I have to admit, I thought Glen Beck was crazy wen he brought his doom and gllom to the radio, but since he has been on TV, this Obama jerk has been eleccted and so many of Glen's prediction have come true, or are coming true, Crazy man doesn't sound so crazy any more

I' m a little concerned that on his show on Fox he seems to be holding back on somethings he would like to say but can't…I LOVE it that he has his trusty 'blackboard' with him at C-PAC!!!

You're right, anon, Glenn Beck is a bit hard to take at times. There are things about him I don't particularly care for.

BUT — He did this country a huge favor by taking on some of the issues. When he had the three authors on, the ones who knew the history of the progressive movement of the early twentieth century, that one group of shows, in my view, justifies Glenn's entire existence on television and radio.

It's the biggest favor anyone could've done this country, and Glenn (Mr. I'm Sometimes Kinda Hard To Take) Beck is the person who did it. I'm forever indebted to him, for that alone.

He's also done some excellent work in other areas of political thought, as well. He's not the smartest guy ever, but smart isn't the only quality that makes good people. On balance, he's a great American.

It's also interesting that he speaks from his own experience (hitting bottom and rising by himself).

Those were important shows. You can call Glenn a goon, and he might be one, but he's contributed a LOT to the general political thought within the last two years.

Now, how could the same ideology produce Glenn Beck and Ron Paul on one side, but Dick Cheney and John Ashcroft on the other? Something seems fundamentally wrong here.
As my final statement of the day, I once again beg all of Tea Party Patriots to denounce the evil Republican party and to support the INDIVIDUALS that love life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.

Sure, sometimes his personality gets a little "wacky", but would we rather listen to a boring, professor lecture regarding his subject materials. His guests are well educated in their various fields. His Off-The-Wall remarks get us laughing while discussing important and/or sensitivre issues.

George Washington and other Founders were Conservative minded.

yeppers here too. I went and got the books and read for myself what has happened the past 100 years because of Beck. He is sure an entertainer, but if you are entertained and educated at the same time, it's one heck of a lot better than watching most Hollywood movies (which I usually walk out of regretting the $20 bucks I spent – except the $8 on popcorn……

I'm sorry to see this CPAC end. There was more substance in any given hour of these panels then we have seen coming out of the obama administration, or congress, in the past 13 months.

Glenn was great, but I also enjoyed every minute of this year's conference.

Beck is a true conservative, not some Republican shill behind a microphone. He is dangerous to the liberal agenda, which makes him hated in their circles.

Perhaps the greatest speech of the decade. Its time to own up, understand what happened and for all of us to take ownership of the problem we created. Its time to look at ourselves and understand that the only place to go from here is up. I do not idolize Glen Beck, everyone’s trying to kill the messenger but the message is the message its time to deal with it.

Ron Paul and Glenn Beck just opened my eyes that not all Conservatives support how Republicans acted last decade (passing the PATRIOT act, building nations in Iraq and Afghanistan, TARP)- and I was ready to consider embracing your Patriotic Tea Party movement after all.

I sure as hell wouldn't watch a Ascroft speech and I didn't watch cheney's speech ( I still am wary of him ), I was agains the Patriot Act and Nation building in both Iraq and Afghanistan..
