When Peter Schweizer uncovered evidence of insider trading by Republican chairman of the House Financial Services Committee Spencer Bachus (R-AL), and 60 Minutes reported on it, I was the first person to call for Rep. Bachus to resign. That was November 14, 2011. Now, with news that the Office...

Yes, repeal is possible, but with the public outcry from this, screaming NO, NO, and HELL NO for months, this monstrous crap filled "bill" should have never made it this far. It's shameful.
I say the next act is to stamp "Game Over" across Obama's forehead.
King George was a pussycat compared to the tax-mad thieves we have now.
King George was a pussycat compared to the tax mad government this country has now.
Health Care Bill should called the "STOMP ACT" considering Dems want to stomp on the Constitution to get it passed.
The care of every man's soul belongs to himself. But what if he neglect the care of it? Well what if he neglect the care of his health or his estate, which would more nearly relate to the state. Will the magistrate make a law that he not be poor or sick? Laws provide against injury from others; but not from ourselves. God himself will not save men against their wills. – Thomas Jefferson
We need to steel ourselves for a very long fight, to think otherwise would be to underestimate our foes determination to usurp our families and society as a whole. The focus should be on repeal as the enemy has no problem with doing unsavory things to get to their goals, and will get this carbunkle through by hook or crook, mostly by crook. If there be a need for unsavory tasks to be performed on this end, I am your huckleberry, I am immune, I am unencumbered, I have no fear for the love I feel for Country is real and just, and I will not cede.
The only stamp needed in this country is 'You're Fired' to every person in Washington, that has a goal of taking our rights as citizens of a FREE country away!!!
Bad laws can be repealed but the citizen's contempt for the tyranny represented by the law is very slow to fade…
A government that repeals a tax, maybe my ancestors backed the wrong horse, nah, I real British tabloids.
Repeal is possible in fantasy land . . . with the meek and lazy American's who inhabit this country now, a majority whom like riding the gravy train bus, repeal of taxes or entitlements will never happen. They don't pay taxes and line up for government entitlement checks by the millions. The gravy train riders keep putting their bus driver behind the wheel. So although there was a time in our history where the country was inhabited by a noble people, I fear now we're a country full of "Freddie the Freeloaders".
Oblamo and Pig/Reed are making me sick!

We traded dictatorship from London to dictatorship from Washington DC.
I believe repealing our modern day 'stamp act' IS A BRIDGE TOO FAR.
Currently we are having problems because there is no balance, therefore no civility or effort to make wise stately decisions. Anytime a bi-bicameral legislature is dominated by one party with the head of the executive of the same party you have problems (power corrupts, ultimate power ultimately corrupts) … Okay, we change that make-up to 'repeal' this bill.
Here is the problem: the majorities in both house and senate have to be above the 2/3's super majority (i.e. veto proof). It will be another 2years before you get to change the President, and he WILL veto it … an that's 66 like minds in the Senate, and 287 in the house needed to override that veto ~ you think the Dems are going to join in dashing their legacy? And should that veto over-ride quorum exist we are right back into this no balance, no decorum, no civility no statesmanship again … and I prefer never to go there again.
It dies now, or we are truly hosed.
As Miguel Saavadera and Roundup Logan suggest, repeal is possible but I'm afraid its very improbable. Stirring slogans are not going to be enough.
Too many Americans want to be on the Public Teat. And I don't mean just those on welfare. Lots of people say they want to cut down on government spending, but in actuality few people want their piece of the pie to be made smaller.
If the "Pelosi Family" goes through with this "deem and pass" BS, I'm going to consider "going to the mattresses."
I may deem their action to be nothing more than a massive theft, a transfer of wealth from us productive citizens to those who spend a good portion of their time sitting around on their apple @55es, and I'll take a pass on filling out my 1040 Long Version next year.
Unfortuneately, in the senate healthcare bill, there are "poison pill" provisions that would prevent the repeal of some key sections of it by the traditional legislative process, this would mean that the entire law would have to either be deemed unconstitutional by the Supreme Court, or repealed by executive order.
Check out the text here: http://dpc.senate.gov/dpcdoc-sen_health_care_bill...
click on the "full text of the bill as passed link", the text itself reads in part:"It shall not be in order in the Senate or the House of Representatives to consider any bill, resolution, or amendment, pursuant to this subsection or conference report thereon, that fails to satisfy the requirements of subparagraphs"
Then it goes on to talk about gems like committees on healthcare cost reduction and insurance guidelines, this is the "death panel" provision.
Whiny, man-child on Fox News with his stammering that any means possible in Congress to pass Obamacare, is fine with the President of the United States! Impeach Obama for not upholding his oath to protect the Constitution. Another lie from wimp, Barry!
What did anybody expect in 11/08, electing an inexperienced community organizer, hard left ‘60s ideologue as president. He’s doing exactly what’s been promised for forty years, and what he’s been taught by his anti-American mentors. Look for this monstrosity, healthcare too get passed, but just like Frankenstein, the villagers have the torches and pitchforks out, and in the final result, we finally have an opportunity here to vanquish ’60 radicalism, so in my mind haul ass left and we’ll cut the rope starting 11/10…or maybe before if they keep pushing?
You are right….I have heard middle class people say time and time again, "well if that group gets this or
that, why can't I"….The politicians even have a lot of middle class people taking handouts, and a lot of the middle class are thinking they deserve it, or it's coming to them…We really have a big problem!!
I didn't watch it, but I saw cuts from it on O'Reilly the jerk..The cuts I saw made Brett
look like a little kid that was being lectured too….I would have applauded if he would
have picked up his belongings and said, you aren't answering my questions, this is
a waste of time and walked out on Obumble…To hell with respect….He's a man, he
has to earn my respect…He's not my god!!!…and because he has a title before his
name means nothing to me!
Dan Rostenkowski repealed that Medicare bill when the seniors attacked his car…I
can't remember the details, but I remember the incident….So there might be hope!!
Let us not talk about Plan B (repeal) folks,……..we are,……..
still the middle of the battle in Plan A,….and me thinks,……
this thing can be won,………
Personally I think the only thing that these clowns are trying to figure out is,……
how to put a smiley face on this bad episode.
Correct me if I am wrong here. I am a little fuzzy on my history regarding this. But in order to solve this and other like problems with the British for good, wasn't there a whole lot of shooting?
Just asking.

