Shocking!! Report Paid For By ACORN Exonerates Them

House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Ranking Member Darrell Issa (R-CA) released the following statement today regarding the report commissioned by ACORN released by Scott Harshbarger report on ACORN:
“How surprising is it that a report paid for by ACORN exonerates them? There are numerous federal and state investigations currently underway that should ultimately produce a legitimate finding regarding ACORN’s illegal activities. The reality is ACORN has masqueraded as charitable organization in order to fund and advance a partisan political agenda. There is no mechanism in place to follow where the use of taxpayer and charitable dollars end and where funds used to pay for their political activities begin.
“At a joint Oversight-Judiciary Committee forum last week, we heard from state government officials and an ACORN whistleblower about the fraudulent and deceptive tactics ACORN uses to manipulate the same people it purports to serve. The more we have learned about the inner-working of ACORN and its affiliates, the more apparent it becomes that this organization is intentionally structured to deceive and mislead the American people.”

Obama administration selects fathers' rights attorney Jeffery Leving to head first White House Roundtable on Responsible Fatherhood and Healthy Families

Dear Americans, I am a European – I will post this comment under the various issues mentioned below. Then withdraw, simply because I will just keep repeating myself.
I came to biggoverment.com due to the fantastic work of James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles. Then a savvy Andrew Breitbart, who helped them bring this to the attention of the American public. I felt ecstatic, for this is what I have wished would happen over her. Sadly the main stream media is even more corrupt then yours. Credit to FOX NEWS for giving Hannah, James and Andrew exposure; we have no FOX, consciously kept off our cable systems. I am not sure that most Americans understand how important 1) the ACORN issue is, in addition to 2) health care (to avoid Obama care); 3) the climate scam (expose Gores as a con artist) and 4) I will add the Islamisation of America, combined political correctness.
In Europe we might already have lost our freedom due to these issues. Because here we have thousands of ACORNS (by passing democracy) funded by government, we have “health care systems” which cost (its not free) through confiscatory taxes, and do not deliver. We do not have free speech, due to immigration from Islamic countries (our government have betrayed us), and the climate mafia can go on in spite of the e-mail exposure.
My point: Young Americans, you might be religious , libertarians or conservatives, BE Inspired by what James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles did – I Love You both + Andrew Breibart and his team. Then be inspired by Michael Moore’s worldwide success – BUT NOT HIS MESSAGE. He is a fraud and a con artist. I know because Moore came to my country (Norway), which he compared with paradise, and I could really understand his corrupt journalistic method. I was born in 1946, and I am an insider “in paradise”. Norway gave Carter, Gore and Obama (not Reagan) the Peace Price, to undermine your freedom. Whatever we have; we can thank America for, including our freedom, prosperity and even your great culture, movies, music, literature etc.
I refer to these people as credible; some of them reside in America. Brigitte Gabriel, Bruce Bawer (American, but live in my country), Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Lord Monckton, Geert Wilders, late Ayn Rand and then every other American, who wish to restore your great Constitution, and the spirit of your founding fathers. Do good honest work, and connect with the American people, who want to fight for Freedom, promote faiths that teach LOVE, not hate, violence, murder, bigotry and racism. Cut through the crap of bleeding heart liberals, who conspire with the islamists. This century the left are going save the planet, in the last save the working class. What followed? Dictatorships and genocides. America was the only safe place, and you liberated us from Nazism and Communism. You have been a constitutional democracy since 1776, while we have to endure cyclical despotism, showing up in a new disguise. Save yourself and us. God Bless America.

Acorn is a criminal operation, as are most of the media conglomerates that have forsaken their Fourth estate duties and become cheerleaders for con men such as Obama. The global movement, without a seriously groundbreaking event here in the U.S., will eventually smother mankind. You need to realize how retarded in economic educational terms organizations like Acorn are. They do not realize what a disservice they do their 'clients' by keeping them addicted to welfare and the government dole. This is not important as they seem to be nothing but a political pawn to left and they are not there to help their communities, but to brainwash and train them.
What a shame. All the decades of building a great country destroyed by one election gone horribly wrong. November 5, 2008 will be seen as the third great disaster in the history of this country, after December 7th and 9-11.

That is just great! Now that precedence has been set, will I have the ability to conduct my own closing investigations? I would surely like to present my conclusions as final evidence in my next court appearance. This Obama administration is the most corrupt and criminal American ruling body in my lifetime and historically as far as I can determine (using my validated personal investigators). Apparently, we have complicit, unlawful, immoral congressmen and women that are willing to share in the illicit bounty, because Obama has not been impeached or indicted and the freedoms of American society lost in the last twelve years are continuing to be compromised. This complicity and lack of constitutional responsibility worries me and I fear for the safety of our Republic and my descendents.

House Republican Conference Forum on Allegations Against ACORN

Republican members of the House Judiciary and Oversight and Government Reform Committees talked about recent allegations against ACORN and congressional bans on federal funding for the organization. They also focused on allegations of voter registration fraud and other political activities that could jeopardize ACORN's tax exempt status.

Many were from my parent’s generation (born 1915 and 1919). Their sacrifice must never be forgotten and be in vain. We have a leftist mafia that has looked at America as their number one obstruction to have their own dictatorship. They have worked the minds of the kids from kindergarten up, a trick they have learned from their Islamist friends. THIS IS SERIOUS BUSINESS!!! In other news today, Tiger Woods hired a private investigator to look into allegations that he has been unfaithful to his wife. To the surprise of many, the report came back exonerating Tiger of any wrongdoing whatsoever.

I remember Tosha Alberty.
A mother of four young children and a husband with cancer, she joined with the ACORN Home Defenders to fight her foreclosure for three months. Home Defenders mobilized regularly to block sheriff's deputies access to the property, often using their own bodies as shields. On one occasion they even got the locksmith to refuse to change the locks.
That's what this year was like for ACORN — trying to help people keep their homes in the middle of the worst housing crisis in history. And you know something? We're still in the middle of that crisis and my work helping families save their homes is still the most important thing I'm doing.
Let's be honest for a second. When the pundits start doing their year-in-review shows, when they get to ACORN, you and I both know what they'll say. They will talk about scandal and accusation, and they'll rehash propaganda from right-wing con artists and politicians.
But I promise that they will leave something out. They'll leave out what we did to save Irene's home. They'll leave out the dedication of people like you who put themselves on the line for their neighbors.
And the most shameful thing they'll forget to mention is how many more families' homes we could have saved if we weren't constantly under attack.
So I want to take a moment to say "thank you". Thank you for helping ACORN members and staff save as many homes as we did. Thank you for making the time and taking the effort to fight for what is right for working families. Thank you for standing with us during one of our most challenging years ever.

The report says that much of the video released was edited "including the insertion of a substitute voiceover for significant portions of Mr. O’Keefe’s and Ms.Giles’s comments". If true, it's obviously a huge problem for the veracity of the sting. If it's not true, I think it's incumbent upon these fine journalists to publicly state that Harshbarger is lying.
