Thank God for those brave souls who rose up against Oppression!
As I recall Sam Adams tavern was one of the key "meeting places" where they gathered to plan their response.
Thank God they were willing to take a stand, stand up in the face of danger, with Freedom & Independance as their war cry.
People such as those may be sorely needed again in the future!
I'm not so sure going from King George to the irs was an improvement.
We broke away from the Brits, and now we have a

What we "have now" is the loop BACK to a "King George" system.

While the REAL Americans were working and trying to make a better life for themselves and their families, the 'hippie generation' were busy trying to think of way to destroy our country! My point was the British regulars were in Boston to enforce the Townshend Acts, one of which was a heavy tax on tea. The regulars (military) were both enforcers and tax collectors, in theory. I probably should have noted that I was being a bit sarcastic. However, it is not beyond the realm of possibility that our current "rulers" could use similar measures against the citizens of our country… hopefully, sanity will return soon and the potential threat will be removed by getting rid of progressives on both sides of the aisle.

Just wondering.
So did anyone pay attention to the news coverage of those student protests in California yesterday? You know, the ones were they shouted that "higher education is a right, not privilege," and where there was at least one person bearing a "9/11 Truth" placard. Luckily, NBC was around to assure us that these protests were spurred solely by tuition costs and that there were few incidences of violence, and they also made sure to get the students' side of the story. Personally, I think that in this age of uncertainty, it's good to see that our media gives balance and fair treatment to protests over the current state of affairs.

husband spent 22 years in the Navy, and believe me, I would tell
him (if he were serving now),…get out, or I'm leaving….I really
think I'd be saying that….Those that are protecting us are not
being able to put up a good fight, the terrorists seem to have
more respect then those great guys and gals that are trying to
do their job with their hands tied behind their backs….What's
really sad is there are only a handful of politicians willing to
stand up for them….Remember the two border patrol guys
that were put in jail because they shot a dope dealer in the
rearend?..They got the shaft too…I often wonder how we
got to this point?…It's truly sad and amazing, never thought
I'd live to see all this going on….
I really think that this government would have a fight on their hands, if they tried to enact military control in this country! I would hope that our men and women in the military would tell this administration where to stick that order!
Our laziness and apathy has created an environment where those who lust for power have been allowed to take it, or, maybe more correctly, those to whom power rightly belongs have given it away in exchange for the briberies of welfare.
Taking power back from the government will be difficult, but it must be done.

Our teenage daughter is thirteen proceeding on thirty. She is mad now that we censor everything she watches. There is really little on Tv today that we discover appropriate for any teenager. Several months ago, we discovered that you can Get Free Diablo 2 Items Online. along with several other shows. This is excellent as we can watch a indicate and determine whether or not it can be suitable for any child of her age. She is really mature for a thirteen year old, but there are items we still don’t consider she needs to know about. It is a fine line we continuously walk, but it’s part of our employment as parents.
