We were elected to make tough choices, not run from them. On Thursday, House Democrats sparked widespread outrage by voting to authorize the use of the controversial “Slaughter Solution” to force amassive government takeover of health care through the House without voting on it. They voted to protect themselves instead...

A roller coaster ride that has finally come to a stop, thank God. America can now lick her wounds from the Obama Child presidency and start restoring Constitutional values once again. The socialist progressives are finished.
Amercia in rebirth !
I miss Bush, may he enjoy retirement in peace.
Although, there were things he did, that I did not agree with, I have sorely missed him this past year!! I don't like NOT feeling safe in my own country and he did give us that for 8 years!! I hope that EVERYONE in Washington was paying attention to the REAL reason that Scott Brown won the Senate seat yesterday, because it was to send a message to Washington that ,WE THE PEOPLE are NOT going to let our country be taken down by any one party!!!

The blame Bush era is over. We no longer will allow the far left to point the blame at anyone but themselves. We the People are going to weed out those who are to blame.
very well said.
Wow, it's been a whole year since the Kenyan born muslim doom prophet fear mongering usurper-in-chief has been in office?
Seem's like just yesterday.
For a gift commemorating your one year term as POTUS (because the next 3 will fall under lameass-duck status), the people have sent you a gift.
He's out sitting on the steps of the White House now, waiting for you to swear him in.
He arrives not in swaddling clothes……….but a green truck.
A gift from the people of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
You can call him Senator Brown……………………………thats' with a capital (R).
Never realized exactly how much I liked GB, it is quite evident at the moment.
George W Bush was a great president, and history will vindicate him.
Personally, I wish he had resisted his bipartisan attempts to appease the dems. He needed to treat them just like the terrorists.
I think he got some seriously bad advise in TARP etc, and the prescription drug bill, ETC.
But all in all he fulfilled the primary role of CINC and kept us safe.
God Bless Dubya, I miss him.
President George W. Bush hopefully enjoys a sense of peace and contentment with who he is and how he carried out his presidency. He promoted some policies I opposed and grew government in a way I wish he hadn't, but he was basically honest and forthright about what he was doing.
President Barack H. Obama I suspect is not feeling any sense of peace with himself and his agenda, since it seems to depend mostly on subterfuge and manipulation of the narrative, and those are quickly becoming difficult.
At and in the very least Pres Bush stood up and did what he felt must be done to protect this country. Sure Mistakes and calculations. Im not sure there has ever been a war without those. This country is beginning to understand the falacy behind anything of a liberal nature.
Great post. I did not vote for him either, but I feel just as you do.
As much crap as he took, he never once told anyone to sit down and shut up…
Miss you G Dubs! God Bless you and your family
Honorable and Humble. Yeah, I miss George. History will paint George Kindly. He did many things that were not popular but were the right thing to do.
George W. Bush, a MAN and a PRINCIPLED LEADER…..was replaced with a shallow, callow, immature, vacuous idealogue——how far we have fallen!!
IN NOVEMBER THE BLOODLETTING CONTINUES!!!!!
Good versus Evil…. "good" wins !
I sincerely doubt if anyone can become President without a certain amont of hubris. George had his. Obummer has taken it to a new level. Don't forget, the President can't do much without the complicity of Congress. EVERYTHING the Dems accused Bush of being, whether true or not, Obummer IS in spades (no joke intended). Bush has something Obummer lacks: Integrity and respect for the office of President.
President Bush, a fine man with a heart for freedom; there has never been a leader who protected the sanctity of life more than he despite the brutal, vicious beatings from The Party of Death to America.
Now that post was like a scoop of your favorite ice cream, after a fine meal…
…well done, and thanks.
CM Sackett
I sure do miss GW
I, like many others on here, always felt that history would be very kind to the Bush Cheney Administration. It's good to see so many others on here waxing nostalgic over the Bush years. This must drive the haters on the left insane. Let the house cleaning begin!
