, which did not distinguish itself during the housing bubble.
Already, though, one downside to the legislative spurt does seem clear. By focusing on long-term problems, Mr. Obama and the Democrats have given less than their full attention to the economy’s current weakness and turned off a good number of voters.
After months of discussion, and with the unemployment rate hovering near a 27-year high, Democratic leaders said Thursday they had finally reached agreement on a bill that would send aid to states and take other steps to increase job growth. Congress plans to vote on the bill next week. But some of the money will not be spent for months and may not be enough to affect voters’ attitudes before November’s midterm elections.
Still, the turnabout since Jan. 20 — the first anniversary of Mr. Obama’s inauguration and the day after Scott Brown, a Republican, won a Senate seat in liberal Massachusetts — has been remarkable. Then, commentators pronounced the Obama presidency nearly dead. Today, he looks more like a liberal answer to Ronald Reagan.
“If you’d asked me about this administration after Scott Brown was elected, I’d have told you it was going to fizzle into virtually nothing,” said Theda Skocpol, the Harvard political scientist. “Now it could easily be one of the pivotal periods in domestic policy.” But, Ms. Skocpol added, “It will depend on what happens in the next two elections.”
Continue reading here. Ms. Skocpol is right; the next two elections will be decisive. You can’t say you weren’t warned.

it must be amazing that this wealth redistribution has so much favor with hollywierd. talk about income inequality, they pile on the money, flaunt it about, then tell us how terrible great wealth is, and how it needs to be avoided. i was not for obama taking over the autos, banks, school loans, while not taking over hollywood. also i really want the administration to take over pro sports. using quotas, wait until you see the quality of defensive tackles. also wait until the outfield needs to be made accesible to wheelchairs. and allowing seeing eyed dogs to assist quarterbacks. now that is change i can go along with.
To read this author write in such a matter of fact manner about income inequality (BS), voters being "turned off" (the Tea Party Movement doesn't exist?), high unemployment (as if it's no big deal) and comparing BHO to Reagan is ridiculous at best. No one has to point out that the NYT will be out of business (with out a bail out) soon.
You must remember that Hollywood has nothing to fear. WE pay their salaries. So if they happen to have be forced to give their money to us in a redistribution program it won't matter. Most of the common citizens watch their movies so that money goes right back to them.
Ronald Reagan was a very outstanding and capable man of the people and for the people. I am glad I was able to witness his genius

End the Fed,
Restore the Republic
PROGRESSIVISM = TOTALITARIANISM
Obama is quietly reading the book that Chavez gave him and he's using that to reshape America what he think it should be. A war has already started between us and DC, ACORN and SEIU.
God you are stupid.
For starters, I want at least one home each from Oprah and Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg and every other Hollywood fool that embraces Obama and his agenda. I mean, if they're going to talk the talk, they might as well walk the walk and start redistributing THEIR wealth! And $250K per movie maximum. Anything more can go to "the people."
Real tolerant of you anon.
I don't even give the NYT the benefit of a 'hit' on the Internet even when I am tempted to read a 'headline'. I think that they are defunct, unless the "Free" government tries to 'rescue' thier failed "Business Model" in a "Too Big to Fail scenario.
We are really to "Slow" to understand Lobama's message, so he really needs to rephrase it and explain it again to us ignorant taxpayers "Again and Again or However long it takes for him to tell us, how wrong we are and how right he is and how we have benefited'.
Sooner or later we get the message! The NYT has a right to fail!
Amen, Grapes of Socialism. I second your motion to carry it across this great nation.
"Democratic leaders said Thursday they had finally reached agreement on a bill that would send aid to states and take other steps to increase job growth"
You mean again?
Because it was so effective before? (keeping unemployment below 8%)
LIO, I could be wrong and have been before, but I don't think he was comapring BHO to Reagan in a positive light. I took it to mean he is the exact opposite to Reagan and that the good number of voters being turned off is the Tea Party. Again, not being too critical of your review, I just had a little different take on it. I know sometimes I have to read some of these articles a couple of times to figure out exactly where they are going with their points.
