By creative interpretation of the law, by doing so they have violated wiretap and taping laws (which is a matter of legal debate). This doesn;t make sense since Rodney King's cops did not know they were being taped. By sitting on "the tapes" before releasing them to authorities, are they aiding and abetting any offenses by ACORN – even when the AG refuses to acknowledge the validity of the tapes? By threatening to release it at a strategic date should the AG not begin an investigation, are they engaging in Blackmail? Is there an obligation on the part of whistle in these states to hand over evidence (you already can't destroy evidence of a crime, but holding on to evidence)?

Oh My. What a tangled legal web this is… and in an era of hyperactive lawyers and an administration that clearly has an interest in keeping this cat in the bag. Actually, I think that Andrew should not have tipped his hand. I can see a Justice Department action against him, bottling up the tapes, which will then be buried. A monthly release of tapes, with a blockbuster release every 3 months would put much more pressure on the Congress and the Administration to actually poop or get off the pot. Keeping the ACORN issue in the minds of the electorate via regular periodic releases would help conservative candidates much more than Justice Department involvement.

How do you deal with a gang that threatens, intimidates and actually commits assaults on people who don't give in to their demands? Usually you have to depend on the law to step in and stop the corruption, extortion and illegal activity, but what do you do when that gang is the law? In the past your only hope was to seek a higher court.

This administration is nothing more than a gang of zealots who are doing everything they can to tear down and destroy the very values and principles that built this nation. They are ignoring the law.

How can the attorney general of these United States ignore an organization that is using tax dollars to support international crime activity? There can be only one answer, and that is because it is his buddies in his gang. The same goes for the Philadelphia Black Panthers and the SEIU thugs who actually committed assault.

When the executive branch of our government is corrupt through and through, does that make the other branches of government impotent? The administrative branch is part and parcel in the corruption so you know that they are not going to stand up and enforce the laws of the land against their own gang either. The Judicial branch is simply turning a blind eye to the violations of the law. This is not what is meant by "blind justice", in fact it is exactly the opposite.

A review of the situation: Breitbart attempts to threaten the attorney general in to making an investigation of ACORN based on tapes of whistleblowers of an orginization so large its bound to have weak elements here and there. this might have worked, if the attorney general and many others were several decades younger, this a playground, and breitbart a bully larger than the rest because he was left behind a few times. however, few here consider that idle threats show more about the aggresor than then those who are targets. why wait until the elections? why not release them now? why? heres why. breitbart is trying to cresate an act of porportions to fit in with is fight back persona. in addition, it is now clear that brietbart wants nothing more than to oust those in power, not give those who do not have a voice an oppurtunity to speak, as he tries to affect by claiming that the whistle blowers are too afraid to speak out. why be afraid if the ‘liberal media’ can redirect attention, if every liberal and democrat is a smooth talking, slick as ice individual who contantly dodges the good old boys attempts to stop them, why would any individual fear them? who needs retribution when the whole thing will blow over? one does not, and so the constant litany of lies and pandering to propaganda have started to conflict. with all the videos around, it is easier to reveal that opponents are full of specious arguments. the expose tape has become the asylum of those with out reasonmable argument, without sensibility. what one has here is just another lila rose, another pimp and his ho simplicity. taking quotes out of context, limiting footage, all in an attempt to make a story. but there is none here. what one has here lacks any kind of sense, any kind of rationale. what one has here is not whistleblowing but black mail. right around election time? holding information until the last minute so that breitbart followers will vbwe in the dark until the last minute? what will it take for people t see that this is merely power play? there is no reason to wait. unless one is planning a strategic attack angainst an opponent, that is. this is what breitbart is doing, this is why he holds information until it would be most detrimental to his enemies, until it would be most helpful for him. where is the need to inform the public? apparently that can now wait. intelligence and information are tricky things, and it is obvious how breitbart utilizes it as a weapon. what he knows is for him to know and one to find out. like a bully or a terrorist, an attempt to strike fear in to the hearts of others, as made clear by his declaration is an insult to every freedom loving American, and if conservatives would wake up, an insult to them as well. every one has somthing so say about inaccuracy in the media, but what about willful and decisive attempts to strong arm others in to following an agenda? why is this not a more serious crime? perhaps here is the answer: others are too subtle, to reserved to partake in such shennanigans. and so breitbart and his followers think that by scare tatics, they can win. its always about the elections andnever about the people that conservatives are so apt to proclaim they protect. like a poster before this wrote of how breitbart has ‘balls’. this is true. however it runs in contrast with everything said about the conservative movement: no more politics as usual, no more smear campaigns, just truth, however that may be taken in to account as meaning. it is all about mr. breitbart, and his campaign. this is his war and no one else’s. as such, the only pejoratives of ‘golden boy’, ‘the return of the one’ and ’sycophant’ belong with breitbart’s crowd and not President Obama’s.

IF Holder begins an investigation, you can bet your bottom dollar (which is all Dumbama is leaving us with), that it WILL NOT BE CONCLUDED PRIOR TO THE ELECTION.
