Today, 2009, I demand that the U.N. find itself a new home on foreign soil! Enough of these foreigners breaking our laws and crying 'diplomatic immunity'!!!
I hope one day that edifice will be put to better use, such as:
* Cholera clinic
* Union hall of the Honorable Brotherhood of Buggywhip Crafters
* Lint depository
* Museum of the History of Aerosol Cheese Products
There so so many better uses for that building.

Another "good idea" turned socialist over the decades. The UN administration and all their philanderers need to be booted from American soil and defunded by the United States. It's as corrupt as the Obama administration and most likely worse. But we have bigger fish to fry this coming year.

What a useless group of law-breaking individuals…oops, did I say that out loud? My understanding is that the reason that the UN has not been booted out of this country is because it is easier to keep an eye on them while they are on our soil. Oh, well.

Actually, I'm a mid-western boy, born and bred. I hope, if and when sanity once again reigns, I can return to by home of Detroit. I'm not sanguine, though.

Amazing ! I am born and bred Detroit burbs. Lived in Birmingham, Plymouth and most recently in Milford. I have witnessed the debacle known as Detroit for decades…shameful. I fear it will never return to one of the great cities of the USA. I still have family there and its an economic mess. I wish you the best of luck. I now live in sw Florida and have never been back to Detroit.

Can't forget the damage done to the mainline churches by moving their HQs to 475 Riverside Dr. Too much of the visible church has been aligned with these socialists and pushed their agenda on Sunday mornings. The degeneration of the UN also corresponds with the degeneration of the mainline churches. FWIW the National Council of Churches still has their HQ at that address and still pushes the UN agenda on unsuspecting parishioners.
Infiltrating the American church was/is probably their best strategy. The religious liberals have managed to get far too many to compromise to their views in the name of God. I don't want to start a religious discussion but the relationship between the UN and the liberal church should be noted.
Another example of our politicians brillance…Funding the
U.N. that is blatantly against us for the most part, and
almost always vote against us…Yes, it was a good idea,(maybe)
when it was dreamed up, but it turned into one of those
“unintended consequences”….

The UN's DDT ban is based on fraud, and since enacted there have been about 35 million African children killed of malaria. And now they want to regulate the very stuff of life on earth, CO2.

we pay about 25% of the costs for running the UN, and we get no respect…..all these useless little countries around the globe have a seat, contribute nothing, and then proceeed to tell us how to live. They all think we owe them more for just being alive. This is all BS…..close down the UN….convert it to housing for the homeless of NYC, and a establish a free healthcare clinic admistered by the homeless handing out free apsirin….This would be much better use of the facilities, than listening to all the speeches against America for just being on the planet earth……kick them all out…..
Our government is always apologizing for the evil of America.. The UN takes our evil blood money so they are accomplices in our evil. The democrats and republicans are responsible for the UN because we should dropped this insanity years ago.
The UN keeps the peace by forcing those who are in the right to remain silent while those who are in the wrong trample over the rights of whomever they please. This is not true peace, this is forced complacency.
The UN, the world's big stage. A place where you can come to vent your frustrations and hatred for the host country and then go back to your beautiful Embassy home, eat at all of our fine 4 star restaurants, send your kids to our elite private schools (where they don't teach fisting), where they play polo and tennis and live carefree under the protection of our "diplomatic immunity". Check on Maurice Strong of Canada and his involvement with establishing UN Environment and Development Program, i.e. the Brundtland Report ("Our Common Future”) 1982 which was the start of the "Green movement” and he headed up the UN Earth Summit 1992 Rio. All of the above has brought us to this Copenhagen moment. Strong has forcefully advocated a new economic order based on the redistribution of the developed world's industries and wealth to the Third World. Sound familiar?

Check on the UN University of Peace that Maurice Strong was put in charge by the UN to “re-group” and “re-direct” this educational arm of the UN. This University of Peace is strongly in support of the Global Warming scam.

Why not relocate the UN Secretariat to Zimbabwe? They seem to like Mugabe. It would be much cheaper for the delegations to live there than in NYC, and NYC could put all the UN-related real estate to more productive use.
While they're at it, why not cut UN emissions by 85% below 2005 levels by 2020? Cut their budget by 5% per year until the US no longer contributes anything to the UN. Let the socialists of the world fund it for a change.

If I were President I would arrest all of them on treason hold them for ransom and then demolish the building, build a park, and pay off our deficit with the ransom money. Just an idea.