Laugh on anon! We are taking this country back from Dear Leader and his minions of thugs one way or another. You are whistling past the graveyard of socialism.
"The least initial deviation from the truth is multiplied later a thousand-fold.”
And thus is the history of the Democratic liberal 'Progressive' left. Their future will be consistent with their past, to the peril us all.
Another Progressive, who absent a coherent argument, must disparage anyone you disagree with. Grow up and quit confusing emotions for common sense. Your BHO employees lobbyists in the WH btw. Who are you to impugn over half the state of Ky. i'm sure you love that liar in Conn.
More from Ronald Reagan, in his own words.

Jet -setting Dave Matthews wants US to walk to work, while he leaves his BIG 'carbon footprint' all over the SKIES! Give me a break! Hollywood sucks, which is why they haven't gotten a dime from me at the box-office in years!!
"Laugh on anon!"
Oh I am. And I will. Too damn funny.
Two safe seats you've just handed to the progressives on a platter.
Taxed. Enough. Already. After Obama cut taxes for 95% of us.
God you people are stupid.
KEEP TROLL-BASHING TO A MINIMUM, PLEASE.
Your Cheetoes are calling you. They are beckoning you to your sole purpose in life…to ingest crap…much like you ingest the crap that the administration spews out as fact, rather than the lies that they are.
And Regressives put a Communist in the White House. Regardless of what happens in the race for Senate in one second-tier state, we'll have King Narcssus I to ridicule for the next two and a half years. In 2012, we'll have jolly good fun throwing his worthless ass out with the garbage where it belongs.
God, you Regressives are dimwits.
Reading, he taught it at U of C before Chavez the Red gave it to him.
And where is all the money to be sent to the states coming from? BS. Forget it. Why would I send you a dollar to get a quarter back? Liberal econ 101 at work.
Unfortunatley my friend you are all too correct….
Republican Charles Djou won the special election in Hawaii's 1st congressional district replacing Democrat Neil Abercrombie. Obama won this district with 70% back in Novemeber.
I guess people are ready for change.
ha ha ha
Gosh anon is stupid
Just remember that while the grasshoppers are laughing and celebrating their imagined victory, the ants are still hard at work preparing for what comes next.
Even the devil has to cloak himself behind what is good and true:
One of the great deceptions perpetuated by this radical liberal Administration is the lie that they favor Socialism and the 'redistribution of wealth' because of their great love and fair mindedness toward the poor. The true agenda of the Left is to ensure that those in governmental power will be the 'haves' while the the rest of us will 'have naught.'
In truth, the liberals detest our Constitutional Republic because they're required to share power with WE, THE PEOPLE who have been given the responsibility of governing ourselves, and the Liberal Left does not play well with others.
the mere thought of them being "pivotal" in domestic policy (translate socialism) makes me want to go beg for a scrip for prozac. costa rica here we come.
Salary caps for hollyweird! I am all for that! We will see how liberal they stay!
I will accept ten illegal mexicans if we can ship out Glover and Penn.
bulk of the money has nothing to do with jobs. Doctor fix and extending unemployment. How can you get the job numbers up if you keep paying people to not work?
I just had this conversation yesterday. It was so great when all of my musicians just smoked pot, drunk themselves to oblivion and played kicka$$ tunes. Why did they have to ruin it and go all political and start spewing forth their idiocies. Dave Matthews learned from the master, Al "Don't Do AS I Do, Do As I Say" Gore. I can't wait for the next tsunami to pay Mr. Gore a visit at his new home.
Like you, I have been disillusioned with the entertainment industry for quite some time. I haven't paid to see a movie in years. The hypocrisy that spews forth from these idiot's pieholes is staggering and the only way we can really fight them is to hit them in the pocket books where it will do the most harm.
