Now that House leadership has committed itself to bringing the 2,000+ page bill to a vote, every tool and lever at their disposal will be used to get to 218. There is not a small percentage of the Democrat caucus who believes a vote for this bill is very close to political suicide. And their leadership will ask them to make that sacrifice, if for no other reason than they need the ‘win.’ Kind of like the British General Staff at the Somme.

The tactics the democrats are using should be enough to sound the alarm even among those who might support this POS "healthcare reform act". Once this is passed, the Obama machine can concentrate on some truly restrictive legislation AKA "Cap and trade".

I'm in. I know someone who didn't pay his taxes for the past 15 years. Then he decided to file this year and on top of it all he got over $5000 in refunds. No penalties.Nothing!!

Being the parent of 5th generation Texans, I am still grieving over Ft. Hood. However, considering the treachery that is occuring in our nation's capitol as I write this post, I would like to engage BH commenters in a topic I have not seen really discussed regarding the ObamaCare debacle. This might be a bit long, but I think it is super important:
A member of the British Parliament, Daniel Hannan, said on Glenn Beck's program several months ago that the US absolutely MUST PREVENT the passage of the health care bill. He said the UK government health care system is the WORLD'S 3RD LARGEST EMPLOYER! That is WORLD'S, people! He said when that number of people vote as a group (in order to protect their govt jobs) they are impossible to defeat. Also, I have read that the UK was in desperate need of medical workers and allowed a huge influx of Muslims to fill the jobs. Look up Daniel Hannan on YouTube. He is a well-spoken, intelligent man trying to save his country and help us save ours. Get some talk going about these issues. I am well-read, and I haven't seen anyone else address these aspects of ObamaCare.

This bill won't add one penny to the deficit? What is that old coot smokin'? Watch the word parsing. It won't add one penny, but billions and billions of pennies, just like Bammy claimed he won't raise taxes on the middle class one dime. Instead, it's going to be billions and billions of dimes.
Or how about this one…it won't add to the deficit; it will greatly increase the debt instead. They're gutting Medicare Advantage and taking $500M from Medicare to balance this so-called $800+ billion bill in addition to taxing everyone right after the 2010 elections, according to NY Rep. Anthony Weiner (D), for insurance we won't see till at least 2013. Meanwhile, those of us who have health insurance will be paying our premiums and the added tax.
Because they think they're royalty and therefore deserve the best healthcare our tax dollars can buy them. So in addition to paying our own premiums and the extra tax from 2010 elections on until we get our own special brand of limited healthcare in 2013 from whatever doctors are left by that time, we'll be paying the taxes for gasbag Pelosi and everyone else in Congress, who get to choose from a bunch of plans starting at $45 per month with immediate service. We'll wait months for a doctor's appointment and possibly a year or two for an MRI.
The death panel was not only written into the healthcare bill, it's already passed in the stimulus bill and a panel of Bammy's kooky leftwing fringe kook pals are already in place.

People of America, let the rebellion begin. These people in Washington ignored every voice but thier own. Now it's time to make sure they are only talking to themselves.