Oh, the roller coaster isn't done. Expect more lies and dirty tricks. The left still holds all three branches of government, and now they're angry (how dare we not accept what they tell us is best for us!) on top of shameless.
Another thing I miss about Bush…I never felt he was saying what people wanted to hear just to fool them into agreement. Even on issues where I disagreed with his position, that was what he honestly believed was best. I expect the Haiti Relief fundraising won't be the last of his post-POTUS humanitarian gigs.
I've missed George Bush since the day he left Washington. Just the mention of his name gives me comfort and confidence. God DID bless George Bush, and God blessed Scott Brown last night. I'll be glad when President Bush begins making public appearances and comments on the events in this country — his opinion still COUNTS. He knew HOW to pushback or push FIRST! For everything he did RIGHT, the LEFT does WRONG over and over. I MISS HIM, and this picture is nostalgic and somehow leaves me sad.
I think President Bush traded all of his political capital for one thing; security. While I hated the spending, and the refusal to call Congress out on the housing and banking mess, I think I understand what he was doing. He was a father protecting his children from a very real and deadly threat. He followed his conscience, and I'm glad that he had one to follow. I hope he finds peace in his remaining years.
Nicely said, Bush was a liberals liberal. Grew government and spent like crazy, but hopefully we can stop blaming the previous administration and start taking credit for fixing problems.
man i miss Bush
The Democratic Party is the party of Fools for fools. Put the Meth down and grow up. See the world for what it is or forever be cursed by unfounded conspiracies, paranoid hallucinations and arrested development. The realities and substance of life always elude those who grasp at shadows.
Bush is a true statesman, an honorable gentleman and patriot whose convictions are real and not rhetorical – a far cry from the contemptuous weakling who believes his own awesomeness makes him and his agendas infallible. The man-child and his party is in for a very rude awakening in the very near future, Massachusetts isn't even the tip of the iceberg.
God Bless President Bush, and thank you for your resolve, dedication and for keeping us safe.
Day 1 of taking our country back. Now to get the rest of the congress to realize what "we the people" want not what any one person may want.
I miss Bush. Bush loves America, unlike the current occupant of the Whitehouse. He did spend too much but that was largely in an effort to reach across the aisle in bi-partisanship. But the democrats always spat into his outstretched hand. If not for that his spending would have been muich less.
Don't you just love the way the trolls come on here, and thumb down every comment?? The libs can put down George Bush all they want, but at the end of the day, HE is the one the rest of the world was afraid of…unlike our 'new leader' who cowers to our enemies!!
Keep drinking the koolaid friend. First you have to learn the definition of Facism. Facism is when Government controls private enterprise at all levels. That is the type of Facism that was practiced in Italy and Germany. Facism is just one step away from Socailism/Communism. It is the Superiority of the State over the Individual that is the hallmark of these ideologies. If you don't even know what a word means why use it?
Don't be so cavalier yourself throwing the word "fascist" around. Obama and the Progressives are so very much closer to Hitler and Musolini on that label. Read Jonah Goldberg's "Liberal Fascism" to get the education that you should have received in High School.
That earthquake last night in Massachusetts was Ted Kennedy rolling over in his grave………GW a decent man more sinned against than sinned.
George W Bush was not perfect, no one is. There were many issues I disagreed with but at least I knew where he stood. He never blamed anyone for his problems. He never ever said he inherited problems from the previous administration. If President Obama could learn one lesson it would be to act like a man and take responsibility and not try and blame others for your problems. It does not matter if the problems were of your own making or not by trying to place the blame on others our current President has shown how immature he is comapred to Geroge W Bush.
Calling someone a "fascist" is the "coooool" thing to do on college campuses these days I think. Who needs an actual understanding of history?
GWB and first lady Laura were the epitome of class, they never looked down their noses at "ordinary" Americans the way our current White House Occupants tend to do. I miss them.