JULY 4th, 2010
Re-named: DEPENDENCE DAY
progressives are uniquely un-American driven by marxist ideals & hungry for power they without any doubt believe they know what is best for the world and will stop at nothing to ensure you are made to comply with their ideals.
history is littered with tyrants that held the very same beliefs Adolf Hitler & Joseph Stalin are two of the most infamous that come to mind
we must abolish the federal reserve and restore the power back to the United States treasury
Pete,
AND how cum all that gold in hollywood actors' bank accounts ain't gittin re-distributed my way?
an how cum Obama's 8 MILLION PLUS INCOME JUST LAST YEAR ain't made it to my bank account yet? eh….
inquirin po folks mindz wanna KNOW………
I do the same. Hollywood gets Zero from me. Hell, I will not even rent a movie, besides the fact they they do not offer thought provoking, mind expanding, products or services too all of US.
That's simple. It DOESN'T EFFECT THEM. They're protected. It only effects the middle class and upper middle class. You know people that ACTUALLY EARN and are PRODUCTIVE.
And now, what we have in O.
You don't understand. Hollywood will be exempt. At least those making Sean Penn's "kind of films."
Seriously. Get your passports ready.
Suzanne,
Check out Belize first. Oldest democracy in the Americas, english is the official language, and if you earn more than $2000 USD a month….they DON'T CHARGE YOU BELIZE INCOME TAX! Plus the divin is most excellent. And they have mountains AND rain forests too. Sumpthin for everyone.
No doubt, Yank. Imagine, an entire segment of the American public born from deception–no good end can come from it, and no good end will.
When ANYONE says they want to do something for you FOR YOUR OWN GOOD, either load and lock or run the hell away…..fast and far.
"If there is a theme to all this, it has been to try to lift economic growth while also reducing income inequality. Growth in the decade that just ended was the slowest in the post-World War II era, while inequality has been rising for most of the last 35 years."
This statement is absurd at best. This country in the past two decades has seen more new millionaires and billionaires than any country or continent combined. Perhaps the real problem lies with the have not's, as in not getting off their lazy backsides, and demanding what they have never earned.
progressives at least are keeping with the Saul Alinsky plan, which oddly enough makes them easy to spot and marginalizes everything the say. Go ahead start with the neocon troll talk. Ill be sure to remember every word in November!
Man, I thought I was ticked about this. I haven't screamed at anybody yet but the pressure cooker is getting close to popping! LOL
Wow! That made no sense … you must have pretended to think of that all by yourself.
One of the older books in the world has a passage warning against this liberal income equality claptrap. Let me see … Yep. Thou shall not covet. It also has a very clear warning against income redistribution, too … Thou shalt not steal.
Hey, do as I say not as I do. That is the socialist creed. Am I a believer? Not so Much.
someone forgot to take their meds today!
Peruse any lefty website, and you will see the not so subtle purging of anyone who is not on board with this Progressive agenda. Main street Democrats are being shunned. I will not be surprised when Democratic Underground is renamed Progressive Underground. I shall relish in the demise of these deviants.
Left up to the Democrats the, watered down, civil rights bill would never have passed. But they have no problem with the expansion of federal power and the replacement of federal authority over all of an individuals constitutionally protected rights.
The Senate vote was 73 to 27, with 21 Democrats and only 6 Republicans voting no. President Johnson signed the new Civil Rights Act into law on July 2, 1964
Mindful of how Democrat opposition had forced the Republicans to weaken their 1957 and 1960 Civil Rights Acts, President Johnson warned Democrats in Congress that this time it was all or nothing. To ensure support from Republicans, he had to promise them that he would not accept any weakening of the bill and also that he would publicly credit our Party for its role in securing congressional approval. Johnson played no direct role in the legislative fight, so that it would not be perceived as a partisan struggle. There was no doubt that the House of Representatives would pass the bill.

DittO Mr Lincoln……….not one thin dime in over 10 years.
Comparing the current ideologue jackass in the White House to George Washington is about as blasphemous as you can get. These Times writers must all be herded back to the padded cells after their shifts are over.
Love your comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hollywierd that is great. I am going to put your comment on my web site Home Page for tomorrow. http://takingamericaback.shutterfly.com/
"What luck for rulers that men do not think."
adolf hitler
Alinsky would be proud.
Excellent analogy. We are working and preparing. That is why that I am pleased that they are still disparaging us and trying to marginalize us. Let them ignore us at their own peril.
