If we eliminated corporate taxes entirely and transitioned to either a flat or fair tax, business would come flooding back to us. This is as a result of 2 things, lower costs here overall when you account for shipping costs and the costs of complying with regulations of several different nations and also increased consumer interest in your product if they are made here (this is a big argument that Toyota, Honda and Hyundai have been making for years!).

However, there was a Rasmussen poll out yesterday that illustrates your point about Americans having their hands out. 66% of the people polled say that Americans are taxed too much. The problem with that is that statistically, only 53% pay taxes. That means that there are a lot of people who want even more back for the nothing that they pay!
