Kind of frightening that you can receive Food Stamp Benefits at a PO Box. That is an open invitation for fraud. With years of experience in how the system workd ACORN know where the holes are. They can sign people up fraudulantly and then get a kick back.

They threw this application away for a reason. Either incompetance or fraud. My guess is fraud.

Mr. Logic…I agree with you! It's reprehensible that ACORN would discard this sensitive information in the trash. There is obviously a serious lack of moral responsibility and with the discarded credit report from "Andre" (another post), laws may very well have been broken BUT how can anybody accuse ACORN of exposing this family's plight by exposing this family's plight on a website? This is starting to look like the battle of the crack-heads here because one crack-head smokes more crack than the other crack-head…they're still both a couple of crack-heads! It just seems to me that if you're going to take the moral high ground against ACORN than you should conduct yourself that way and not be just as sleazy and irresponsible as ACORN. Doesn't really win any arguments there and this poor family didn't do anything wrong to anybody.

You people are too blind to the fact that ACORN, simply uses people for its own power. Nothing more, nothing less. As far as your "negro" comment, jsut about the time they quit referring to themselves as such, and move off the plantation, and change the plantation mentality, is about the time things will change for them. As far as the application is concerned, it does not showup on my computer, consequently I am flying blind here, and non- biased. All those pages, with all those documents, the documents won't load for me. Consequently, all I am opinin about is simple, good, old fashioned common sense.

Let's pretend that the food stamp application had the names Sarah, Todd, Willow, Bristol, Trig and the other one. You'd be so outraged, you'd be pissing kerosene and rightfully so. Where does exploiting and degrading this family's plight serve any moral or social justice?
