When Peter Schweizer uncovered evidence of insider trading by Republican chairman of the House Financial Services Committee Spencer Bachus (R-AL), and 60 Minutes reported on it, I was the first person to call for Rep. Bachus to resign. That was November 14, 2011. Now, with news that the Office...

The party of no.
NO to socialist agenda!!!!!
In seven months and 2 days the new face of America will appear to put an end to progressivism. It must be done. It will be done.
that's the party of HELL no thank you very much.
The party of Lincoln
That's not what I heard.
Good info. I hope the GOP re-energizes and frees US from slavery. I am good with saying not only NO, but HELL NO to all entitlement programs and government interference. Rock on Republicans!
Well you 'heard' wrong;
The actual differences between Abraham Lincoln and Obama…
Abraham Lincoln worked tirelessly and freed over five hundred thousand slaves…
Obama is working tirelessly to create hundreds of millions of new slaves…
Damn. Lotta trolls lately.
That would be a plank worth reviving now: Free the Government's Slaves.
It's just the Huffing-paint Post people…
Not worth a free thinking person's time or effort…
Lighten up.
Lincoln freed the slaves. Obama creating millions of new ones! Absolutely excellent point!

And yes…..we are, the Party of NO!
"The party of no" to this current administrations takeover of everything that should be public and free choice. Then you would be correct. We conservatives are tired of these lawmakers saying "yes" and not putting up a fight for our rights. Get used to it because the way we will be voting this fall, there's going to be one hell of a lot of no's to come.
Free speech only applies to Repubs/Tea Partiers eh?
You are obviously incapable of reading.
Run along now child…
Forget Obambi. The Great Society was the first brick the Dems used to enslave millions of our citizens. Under the guise of helping to lift them out of poverty they sealed their fate as economic slaves to the Democrat party.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.
How about Jim Bunning !!!
Way to stand up.
Happy B-day Republican Party. Now let's get are "stuff" together and roll back the Socialist Obama Administration.
This thread needs a poll.
We need to make changes at the top and the first one is that Palin replace Steele before April 15th.
We need to make this happen.
The civil rights movement has been co-opted ! The GOP, the party of Honest Abe, was the abolish slavery party, abolishinists were northern republicans. The Democrat party was the party of the south and slavery. The south lost the civil war. It wasn't long for the southern Democrats to realise that they could effectively re-enslave the "negro" by various means, poll taxes, literacy tests, outright physical intimidation. Once again the northern republicans took up the cause of civil rights. It wasn't the Democrats that pushed through the 1964 civil rights law. It wasn't republican govenors standing in the doorway of Universities refusing to allow James Meridith admission. It has always been Democrats standing in the way of Blacks. The saddest story however is the Congressional Black Caucus and the shills in the race baiting industry, The Revs, Sharpton and Jackson. In the days of slavery there were the field slaves and there were the house slaves, in many cases the house slaves, to preserve their position in the house would turn on the field slaves by telling them to just get along, don't cause waves, if you try to escape it will just bring harm on the rest of us harm.
The tragedy is that Americans do not realize that this is bigger than they think! This also is not even about what they think it is! The whole world has been deceived! Hint: This actually is good verses evil!
Sound familiar? Re-connect with the party of Lincoln. Investigate history, dicover who your real friends are. Investigate with an open mind and heart, who castigated Clerance Thomas during his confirmation to the supreme court? Investigate planned parenthood, how did it start? Why are most of their offices located in low-income areas? Investigate, why with only 17.8% of the population do 48% of abortions occur with in the black community? Who are your friends? Think long and hard about it. The answer is not pretty.
What you say is true, but then came FDR and handouts! This is even bigger than you think. FDR, you know, Churchill's cousin!
———–Oh How I Love Taxes, Oh How I Love Taxes! .. Oh How I Love.. Taxes…. Because They Rob from Me!
You tell me that they will Set me Free. You tell me they will do Good for Me
You tell me it's for the Good of Community! Somehow it will set me Free.
(chorus)
Just pay your Taxes on what you earn…Pay so the Little Children can Learn.