It is a light puff piece by the Times to support BO if any of his programs fail. The blame will be on the voters and congress not the anointed one. BO will be cast in glowing light against a blue background as the saviour denounced by the wicked, unwashed, red neck, beer drinking, bible thumping, hillbilly, fly over country, gun toting, god fearing, Constitution loving, illiterate, racist, conservative, flag waving, tea party types, Congress will be shown as valiant, stalwart, caring, transparent, progressive dims thwarted by the evil, dastardly, slimy, uncouth, uncultured repubs.
“Ronald Reagan once said that the most terrifying words in the English language are ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’ It’s no surprise that the Democrats’ big-government health care law offers no real help for small businesses struggling with high health care costs. In fact, at a time when our top priority should be to create jobs and get our economy back on track, this new law instead kills jobs and tells small business owners that it isn’t in their best interest to grow and prosper. It’s time for Congress to get to work on repealing this destructive health overhaul and providing real tax relief and health care savings for America’s small businesses.”
End the Fed,
Restore the Republic
LOL, there is a person in my town that leaves burned DVDs in several places of the newest releases. I've happened upon a couple of them myself. BTW, Avatar sucked.
You are exactly right, but another way to invest is to go back to the basics. As the old saying goes, A Country Boy Can Survive. My momma always used to tell me, when things get too tough, make things simple and get back to your roots. That's the reason I never left my roots and why I live in the country, got my own stocked pond, a garden and many other ways to make it if it all goes to Hell.
Another thing is all of this left wing, community organizing BS that they use in the city to " Help The Poor", and put a little in their own pockets to boot, was never forgotten in the flyover parts of this great land. We have always taken care of our own and not looked for compensation. We just do it because it's the right thing to do and these idiots run around looking for praise because they did a little something for the community. To quote our illustrious VP, BIG F ÍNKG DEAL!
People who did things for the right reasons rarely need accolades foisted upon them. They aren't doing it for the publicity.

You know gj,
I think this is the best thing to happen to this country in a long time. People sort out what's real and what's important mighty fast when the fit hits the shan. After 2008 not many people have maintained their "if it's new and cool I gotta have it" attitudes. And you don't have to be a genius to sit down with a nice sharp pencil and figure out what you need and how to it.
What's also cool is folks are beginning to see they CAN CONTRIBUTE more than just their high tech expertise. I've heard so many folks say "I don't do anything that will be of value" who are discovering that things they know and once did ARE of value….lol….one guy said, "I'm just an IT guy. I can't offer anything if things go to hell."
I asked him if he ever worked on a car as a teen, could wield a rake, swing a hammer." He said "sure, but what good is that?" duh, lol. It's EVERYTHING. OMG….He didn't think he would be of any value. Hell as long as you can do ANYTHING we are accustomed to paying someone else to do, you have intrinsic value. If you can follow simple directions, weed a row in a garden…nobody brings NOTHING to the table. No, we won't need our computer networks set up but we ALL know how to do something, even if its to take orders, bwahahaha. That I can do. Great indian! You show me how, it's good as done and I'm happy to do it.
I think we are REDISCOVERING our pioneer spirit. It's not about politics. It's about bein an American, a CAN DO, YOU BETTCHA, DIG IN, spirit that has saved our national ARSE more than once and it will again.
If nothing else…..this is one big fat ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT goin on. Folks are starting to spend more time with other people than home alone watchin the tube. They're out there talkin, planing, and networking.
Good for them. That's the way we'll win. Politicians don't define winning in those terms.
TOO BAD. WE'LL BE BBQING WHILE THEY'RE SITTIN ON A CURB SOMEWHERE WONDERIN HOW IT ALL WENT HORRIBLY WRONG, ahahahaha.
And then they'll get off their lazy butz and do the same thing….or they'll be like the jumpers in the big crash. Either one works for me.
)))))))))))
Yes, and the truth shall set you free
Henry Morgenthau, Jr. (May 11, 1891 – February 6, 1967) was appointed Secretary of the Treasury of the United States during Franklin D. Roosevelt’s administration from 1934-1945.
