House Passes PelosiCare
by PubliusJust after 11pm EST, the House of Representatives passed the 2,000+ page Pelosi Health Care bill by a vote of 220-215. 39 Democrats were given the opportunity to vote no, in what will go down in history as the most ’structured’ roll call of all time. (1 GOP member, Rep. Cao from New Orleans voted with the Democrats.) The Senate is unlikely to take up any health care reform legislation this year. With unemployment expected to stay above 10% through at least the early part of next year, it isn’t certain the Senate will ever take it up.

This wasn’t unexpected. What someone will have to explain to us in the future is, why did the GOP let many pro-life Democrats off-the-hook by supporting the Stupak Amendment to, perhaps, prevent federal funds from being spent on abortion. As usual, the GOP tried to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and gave some conservative democrats cover going into the fall elections.
Update: Not really an update, but something we should have noted at the outset. Although Obama and Congressional Leadership have been stressing the absolute urgency of passing this bill, most of the provisions–the ones expanding benefits, etc–don’t take effect until 2013. (That’s a pretty long-lead time for something that is so urgent, if you ask us.) Of course, the tax increases take effect much sooner.

Health Care just passed the House. Help me, I'm going to be sick!
Very nice. Now time for the Senate to do its job.
I am being sick with you, it is the rotting smell from the house getting all the way through the country.
Let the 2010 pushback begin! Yes, this is depressing but let's face it, the institution of government is broken. This is not about health care, this is about power. Every American must rise up to take back the power. The RNC better get on board with the principles this country was founded on. No more Obama-lite crap.
Unfortunately, we can't assume that this monstorsity will just die. We must stay vigilant and fight this–just like cap and trade.
Democrats deserve the kind of health care the government will provide.
Our republic is screwed. Oh well, 233 years was a good run…
Joseph Cao was welcomed in October as the Newest Member of the TARP Oversight committee – there's a clip on C-SPAN of his "welcome" – how hard he fought to get on the committee, etc. Gee, he's from Louisiana – down there in Katrina land – and he wants to keep a close eye on funding and ethics…
Who let the RINO in?
Wait in line.
maybe the republicans think they have given cover, but they would be mistaken. we are no longer easily placated by their say one thing but do another shenanigans. we are after all of their jobs. america was watching tonight and was failed again. it's our turn to show them what real leadership looks like.
close very close but we lost this battkle dont mean we lost the war and ill bet those turn coats will get ears full from the people they are suposed to represent its kinda like the congress just gave all of america [legal ones that is ] the finger
I have a question. did this get voted in by the WHOLE congress, or just the HOR?
Additionally, can Republicans overturn PHC in 2010/2012-13 or is it set in stone once the democraps vote it in?
This is the first step. Before it passes the Senate, start the campaign. Repeal.
Repeal. Repeal.
If this passes the senate and is signed into law, what are the odds we see 14% unemployment by November 7, 2010? Go ahead and pass Wagner 2.0 and let's see if we can achieve 17 or 18%. Does anyone do the math anymore? I wonder if Obama will be treated as well as Buchanan?
Lazy Jack
"What someone will have to explain to us in the future is, why did the GOP let many pro-life Democrats off-the-hook by supporting the Stupak Amendment to, perhaps, prevent federal funds from being spent on abortion."
That's what I was thinking. Why introduce the amendment when they knew that had enough pro-life dems to defeat the "as is" bill. I don't get it.
you are right. this isn't about healthcare, but freedom. saddle up fellas…
I wanted to know who was the one Rebuplican who voted for it because 39 Dems voted against it. We lost by 5 votes.
House.
Senate debates it perhaps next week.
Now, on to the Senate…. our only hope to stop this thing. Now is the time to protest and make sure the will of the people of this great nation is known.
A bad day for freedom, a bad day for the America we all love.

The official unemployment numbers are 10%. The current unofficial numbers are already are 17.5%. That is the real number.
Well, since this won't take effect for years, you can still get sick and see a doctor.
I think there is going to be blood in the streets before this is all said and done.
Yes, do its job and KILL THIS BILL .

Just not the rest of us.
it was the repuke from new orleans
Now we have your names. You liberals and socialist who voted for this trash…we have you. On election day YOU ARE GONE. It doesn't matter if it never gets to the Senate. You will not survive election day in 2010 and 2012. We're going to target you in every district in the country. You voted for this abomination and we will end your political career.
Yep, something's fishy. Don't let the Republicans off the hook on this one. They helped ensure that this abomination passed! It's time we stopped rolling over for the GOP every time, just because they're not Democrats.
The worst thing I had to witness tonite was Piglosi's reptilian face of victory
HA! Our republic is recovering after Bush left our constitution in tatters. Live with a leadership that wants what is best for ALL Americans. Look at it objectively, and you'll like it. America will have a future!
Obama 2012!
there is still time guys, there is still time…. do not despair
this battle has just begun

Just the House; the Senate vote is yet to come. Then it goes to be shuffled together, should the Senate pass something and then, both Houses vote, yet again.
What happened tonight is just the first step.
Thank you for the info.
Now we have them on record. 2010 here we come!!!!!
Welcome to the new Socialist States of America!
hope they have big jails cause i sure wont get it
A few words for the whores in DC that had their way against the will of the American people: MAKE THEM PAY-SEND THEM HOME
We are gonna have more entrepreneurs than ever before when we allow innovators to have their families safe, secure, and healthy while they follow their passions and BETTER our society.
The big business crap you worship is just funneling money from one place to the other. PASSION PRODUCES INNOVATION. PERIOD! UNLOCK AMERICA'S PASSION THROUGH RESPONSIBLE GOV'T!
WE'RE ON OUR WAY! HALLELUJAH!
Yes except they'll we collecting the fines as of January.

Unemployment will rise by 220 in 2010……just a guess.
I think you are unfortunately are right.
That's hwo it passed – 2012 won't look so bad when the dems want to stay iin power ….
Wasn't she on V earlier in the week?
Must I kiss Bela Pelosi's ass now or when I need to see a Dr.? That is if I get to see a Dr when almost half retire or go on to do other things….God help us all !
As one sign read at the Capitol Hill protest the other day: IF YOU RAM THIS DOWN OUR THROATS IN 2009, WE WILL STICK IT UP YOUR ASS IN 2010. Let's not forget what we promised them. Take back our country next November.
CAO is a K STREET WHORE !!!
Joe Cao (R) ColdcashJeffersonville
The real unemployment is over 16 % now…It will be 20 % before long if this is signed into law…
i did not watch that woman … or whatever she is
WTF are you talking about?? "families safe, yadda yadda yadda"? You think premiums are going down? LOLOLOLOL!!!
like my bumbersticker says
RAM IT DOWN OUR THROAT IN 09
WE WILL RAM IT UP YOUR ASS IN 10 & 12
Sorry Gary, when you go to your doctor and your treatment won't be accepted, don't come here and cry cause we'll all laugh.
So, everyone has taken a side. This is good. We now know who is for big government and who is for liberty. Take the information that was given to you this night and strengthen the fight to remove those who would stand in the way of freedom. Now is the time to find those who will stand with us and work together to remove these tyrants from office. Stay strong and determined. Our children, elders, friends neighbors, and all of those citizens who desire freedom and dignity are depending on you.
Damn…now Waxmann is speaking…..I cant stand to look at that guy…oh wait…is he human?
the final bill will not be this House Monstrosity …. it will of course be a mix of Senate and House Misery … if there is any penalty in this on American citizens, and there will be, we must begin to develop a plan of civil disobedience
… i am ready to do this
Agree.
and there are lots of way to do it
ways, sorry
I'm not giving Bush a free pass on the damage he did. But if you think that I'm "gonna like it", you are sorely mistaken. The Constitution was in tatters, and had been going that way for a few decades, these people just shredded it.
Fight is on. People versus Pelosi and Co. Defeat them on 2010 and 2012. Let us keep them away from benefitting from this monstrosity. Vote them all OUT. We own this country and we are taking it back.
"A revolution is not a dinner party, or writing an essay, or painting a picture, or doing embroidery; it cannot be so refined, so leisurely and gentle, so temperate, kind, courteous, restrained and magnanimous. A revolution is an insurrection, an act of violence by which one class overthrows another."