Then pay your Taxes on what you drive…Pay so we can keep the MVA alive.
(chorus)
When you pay your Taxes on where you live..The Government may build you a brand new Bridge.
Be sure to pay your Taxes on what you buy..The Government will give it to a worthy guy.
(chorus)
Pay your Taxes on what you eat..Just be sure you don't eat– too much meat.
You must pay your Taxes for the comb for your Hair..Come on guys it's only fair.
(chorus)
Pay your Taxes on what you save..Pay your Taxes for the Razor to shave
Pay your Taxes for the Booze that you drink..Pay your Taxes to see a shrink.
(chorus)
Pay your Taxes for the Dog that you hug, Pay your Taxes for the Hog that you love.
And don't forget to Pay your Taxes on the Hole you Just dug.
(chorus)
Pay your Taxes for the Medicine you take..Pay or you know you will start to shake
Pay your Taxes for the Train you must take and pay your Taxes for the Clothes that you wear
(chorus)
Be prepared to Pay your Taxes on the CO2 you exhale..otherwise the Planet may fail
And if your Fart too much they may put you in Jail.
the capitalist North defeated the socialist South. Racism is the most primitive form of socialism. And the Liberals are exactly what they hate, racists. They believe in affirmative action which dose nothing but give the govt. the power to be racist. They have groups like the black congressional caucus which are socialist to the core. And our dumb president dosent even know hes a socialist and claims he supports free markets but has ben in office for over a year and i have never heard one word out of his mouth promoting free markets, but over and over he promotes govt. intervention in free markets and calls himself a believer in free market. Hey Odumba words have meanings! idiot
Right on!
Yes, at the beginning, we were the party of no to slavery while the Democrats took our country to civil war to protect their right to own slaves. We also said no to the Jim Crowe laws that were so popular with the Democrats. We also said no to segregation while George Wallace stood in the doorway of a school to physically block a minority from entering an all white school. We also said yes to the right of women to vote. We would also never say yes to letting a member of the KKK (Robert Byrd) enter our party and become a member of Congress, much less the longest serving member of Congress. We are actually the party of no to many things that the Democrats try to credit for these days. In a few years, they'll be pretending Obama was a Republican and blaming his massive failures on us.
Light yourself (on fire).
We are now the Party of No…Hell, No!
It's time to step up to the plate, and do the right thing! Quit__trying to be a wing of the Democrat party!….You know, just__like the teaparty people know, what's been going on in __Washington for too many years, in both parties has been against__the people and the Constitution…It's been a power__grab for too long!!…Republicans, do the right thing!!
I think you'd better check your facts.
"It wasn't the Democrats that pushed through the 1964 civil rights law."
President Lyndon Baines Johnson WAS a Democrat.
"It wasn't republican govenors standing in the doorway of Universities refusing to allow James Meridith admission."
George Wallace WAS a Republican.
Why am I not surprised that someone who can't even get their facts straight wants to drag race into the discussion. You need to go somewhere and get your mind right.
Why don't you stop trying to stir up trouble, Dhasselhoff?
This is sung to the tune of….what? You neglected to mention that interesting tidbit!
That is right tuttle…NO to forever FOOD STAMPS, NO to your lifetime SECTION 8 housing, NO to your FREE HEALTHCARE IN EMERGENCY ROOMS, NO to your FREE DENTAL CARE, NO to your FOREVER UNEMPLOYMENT,…just a few of your super PERKS and a final NO…to you living off of the hardworking AMERICANS. WE ARE NOT TAKING IT ANYMORE. If you DEMS have the courage to have DEATH PANELS for seniors then SHOW SOME b@LLS and have the same DEATH PANELS for UNPRODUCTIVE LOW LIFE CITIZENS. Now your OBAMBI will need 50 csars to manage that panel.
Beam him out into open space…widest possible dispersion, Scotty! He toast after that post anyway.
George Wallace WAS a Republican.
That is a lie, if you actually believe that then prove it imbecile.
Oh How I Love Jesus!
It's better to remain silent and be thought an idiot than to open your gob and remove all doubt, troll. No sanity here…just tin foil hats and rubber pants. Where did I put that straight-jacket?