We are on the road to restoring ourselves after the Hope and Change that has nearly destroyed our country. Thank you my home state of MA for standing up and doing the right thing.
I think part of his appeasement strategy (though it ballooned spending) was done to get leftist votes on things like the Patriot Act. The Dems had no problem sticking him up either. Fiscal recklessness, either way. But we were kept safe. The Dems are also the one's misguided enough to withhold votes on national security issues to get their pork through. My take is that placed Bush between a rock and a hard place. TARP was a gaffe (albeit a costly one), and hurts his conservative bona fides.
The reasons you have Obama are:
1) George W. Bush and his tripling the size of government and idiotic war (for Israel) mentality and….
2) The GOP refusing to allow a saner alternative in 2008 (Ron Paul.)
Hope you lazy armchair conservatives (who still believe people like McCain were conserative – the media you are awash in still think so) enjoy the further expansion of government. You could have had someone even more conservative than Reagan (which wouldn't be that hard to do.)
Look forward to seeing and hearing President George W Bush at the Legatus Summit in February. A good man and a patriot.
Why would a fascist want to privatize Social Security?
Well, Gore the Chronic Liar was our other choice…. I don't think we could categroize Bush 43 as a Progressive. Algore, we could categorize as a Socialist or Progressive. The Progressives have infilitrated both parties, as explained on the Glenn Beck show yesterday. The movement took root in the early 1900's with Pres Wilson. Mr Obama's plans seem to parallel Pres Willson's.
Check out the new version of "Mmm Mmm Mmm Barack Hussein Obama" at: http://www.myspace.com/rogerweber
You'll get a laugh!
from Toronto Canada
absolutely, simply put. I am so happy for our neighbor to the south. Happy Anniversary Obama . Polite descent people can win, like a Frank Capra movie. George Bush also receives a present today in Browns win. To have been a fly on the wall at the White House last night, M'Chelles anry face Obama looking at all those pedestrian, plebes celebrating . America doesn't want anymore hollywood propaganda, sick liberal policies. The country who helps the world deserves leaders like Brown who work hard and believe in honesty and truth.
Last night 01/19/2010 Howard Dean On MSNBC blamed GWB for Coakley's loss! The Progressive Communists have nothing but a finger to point at everyone else but themself.
Yes communists, There is no other way of looking at this kind of government. Unless we call it for what it is this will not change. Like a fox in a hen house there is a commie in the White House! Time for us to point the finger and let the people of The United States of America know who they really got. The most anti American President this Country has ever seen. God help us.
Well said, but it is sad to see so many openly posting their ignorance by cheer leading for the man whose legacy is, "I had to sacrifice free market principles to save the free market." They have forgotten how he grew the government, increased the role of the federal government in education, signed the limitation on free speech – McCain/Feingold, was going down the Cap & Trade surrender, added a new entitlement to our bankruptcy in the form of the Pill Bill. W's overspending destroyed the Republican Party, and it is still trying to regain the credibility it lost by rubber stamping his agenda. Einy is right about W's fascism, or do you think corporate lobbyists buying favorable policies through campaign donations is "free market capitalism?" You ignorant stooges for fascism need desperately to google and watch "Zeitgeist w/ the addendum" so you can understand the world you live in. Meanwhile, you Kool Aid drinkers accusing Einy of drinking the Kool Aid should put down your own cups.
PS "Yup" Bush is a progressive liberal.
".It appears the truth must really, really, really hurt some of you" First you forgot to add the words "my interpretation of" before the word "truth." First of all, a spade IS a spade, in that you are correct…. and then you veer into crazy town. You clearly do not understand the meaning of the word "fascist". It has a very defined, real meaning in political science; a discipline which has defined Bush as a neo-conservative. No one is suggesting you have to praise Bush, or even praise a failure. You can do you. But do NOT begin to pontificate when you aren't even aware of the definitions of the words you are (mis)using. There are intelligent people on here, and some who disagree with you (hell, there are even really smart liberals), but your pontificating betrays a lack of maturity and the ability to accept the fact that some people might interpret politics differently than you.