Did you notice that Ford, the onlycar company not run by the government, was the only car company to make a profit this last quarter? What does that tell you?
I always wondered how the government would handle the huge number of "Baby Boomer" retirements even though they had decades to prepare for it. Easy, drastically limit health care for them and let nature run its course…problem solved!
If the Senate passes this they'll have 4 years to build more prisons. How mbarrassing this is to the US. Just wait the fight has just begun!!!!
Was that her in the part when they removed the scalp and showed the reptile? Then yes.
So….they want to reform our "broken" health care system. Well, I think many of us are ready to reform our broken system of government. Despite the American people pushing back in an unprecedented fashion, these clowns still decided to give us the middle finger and do what they wanted to do. Well, I think in November of 2010, We the People get to do what we want to do. I hope they enjoyed what time they had in office.
Time to start making reservations for all those to be on McCain's Straight out of office express. Graham, Cao, Snowe, Collins.
The only good thing is that the dems have played their cards and we can hang them with their own details. This plan is, to use a graphic term, more repulsive than a late term abortion. Once the public sees what is really in there, this will fail in the senate.
i am confused, does this mean my cat can or cannot get an abortion?
He is BUTT UGLY and a raving lunatic
"A nation can survive it's fools, and even
the ambitious. BUT cannot survive treason from
within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable,
for he is known and carries his banner openly. But
the traitor moves amongst those within the gates
freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the
alleys, heard in the very halls of government
itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor, he
speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he
wears their face and their arguments, he appeals
to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of
all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works
secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the
pillars of the city, he infects the body politic
so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less
to fear."
Cicero's speech to the Roman Senate 50 BC
There isn't enough prisons yet? Don't have enough health care, go to jail!
So caps mean your point is valid?
Passion produces innovation? Responsible government?
Damn your hinges are loose.
Thieves in the night…
It depends. Would it be considered a "pre-existing condition"?
you understand, with a cat, this would be like, a multiple abortion?
I also think you are correct. I for one will put up a heck of a fight, there is still some fight left in these older bones. For my grand children and yours I will do everything I can to save this great nation and OUR CONSTITUTION. This nation was once the shining light to the rest of the world, now that light is dimming and will soon extinguish unless we stand up and fight, and fight I will.
If ever Constitutional Patriots ever joined forces, now is the time. Pink slips for all the traitors who will rip the last penny out of our wallets and take control of our lives with their earmarks in this healthbill. There are 237 millionaires in Congress, so they don't give a crap about us.
I hope there’s a special place in hell for Mrs. Pelosi and the other liberal liars.
P.S. – “Gary,” if you think Bush left the Constitution in tatters, it’s obvious that you aren’t paying attention to what the man-child president and his socialist buddies are doing. GWB defended the Constitution; Obama is wiping his fanny with it.
Joseph Cao – Louisiana, he escaped communism in Vietnam to become a communist here in the USA
Reform the broken system? it wasn't broken until tonight. The old adage applies: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". It is time for US to rise up, and show those sorry sumbitches exactly who they work for.
I AM NOT GIVING UP MY COUNTRY! SCOTUS, HERE I COME!
Does this mean all the 'Yea' voters will be switching to the public option?
Time for a new contract with America in 2010!
1) Repeal whatever health care takeover monstrosity they pass.
2) Repeal whatever may be left of the stimulus.
3) Repeal whatever cap & tax they pass.
4) Support a term limits for congress constitutional amendment.
5) Support a balanced budget constitutional amendment.
Here’s a puzzler: Which is worse, Waxman’s alien appearance or his raving liberal looney views? Discuss.
LETS ROLL!
Stop Pelosi is a MILF
If this passes, it will be time for drastic action. I will not stand by as my life and those of my kids and their kids is handed over to the State.
Oh but don't you know, that kind of health care's strictly for the voters.
A bat without wings. Ugh.
Most likely set in stone. It's next to f_cking impossible to overturn socialist legislation once it's firmly entrenched.
To: Andrew Breitbart and staff
PLEASE post a follow up story on what comes next. Is this a done deal? Does it need further approval in the Senate? Can it be repealed? What's next, please?
How do we undo this monstrosity?
Others, please post links.
It depends. If your cat is between 2 and 4, with no pre-conditional illnesses….then, yes.
If your cat has a history of aggressive behavior that has resulted in wounds that are not usually acquired by the typical domestic house cat….then, no.
If you have ever contributed to your cat's "un-approved" behavior as a result of giving her catnip, then you have violated the jibberish on page 1,395, Article 3, Subsection 5, line 17, meaning your cat may face a death panel…regardless of whether or not the abortion is a life or death issue for said cat.
If your cat was a product of a government subsidized "Kitten Mill", then you have a 50/50 shot.
If all hope is lost, and you don't want your cat to have an abortion, you can always say that at least 1 life was created or saved as a result of not having the abortion.
If your cat still decides to go forward with the abortion, you can always claim that it was a victim of a circumstance that was much worse than you originally predicted when you got the cat.

One word will sufice….BULLSHIT !
There will be a constitutional case going to the SCOTUS the moment one of these liberal fools event attempts to implement a fine or jail time on a citizen for not bowing to the government masters.

