President Obama and congressional Democrats are claiming that a giant new entitlement program will reduce red ink. It's tempting to laugh and dismiss such a preposterous claim. After all, these are the same people who told us that squandering $787 billion on a so-called stimulus would create jobs....

Seems to be a lot of cyber attacks to anyone opposing Obama and his cronies, while we are watching his approval ratings plummet.
We all need to become more vigilant, and post the problems that sites and/or individuals are experiencing, as well as who (if detected) is doing the hacking/attacking/spamming. We need to be able to reverse target these people back.
50% of the population view the Conservative (Tea Party) movement favorably but, 90% of the political class view the movement unfavorably. I predict both parties are in for surprise next year.
it brought us out of our depression…
Prohibition, or rather government infringement, brought us bootlegging to organized crime and Murder Incorporated. Just imagine what massive government run health care will do?
Anyone for the Black Market titanium hip business! Just could be all the rage!
hic ! I'll drink to that !
It's 5:00 somewhere!
Oh look what the previous 7 days hath brought us…
Now everybody knows Huck’s a schmuck- with last week's Dukakis moment, he’s done for 2012. Maybe Green Day will ask him to join them for their next tour, LOL
Mitt is in a political hole with conservatives for his failed Massachessets HC plan that’s hardly any better than Obama’s… and a pitiful response to NY-23’s special election drama (if there was ANY response, I sure don’t recall it).
Meanwhile, the Arctic Fox’s book is #1 while crowds swell at her signings… and a poll now shows her vs Obama’s approval numbers closed within the margin of error… I think we all can see where this is headed

The RHINO's are dropping like flies. The true conservative is shining!
I wouldn't want to be an incumbant right now.
granted this doesn't apply to military action or foreign policy-but within the domestic political realm…
having been in discussion with a group of folks who range from ultra-libertarian to barely conservative (my impressions) about MSM and ACORN, something became obvious to me. They are all scared to death of these groups BUT there have no desire to kill them. Instead they just want to ward off their future efforts with defensive strategies.
Now, my instincts are fairly passive. I don't want to fight unless I have to. But if I have to defend myself it will not be without some offense. If the attack on me is random and not personal, I'll do what it takes to absorb as little damage as possible until it's over. But if the attacker intends to kill me, without doubt my instincts are to kill them first. These folks just don't seem to have that instinct, and I just don't get it.-I really don't believe there is much doubt in anybody's mind that MSM and ACORN have every intent to kill everything that is in their way – especially if it is considered conservative. Why don't the conservatives as a group have the instinct to kill what intends to kill them??
For years I have been smoking "little cigars," which differ from cigarettes by using "natural wrappers" and chopped tobacco instead of processed shredded "tobacco paper" otherwise they are the same, filtered and 20 to a pack. They were cheaper because they ducked taxes aimed at cigarettes, often about 1/2 to 1/3 the cost.
Then came Barry's tobacco tax, which did not raise my taxes a dime as promised although the administration has yet to document how all the other taxes went down to compensate. Okay, the cigars were still cheaper, and the less-nice dirt-cheap brands took off.
So of course Pennsylvania followed suit, more than doubling the price of the cheapest. The local smoke shops were cleaned out before it was enacted. I went online to buy, first time, where they were still cheap.
Now the tax is fully in place. And online is nowhere as cheap, it was a PA-based seller, from $14 to more that $30 a carton (10 packs). The local smoke shops have stopped carrying practically all little cigars, they are now more costlier than the cheapest cigarettes. And I have fully joined the "Make Your Own (MYO)" movement, buy pre-made pre-filtered "tubes," bagged tobacco, and a plastic "injector" to stuff them. Lots cheaper, just needs a time investment.
Tax the "sinners," do it for the children (SCHIP), tax until you kill the market and kill the revenue that was allegedly to help others, then watch the heathens undercut you and make their own. While not Prohibition, it does show that government still hasn't learned since then and forgot what was learned during the Revolution. Assume you have the control and can do whatever you want despite how the people feel, and you will get a revolt.
"The Arctic Fox" … I like it!

How About That LOU DOBBS, What a Big Complainer, Just because he gets numerous calls threatening to Kill his whole Family and bullets are flying thru his House, He gets Upset. Its just Chicago Hard Ball Politics, Isnt that A Change You Voted For??? Whats next People Disappearing ??
Thank God and Pass the Bourbon!
I hope you are right.
The critical point is this, the Tea Partier's MUST stand up true conservative candidates (of either party) that can get their message out credibly enough for Voter's to HEAR it and respond, and VOTE for them.
Otherwise it will be the same schmucks who run every time.
We need NEW BLOOD. We need some of US to sacrifice our careers and privacy to go to Washington for a short tour of duty to clean the place up. Like "Mr. Smith goes to Washington".
I think Hoffman in NY23 is a decent example of the type of candidate we need to step up to the plate. Ordinary Joe's and Jane's who have WORKED for a living and are sick and tired of the corruption and BS in DC.
Buzz off, copper, we are making bio-fuel here! Dontcha care about the environment?
tax is a blessing
Great photo! I will feel exactly those people when Obama is defeated in 2012.
In the meantime, cheers!
we also need good people of integrity to race against entrenched democrats. we need to fight for every district.
Excellent thread, keep government involvement to defending our freedoms, not limiting them!
I want my country back!
Remember: Ross Perot gave us eight years of Bill Clinton.
I an not advocating a third party, I am advocating for Conservative candidates to win primaries, from either party.
There are NO "conservative" Dems; NONE !
Prohibition is a perfect example of what a dedicated minority in power can accomplish, under the color of morality. There were plenty that thought it was a good thing. It was repealed by a Democrat. We need to remind ourselves that following its repeal, Republicans were not in power for what, 25-30 years?
There are NO "conservative" Dems; NONE………….they only PLAY at being conservative to get elected ! That's one part of how they took olver both Houses in '06.
It is possible yaknow. we have the opportunities in front of us right now. MSM is weak in reputation and finances, and much of it will die if we can stop the upcoming bail-out attempt. ACORN is weak to the point of being desperate and bringing the reality of their treasonous intent from day one to the forefront would put them down for the count as well.
Why does it appear that the conservatives have no instinct to kill what intends to kill them??
“The object of the 18th Amendment is to protect society from selfish individualism.”
– Bishop James Cannon, Jr., World League Against Alcoholism, 1930
Yes, "selfish individualism," the concept that freedom for the individual, even from a "Christian" Bishop, was just plain wrong. So, we take a product that is abused only by the minority and enjoyed by the majority without abuse, and create laws to punish all.
"I'm sure glad we don't do that sort of thing anymore," forced to type by the light of a CFL.
Which, in hindsight didn't turn out that badly. Remember two years of Clinton gave us the Contract With America. Clinton, enjoying being President, went along with the more conservative Congress, and got a second term. Barry, being both more arrogant, and more ideologically committed, won't move right after 2010. He should be history.

It definitely is now!
