Thursday Open Thread: Reptilicus Edition

In short, an ancient, nearly invincible, monster is unearthed by oil drillers (!) and goes on a rampage through the streets of Copenhagen (!). Today, people obsessed about oil-drilling are rampaging through the streets of Copenhagen! So…anytime anyone says global warming or climate change…reply, “reptilicus”…oh, and drink!

I repost this the 2nd time as a Friend of America, you must save yourself, and us in the process. As a European I have addressed Americans before on this web site; that if the Ultra Left in Europe is in bed with your Left, count your fingers. THEY NEVER REPRESENT THE MORAL ASPECT – ONLY PURE EVIL.
The Left in Europe has in its entire existence been fighting against democracy here in Europa, and hates America for its Freedom and Liberty, thus can fully corner us. They loved Stalin and the Soviet Union, that caused hunger and famine by collectivizing agriculture. When 70 years was gone and communism imploded economically, they had destroyed the private farmer; hardly anyone would even claim private huge lots of land available.
Now the Leftists try to do something similar, but they have to break down capitalism and Liberty in America first. They do not care about China, India, Europe, Canada, Australia, the third world. They will never enforce anything in a climate deal, its only "aspirations." America must – because they intend to misuse your Great Constitution. As with the International Criminal Court, they wanted your Senate to sanction the treaty, to file cases without merit against Americans. Also against Israel. Now they want to have your Senate to sanction the Climate Scam, to restore communism around the world – EU is already achieved. The web site, actually with stock market predictions, has a lot great videos making the scam obvious. If defenders of Freedom and Liberty in America can win this battle, we might finally eradicate stealth communism in America and around the world. God Bless America, you are a Great People that has come to our rescue so many times. All the American lives of my fathers generations, in the first world war and recently on Balkan must not be in vain.
sounds like an old Danish ripoff of another cinematic theme– from Godzilla, which was supposedly the mutant critter released from the oceanic depths from nuclear explosions– and the mindless drones wandering the streets of Copenhagen claiming to demand "climate control NOW", are all ripping off of every ZOMBIE movie ever created!

Reptilicus is based on details gleaned from secret KGB files back in the '50s by an independent contractor for an unspecified secret organization.
The only Reptilucus that was spawned is Obama. The daddy and mommy reptilcus are sitting in the UN.
My reaction to Reptilicus is the same as my reaction to Global Warming… "ooo, I'm scared."

The abomination that is the green movement will indeed ravage the streets of Copenhagen. And when it happens, only the Americans will be able to do a darn thing to help!!
From someone who has a fondness for the oil business, quite frankly in my opinion there should be a bounty on all the tree humpers.
For some reason I focus on the weird stuff, like if this monster is so huge and can swim, how in the world will raising the bridge stop it?

Mr. H., there are plenty of Americans who see this going on, and know exactly what it is.
Americans have a long and illustrious history of tossing one party out of office after a while. Republicans held the House of Representatives since 1992, the Senate off and on since then, and the White House for 7 out of the last 11 terms. Tag onto that two prolonged wars. I don't think they voted for democrats as much as they wanted to clear out the old guard.
Add on top an adoring media elite, a fresh, new, unknown face, and a chance to feel like they were part of history. Frankly I'm surprised Obama didn't win by an additional 10 points, he only got 52.9%.
Things do indeed seem dire, but I'm not counting Americans out yet. There is a very strong, very healthy distrust of government here, and a strong sense of self determination.
This ain't over yet.

'Reptilicus' was bad even for an eight year old. Didn't buy it then, nor has the rapacious oil driller thing come to fruition, either. Bad politicians making bad decisions, maybe. But the oil folk are just people doing commerce like everyone else.

I was reading a story about an attempt to turn Castle Dracula into a theme park to promote tourism in Romania (or Bulgaria, or where ever it is) in Maxim magazine.
He starts the article recounting how he ran into two American tree huggers who told him they planned to chain themselves to trees to prevent them from being cut down for the project.
The author told them 'Are you nuts? This is not America. You chain yourself to a tree the police will drill a hole in the tree two feet above your head, shove a stick of dynamite in it, light it and tell you you have two minutes.'