Let me tell you on this alone if W had not stood up to these Man Made Global Warming Con-Artists who put so much pressure on him to sign these stupid International Treaties like Kyoto.
We would be locked into this job destroying International Socialist nonsense and these MMGW Con-artists would now be claiming the recent cold weather was due to their succes and that they had saved the planet.
Thanks W.
President Bush loved his country and protected us. No, he was not perfect, but you always knew that he believed in American exceptionalism. Our country allowed the lame brain media and the dems to portray him in the worst ways. Now we know how bad it can get and what liers they are. Thanks GB. Another truck is on its way to Washington. We the people are going to take our country back!
The first time I ever heard the term "New World Order" was from Bush 41..
I wasn't a fan of either Bush, but I do agree they were the lesser of two
evils…I also feel Bushe's policies paved the way for this Marxist takeover.
He should have explained his policies or fought for them instead of
acting so pompous….I hope with the wake-up call last night that we get
more Constitutional minded people in office….
I do agree, he kept us safer, and knew who the enemy was unlike this
fool in office now……
Thank you, Maryann, our Canadian sister…. Now.. WIll you marry me..?
But he tried to do just that. A fascist wouldn't. You don't know the meanings of the words you are using. That's my point.
""I had to sacrifice free market principles to protect the American people because liberals are good stick-up artists" (/fixed)
And I'm allergic to kool aid. I drink logic.
More to the point, Bush had a genuine love for this country and its history, warts and all, which the current President clearly lacks.
If you think they have stopped, you have not been paying attention.
Obama Blames Bush for Saddling Him with "Massive Gum Litter Problem" http://optoons.blogspot.com/2009/10/obama-blames-...
AMEN, BROTHER!
I don't have blind admiration for any human. We are all flawed. I've read what you've written, and can't find any sort of argument, other than you saying, in slightly bigger words, that Bush "sucked." Hooray for you. That took alot of intellectual heavy lifting. I addressed his over-spending (the political hijack), he was socially conservative, and made sure for seven years that safety was the highest priority. Since nothing happens in a vacuum, we were in decent shape all things considered. You are merely being combative, and have some immature infatuation with trashing the man with hyperbole. That's fine, your right and all, but then turning around and referring to my posts as drivel is called, in the psychological discipline, Projection. Stop projecting.
Then stop using the word Facist. If you want to say that Bush spent too much, and involved government too much in some areas I agree but your use of the word Facist is not only offensive but points out your real ignorance. By the way trying to duck by saying he is a Facist Minded Progressive Republican is pure literal drivel. It only points out how little you really understand and how to fashion a reasoned argument.
The troops miss you President Bush! They really loved you!
Number One the Executive does not control the purse strings. Bush Failed to repeal legislation but it was a runaway Republican Congress who spent and spent. As far as a lot of his so-called mis-steps he was doing what he majority of Americans wanted at the time. Bush was very soft on Domestic issues and let Congress take the lead, just like Obama. Unlike Obama he did not blame anyone for his troubles.
You're a complete tool. Good to see that doesn't stop you though…
"President Bush loved his country and protected us."
LOL! What a fool. Check out his membership in CFR.
I am a Republican and Bush was the worst thing that happened to this country prior to Obama. Just about everything we are now blaming Obama for was done by Bush. TARP. Bush bailed out the companies, despite congress saying no, he went around them and used TARP money. Bush was cut of the same cloth as Obama and until we acknowledge that and quit defending him we will have no credibility in criticizing Obama.
We have to stop fascism in this country and that is what both of Obama and Bush were about. It is the nexus of big business and government colluding in their best interest. The rest of us are subjects to the laws they collude to enforce on us.
What's even funnier is that he hates jews but calls himself The Fonz. Wasn't Henry Winkler jewish??
