Me like most people are so caught up with school or the full time job. People just don't have time to do research for themselves and go look up all this information. They just get spoon fed by the media. I guess it was a growing up thing, I had to learn to think for myself.
To all those people who complain about losing their homes, well maybe they should have thought of that before they started having kids, signed the mortgage, etc. Now they are pulling double shifts just to pay the bills and they don't have time for much else. Personally I would rather not work just to live, I live to work for a greater cause out there. Insert religion/patriotism here… not going to go too deep into it though.

I am just grateful my kid is seeing through it and that her and her husband are watching it, as hard as that is to do. There was a day I thought we had lost her when she was in college. I have had conversations countless times where people would just leave channel or say they are not into politics, (mostly my age group, early 20's). But they certainly don't mind rearing their head in school if someone talks about abortion or has an opinion on something that is highly controversial. Then it just gets drawn out into a long conversation of pretty words and bogus hearsay just to see who can get the last word in, and prance off feeling accomplished after one side gets worn out. Not fun
So yeah they don't pay attention and just they look like a blundering idiots when they talk. I find it difficult to come up with my own opinion on stuff because there is just so much information and sides to study from. Sure a bunch of truth can be common sense but you've got to right a term paper to back it up or else they are going to mow you down.

There is something very disturbing about the world Obama lives in. I supposed it is to be expected from a community organizer with zero accomplishments in his short career. Not to diminish the significance of their contribution to society but there needs to be other industries as well to strengthen & stabilize our economy!

Also when he mentioned College Assistance, he mentioned allowing kids to only contribute 10% of their income towards student loans. I know many will find that helpful, but Colleges are way overpriced they really need to reel in the amount charged by these Institutions 1st. Otherwise its the taxpayers absorbing the cost of the education for many. In addition they will excuse any remaining college debt if these kids go to work for the government after 10 years!