She doesn't care. She is worth about 25 million and all she wants is the glory and a write up in the history books.
I hope to hell you're right. This is the kind of crap that could start, quite literally, a civil war against the government. As far as I'm concerned all 220 of the dems and 1 rino are TRAITORS. They have not only betrayed we the people, but their oath of office to uphold and protect the constitution. Every one of the 220 that voted for this need to see the inside of a JAIL CELL. This is the height of arrogance and insanity. I hope you're right because right now I feel just like I did over a year ago when that marxist Obama won the election, sick as hell to my stomach and extremely fearful for there being any future for us or our children.
CALL YOUR SENATOR
Here is the list
http://myfreepress.net/blog/post/Jason/2009/11/list-of-us-senators/
I know I already posted this but it is important
I have NEVER wished anyone to drop dead as much as I want Pelosi to do, and Obama, and Cao, and Reid, and that sniveling piece-of-shit on Fox, Geraldo. No, I'm NOT advocating violence, but they should all burn in hell and rot. Treasonous bastards all.
"I think the puppet on the right shares my beliefs."
"I think the puppet on the left is more to my liking."
"Hey, wait a minute, there's one guy holding up both puppets!"
"SHUT UP, YOU. GO BACK TO BED, AMERICA. YOUR GOVERNMENT IS IN CONTROL AND EVERYTHING'S FINE."
May God have mercy on all their souls. They all just doomed themselves. Clap now fools, your time is about come. The chickens are comin home to roost next fall
One small step for man, one giant leap for the insane House Dems.
Exactly! Which is why "Reform our current system of Government" is code for "Vote as many of these clowns out in 2010 as possible".
Yep.
Just remember, you’re going to get access to healthcare but their will be no ONE to provide it! Doctors will retire or quit sooner than expected. Graduate STUDENTS will NOT entertain the thought of becoming a healthcare professional. BIGGEST reasons-LOW PAY/taking the “free market” system out of the equation. High EDUCATIONAL costs and continuing educational costs REQUIRED to keep LICENSURE. Malpractice insurance costs in case you get takin to court. REQUIRED WEEKENDS&HOLIDAY hours-sounds very much like slavery to me. Even if it’s the ONLY job(s) that are available, taking the “free market system” out of the equation you will get people WHO REALLY DON’T like their job and you’re going to get substandard medical care.
Indy,
With all due respect, I voted for the idiot Shrub twice. Both times I had high hopes for him. I believe in his heart he was, and is a good man. I believe he did his best to protect and defend the Constitution, from all enemies, domestic and foreign. But lets be honest and face facts: he gutted the Constitution. He started the Department of Homeland Security; a bloated innefectual federal bureaucracy, whose only solution to anything after billions of dollars of funding, was an idiotic color coded terror chart, and in the event of a real terror attack, telling US to duct tape our windows. Then to ad insult to injury, he enacted the Patriot Act. Neither were Mensa Moments, but for a coup de grace, he passed TARP. Bush increased the defecit by Trillions, only to be surpassed by Obongo in ten months.
Bush was a RINO.
Obama is a Muslim Communist.
No. That sh_t's for the constituents, don't you know.
After all the push back from the American people, they still ignore us. Who exactly are they "representing"?
I hate to think what backroom deals she made to get the votes. Whatever deals were made, it'll cost us all. Even if the Senate sits on this health care bill that the House passed, backroom deals will still probably go through.
Jason,
Good to se you here, and active. Rally your troops.
A MESSAGE to those House Representatives who voted in favor of this horrible bill-best start looking for a "new job." 2010 will end your position as it now stands. Even if it doesn't pass in the Senate. Our Freedoms&Liberty cannot be left in your hands.
I heard that as many as 220 Reps. will be retiring over the next 3 years!
Appearance is cosmetic and can be altered.
Mental state is cognitive, and degenerative.
There are always unintended consequences to these government decisions. One which may actually work out for us is in immigration. If they continue to massively F everything up, no one will want to come here anymore, not even the mexicans.
" Bush was a RINO.
Obama is a Muslim Communist "
Very true….we need to motivate ourselves and our friends to get out to fight this takeover of the constitution by these socialist bastards.
May they starve in the gutters.
His views are horrific if you beleve in freedom….our "view" of him is horrific.
Themselves
Its not set in stone. Assuming they can actually patch together something that will pass both houses of Congress and Obama signs it, there will be someone out there who will challenge the constitutionality of it in court. Then the Supreme Court will have to address the issue. I don't know if this will happen fast enough to beat the 2013 deadline or not.
Take heart. Even though they say if you dont buy insurance you will be put in jail for 5 years… there are not enough jails for all of us who are incensed about this audacious piece of legislation.
That's disgusting.
Do we have a link to a roll call vote? I need to know how my DemonRat misrepresentative Kanjorski voted.
Paul,
Passing the House of Horrors (or whores) whichever the case may be, is the first step.
The Senate will take it up in the near future (probably next week) but we are heading into the Thanksgiving Holiday and then Christmas (excuse me, the "Winter Holiday"). This could go well into next year, before they try to merge these two Bills. A lot can happen, although they will try to railroad it through with all expediency. Who knows what major disaster, geo-political event, or Muslim Militant Suicide Bomber could happen between then and now……….
Personally, I think Henry Waxman and James Carville are identical twins.
The best about this is: The GOP doesn't matter any more!!!
Now as for the actual bill, we have to wait and see. The New Deal led to Hoover Dam as well as to a high deficit. We'll see what this means for our country.
Everyone says "the republic is now over" or "you guys are out in 2010!".
If the republic is over what difference does it make if they are out in 2010?
Roll call vote right here: http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2009/roll887.xml
Get a Grip Gary.
A leadership that wants what is best for all Americans? What would that be, lowering our standard of living so that we are on a par with Zimbabwe?
The only future America has, is the day your Moocha Militant Messianic Muslim Messiah leaves office.
If you are a member of AARP, please drop your membership — and let them know why. If you get a solicitation to join AARP, tell them you decline — and why. If you have friends, parents, acquaintances who belong to AARP, urge them to quit.
If you are a doctor who is a member of the AMA, please quite — and let them know why. If you know a doctor who is a member of the AMA, plead with him/her to quit.
Washington DC is nothing more than a 3-Ring circus, and I'm getting sick of the act.
You are an ABSOLUTE moron. This will destroy the best healh care system in the world and cripple the economy. That leadership wants to enslave you. Grow up and get some sense.
Has your cat voted for Obama? then yes
Did your cat support SEIU or ACORN? we have ways to allow certain conditions but you must not talk about it
Carville is a raving mad man….at least Waxman has some hair on his head, nothing in it though. How in the hell have people like Waxman get elected?
That the government will now do its best to put Ford out of business.
The Mexicans began leaving in droves over a year ago. That is when I knew things were getting bad. From Texas, to Montana, to Kentucky, to Ohio, to North Carolina, Mexicans were for the first time in history leaving America and going back to Mexico, because things were better at home for them. But not before they got knocked up here, had kids here that became citizens, thussly making them ALL eligible for welfare bennies. They learned well.
Next to Mother Teresa , He’s like my favorite quoter n stuff…….
LOL Sadly I think you may be right. Cant have a company making a profit now can we….it's just…..well, un-Amerikan.
Well considering I probably won't be able to afford health care even when this goes into effect (I'll still be a starving student you see)… I guess that means I'm going to jail. Well, they'll attempt to put me there at least.
You know, if enough people band together on this and refuse, there won't be a damn thing the corrupt government can do.
Hoover Dam? You want a Public Works Project to go with the AMSICK Porkulus Bill passed tonight? Just wait until Obongo dismantles the Statue of Liberty and replaces it with twin statues; of Aunt Jemimah and Buckwheat.
Jason you're spamming again
I won't have any other choice. Sign me up.
Where the hell where the Republicans stating that this bill is Unconstitutional. I applaud them for almost every GOP member but one voting against this..but all they have been doing is nitpicking the issues. The Government has no authority to mandate health care to the American people. They have no authority under Congress. This is a disgrace. Our government was not intended to operate this way. And on top of that they want to fine and/or punish people who do not buy into the Government run Health Bill.
Read Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution then read Amendment 10. It's very clear.
This is nothing more than Modern Tyranny. and anyone blindly supporting this because of party allegiance or because being a liberal and progressive is the cool thing to do are just so sadly mistaken.
This is equal to what the British were doing to us at the onset of the Revolutionary war. Nothing more than Tyranny.
We wish!
Here's something I didn't think I'd ever say: Perhaps we should take Mao's advice.
Actually I didn't think it posted, and two got posted on accident.
ROFLMAO