History will show the GW lived his ideals and kept the faith with the American people. To see him with the members of our Armed Forces was to witness the respect they felt for the man…..you sure don't see that with the current White House gate crasher….and his evil czars
Ah, the evil Israel.
The creepy thing is, TheFonz, that Israel has so much power that they actually made you write your anti-Israel post!
If someone calls themselves cool it is the most uncool thing you can do. If someone calls them selves intelligent look out for a disjointed argument. Keep laughing fool.
Like him or not,Bush loves this country.Pres.Oreo does not.I have NEVER feared the government before but it's time to push back.Stand for Freedom today-tomorrow may be to late.
GWB
He was a Texas politician who answered his country's call in need!
He brought dignity to the Oval office!
He brought pride to the American people!
He brought bi-partisanship to Washington!
He brought protection to our country!
He brought his wife Laura to Washington and she made America proud!
The MSM spit on him.
The Democratic Party demonized him.
The Republican Party manipulated him.
BUT HISTORY WILL SHOW THAT THE MSM, THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY, AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY WERE WRONG ABOUT GWB.
God Bless GWB and Laura. He taught me to "take" the crap from the idiots, not get upset, stay focused on what you believe, and time will reveal the Truth!
Even though I didn't agree with ALL the Bush policies……at least I could sleep peacefully at night with Bush-Cheney in office.
I thank Bush for his Service to our Country on every level. He never spoke evil of any previous Administration or this one which has come after.. proof he is a good man. The Hate that those on the Right conveyed daily has put us where we are today. May the Chris Matthers, Keith Oberberman, Dionne, Sullivan and the New York Times suffer for their untrure, unjust Hate.
You know folks of the 912. I was wondering if any good would come out of it if we were to Start collecting the various links necessary to share with other people the Law of Nations, Congressional Globe and “Minor v. Happersett” and then begin writing about the things we are still learning about of the Law of Nations, Congressional Globe and “Minor v. Happersett” amongst each other and to also share with others.
And maybe we can Begin with the earliest citation first! Let’s Show people where on the internet they can for themselves confirm that there are three examples on HISTORICAL RECORD that define ARTICLE 2 SECTION 1 and NATURAL BORN CITIZEN to be born in America to a mother and father who are both citizens of the United States of America! That would be the Law of Nations. Next would be the Congressional Globe and then “Minor v. Happersett.” It sounds like a good idea to me. Any good thoughts? It seems OK to me!
I meant to say Bush went around congress to bail out the auto companies.
Perfect chopper. Thanks.
I never felt compelled to keep 'on guard' with George W., like I do Obama. The flame on the candle of trust went out one year ago today.
GW will do well and be remembered well. If anything the man-cub in chief will ensure it.
What a difference a year makes.
Miss you Mr. President. Thank you for thinking about our military and taking care of our guys and the families.
I miss W.
But what happens next?
It depends on who holds:
THE WHIP HAND

If you are as sick of Bush bashing as I am then here is the other side: Top achievements: (and don't forget to include defeating liberal media darlings Ann Richards, Al Gore and the haughty John Kerry – who's grades were lower than Bush's, btw.)
