When Peter Schweizer uncovered evidence of insider trading by Republican chairman of the House Financial Services Committee Spencer Bachus (R-AL), and 60 Minutes reported on it, I was the first person to call for Rep. Bachus to resign. That was November 14, 2011. Now, with news that the Office...

Ten seconds later Bell got the first federal tax bill for a telephone call.
Ha! The picture looks like he's getting ready to make his first successful hit from a horizontal bong.
The beginning of The Singularity!
He had no idea. Or maybe he did.
"Can you hear me now?"
"How 'bout now"
"i'll call you back"
Dammit…
I doubt that he could understand his phone bill these days, too.
The ULTIMATE example of American exceptionalism. Innovative intelligence successfully focused for the public good.
NOW look what we have….. Festering boils of cancerous tissue called the Obama administration. Working hard every day to make life miserable for all Americans. Have you had enough yet, people ? ? ?
lol! ;p "Dude, stop bogarting the new fangled horizontal bong and stuff!"
When I was a kid, we were on something called a party line. That's where more than one household shares the same line. Sometimes we had to wait for the others – whoever they were – to get off so we could make a call. Weird, huh?
Not weird at all, Mike… My grandparents had a "party line" and it was a form of entertainment for my grandmother (bless her heart). I often caught her very stealthily picking up the receiver and listening to others conversations. She kept her gossip current, of course. I finally called her on it (I was 7 years old) and I was banned from her home for months…ahhahahahahahahha. But she never did it again !
That's one precious pup in your picture there…what a cutey!
Just think if Bell had done that today.
The Government would demand that he provide it free of charge to all persons on the public dole, for the betterment of the common good of the collective.
Do you mind if I put you on hold? What's that clicking noise? Is that Janet?
off topic:
In the battle for the crazy person of the day, who wins between Eric "I might be exaggerating just a little" Massa or Lindsey "I'm the only person on earth with this name" Lohan?
BR549
And was immediately put on hold
Old Alex Bell would ask, ……..And texting is an improvement on my invention, how?? I enabled you to
speak to one another, but you prefer to regress to a form more resembling the telegraph
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kendall_Myers
I wonder what Bell would have thought if someone told him his great-grandson would turn out to be a filthy traitor, a Cuban spy, and would rot in prison for the rest of his life, unable to use his wonderful invention?
I'm betting that he would have immediately set out to invent the vasectomy.
Thanks so much Jamesb….His name is Bubba, and he's a
Westie…We have a Black Scottie too, and they look so cute
together!!…We used to have a little girl Westie years ago, and
we named her, "A Girl Named Bubba"…lol…Being in Mississippi,
we thought it was appropriate……..
Watson. come here I need you.
Where on earth did he press 1 for English on that thing!
Or did a voice come over the line and say, "This is Haji. How may I provide you excellent customer service today?"
“No dumbass, I don’t want your healthcare!”
“Who was that honey.”
“Barry again, still shucking healthcare.”
Seriously. "Toke, toke, pass baby!"
Much as I hate drug humor, and this one is way to easy, it is STILL FUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNYYY.
now we have…..
MAGIC JACK!!!
May I add to the list the "other" Lindsey, the one who wants us to have national ID card?
You said it!
The party line was cool, I remember those, now it is called the Patriot Act
Lindsay Lohan is with an A, that big A Lindsey is Grahamnesty
I 'm sure he would be thrilled at the technology that has come out of his little experiment …probable not the control or the price tag though…but, thanks anyway, Mr Bell…hopefully you won't be erased from the history books , like so many of our heroes!
hey i want one of those kind of phones, it looks cool
Antonio Meucci invented the telephone not Bell. It seems Bell stole the design when Meucci couldn't afford the patent cost. Have to watch those scotsmen sometimes!
How would you like to hold that thing up to your
ear?……lol….He wouldn't recognize his invention
today…From what he's holding to slim palm
size phones…
"The number you have dialed is no longer in service."
Low-hanging comedy fruit! Somebody had to say it, though.
That's cool, a "Bubba Chick" Westie! Salt and pepper pups too. I'm a dog lover (animal lover from gerbils up to you name it, elephants) who doesn't have a dog.
I have smelly old cat, but I love her so {and she's not "really smelly"!} but little dogs are the best. People think I'm crazy but I'd like to hav a 2 lbs. Chihuahua or maybe a Pug. Your Westie has me thinking though….
Give Bubba and his "Bud" a hug and a kiss on the head for me!
eh, ya…I was up early for the Mountain Time Zone soooooo……yup. :-p
Latest outrages – end OUR manned space program for empty promises, and our guys & gals have to ride with the Russians, and end FISHING?
Hold on, end fishing? ESPN story…what a lunatic.
This guy has to go, soon. Impeachemnt or resigination. Some laws must have been broken by now, too badthe media ishelping him or sleeping.
First number dialed? 867-5309 Jenny…
Two lunatics from New York…
Jamesb…. Understand and study a bit of the Alinsky models…. He has no intention of limiting offshore fishing. This is just testing the mettle and patience of "normal" Americans as to their outrage and response. Alinsky directs his pupils (of which ObamaShit is one) to push until you find their "furious" mode then back off and starrt "control legislation"…which he has done with healthcare.
These are very twisted, diabolical and psychotic people, similarly parralled to Josef Goebells in the early years. The ONLY way to stop them is to abort their ability to fund their agenda. Thats called control of the House which holds the purse strings. It's really that simple.
Hi again Jamesb….I love all animals too, and like you, dogs are my favorite!!..My
sister had 3 Chihuahuas and those little buggers have a lot of heart….They would
give up their life protecting her…She had one named Spike…and Spikey had teeth
that went in every direction, so my sis had to feed him by hand…I was the only one
that could go near my sister without Spikey getting all upset…It might have been
cause we had almost the same voice since we were twins…We figured he under-
stood I was friend, and not foe…If Michele Obumble saw Spikey she would have
had him running around the block…lol…He looked like a little watermelon with feet.

And Gore would demand he pay $100 in carbon tax for every one he provided.
funny guy
I was selling Fords a few years back and I stopped by the customer waiting room to check a football score, that's what salesmen really do when they're "checking with the manager" and anyway, there's this enormous biker dude with a tiny chihuahua clinging to him like a baby.
I didn't try to pet the pup, I know how they are, so I asked the wife, "She'll tear me apart if I get near him right?" She tells me, "I can't even get near him most of the time when she's in his lap". I just laughed and so did they, Chihuahua's are very protective – but cute in a fuzzy kinda way.
you think he would have been an Iphone type of guy or a Blackberry?