It’s actually the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee (oh boy, some comfort in that!) – he’s been assigned to the Federal Workforce Committee

But they are not normally coupled together………..
Wasn't that what the crazy serpentine lady said? Anita Dunn?
And this post is NOT off topic! Call you senator!
Dropped mine a long time ago. Please drop your membership let them know with your money that they did not represent us well. AARP is nothing more than another insurance company, I have no problems with insurance companies, but they should not pretend to represent the will and well being of seniors.
Thanks Dave for suggesting it.
A people can only be pushed so far.
the Repubs had their chances to get on board with health care in committee. But they have to pass the conservative purity tests to maintain their "base", so now they can play the martyr game. This legislation, coupled with energy , financial systyems reform (#1 in importance) and foreign relations, is too gigantic and affecting everyone's lives that any bib 2010 "backlash" is just public relations wishful thinking. There may be some changes, but there won't be a huge reversal.
She is a sick woman and a danger to the sovereignty of this country and all Americans within it. Since when is San Francisco liberality a mainstream American ideal? She and all of the 220 in the Democrat run House of Representatives are out of touch. I hope they get what they deserve.
You have another step. This must be challenged on the grounds of being unconstitutional. There must be a challenge in the Courts.
V
WE need to march on Washington in numbers unseen before….We need to do this while the Senate is in session. Could you imagine what they would do if we camped out and they had to stay in the building because they could not get past us.
We need to march now before this is passed. If we wait it will be too late……
Indeed
Only on Tuesdays
I agree, however there isn't a law yet to challange. I am afraid once it is signed by NO-Bama it will be too late. A court case will take years.
That should be an absolute must for people who are members of the AARP… send them a strong message
Both of them took our rights and it is time that we took them back!!!
There is a long way to go before this becomes law. And, there is plenty of time to repeal, as most of the benefits don't take effect until 2013. I'm sad to say that it was pro-life groups that allowed this bill to pass today. If they hadn't pushed so hard for their "fix"–which isn't worth the ink on the paper–at least a dozen additional democrats would have had to vote against this horrible bill. The pro-life groups–and it pains me to say this–provided just enough cover for democrats to pass the bill. No doubt these groups are already fundraising on their 'victory.'
I agree….I have been pushed far enough.
there ain't gonna be any big backlash in 2010. Dream on ding a lings
Mine both house and senate are on the right side of the issue.
I tried to contact the Rino who voted yes today, but I could not get through because I am not from his district. I think we should let them all know how the country feels, but they are not listening.
220 votes for dictatorship.
you need more than 2 million to march on Washington. You need to get out your message that this is dreadful. You also need to make sure that the ordinary person registers that they will go to prison if they do not take out healthcare.
Im in California
God help us!
The bill was supposed to be posted to the net 72 hours before final vote, right?
Pelosi Lied. Freedom Died.
These people just made our job so much easier – finally, the masks are off. Not One of the three asked would agree to support the Abortion amendment in Committee…they might as well have just stood there and said "I'm only agreeing to get the bill passed". It was actually pretty brilliant to set them up so nicely -
Isn't he a train wreck? And obviously sick – the irony here will be that they all come down with H1N1 from spending so much time crowded together…especially the people in the Rules Committee meeting
Don't worry folks. Just a matter of time until these leftist screwballs and their wacko legislation and policies get them fired! Even registered democrats will vote these idiots out of office once the pain gets severe enough!
Psst, asshole
When Breitbart started Big Government.com about two short months ago, everyone in Intelligencia, in Academia, in the MSM laughed. Said it was a joke; said Hannah, James and Breitbart wouldn't last, they tried every dirty trick in the book. They said nothing would last.
Call US ding-a-lings. Call US crazy. Call US tin foil tri-cornered hat wearing silly sunsabitches. Call US whatever you want, but we are still Americans, and we are going to take OUR country back.
Oh, by the way, did you notice that the Attorney General in Louisiana, was in New Orleans yesterday, down on Canal Street. Something about a big RAID on the ACORN headquarters. Yeah, you're right, we are all nuts…
Now that we have had some time to vent, we need to really look at this bill. I mean lookmhard at it. Who switched sides, and who cut special side deals? As of about 4 PM today, this Bill was guaranteed to fail. There were not enough votes. I think we need to look especially hard at the Pro-Life Groups. Who cut a deal, and who ran for cover. The Health Care Bill is now yesterdays news. The new newz is the real story behind the story. It will bear some digging, and might be hard to ferret out, but it is there…….
Here is CAO's ugly face. BTW he deleted his twitter account already
http://myfreepress.net/blog/post/Jason/2009/11/ho...
This health care bill is one more huge building block towards tyranny. This country was founded on principles of liberty. "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb (liberty) but then he spoke like a dragon (tyranny). Revelation13:11 The United States of America was peaceful like a lamb but it is fast becoming tyrannical like a dragon just as John the revelator had fortold. We haven't seen anything yet. Wait until the religious right revolts against the current administration's policies. We will see the United States unite the powers of church and state thus driving the final nail into the coffin of our beloved constitution. Yes the pendulum is about to swing from the far left to the far right. Don't look to the left or the right, look up Jesus is coming very soon.
So they could call them out – ask them specifically if they would support the amendment through Committee, which is where the final bill is comprised. Now they have three people on record as 'saying' "I'll agree to it now to get this bill passed, but I won't promise to support it though the final process". The three committees it has to pass through – the Chairmen of those committees, I mean – all refused to support it any further in the process.
They Nailed them – it was perfect
Okay, I have a question, and maybe it is dumb, but why didn't the Republican leadership tell 20 or so of its moderate members to tell Pelosi that they'd vote for the bill?
It was pretty obvious that Pelosi would make it so she'd have exactly the right number of dems vote against it, but if she thought she had more wiggle room than she really had….if those Republicans she thought she had suddenly voted against the bill then it'd either fail outright when it messed up her math or expose more dems to political scrutiny if they had to do an emergency about face and vote for it.
Don't these people have any sense of strategy?
When society becomes for the "All" instead of the "individual" the individual no longer matters. It becomes not only prudent, but necessary to remove the individuals who disrupt the whole. Suddenly, we become expendable and it's easy to dismiss when it's "someone else" causing trouble. But the moment you need to be treated as an individual, see how well they take care of you. Healthcare for all means worse care for the individual on average.
For examples of this, look at all the societies funded for the benefit of "all" (Soviet Russia, Nazi Germany, Communist China) and see how the individual is treated.
Cao releases statement

It won't be passed by January, so how can they fine anyone?