This pressure cooker is going to blow before November. We have had enough.
We must ask all candidates, from both parties, "Which laws will you repeal, which agencies will you disband?". We can no longer afford politicians who will do things; we need those who will undo things.
Thank you cardon. I'm a little frustrated with the commenters here who seem to think that a rousing, clever slogan will do the trick. It won't. There's a long, hard, bitter task ahead to roll back government, and I question whether Americans have any stomach for it anymore. Even Reagan wasn't able to cut much of government.
I constantly hear what you've been hearing, from middle class or wealthier people. There's an awful lot of shady corporate welfare that still gets spent, and a lot of NIMBY attitudes that prevent spending cuts.
"Once more, the Sith will rule the Galaxy…and then…we shall have peace". That about sums up our situation.
First, you have to get a straight answer out of a politician – no easy task. Then you have to believe that you are being told the truth by said politician – a near impossibility.
I agree with your strategy, but I despair of it ever being successful.
Yes, and after the repeal of the Stamp Act, there were a whole lot of objectionable acts by His Majesty's Government and Parliament against the Colonies before much shooting broke out, including the so-called Intolerable Acts.
We've got a long, long way to go, beyond a few Tea Party rallies or voting a few scoundrels out in November.
Time to stamp out tyranny in D.C.
Actually, it was a truth from him – he approves of passing the bill by any means.
I heard Rush was off this week there compone,….. anyway do agree with you,……
Would be vilified by the MSM,… Hollywood,…etc…. to all end.
That's why we didn't abolish Clinton's Fannie / Freddie scam when we were in control.
They repealed prohibition. If Obamacare passes what are doctors that dont want to be govt. employees gonna do? I imagine the carribean is going to become a surgery mecca
Thanks for the great quote! Every time I think I know TJ, some one comes up with yet another great quote!
Stamps I would like to see:
on the health (steal your civil rights and be under permanent government control) care bill: "DOA"
on Barry's forehead: "EXPIRED"
on Pelosi's and Reid's booking photos: "IMPEACHED & CONVICTED"

Love the play of words there Chopper
This article would only be better id it had been posted on a day that the USPS raised its rates once again.
Rush explained clearly yesterday how repeal would be
political suicide for the party behind same.
Thanks for confirming that for me.
I'll stock up in anticipation of history once again repeating itself.
How about the fact that Brazil's Lula is in the middle east garnering support as a leader in the peace process. Obama fiddles with health care and loses grasp of key diplomatic opportunities. See my post at http://samandimp.wordpress.com

Yes, you're right, and the Stamp Act was, itself, a potent cause of the Revolution: John Adams' "Dissertation on the Canon Law and Feudal Law" blasted the Brit's aristocracy and clergy efforts to keep all of us commoners ignorant by making letters, papers and pamphlets too expensive via new taxes — in other words, the 18th century's version of lamestream-media's misinformation/disinformation reporting. As things change, so they remain the same.
