This is what real leadership sounds like. It is also a reminder of what we are now facing in the form a revitalized national socialism spreading not only across Europe where it is already entrenched but across this nation which was until recently the arsenal of democracy. I pray for our revitalization as a nation and victory over those who have besmirched our republic with their crass re-writing of our history and utter disregard for the rule of law.

Don't expect another Churchill of Patton to rise up from the next generation with their role models. We have sat by and let gangsta music, leftist teachers/unions in our schools, a laxity of community morals, and a runaway media/entertainment society steal our children.
There are many parents who are home schooling their children to become responsible patriotic American citizens. My children love our country. I don't allow my children to watch bad television shows nor do I allow them to listen to worldly music.
Encouraging news. Around 1,500,000 American children are home schooled and the number continues to grow every year.

The Fourth Estate is a term referring to the press. In this sense the term goes back at least to Thomas Carlyle, who attributed it, possibly erroneously, to a coining by Edmund Burke during a parliamentary debate in 1787 on the opening up of press reporting of the House of Commons.
Basically it is a viewpoint that the press is trying to raise their influence as an equal leg of the government.
Given how complicit the MSM Press is today with the Oba-Mao administation, I feel it is a VERY accurate comparison.
Now THAT is a good idea.
Were I the AZ Governor, I would simply ship all the illegals caught in AZ to CA where they seem to welcome hem with open ams (and checkbooks).

Thanks for the kind words. My husband and I sacrifice a lot to home school, but I would not have it any other way. I would be doing school right now but my kids have sinus/ear infections. So we have a few sick days here to make up. I tease and like to say that I teach more than the average public school teacher with half my brain tied behind my back LOL!!

It has just occurred to me that we, the general conservative population may not be supporting our home schoolers as we should. What can we do? Mothers and fathers do sacrifice and face down obstacles and criticism. They not only deserve our thanks but also our assistance. I thought I was a fanatical pro-Westerner!
While it obviously focuses on the history of England, it retains enough pleasant words for the U.S. that it should be high on the list of basic educational texts for both history and politics in our schools, instead of some of the anti-American "nonsense" foisted off on kids these days.

My kids use an AIG science curriculm and it is VERY good, yet still biblically oriented.

Yes, I am reminded of a verse from the Bible that says, "Nevertheless the Lord raised up judges, which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them." Judges 2:16. Today we need a Gideon or a George Washington who will rise up for this nation without desiring a crown.

I didn't know AIG had a curriculum and I'll have to check it out. I use Apoligia Science and am on the Astronomy Book which is based on the first day of Creation in Genesis 1. They are studying the Solar System with a chapter on each of the Planets. There have also learned Psalm 19 : 1 The Heavens declare the Glory of God…….I believe that God created everything in Genesis in 6 literal 24 hour days. I don't subscribe to the "Gap Theory."
John 3:16 is the first verse I learned when I periodically attended Sparks and Awanas when I was a kid.
My kids learned this year that 1,000,000 Earths would fit inside the Sun……how cool is that!
