Phil Hare (D-Labor) is the Congressman who said he “doesn’t worry about the Constitution” and then mixed up that document with the Declaration of Independence…then said neither of them mattered to him because, well, ObamaCare is important! Or, something like that. As expected, this sparked a firestorm, so Rep. Hare cut his own video. It is below for your viewing pleasure. Our main tip to Hare: Memorize your lines next time. It looks really bad if you have to look at your notes to remind yourself to say that you love the Constitution.

You know the fact that even after this bozo is voted out, he still has the sweetest pension and healthcare system in America just because he conned the people of his district into electing him in the first place.
I think when the idiocy of some elected official (like Phil's Hare(y) a$$ here) becomes clear, all who ever voted for him in the past should forever lose their vote for being too stupid.

It is totally amazing how these elected officals keep getting put in office. Part of the problem must be he is from the State of Illinois. This man does not know the difference between the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. He, then goes one step farther to say he does not care about them ! Wake up Illinois ! Like his buddy, Hussein Obama who we now know does not care about either of these documents either, maybe it 's just an Illinois thing. That could explain it. Redeem yourselves in November and put someone with half a brain in Washington.

Go back to your rubberstamp Congress where you and your cohorts rammed through this monstrosity Health Care bill, and a "stimulus" package costing zillions of dollars, vastly expanding government spending on pet projects but doing little to resuscitate the credit-famished private sector. Franklin Roosevelt tried much the same remedies during the 1930s, and they failed; they only worsened the Depression. That this is an historically unassailable judgment does not matter to the lobotomized knights errant of our liberal-arts education. Recent experience does not matter either: Japan's economy continued in the doldrums and the ruling party fell. But the boys in power here are smarter than the lessons of the past.
Never mind that we are committing fiscal lunacy, condemning the nation either to bankruptcy or ever stiffening taxation draining energy from the economy in mortal doses. If present demographic trends continue, an ever diminishing productive sector will be called upon to support an ever expanding geriatric ward. But don't do the math. Zeal is important; adherence to doctrinaire authoritarian nostrums is what counts. Government spending, government meddling, expanded and ever more invasive government is the sovereign remedy for all ills, jock itch and herpes included.

I was always under the elusion that our Rep’s had a rule book called the constitution , and thats what we sent them there to work by .
have you noticed how many if not all of our Reps are more like pollsters — they get a bill on their desk with two baskets — yes / no — the staff gets calls from political action groups that say vote yea-or-na — our Reps don’t even know what’s in the bill ! but if the yes basket has more than the no basket — he just votes yes regardless if its a constitutional bill or not .

Were you on the front lines during the Cold War during the mid 80's, having to don chemicial gear and wonder every day if this was the day that the Russians were going to blitz across Western Europe? Where you deployed to the Middle East during Operations Desert Storm; Operation Southern Watch; and Operation Desert Fox wondering if that SCUD missle flying over your head was packed with chemical agents?
When politicians use the "I was in the military for so many years" line and never state what service or what
campaigns they were involved in, that too me equals to "I never saw combat as I sat behind a desk for 2 weeks