Here’s the list, so far:
1 – Protected us – we have not been attacked again since 9/11; 2- Jobs for all, the economy is booming, greatest in history of nation, record # of people employed, 53 consecutive months of job growth is longest in nation’s history; 3 -freed 50 MILLION people in Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. 4 – freed the black African nation of Liberia – Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton never accomplished anything close- 5 – Lower interest rates have enabled many to afford their own homes who otherwise couldn't; 6 – *record wage growth that has also allowed record consumer spending; 7 – record low number of people joining unions which means more self-reliant citizens and better employers; 8 – IRA agreed to give up their weapons; 9 – Lybia gave up its nuclear weapons program the parts of which are now in Oak Ridge, TN; 10 – enabled millions of formerly oppressed women to pursue education, run for office, obtain jobs & professions; 11 – Turned Pakistan – a nuclear powered nation from enemy to ally; 12 – guaranteed a conservative Supreme Court for the next generation; 13 – cut taxes & attempted to eliminate the death tax but Dems won't allow it; 14-attempted to privatize Social Security but Dems won't allow it; 15 – no child act has raised education excellence nationwide; 16 – inflation has been kept in check; 17 – restored strength and morale of our military; 18 – drove Syria out of Lebanon; 19 – North Korea shuts down it's nuclear program – reallyThe agreement, reached after three days of talks, requires North Korea to finish disabling its main nuclear facility by the end of October. Meanwhile the United States, China and the other three nations taking part would complete promised deliveries of fuel oil and other economic aid.Beyond that, the envoys agreed to a robust verification team of experts who will visit North Korean nuclear facilities, review its documents and interview its technical experts, ; 20 – stock market hits another record high and 14000 for first time in history. 21 – life expectancy reaches almost 78 which is highest in American history; 22 – American workers most productive in the world; 23 – record amount of money spent at box office (so why do you hate him, Hollywood?); 24 – Broke up the A. Q. Kahn nuclear proliferation ring; 25 – implemented a missle defense system – a major achievement by President Bush in keeping his promise to better defend his country and the citizens therein. 26 – Largest EPA settlement to reduce acid rain in U.S. history; 27 – highest sales of American export products in nation’s history; 28 – since the 2003 tax cuts, the Federal deficit has gone down by one quarter of a trillion dollars; 29 – good news on the cancer front: Death rates are dropping faster than ever, thanks to new progress against colorectal cancer ; 30 – A record 25.8 million passengers took Amtrak in the last fiscal year, an increase of 1.5 million over fiscal 2006, the national passenger railroad said Tuesday – 31-A US F-16 fighter used an air-to-air missile to destroy a sounding rocket in its boost phase for the first time this week in a test of a new missile defense concept, US spokesmen said Tuesday; – 32 – NIE reports that Iran stopped nuclear weapons program in 2003(same time as Lybia); 33 – prescription drugs for seniors; 34 – peace in the middle East BETHLEHEM, West Bank: Encouraged by renewed peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians, Christian pilgrims from around the world converged on Jesus' traditional birthplace Monday to celebrate Christmas — a palpable contrast to the sparse crowds of recent years. The diverse mix of people included festive American tourists, clergymen in brown flowing robes and Palestinian scouts wearing kilts and playing bagpipes. 35 – added prescription drug benefits to the medicare program 36 – Condoleza Rice may be “only” the second woman and the second African-American to be Secretary of State, but she is indisputably the highest-ranking black female official ever to have served in any branch of the United States government. 37. June 27, 2008 7:30 AM, YONGBYON, North Korea — North Korea destroyed the most visible symbol of its nuclear weapons program Friday in a sign of its commitment to stop making plutonium for atomic bombs. 38. WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Cancer rates have dropped for the first time in the United States and previous declines in cancer deaths are accelerating, a report released on Tuesday showed as cancer-fighting efforts produced solid results.
I always have been behind GWB. Don't care what y'all think. I hate to communist we have in office now and will never back him. Get the feds out of our life.
Well, One thing Obama and the folks on your side did was put the lazy Conservatives on a quik fitness regimen. We're off our sofas now Fonzie, can you hear us coming to take it all back?
George Bush is a man…therefore not perfect. I admire all who aspire to freedom for the people, small government and strong military to protect America. I do not admire any man…only his principles. Bush had principles to admire. Our current administration has no admirable principles…only power to grab.
Obama's election was an aberration. The lemmings are finally realizing Obama's just an empty suit with no real world experience and a nation destroying socialist agenda.