I stand corrected. He was a Democrat and later, an Independent. Thank you for pointing that out.
***oh…fvck you and your bad manners, asshole. May you choke on your own shit.
NO MORE Obomunism
anything i get thats free is never really worth anything, lol. I'm not talking about Lincolns maneuvers to replenish his supply of cannon fodder, I'm talking about the economic aspects of the civil war. The NOrth had a more capitalistic economy which gave it an advantage over the more socialist South. And the NOrth won the war, just like capitalist America won the battle with communist Russia. Capitalism wins the gold medal!
So, if you're having an economic discussion, why do you feel the need to throw racism into the mix? What does that have to do with economics? Also, racism is not a form of socialism, it is profoundly anti-social.
"anything i get thats free is never really worth anything, lol"
Really? Jesus' pardon for your sins is free. Worthless? I don't think so.
The Republicans must be highly effective because it amazes me how 40 Republicans can so effectively stymie the Obamascare bill, with the Democrats holding 60 seats in the Senate. Mr President, can you spell "divisive"? How about "boogeyman"?
socialism is anti-social it is based on force and coercion, capitalism is based on volutary social cooperation. If you really want to learn how racism is the most primitive form of socialism, and have it explainded better than i can, i think youd enjoy some new ideas by googling, ayn rand racism, and read the great article she wrote on how racism is socialism, then get back to me, i'd be interested in your thoughts after reading it, its only a few pages.
I will comment when you explain what your "NO" refers to.
Too many fall into this kind of trap.
Sweet!
In a nut shell, racism is collectivism based on race. The south's whites acted collectively in economic matters simply based on skin color. It reminds me of when i was younger and was buying an apple at the farmers market and the white farmer wanted me to buy his apple and not the black farmers produce simply because he was white. I just wanted the best apple at the best price, the color of the farmers skin had nothing to do with my selection process. Now if i was basing my decisions on skin color the market wouldnt be responding rationally but irrationally and i would be opening myself up to getting a bad deal. So racist socialist collectivist ideas do have an economic aspect.
you said…Jesus' pardon for your sins is free.
is it free? i think there is an exchange involved, in order to recieve the pardon one has to believe, right?
Love it – Please post it to Facebook if possible on GOP site
Nice!

Good one!
How much does it cost to have faith? ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Hanzo
6,000 comments over a year and a half…you make one mistake and all of a sudden you're an "imbecile". Shit heads like Roy make me want to puke.
The North won the Civil War partially because they had a larger manufacturing base, not more capitalism. The South had largely an agricultural based economy, they simply didn't have the resources to dump into the War effort.BTW, going on numbers, the North lost more soldiers KIA than the South, by about 20,000.
As another aside, the Confederate Constitution, Article 1, Section 9, expressly forbade the importation of slaves. The South was attempting to banish slavery before the War started.
Furthermore, Racism is a Fascist construct, despite Ayn Rand. The first Eugenics apologists were Progressive Fascists to the core(M.Sanger, etc.).Racism went hand in hand with the Eugenics movement.People think Hitlers politics were driven by National Socialism. He was more of a Racialist Fascist.Even Mussolini(who was a Communist/Socialist before he was a Progressive/Fascist) differed with him on this point. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Hanzo
i went to visit my girlfriend in Toulouse france and there was this monument dedicated to a christian martyr who had been drawn and quartered, thats when they tie your arms and legs to four horses and then giddy-up, and then drag you in pieces around town, so i guess this christian martyr payed a pretty high cost for his faith…
You really generalise the issues here, it becomes a matter of obfuscation. Your anecdotal evidence is just that, anecdotal.Sorry. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Hanzo
my true story was an attempt to make clearer my point that racism is primitive socialism, i was obfuscating nothing, making economic choices based on skin color is irrational, if your too dull to get it so be it…sorry
please L4S, don't be so hard on yourself, we all get something wrong, occasionally.
I always love reading your posts, Thx for participating.
I think I know what the F in Roy F stands for, Roy F*ckface. ;^)
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Hanzo
At least I have the sense to know what side people are on around here.