Morgenthau is known for resisting Keynesian economids and having doubts regarding deficit spending. He was quoted as saying in 1939:
"We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work. And I have just one interest, and if I am wrong … somebody else can have my job. I want to see this country prosperous. I want to see people get a job. I want to see people get enough to eat. We have never made good on our promises. … I say after eight years of this Administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started. … And an enormous debt to boot."
He might have become JFK’s VP except Kennedy decided he needed a Southerner and not a Westerner.
Today he would probably be called a Neo-Con.
More crap out of the mouths of the NWO agenda elitists.

We must be conjoined twins separated at birth or something, because after I made that last post I had to go out and work on my sewer tank air compressor. How many kids nowadays you think, would even know where to find the damn thing much less how to fix it.
While working on it I was pondering, which is where most of my intelligent thought comes from, in my work shop; on the point you just made. While it seems like the country is going to HELL in a handbasket, this could be the best thing to happen to this country in a long time.
I know Glenn Beck is a love him or hate him kind of guy, but one thing you can give him credit for is he has gotten people off of their collective a$$e$ and become active again. I know for a long time I got so caught up in just trying to make ends meet and get the kids through school that I forgot about what really makes this country great, and I have done more reading on the Constitution and Declaration of Independence than you can shake a stick at.
I also just got "voluntered" by my wife to do a presentation at her middle school for career day, I am a project manager for a construction company. The main point of my talk was to make the kids who were not college material, such as myself, realize that they can still go on to become succesful no matter what they did as long as they had a passion for what they do and a good work ethic. But the main point was you can never quit learning no matter what, education was a lifelong pursuit and that I strive to learn something new everyday. That goes for your career or the rest of your life.
you lose.
Well said LIO. I found your comment the 'must read', not this post.
You know what they say about theories, just like opinions and a$$holes, everyone has one right.
I might have to work my way up to that one, but always looking for new ways to entertain myself. I just finished reading "The Dumbest Generation" by Mark Baurelin. It's about how the digital age stupefies young Americans and jeopardizes our future. My oldest daughter is a primary school teacher at a public school, God Bless her, and she has a 5 year old who knows more about computers and iphones than the whole rest of the family combined. I've made it my sworn duty however to make sure that he learns how to fish and work on things and he follows me around everywhere I go. Kids at that age are like sponges and if we don't take the time to fill their minds with the right kinds of thing it's a guaranteed positive that the boob tube, internet and school will fill it with a neverending barrage of useless drivel.
It is a worldwide wealth redistribution. The USA is banning ever more pesticides to grow crops, so that S America can sell us food. The same environmentalists have chased manufacturing out of the USA to China and India and SE Asia to "save the earth" by moving unregulated pollution all around the world. The same enviros have closed down over 3500 mines so that children can mine rare earth minerals in Africa that are used in all our electronic devices; mines in Austalia and Canada have also closed. It is a worldwide business conspiracy ran by the international bankers to make more money and enslave more people.Just a proof of how badly these policies have affected the USA, the average saving people have after a years worth of work is $1500!!!Keep on slavin'.
Thank you! I passed it along to my son so that the younger generation can see the real story.
Many thanks.
Love that Texas Stomp.
After all this time and STILL you don't learn! God, you're stupid!
brinksmom…I love that analogy!
Avatar was the perfect example of lefty political messages covertly tucked into a movie made by Hollywood
Multi-millionaires whose $ money does not get re-distributed!
Folks, we have to stay active….We have to keep people informed, fired up, and
do whatever we can do to stop this madness….Send money, and if you can't do
that, volunteer to work for a campaign on the phones etc….This is not the time to
get giddy and too self assured….The Obumbleites are already out there saying
things like we were left with a big hole and we had to build a ladder to get out….
They are starting their election propaganda already….Let's not allow them to
get away with it this time!!
Do you think our President has an American mind? when he stands up at West Point and mentions a New International Order? and his frequent mentions of Global community? This is dangerous thinking.
and now he's trying desperately to keep the conflict going with Illegal Immigration only so that he can find a way to give 12 Million Illegal Invaders Amnesty!? just to get an instant 12 Mil Votes! to keep himself, Pelosi, Reid, Holder, Czars, SEiU & all Unions, IRS, Fed Reserve all in full Control. Is this ethical? Does our President have an American mind?