I did not vote for the man either time, but I came to admire him a great deal. He didn't spend his whole time as president pointing to his predecessor to take the blame for him; he took the blame and took the heat. I did not hear the man whine and complain. He took the hits as the "decider". (One of my favorite things he said about himself.) I have to say, he won me over and I came to admire the man quite allot. I feel that his ardent protection of America and Americans without the need to be seen as popular or likeable in the world kept us much safer than the current administration will. We are only through the first year, three more to go.
I miss George.
"Today, last year, George W. Bush left the Presidency…"
And one year later, a republican won Massachusetts Ted Kennedy's seat… Rings a bell?
Bush is a good man, but was a bad president. The Iraq war was started to rid Iraq of WMD and Saddam, a mistake, though probably an honest one. Saddam wanted other countries to think he had WMD, while trying to make the UN think he did not. But even though the original premiss for the war was wrong, once we had taken out Saddam and made sure there were no WMDs in Iraq, then we should have left, because the mission was accomplished. Come home. Sure we would leave Iraq a clusterfuck. That would be a shame. War is hell. That is why you want to have a damn good reason to fight one. Bush should have paid the price politically and not run for a second term. Leaving Iraq a clusterfuck would not be interpreted as a failure to the leaders of Iran and North Korea, they wouldn't think "Ha ha, the US failed to create a democracy of Iraq" they would think "Holy shit, the US just killed the leader of Iraq and made sure there were no WMDs"
Have to admit, he very seldom complained about "the previous administration" the way the present administration is doing.
As one who voted for him twice, I do feel at more liberty to cite his shortcomings, which I have done so elsewhere. However, the main issue in all of this is how much this present administration has done to make us long for the days of the previous administration.
George W. Bush relentlessly attacked our enemies. Obama relentlessly attacks us.
I'm one of the ones who's missing you, Mr. Bush. Thank you for all you did for our country.
Also notice how he's stayed quiet regarding all the blame his successor has placed on him. I believe that's called dignity…
As an ex-soldier that wore a uniform on 9.11, I have to say that I am profoundly grateful that we had President Bush in office at the time. He did all of the right things that day, and the weeks immediately following. I know it is hard for the left to even think about it, but Bush was the right man for the job that day. Too much partisan politics and media bias has horribly tarnished his legacy, but I know the truth. I will not forget.

George W. Bush was not a good President nor was Ronald Regan. One invaded Granada (Granada???) the other Iraq without good reason.
You sure do not use it properly. Just keep using words you do not know the meanings of. It makes you sound so smart and cool.
After Brown's victory last night was the first time since Bush left that I felt safe again. Not because the fight for America is over, but because the insanity of the supermajority is over for now.
***WATCH! DON'T GIVE UP!!! THE "PROGRESSIVES" MUST BE STOPPED! THEY HAVE THE SAME AGENDA HAS ISLAM, DESTROY OUR ECONOMY!!!
***CAUTION: The BUSH FATHER/SON TEAM (3rd DEGREE MASONS) WERE PROGRESSIVES TOO! IT'S THE CANDIDATE, NOT NECESSARILY THE PARTY!!! NOTE: CARTER HAD TO BECOME a "MASON" TO BECOME PRESIDENT!!! MASONS = PROGRESSIVE=MARXISM!!!
I really hope the CA is NEXT! I'm doing my part.
GW Bush is an honorable man.
If you do not have anything to offer besides calling people names and using terms like fascist which you do not understand please refrain from sharing with the rest of us your ignorance. Leftist fool.
He wasn't perfect, but he at least seems genuine in what he did. He is truly an honorable man and I must say I miss that quality alot, I hope we can see someone like that again soon.
You truly do represent the liberal, your arrogant and ignorant.
Most of these achievements could only be loved by a big government authoritarians. I grant you a few are really good. But funny how most of the best ones either never happened or are subject to a sunset clause.
Viva la Bush the cancer fighting President.
What a joke…
Love Bush if you want, but he is not pro-freedom or conservative.