Re: Pelosi says she 'shares vValues' with Tea Party…
I think you might have left the straight-jacket on syn-game,or johnnyKnutz, or fonz, or dhaffy, or mika, or….hell, I don't know either! ;^) ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Hanzo
Uh,d'uh.I know what the term "drawn and quartered" means, asswipe.Your ego does indeed proceed itself, no?How do you know what his reward in Heaven is? Obviously he didn't think the "cost for his faith" was too high, did he? Are you a Moral Relativist? Is there anything you would stand for, upon threat of death? Are you an atheist? That would explain a lot, especially your ego problem. You're nowhere as smart as you fancy yourself, you've a loooooooong way to go. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Hanzo
Too dull to "get" anecdotal evidence? Methinks thou doth protest too much. Apparently you're too dull to present anything besides anecdotes. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Hanzo
I'm not being hard on myself. I just don't like some idiot who obviously doesn't know the first thing about me calling me an imbecile because I got 1 fact wrong about a guy who ran for President when I was 4 tears old. It wasn't that I was wrong, it was Roy's pissy little comment I objected to.
"No" is a good thing when it's saying "no" to the wrong ideas.
To the extent that the GOP is resisting Obama and the Left, they should be applauded, regardless of their transgressions against conservatives in the near past: they're doing our will–now is the time to give them a pat on the back, not a knife in the back.

He's lucky I don't know where he lives.
Tis better to vote with the party of no, than the party of "know-nothing's".
Certainly evident that the public education system has failed us. We children of the Confederacy, 150+
years removed, are weary of the zeal with which our fellow citizens, use every opportunity to reinvent the
wheel. Most of the South was red in the last map I saw, tell me, where was the blue, did you notice?
Some things are better left in the ashbin of history, left unmentioned in polite company, especially among
allies. We have bigger problems now, therefor we should gain allies wherever we may. It's time for the
Damn Yankee victory party to end. Quit stomping on the graves of our dead ancestors, if you wish us to
remain allies in THIS current struggle. We need to win, ever heard politics can make strange bedfellows?
Do you understand the meaning?
Communism, Fascism, Socialism, Syndicalism, Marxism, Leninism, Maoism, etc. are all just faces of Totalitarianism. However, Racism isn't always Collectivism, as seen by the "National Socialists"(Racialist Fascists), they succeeded in splitting Fascists world-wide by indulging in race-baiting on a previously unheard of scale.Hitler followed a policy of racial politics, not Socialism or even neccessarily Fascism. Race was always at the forefront for Hitler.Hitler was a Wotanist, believing the Aryan race to be the last "pure" race of people on Earth. He hated other Europeans as much as he did the Jewish people, the Slavs, the "Gypsys", etc. Kind of hard to "keep it straightforward and clear" when you don't know what you're talking about, eh? ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Hanzo
"No!" to human slavery.
How shockingly reactionary!
Harry, you seem to have forgotten to include the "/sarc" tag …
Trolls, it's what's for dinner!
Well maybe an unhealthy snack.
ding ding
end round one
I'm not sure why you think that because George was not a Republican, I was responding to L4Sanity's lie that he was. Are you saying he was or did you just misread what I had posted?
I second Liberty666. Read Rand and the link between race, tribe and "it takes a village" Socialism. Also note how each concept has "other" or "them" as a convenient tool of group cohesion, or for individual ostracism.
Did anyone else notice how lily-white that building is?
SARCASM! Don't bomb me!!!
Well I can tell you I live in East Texas and I'm 63 yrs old but I'm more than able to defend myself. And BTW George Wallace was only a independent for the Presidential election in 1968 after which he when back to the Democrats and served as a Dem until 1979. So he was in actuality always a Democrat.
I have gone back and re read some of your post and I have come to the conclusion that I mistook you for a progressive troll, I apologize for that mistake. I should have taken more time to determine that, I just get tired of reading the propaganda which emits from the progs.
It's in the post 'One of its central planks is the abolition of slavery.'.
Why does this get multiple down dings? Jeez.
It's not forgotten. This was not sarcasm.