The US Conference of Catholic Bishops.
The best that can be said of them is they mean well. they are marxist and they are anti american. This USCCB is a socialist proaganda machine, hiding behind the skirts of the church. Individual Priests are subject to their Bishos and are severly limited from seaking out by vocation & practical human dynamics. individual Bishops, Such as the Archbishop of Denver are great. Each has to be judged individually.
If not for teh conference thsi bill would have been defeated. The conference makes me ashamed to be a Catholic. My only consoling thought is that there is a special hell for socialists who abuse teh Church in this manner.
People, there are much bigger fish to fry right now –
Does everyone realize that Geithner has the "option" of deciding whether TARP should continue for another year? It's totally his call – that's how the law was written. And the Administration has proposed a HUGE power grab by Treasury – we NEED to focus on this! Cao – the lone Republican – is on the Congressional Reform and Ethics Committee! The Administration is trying to restructure power again, and Cao is in place to help that happen!
But not the "protected" !
Scott,
Well, if that is true, then this all is a moot point and there is nothing further to discuss. When is all of this going to happen, should we make any long range plans?
I think we have been marching on Washington in numbers unseen before. These statists do not seem to care at all about what we want. These politicians don't care about the Constitution. It's like they want to commit political suicide by voter in 2010. I am itching to vote them all out! PLUS NO MORE RINOS! If the republicans want my support they had better dial it up a notch!
What makes you think that the SCOTUS will look even remotely as it does now, by the time YOU get there? And what makes you imagine that you would even get there and that they would accept your case?
we need to vote all these bastards out!
1. but if ya go to jail, you get free health care
2. if we all band together, there would be NO corrupt government, unite, fight, and shine the light, this day too shall pass
Passion? You fail to see the intrinsic nature of humanity. We are flawed creatures, and only when we have incentives do we better ourselves. Take away those incentives, and people lose their will to progress. When have the greatest leaps in technology happen? During wars of all things. World War II saw the birth of the computer, sonar, radar, and many other technologies that save more lives today than ever before.
And who pays for universal healthcare? The rich, right? So who wants to start a new business when they know that once they hit that 500,000 mark, they may as well be making 250,000 again for the amount they're going to be taxed. I don't know how old you are Mr. Gary, but I'm only 21 and already a hundred thousand in debt thanks to our great leader. I want to make money so I can take care of me and my own. What's the point if I don't get to keep the fruit of my labors?
Oh yeah, studies show that those who prefer smaller governments are not only happier, but more charitable as well. Countries with socialized health systems have the least charitable people in the world. So yeah, kill the generosity and greatness of the American people.
All but one moronic House Freshman GOPers voted against thisz POS, so what are you talking about ? Do you even understand anything about what happened tonight?
No, no backlash. Wait till they find out they'll be paying taxes for something they won't get for another 3 years in addition to the premiums they're already paying + Cadillac healthcare for the gasbags in Congress who were too good for this plan they're imposing on the rest of us. Also excluded are union members and Federal workers and there will be many more of those – 111 new Federal agencies will be added, just loaded with far left fringe kook czars and slow moving pencil pushers. And we'll be paying for their health care, too. But Bammy will brag about all the new jobs created that won't stimulate the economy because public sector jobs never do.
"Insane House Dems" is right!
Hey a-hole! In case you didn't notice a Republican Governor was elected in NJ now! That's a backlash, you idiot!
SCOTUS does NOT "have to" take any case it doesn't want to and you have to go through every single lower court first, before it can even be voted on tfo take or not at the highest level of the land.
No, we are going to have fewer doctors and nurses and more unemployed.
You're just a raving moron, who hasn't got even the slightest grasp of reality.
BTW, radokie, are you happy that you will be waiting in line 4-5 months just to see a doctor and may have to wait a year or two for an MRI? This happens when you add 30 million people to the rolls, but don't increase the doctor base. Many of them have said they'll quit or retire and it won't be profitable for students to study for the profession because the loans are too high and profits too low to offset the costs. How about all those medical devices that are going to be taxed? How about you, or your parents or grandparents being told that you won't get that medical procedure because you aren't productive enough, ie. too old, have a pre-existing condition, etc. Just because they will be insuring those with pre-existing conditions doesn't mean they will pay for the procedure. Queen Nancy gave the insurance companies an out there. You see, you won't be able to sue your insurance company. No recourse there. And pre-existers will have to wait 6 months to be covered. Trust me, it will be a lot longer because they won't be able to accommodate everyone. So they'll have to take some off in order to put others on.
Oooh, I don't know about that. I'm thinking Obama/Pelosi will just take over Mexico or Canada as "Lebensraum", and turn it into a penal colony, then send anyone who won't buy health insurance there. (Based on the colder climate, I'm thinking Canada is the more likely of the two.) Of course, I am merely being sarcastic: Really, it'll be Alaska… I'm sure Obama would see that as retribution against (former) Governor Palin for daring to run against his ticket in '08, and the state of Alaska for electing her.
Bammy also intends to legalize the illegals. He needs a new voting constituency of the easily duped with little education who will vote for democrats. Must keep the little guy down on the plantation and throw them a few crumbs every election season in order to secure their votes. Medicare Advantage will be gutted and $500B will be cut from Medicare. Seniors will die a lot earlier, but no matter to the Congress critters because they've already spent the social security money.
The IRS will have direct access to your bank account and if you can't pay up, you will be fined up to $250,000 or imprisoned for up to 5 years. How about that? This boondoggle will cost 10X what was projected and will be the start of the downfall of our economy and an end to the best medical system in the world. Does the system need reforming? Yes, but this is a terrible bill that does not address what's wrong with the system, but is disguised to pay lip service to it as it is really a payoff to the unions for their votes (after card check) and to the malpractice lawyers. As for free healthcare, there is no such thing in this bill. You will pay 12% of your salary for this free healthcare. Mandatory. Those with health insurance now will watch their premiums go up to pay for the great unwashed who are hoping to get some of Bammy's stash.
Sadly, I think he may be the only member in the House of Representatives who actually *represented* his district, given that his district is so heavily Democrat-voting.
Despite my (poor) attempt at humor, he has shamed his party, and single-handedly preventing his party from being able to take the high ground and criticize the Legislation and the House that passed it.
In my post above, the 12% of income towards healthcare purchase is for singles.
That's the thing, most doctors, especially those who have Medicare patients, are going to quit, or cut back by more than 1/2 their client roles..
Did you see the unemployment numbers Gary? Got anymore of that kool-aid? Stop drinking and quit smoking dope man. All of this started when the Dems got control of the House and Senate. Please explain how the republic is recovering?
No, there aren't .
Don't be comforted by the fact that their aren't enough jails, I'm sure prison camps can be thrown together quick enough.
Not so sure why your so freakin snippy but what ever.
We are beginning to gather people for a class action case against the heath care bill. The wording requiring to buy health care or pay a penalty and make it punishable by imprisonment is clearly unconstitutional
I WOULD LOVE FOR IT TO HIT SCOTUS!
I think you're right – and I get the feeling that abortion will be the make-or-break issue for the whole thing throughout the legislative process. Geez, wasn't Ms. Pro-Choice a ditz? That whole crew that popped up to defend "choice" – LOL, I loved it when one of them said it was a "life or death matter"….I wish someone had called her on that
You mean Lie? Heavens! haha…
You have a good mind for this sort of thing…ever thought about starting a new career in political science?
It's actually a good thing it Wasn't voted down tonight – this way, we'll get a little of that disinfectant Sunshine on our Senators as well…
I wonder if pelosi will get more plastic surgery on that ugly face with this health care bill.
Mom,
Abortion has always been the hot button issue, everywhere, all the time. It galvanizes people. I think people need to start digging in that area, and see who cut what deals. I know this for sure, that as of 4 pm today, there were not enough votes. Something happened to change it.
Gary ,
Please read the Gulag Archipelago here is a link that explains what the book is about:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Gulag_Archipelag...
This is where you're on your way to.
you really need to quit smokin'
Imagine that, another RINO cuts a deal.
I'm so tired of seeing her ugly ass face. I hate this women with a passion. I'm at a loss here, I feel defeated and discouraged.
Ya, Imagine that!
Don't worry, Paul – it was a lot of noise, but it's just the House…they can pass whatever they want, but it doesn't go anywhere without a lot more work and input. It's Not the law – they just like to make it seem that way.
Wasn't it amazing how many of the Dem Reps went on and on about how they were "part of history"? They're obsessed with going down in the books – these dopes think they've written a masterpiece. One of the best laughs of the night was when one broad referred to it as "concise" LOL – right, 2300 pages of concise =)
shutting my checking and savings down, going to cash and mo's only. stopping all fed tax deductions from my check immediately
I am happy to pay my state says tax and property taxes but nothing federal.
they cannot do a damn thing as long as I dont signa return. You sign the return is where they get you
There is NO written law that says we must pay federal income tax
Exactly, What was the famous expression in the U.S.S.R. that expressed the futility of every day life? "We pretend to work, they pretend to pay us."
At least he had the nerve to come right out and say he was bought –
Wonder how the President works on Loan Forgiveness???
That is because he is so young. I don't think he knows that Obama is going to take him out now.
I'm sure Marie Antionette smiled when she said "let them eat cake" and we all know what happened to her.
Don't pat yourself on the back just yet Queen Pelosi you have yet to witness the wrath of the American people.
Gary, you're the reason why crazy people shouldn't be allowed to vote.
He's young, but he's on the House Oversight and Govt Reform Committee for Govt Reform – he knows somebody…
Obama is young, too – kinda came out of nowhere, don'tcha think??
I agree! Here is the link you need to save. With everyone of the bastards names.
And the Dems that voted against this bill were allowed to because they faced tough opposition at home.
They need to go as well.
http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2009/roll887.xml
I was surprised no one mentioned that – considering how well Treasury's done with everything else in the past year…
Don't worry, there are lots of doctors in India that would love to come over here. Just think we won't have to worry about malpractice lawsuits because you won't be able to sue a govt employee. And we all know that the medical schools in India are the world's finest..
Chairman Louise Slaughter just said that what they did "today not just today but in the last three years could not of been done in a hundred years" why she said this is because usually it takes longer than a hundred years to destroy America with a COMMUNIST take over of the United States Government let alone to do so without reading a bill before it's passed.
I say it's PITCHFORK AND TORCHES TIME.
WHILE THE REST OF THE NATION IS STILL SLEEPING THEY'LL BE BIDDING AMERICA GOODBYE.

