Eventually, as we must now aknowledge was not surprising, he mentioned his own life story and election as some sort of metaphorical wall coming down. Either “full of himself” doesn’t even begin to describe our president, or his speechwriters are literally in love with him – which would be cute, were it not so perilous.
Because the world watches. In Israel, they watch and they listen and they don’t like the way the “winds of change” are blowing. They feel america leaving them in the desert. In Europe, they listen and they must, if their ears are working, hear the news that America will no longer play the bad cop to their good cop. If Obama’s America, while dreaming of a world without nuclear weapons, allows Iran to attain the ability to strike German cities, what should the Europeans leaders do? Will the Germans build new weapons of their own? As this interview with two experts on the region reveals, circumstances are rapidly growing too dire to ignore.

BHO left them all vulnerable, and he has abdicated our role as global police, he basically disdains meeting with Brown, Sarkhozy, Merkl, etc….but, is pleased to meet with Putin, Medvedev, Achmadenijad, Chavez or Castro…..and if Isreal stirkes Iran, then all hell breaks loose…and missiles might be headed into Europe as well as Saudi Arabia, United Emerits?????
I read See No Evil by Bob Baer, it was a good one, and he's got the knowledge. The whole world would suffer beyond belief if Iran and Israel struck each other. Imagine what the price of oil would do, then remember what happened when the price of gas went to 4.00 per gallon. Times that by 100 – worldwide.
The way things are going, it's starting to look like Obama's legacy might just be World War III.
Also, BO had better start saving up our money instead of throwing it away in the wind. If the strike happens, we're doomed. There won't be enough money to PAY THE TROOPS AND MANUFACTURE WEAPONRY. Then here comes China.

I read on Drudge the Iran gov. just approved the building of ten more nuclear facilities. That coupled with the war games, I mean it's like poking a dog with a stick, everntually he is going to bite you. I don't blame Israel if they eventually have to attack, they are being pushed back into a corner. Of course, that is what everybody wants, for Israel to attack first, then all the blame is on them and everyone jumps in and it's bombs away.
The reason Iran hates them so much is beacuse they stand for freedom, just like the US. That is why they are the "little Satan" and we are the "big Satan." Without America, there would be no Israel. They are an obstacle in getting to America, once they get rid of Israel, they will come for us.
Europeans should be worried. Since Reagan was president (the cowboy intent on starting WWIII) they've been getting played like sheep for decades with the USA as the bad guy. 9/11 was an excellent barometer of just how fickle our european neighbors can be, some almost happy to see us get hit to knock us down a notch or two. Now with the manchurian candidate at the wheel, odds are they'll be finding out just how it feels to play the role of cop and we sit back and judge them over every action taken. Turnabout is fair play, I just hope they can take it as well as they dish it out.

Hmmm…I wonder should we drill for oil? I know …lets have a liberal weep, and clutch, and maybe the bad people will go away? This definitely calls for a pickup game of basketball, or maybe some golf.
So maybe a good thing to invest my money in right now would be gas cans? I fill them now for $2.50, and then when hell breaks loose in the Middle East, I sell my gas for $250 per gallon. That's a great return on my investment, and I'm still selling it for half of what the gas stations will be charging.
I'm going to do this. Is there an ordinance against filling your two-stall garage to the rafters with full cans of gasoline?

One could only hope that this scenario when it unfolds forces those in Congress who have thwarted drilling to unlease the dogs and we do not suffer long. It seems only a crisis wakes up those who love to sing "cum by ah."

I find it hard to believe that America can take preliminary knowledge of the atomic bomb project started in Germany under hitler and get to a deliverable device and we have no way to increase production in less than ten years. While the above does not "definitively" make my point it sure as hell should give everyone with an inquisitive mind to look for other examples and once again believe in this country's greatness! I am sure we are up to the challenge albeit it will not be easy or instantly quick but I am sure it won't be "TEN YEARS" either.