"The right of freely examining public characters and measures, and of free communication among the people thereon . . . has ever been justly deemed the only effectual guardian of every other right."
In short, the Left's agenda is to invalidate our rights to this.
Excellent quote, NY. James Madison thanks you.
It will be sweet revenge when all of the idiots who help futher the communist agenda are looking out from behind the fence of the concentration camps with the rest of us who didn't go along with the poilicies. Maybe then they'll realize that these people don't give a rat's a$$ about them just because they got a little money and are in a position to spew their venom. If they don't follow lockstep they'll be right there with the rest of us.
Why do you people even answer this moron

That is one of the upsides to being born on the wrong side of the tracks. Self-reliance and determination will take you a long way in this world. May not make you rich, but it sure helps me sleep better at night knowing that I don't have to call Daddy every time something brakes.
Then get rid of him permanently please . He is a thorn in our side and an insult to our intelligence.
The free market via competition achieves a natural equilibrium as floating prices and wages efficiently entice laborers towards where demand dictates that they are most needed. In a perfect market, everyone has the same wealth automatically because inefficiencies quickly implode and new opportunities are rapidly pursued, with the benefits distributed as others dive in. Thus the equilibrium leads to a very large middle class surrounded on the tiny fringe by headliners and by people who can't or won't do work.
But why today might the rich be getting richer and the poor getting poorer? Because of "progressive" policies that conduct hostilities against this equilibrium. Obama is a moron just like FDR and we will have a mediocre decade to show for it, just like the so-called "greatest generation".
Before the Greek styled disaster arrives, there are investment opportunities available, And It would appear that there is a important commodity more valuable than its weight in food, clothing, or bullets. It is truly a luxury worthy of investment in ware house sized lots. It is called “papel de lujo”(paper of luxury). Don’t laugh. When the market tanks, and everything is going down the sewer, and the proverbial is hitting the fan, there is one lowly item that will become most highly prized and literally will swell in demand. Yes, it’s papel de lujo.
Folks will literally beat a path to your door to acquire it. It will be ultimately the best product for barter of all others. It’s soft, feathery touch will invoke inestimable pleasure as it gently glides across your skin. That is, unless one wishes to use leaves, moss, corn cobs, sand paper or worse. Yes, it’s toilet paper and I would advise investing in vast quantities before the dark times.
And when asked whether or not he cut down the cherry tree, Obie Washington responded, " I cannot tell a lie, Bush did it.".
Because we sit in front of our desktops, white knuckled, squeezing the mouse to death, wishing he was in the room with us so that we could kick the ever loving $hit out of him.
Obama did NOT cut taxes, you retard.
Where are you living—in the Twilight Zone?
You can not cut taxes for 95% when almpst 50% pay no Income taxes. You can steal from the producers and give tho the non productive if that is what you mean.
He is not a thorn in the side, distraction from serious discussion yes but not a thorn…
Actually I suspect is a temporary anomaly, with a plurality win instead of majority win, but it still a fun and embarrassing situation for His Onenees and the Democratics.
Yes!! let's fight Big Film!!! And for TRUE equality, I demand that from now on movie parts must be awarded by random drawing from ALL equity actors.
Next we tackle price fixing by the insidious Big Popcorn and Big Soft Drink cabal.
As long as there are lazy assholes, there will be envy. As long as there is envy, there will be socialism, or an attempt to shove socialism down your throat.
Deleted again! I hope this doesn't become a common theme of mine. I'm reminded of a famous Woody Allen quote: “I'd never join a club that would allow a person like me to become a member.”
I thought you said that Obama cut taxes on the 95% of the 55% of us who pay taxes……
but then, you also said that you never once said that he cut taxes on 95% of us……..
See how talking points mixed with crack rot your brain…..?
O'Marxist wants to RE-make America alright. Watch for this phrase and then we have trouble: "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" (Read:Obama bestowing Amnesty on Illegals to get 14 MILLION INSTANT VOTES FOR HIMSELF!
He collects Voting Blocks to keep the Monarchy going! He only does what will get him re-elected!