Yes, I too turn to Mao when faced with a difficult philosophical dilemma. And I often ask myself what would Mother Teresa do?
You're wrong; sadly.
If this thing gets passed by both Houses and signed by the president, and people don't comply, it would take many years to even get to the SCOTUS and they can deny hearing the case.
NOTHING goes directly to the SCOTUS and you haven't a leg to stand on, to make them take it.
Yes and it is very difficult to file a lawsuit from a gulag when nobody knows where you are. You'll just disappear for 10 years or so, maybe forever.
Tried to leave a message…answering machine is already full. Hope he's busy packing his bags because he's LEAVING. What a piece of human garbage.
Here is a lists of 49 Democrats seeking re-election in districts that either Cook, Rothengerg, or CQ Politics list as "not safe" that voted for the Pelosi healthcare bill, if you are looking to give money to someone, consider giving it to whoever challenges the following:
AZ-1 Kirkpatrick (D) AZ-5 Mitchell (D) AZ-8 Giffords (D) AR-1 Berry (D) AR-2 Snyder (D) CA-11 McNerney (D) CA-18 Cardoza (D) CA-47 Sanchez (D) CO-3 Salazar (D) CT-2 Courtney (D) CT-4 Himes (D) CT-5 Murphy (D) FL-8 Grayson (D) FL-22 Klein (D) IL-8 Bean (D) IL-11 Halvorson (D) IL-14 Foster (D) IN-2 Donnelly (D) IN-8 Ellsworth(D) IN-9 Hill (D) IA-2 Loebsack (D) IA-3 Boswell (D) KS-3 Moore (D) MI-7 Schauer (D) MI-9 Peters (D) MN-1 Walz (D) NV-3 Titus (D) NH-1 Shea-Porter (D) NM-1 Heinrich (D) NY-1 Bishop (D) NY-19 Hall (D) NY-23 Owens (D) NY 24 Arcuri (D) NY-25 Maffei (D) OH-1 Driehaus (D) OH-15 Kilroy (D) OH-18 Space (D) OR-4 DeFazio (D) OR-5 Schrader (D) PA-3 Dahlkemper (D) PA-10 Carney (D) PA-11 Kanjorski (D) PA-12 Murtha (D) SC-5 Spratt (D) TX-23 Rodriguez (D) VA-5 Perriello (D) VA-11 Connolly (D) WI-3 Kind (D) WI-8 Kagen (D)
What?
Get in line, I was here first….
{ironic}
I look horrid in prison orange…hope the guards don't mind…
Just substitute "cat" for "constituency"…
I would laugh, if it weren't for the fact I'm cleaning my guns right now…
Go to amazingfacts.org and click on 'Free online Bible Studies'. If you enjoy history you're in for a real treat. Keep the faith! If we want to know where we're going we've got to know where we've been.
Do you remember that Geithner said that the deficit will be lowered by private contributions? He is planning on confiscating all of the 401k accounts and rolling them into social security. All you sucker that bought gold as a hedge, get ready to have the government make it illegal to own gold again. The funny thing is that a lot of old white ladies voted for Obama. My twelve year old is really upset and feeling ripped off. Why should she bother worrying about getting good grades?
When I get crap in the mail from them, I open it up, extract the envelope, seal it and send it back to them empty…and they have to pay the postage. Heck, I might as well try to keep the PO in business with the added benefit of draining at least a tiny bit of AARP's profits.
i completely agree let me know or post it here when itll take place and ill be there thanx in advance
its more then killing the unborn its killing the living an dtaking away our freedoms
In terms of legalization, yes – but govt. funding? They were pulling out the arguments they used to legalize it (the dreaded dark alleys, coat hangers, etc.) but I was amazed they fought so hard to make it a covered service. I just figured they would let it go for now, and then change the wording in Conference when no one could do anything about it. Still do, as a matter of fact –
These fools generated enough video clips today to damn themselves for a decade -

