The trick is getting the good eggs to run against them. Until now many have been reluctant to enter that arena. Ultimately to eliminate corruption good people are forced to risk becoming stained or tainted to facilitate the transition. This is where the two party system is failing us. There is no longer any room in the political parties for free thinkers. Members of congress are all treated as pawns in a never ending battle for power with the voters being thought of as little more than currency. Concern for the people of the national interest are the least of their concerns. Like labor unions the political parties are only interested in what's in it for them. Freedom loving American can no longer trust these political self interest groups to do what's best for the nation and it's citizens. We must continue to become increasingly involved in the governance of our nation as we were meant to.

Unfortunately, I think you're right. They'll pull him. Look at what happened with sleezeball Scott Lee Cohen – he "drops out" (forced) of the Lt. Gov. race, now he's back in the race for the Gov. Why? That's they're only game – confuse, misdirect, create havoc, to the point where people will just stay with the status quo. I live in Chicago, and I'm doing what I can here to enlighten people, but my hope lies with the rest of Illinois to vote the bums out!

Well Publius, that IS a great campaign spot. Thank you for bringing it to the attention of the Nation. I must point out to you that the public is ill served by pointing the finger at Democrats in Illinois though. These people are "ate up" with Democrat fever. They will automatically tune you out for speaking ill of a Democrat…no matter how heinous the offense or how true the accusation. You are dealing with a State full of sycophants. Reason is beyond them, and THAT is why this message will fall on deaf ears. I fear we can not count upon reason and common sense prevailing in (Ill)inois…now, or any time in the foreseeable future. They are a total write-off. Their voters neither know nor respect the Constitution of the United States. We would be better served to admit Puerto Rico as a State and allow Canada to annex Illinois.

I live in Illinois and I wouldn't put it past the state's Dem's to pull Alexi and replace him with someone else closer to the election. The whole election this year is crazy so I think nothing is impossible!