I'm old enough to remember thinking that gas for over $1 per gallon was BS when some people were predicting it. How much would you pay if your option was a bicycle?
I hate to be the ugly sister at the party, but, ask yourself WHY we haven't had an energy policy with that kind of foresight. The democrat party, and it's minions, have don't everything short of blowing up what, few refineries, we do have. Think about it, the EPA's leftists leaders, the radical environmentalists, ( I wish to take this time to point out that there is a huge difference between, environmentalists, and conservationists, the later I was taught on my 1st fishing trip, with my father), and let's not forget the, now PROVED global warming risky scheme, all democrat ideas. The present administration, has outspent all of the prior ones, BY FAR, yet they think they still have standing with the American people. Next year, after we give all of them the boot, we must not forget the painful lesson we've had to learn. Wether an (R), or (D), or (I) after the name, there still may be a self serving cretin underneath. We the people must demand (term limits) for all elected officials, federal, state, and local. We must also demand that all congressional business is televised on C-Span, with the obvious exception of state secrets. We must demand a REAL transparent government, then, "we the people" , will take to the work of mending the damage that's been done to America. We can do it!, we've done it before. America, in less then 300 years, has taken a continent, grown it into the country that has fed the world, clothed the world, aided the sick, REGARDLESS of their political, or economic, or financial condition. We also take in people from around the world to extend their lives. How about this, oldie but goodie, how about America sending our doctors and nurses to all corners of the earth to save people, often under duress. We need people who will represent the true spirit of America, the can-do, no matter what the odds, spirit. Is there anyone in congress talking like that? because I sure can't hear them. This bunch has been getting fat off of us for far too long, oh, we tolerated it, for awhile, but now, they want more and more control, next, they'll find some way to convince enough people, that the second amendment doesn't really mean what it says, and then, good-by America, it's been nice to know ya. Think that "it can't happen here?", "it can't happen here", I'm telling you my dear, that it can't happen here?, I'm pretty sure that the last country that was taken over by a dictator, after being disarmed, thought the same thing. Are you willing to take that chance?
That was partially my point, we are doers and it can be done. People have been hearing can't for a long time. Sometimes a direct "you can't" and other times like during the most recent campaign (which still has not ended) "Yes we can", which translated into liberese means no you can't without BIG Government. You're right on that, I think it was partly due to maintaining a 'friendship' in the middle east but more than that it was about re-elections. There were no politicians ready to force the public into paying higher prices over the last 2 to 3 decades. if you take a good look at the central part of the US up into Canada they've been drilling like you wouldn't believe. And I believe part of that is already taking its toll on the middle east as we're their biggest consumers. Our big problem is we don't have the refinery capacity to produce it all and that can be directly related to the democratic party making it far too big a hassle for any oil companies to even want to take on more headaches from our deal beloved government.
Wouldn't you if Iran were at your door threatening to blast you off of the planet?

Of course, you're right zebo, but, you miss the point. We, right now, within 5 years, could be independent from foreign oil. This country has been hijacked by the left because the left are the ones who scream the loudest. We the people have been duped by both parties, as well as entrenched Independents. Career politicians are career politicians, they have a vested interest in the status quo, We must do away with all of the career people leading our government. We must elect people of high character, solid morals, and a proven record of a servants heart. No, I'm not saying he/she must be of a certain religion, (I have my preference), but, religion shouldn't matter. IMHO, if someone is found to have good character, the rest is also probable.
I believe Mr. Baer probably meant 400-500 per barrel of oil, not gallon of gas. He's been saying that for months now, and a lot of analysts agree. Regardless, a fast rise to 15.00 gas would be a disaster and would bring many things to a halt, such as boatloads of companies that just happen to issue paychecks.

I consider Israel as much of an ally as I would France, and that's not saying much. We've had politicians back the Israelis because they claim they're the only democracy in the region. I really don't buy into the notion that we need to be on the side of the Israelis. We gain nothing by backing any side in the conflicts there.
I've gotten to the point where I believe removing ourselves from Afghanistan and then sterilizing the whole place with nukes might be the correct path to take. It would certainly be cheaper than fighting for a stone-age culture and trying to convince them that modern amenities and technology are worthwhile improvements. Just irradiate the whole of Afghanistan and be done with it.
It's time to irradiate some Afghan cities.

I care what happens to our troops. It's obvious that neither Bush nor Obama had any clue how to perform the war in Afghanistan. Either make it possible that our ROE allow us to fight to win this war and give them everything needed to win it or pull our troops out and nuke the place.
If we aren't going to fight this to win it, we should pull everything out and leave the place a nuclear wasteland. Anything less than complete and total victory is a loss and try to tell me that Obama has plans to win this? I think you're a fool if you think so and pulling out and letting the Taliban and al-Qaeda flood in and control it again would be defeat.

$400-500 per barrel of oil might be a spike of such a military exchange, but it wouldn't last long. Frankly, I wouldn't even expect that to happen. You might see a jolt to the system that would drive it up to the range that it was in July 2008 ($147/bbl), but I think $400-$500/bbl oil is a ludicrous suggestion.

if israel attacs-noone know what to expect. iran has pertty good anti-aircrafts iam sure and israel has to do very difficult logistic, plus its not supported by obama which is serious problem for israel. so its too early to predict consiquensies.