The nomenklatura do not do not partake of the same treatment as the masses do, for their work is much more serious than the work of the masses…
Could they put the Wall back up in East Germany, so we can escape INTO there?
Martin Heinrich, I am gonna vote for whoever runs against you…even if its Don Schrader…
thanx i live in pa and we knew our clowns would vote for this ive alreadt been giving too whos running against them again ty for all the names
"We propose the creation of a Financial Services Oversight Council, chaired by Treasury and including the heads of the principal federal financial regulators as members." …"Our legislation will propose to give the Council the authority to gather information from any financial firm and the responsibility for referring emerging risks to the attention of regulators with the authority to respond."
"The Federal Reserve, in consultation with Treasury and external experts, should propose recommendations by October 1, 2009 to better align its structure and governance with its authorities and responsibilities."
They propose putting Geithner at the top of the pyramid, and the Federal Reserve, SEC, FDIC, Federal Housing Financing etc. all report to him. It's scary stuff- good thing we have Mr. Cao on the oversight board < grrr>
It's scary stuff –
http://financialstability.gov/docs/regs/FinalRepo...
Can't we at least upgrade to rifles and flame throwers? I don't mean to complain but the pitchfork just isn't my style.
That's a good thought actually. We need to get organized though. It needs to be such a large number that it basically overwhelms the city. Whether or not that would get through to those pieces of literal detritus now occupying Washington on the other hand….
"Could you imagine what they would do if we camped out and they had to stay in the building because they could not get past us. "
They have subways and tunnels to escape in. You think these Senators are fools, they know to first build the escape routes before they pass this bill
During the tea party rally this week on capitol hill, I noticed a sign that said "Here us now or hear us in 2010!!" Apparently, Congress did not hear us this week or this past summer. Now in a year we will tell them to not let the door hit them on the way out!!
What we might end up seeing is something similar that occurred with dentistry. That is, an influx of low skill foreigners because nobody here wants to get into the field. I don't know tons of doctors, but the few I do know weren't happy under the current system. With this one they're all about unanimously saying: "Now is a great time to retire." If this isn't turned around, and if I somehow decide to stay here after college, I might end up doing the overseas thing for healthcare. You know, kinda like Europeans do with us now. (Or did.)
Things look bleak, and I feel sick to my stomach right now too, but we must keep fighting! Conservatives like you and me have stayed silent for far too long now!
Time to eviscerate these Marxists from office, one by one.
I wasn't being "snippy"; I was trying to get you and everyone else here to understand that just about no case ever goes directly to the SCOTUS, which many posters have claimed would happen, on this thread. That's just not how things work.
And good luck with the class action suit! I truly hope you have more luck than people did vis-a-vis Clinton & Congresses' unconstitutional retroactive tax raise. But there is no Pelosi/ObamaCare Bill as yest. Now the Senate must pass, or not, their Bill, then it all gets mashed together and changed, and then both Houses have to vote on it. You can't sue over what was passed tonight. You do know that, don't you ?
And I'm as upset about this as you are.
Appears to be King of the Mole People (IMO only, of course).
Well, down he goes…
I didn't vote for Maffei the first time… I definitely won't the next, either. Luckily it's the one part of NY where (D) isn't always a rubber stamp…
Here is the full roll call vote.
http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2009/roll887.xml
But remember we need to choose our battles. we can beat all of them, and we don't have to. Someone was telling me earlier that we need to make sure that Pelosi loses here seat. Just to let you know McCain got something like 12% of the vote in Pelosi's district last year. If you were to poll these people they would probably prefer Mao over Reagan. So it isn't going to happen. If you want to beat Pelosi, take the gavel away from her. Give money in races where money can make a difference. Like in the 49 listed above. If we win all those districts and just those districts, Pelosi will lose the gavel (Remember these are the people who voted for the healthcare bill, so you want to give the money and vote for their challengers).
Senate has and will use the 'nuclear option' to pass this. They do not care about what will happen afterwards they are making provisions for themselves now for when some not all get kicked out of office through the special interest groups that will benefit from this HC bill along with the other bills they WILL ram through. These 'animals' have jobs and money waiting for them when this is all over and their agenda is complete.
The so-called blue dogs were let off the hook which doesn't mean that they would not have voted for it. Repeal of this legislation should be a major issue in 2010 should the senate pass it. I don't intend to vote for any candidate next year that is not on the record favoring repeal, just having voted against it is not sufficient in my opinion,
Nicely played by Red Nanny. Yet another piece of garbage legislation passed in the dead of night!
Thank you for posting this! I like it. It will definitely be included in the nasty-gram I'm writing to my &$#$$%%^ Blus Dog congressman, Sanford Bishop.
Perfect. I've got my new bumper sticker.
Oh Goody
Free people just got killed by the Death Panel Party of Marxist Lawyers.
I soooo wanted to go on 9/12, but there was a family medical situation that prevented it…. but now I'm ready!! Can someone who did go, either on 9/12 or 11/5 answer a couple of questions? How about bathroom facilities? Parking? Hotels? I don't mind at all staying a couple hours outside of town and driving in that morning… but mainly my concerns are parking and restrooms. Anyone know?
Better develop some alternatives to the GOP. Join GOOOH or one of the others, get them together and kick some A.. If the RNC comes around hard that's fine, but don't count on it. They have become the "I'm not them" party, with hacks like McC and Newt and "Hey-looka-that-Mormon-what's-he-doin'-in-our-party" Huckaby leading the parade.
Even worse than Hillary's face in '02.
Our Founding Fathers are spinning in their graves.
Welcome to the USSA United Socialist States of America!
The Monster has left the house. Liberty is dieing, and the Constitution is dead.
Please don't tell our Soldiers overseas though. They're fighting and dieing to defend the Constitution. Somehow they were told the enemies to it were in some desert somewhere instead of in D.C. It's OK though.
Jefferson said that when a government designs to rule by absolute despotism, that the citizens under such government have a "right, it is their duty, to throw off such government."
So, let's get some principled people in government who actually respect the Constitution and individual rights. I'm thinking…. some 912Candidates?