I guess a lot of people are just instinctively down dinging this without thinking about it.
Citizens, do not react without considering the meaning of your action, isn't this one of the thing that the left accuses us of doing?
There is nothing wrong with saying no to a thing, this depends on the thing.
The Republicans were the party of no to the continuation of human slavery. Count me with them and for the cause of liberty and justice for all.
Yo Mick, how'd I do? ;^) ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Hanzo
lol, no only you know what his reward is in heaven cause youre a mystic. Im telling you what his reward was for his faith from the standpoint of reality, i dont have your mystical abilities. ok bozo
i guess personal experience dosent matter when learning about life, you're a real bozo, let me guess, since experience dosent matter to you its just so anecdotal, lol, let me f-ing guess you voted for the least experienced guy in the room…your hero Obama
"Racism is collectivism based on race"> You agree with that?In other words, Racism is a political theory or means supporting collective control over production and distribution of goods and services? The Antebellum South was Socialist? How, pray tell, would one revise history to advocate such assertions?I've read just about everything Rand wrote. I don't see some of the parallels L666 attempts to asert. This person spouts inanities such as "racism is socialist collectivism" and then tries to back this up with anecdotal evidence.Every political system devised has an "us" and "them" flavor. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Hanzo
The central plank in re: slavery of the Republican party was to stop the expansion of slavery into the territories, not its abolition.
Look at what we're saying no to. We are against entitlements. Entitlements do not encourage success and Democrats are all about entitlements. All government needs to do is keep everything transparent and keep the playing field level and let the public make the decisions. Government does not need to play the game for us or anyone else. The Democrat strategy is to keep as many people as possible dependent on entitlements, that is the government. The Democrats come off with this "Oh, those poor minorities. They can't make it on their own. They need our help." That's a bunch of bull. The Democrats treat minorities as if they are incompetent and need help. (Heck, the Democrats even gave the title of First Black President to Bill Clinton. Think about how condescending this is!) Minorities are just as capable as anyone else and don't need help. Republicans offer a level playing field where anyone who wants to work hard can make it. That is, success is what you work for, not something the government hands out. Where I live, the best run businesses are run by minorities and they are doing just fine with government assistance and I see the Democrats trying to crush these businesses.
you said…"I've read just about everything Rand wrote" just one lil problem here,,,comprehension
The GOP has become the party of Tweedle-Dee/Tweedle-Dum. Pick whichever you prefer, because it really doesn't matter which you choose. BOTH the GOP and Democratic Parties have become two heads of the same Big Government monstrosity which threatens the liberty of all Americans and the survival of the Republic. We are clearly merely stopping for rest on the yellow-brick, toll road which leads to the mythical, Emerald City of Oz, but which is an insidious facade for Fascism. Pay no attention to the man/men behind the curtain. [To be continued.]
[Comment continued]
The formula for our progression toward certain disaster, which we have implicitly accepted without critical questioning, is: Big Government + Big Business = Fascism. But, as we are unwittingly traveling this road to our Republic's demise, treading unknowingly on our Constitution and our precious heritage of Freedom, there are a few side roads that beckon us to turn in new directions, dusty little roads, which will lead us back to a limited government of the people, for the people, and by the people, but which many of us ignore. One such path has come before us in recent weeks and we must have the courage to pause in our headlong pursuit of Oz and to venture down it to see where it may lead. [To be continued.]
[Comment continued.]
There is an election going on in Texas now that will come to a climax on Texas Independence Day, March 2. It is a struggle for the heart of the Republican Party and its survival as it is being devoured by the globalist leviathan of which the U.S. has become merely a limb that does the bidding of the globalist brain. Debra Medina, citizen candidate, is the female counterpart to David who is challenging, not one, but two political Goliaths, viz., incumbent governor Rick Perry, a globalist minion, if there ever was one, who has presidential aspirations and long-time U.S. Senator Kay Bailey (Bailout) Hutchison who is the wet blanket of globalist domination that clings and suffocates the breath of Freedom.
In my opinion, this is the most momentous and important election of modern history, perhaps even in the history of the Republic. Texas is the world's 12th largest economy.