Grenada
God Bless George W. Bush.
Nutn2say, On the 912 Communique we're talking about re-doing the eligibility segment on the site currently called Tracking the Potus. Re-Name it to more of an eligibility name and adding Historical context and reasoning, as well as any recent news items concerning Obama's lack of qualifications. Plus the site might be opening up to all, so it will have accessibility. So let me know, I am assuming from your post that you are interested.
i see you got hammered for telling the truth.. most people hate the truth and thus why our country is in trouble.. we either hold people accountable or we will lose our country.. country before party before there is no country.
This is a great photo of George. Who is the photographer? Really, a very talented photographer. The photo actually illustrates the man’s introspection; I wonder what he was thinking of at the time? I imagine it was taken on or near his last day in office as he looks like an Older George who has had the crap kicked out of him. That is no commentary on George; they all look like hell by the time they leave office. Any time I see someone running for the presidency that seems to think that it is so easy to "multi-task" your way through the job I am afraid, very afraid. I have never seen photos of a group of people who age as drastically as the Presidents. Look at how much President Obama has aged in just one year. The job must suck the life out of them.
I still miss George, what a good guy. I certainly hope that he know that History will judge him as a strong President who wanted to Protect the nations citizens. I certainly think of him that way.
I miss President Bush and what a nightmare mr zerO is. I have never feared for my Country like I have since the marxist muslim took office and started putting his thugs in. Thank God that Jehovah is the only true God of this world and his plan will be fullfilled.
God Bless President Bush
God Bless America and keep us safe !!!
"President Bush"….Thank You for being a liberator for freedom and keeping many ungrateful American's safe for 8 years. The grateful "ones" are fighting hard to follow your lead in an uphill battle against a new administration who is neither competent or moral. God's speed to you, President Bush and the best first lady ever, Laura Bush.
"1) George W. Bush and his tripling the size of government"
True.
"and idiotic war (for Israel) mentality and…"
False. The war was part of the reason why Obama came to power, but it was neither idiotic or for Israel.
"2) The GOP refusing to allow a saner alternative in 2008 (Ron Paul.) "
GHAAAHAHAAHA!!!!!!!!!
You are actually proposing Ron Paul as a SANER alternative with a straight face?
Sorry, but if nothing else, his courting of all the scum on the fringe would have ruined the GOP brand more than it already has been.
"Hope you lazy armchair conservatives (who still believe people like McCain were conserative – the media you are awash in still think so) enjoy the further expansion of government."
No we don't, and we were under NO illusion that McCain was in any way a Conservative save as a matter of detail that he was more right than the die hard Left (which isn't saying much).
"You could have had someone even more conservative than Reagan (which wouldn't be that hard to do.)"
Yes it would be. Because we need not only someone with economic sanity, but someone who knows something about the World and history, and who isn't proposing we hole up in fortress America and wait for the first enemy force to acquire a bunker buster and blow us ALL up.
Idiot.
Can you believe this story from Denver?
I just read this and had to share it with the community.
This poor woman, just can’t believe that this actually happens in this day and age, what a shame.
(CNN) — Three police cars pulled into Christina FourHorn’s front yard one afternoon just before she was supposed to pick up her daughter at school. The officers had a warrant for her arrest.
“What do you mean robbery?” FourHorn remembers asking the officers. Her only brushes with the law had been a few speeding tickets.
She was locked up in a Colorado jail. They took her clothes and other belongings and handed her an oversize black-and-white striped uniform. She protested for five days, telling jailers the arrest was a mistake. Finally, her husband borrowed enough money to bail her out.
“They wouldn’t tell me the details,” she said.
Later, it became clear that FourHorn was right, that Denver police had arrested the wrong woman. Police were searching for Christin Fourhorn, who lived in Oklahoma.
Their names were similar, and Christina FourHorn, a mother with no criminal record living in Sterling, Colorado, had been caught in the mix-up.