It's not over untill the Fat Lady sings. True Americans will fight this and seeing your ranting–Your outnumbered
A majority of the supposedly fiscally conservative so called Blue Dogs voted for the Bill 28-24, at the end they were probably drawing straws to see who gets to take one for the team by voting for it. If there was ever a bench mark for fiscal conservatism, voting agianst this bill would be it. Here is the roll:
Blue Dog "Yeas" (Pelosi's Puppies): Arcuri, Mike (NY-24) Baca, Joe (CA-43), (btw his name means idiot in Japanese) Berry, Marion (AR-01) Bishop, Sanford (GA-02) Boswell, Leonard (IA-03) Cardoza, Dennis (CA-18) Carney, Christopher (PA-10) Cooper, Jim (TN-05) Costa, Jim (CA-20) Cuellar, Henry (TX-28) Dahlkemper, Kathy (PA-03) Donnelly, Joe (IN-02) Ellsworth, Brad (IN-08) Giffords, Gabrielle (AZ-08) Harman, Jane (CA-36) Hill, Baron (IN-09) Michaud, Mike (ME-02) Mitchell, Harry (AZ-05) Moore, Dennis (KS-03) Murphy, Patrick (PA-08) Pomeroy, Earl (ND) Salazar, John (CO-03) Sanchez, Loretta (CA-47) Schiff, Adam (CA-29) Scott, David (GA-13) Space, Zack (OH-18) Thompson, Mike (CA-01) Wilson, Charles (OH-06)
Blue Dog Nays: Altmire, Jason (PA-04) Barrow, John (GA-12) Boren, Dan (OK-02) Boyd, Allen (FL-02) Bright, Bobby (AL-02) Chandler, Ben (KY-06) Childers, Travis (MS-01) Davis, Lincoln (TN-04) Gordon, Bart (TN-06) Griffith, Parker (AL-05) Herseth Sandlin, Stephanie (SD) Holden, Tim (PA-17) Kratovil, Jr., Frank (MD-01) McIntyre, Mike (NC-07) Marshall, Jim (GA-08) Matheson, Jim (UT-02) Melancon, Charlie (LA-03) Minnick, Walt (ID-01) Nye, Glenn (VA-02) Peterson, Collin (MN-07) Ross, Mike (AR-04) Shuler, Heath (NC-11) Tanner, John (TN-08) Taylor, Gene (MS-04)
We need to make every effort to send him the way of Scozzofava.
You're right. The Stupak amendment was nothing more than 'plausible deniablility' for their Dem counterparts. Not one Republican should have allowed that hollow schill of an amendment to pass.
Remember the WH has not really seltted anything yet concerning the abortion issue and the illigals offering promises too each side as passage. This still has a long way to go. Plus this does not take effect untill 2013, tax takes effect right away, and that will not help the econemy-pushing HC since all will be broke from the tax and forcing our represenitives too review. People do not like High Taxes and when it is seen as a reality-who knows what could happen then.
Until last year's election, I had never donated to a political candidate. I broke out the checkbook to support McCain/Palin and other moderate and right-of-center candidates.
I'm getting an early start on next year's elections. I won't be able to contribute statistically-significant amounts to the candidates I support, but if there are enough like me who are scared 5h1tl355 by this rolling disaster mounted by the fellow travelers who have infected our body politic, we'll raise so much that we'll swamp them out of office on a tsunami of green tea and greenbacks.
One of the problems most of us who respect the Constitution and the other laws of the land have is that we tend to be respectful of the rights of others and generally don't reduce ourselves to the gutter where MoveOn.org, ACORN, SEIU, and so many other flaming liberal idealogues dwell. OK – we gave civility a shot and we got hammered. Time to get nasty, folks. It's bare knuckles next year and heaven help any pol who thinks he/she has a right to make personal decisions for me. VA and NJ were just a taste of what we plan to dish out next November.
DAMN ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO VOTED FOR OBUMMER AND ALL THE DEMOCRAT CLOWNS IN CONGRESS!
The fact of the matter is that we wouldn't be as close as we are to this SOCIALISTIC GARBAGE if the numbers were different. Especially in the Congress.
SOMEBODY IMPEACH THAT DUMB BITCH PELOSI!
I HOPE SHE DROPS DEAD!
Your head is full of air….When has Big Gov't produced a profit?–guess what profit is what grows the econemy. How much do you want too bet the increase in taxes that we would experince for HC will lay in the same SS so called trust–by the way that doesn't exsist. Gov't plays monompoly with our tax dollar- it is bound for disaster not utopia. All will be scratching thier bellies waiting for a Gov't check, no reason to produce if you cannot get ahead and all must be equally poor not rich. The dollar is falling – already – buy seeds, guns and bullets as all try to grab up thier so called entittlement.
I would settle with making her minority leader. I like her as the surgically enhanced face of the Democratic Party, it reminds everyone when they vote for Democrat in the US house, they are really voting for her.
I can’t wait until next year when we can wipe that Fixodent secured smile off her face. I wonder if she will feel like it was a win for her when she wakes up on the Wednesday after Election Day next November as the next minority leader.
To quote Queen Amidala (Star Wars) "So this is how democracy dies, with thunderous applause". Sad day for all of America. Let the rebellion begin!!!!!
I am so disgusted. We have gone to tea parties, made donations, written or called those who won't take our emails. They still passed the bill. With 55% of Americans (Rasmussen) saying they think we are better off with a single party running the country (30%) or they are not sure (25%), I am afraid we are doomed. There are not enough of us who care!
Good! Now lets get ready to force these Marxist creeps to get a real job in 2010. We need to get rid of the MSM, K-Street, all liberals right and left. The ass kicking is coming, if you’re a politician don’t make long term plans.
We must fightbut my problem is who do I send my money to help? Obama used untraceable debt cards to get most of his money…
I mean do I send it to the GOP? No… Do I send it to the 912project? Who's in charge? Do I send it to andrew? Do I send it to SaraPAC ?
I really need an answer because this is going to take a lot of cash to get these people kicked out !
On the bright side, last Spring nobody thought it would take until November to get a bill passed in the House. Nothing has passed the senate, that was always where the final battle was going to be. Keep up the pressure in the Senate. The majority of Americans are agianst the bill, the Senate rules are much more favorale to us than the House rules. Reid says he probably wont get a vote until next year. If we can delay it a little longer the clock and the calender will be on our side, it is next to impossible to get things done durring election season. And after the election season hopefully their will be a few more votes on our side.
Again how do we fight – Do i we send money to Mark Levins legal compnay ? Who will take this challange ?
I'm ready to send some cash…. I've never given to a campaign (first was doug hoffman) and I'm 46. I'm ready to send now !
They'll be working in the new Health Care Administration..
The following is a list of 49 Democrats who voted for the bill in districts deemed to be "not safe" in next year's election by Rothenberg, Cook, and/or CQ Politics. I would find out who is going to challenge them in next november's election and make sure they get money:
AZ-1 Kirkpatrick (D) AZ-5 Mitchell (D) AZ-8 Giffords (D) AR-1 Berry (D) AR-2 Snyder (D) CA-11 McNerney (D) CA-18 Cardoza (D) CA-47 Sanchez (D) CO-3 Salazar (D) CT-2 Courtney (D) CT-4 Himes (D) CT-5 Murphy (D) FL-8 Grayson (D) FL-22 Klein (D) IL-8 Bean (D) IL-11 Halvorson (D) IL-14 Foster (D) IN-2 Donnelly (D) IN-8 Ellsworth(D) IN-9 Hill (D) IA-2 Loebsack (D) IA-3 Boswell (D) KS-3 Moore (D) MI-7 Schauer (D) MI-9 Peters (D) MN-1 Walz (D) NV-3 Titus (D) NH-1 Shea-Porter (D) NM-1 Heinrich (D) NY-1 Bishop (D) NY-19 Hall (D) NY-23 Owens (D) NY 24 Arcuri (D) NY-25 Maffei (D) OH-1 Driehaus (D) OH-15 Kilroy (D) OH-18 Space (D) OR-4 DeFazio (D) OR-5 Schrader (D) PA-3 Dahlkemper (D) PA-10 Carney (D) PA-11 Kanjorski (D) PA-12 Murtha (D) SC-5 Spratt (D) TX-23 Rodriguez (D) VA-5 Perriello (D) VA-11 Connolly (D) WI-3 Kind (D) WI-8 Kagen (D)
there are a lot of 9-12 groups in and around DC – we do it the old fashin way – we camp ath thier homes – we use multiple cars / cans turcks and mark them with 9-12 stickers.. these cars drive in and around the city taking people where they need to go . we get moblie homes – a lot of retirees can come up and they drive around when peole need to go they get on adn then off…
This is truly grassroots America!!! We need to band together!!!!!
Feel free to call his number and tell him he is now a K STREET WHORE !!!!! I've got my signs ready to go – the word WHORE is ok to use now so I will use it !!!!!
Yes, I do know that, but if Senate passes this bill as written with that language still in the bill then it is unconstitutional and has never happened before in our history
The only thing close has been Selective Service Registration.
If you are a member of the courts then you must state it now. If your not then you do not know any more than the rest of us what would happen with a case
There has been thousands of US citizens that have made it to SCOTUS with cases, if I am correct, thats what thier there for, THE PEOPLE
K STREET WHORE !!!!!!
I'm in Maryland and I had to watch Steny Hoyer fawn and coo over Nancy and her Health care Push last night on C-SPAM. I ate a half a bottle of Rolaids trying to keep my supper down. How can Maryland keep bringing this Socialist back each election? Just go look at who has donated to his coffers. Why can't people get past that Democrat/Republican tag and start looking at what is good for America? Who will serve all the people not the special interest. One term and they have lots of special interest money. What's wrong with running for the good of the country and letting the chips fall where they may? If the next Hoyer election comes up and there is no choice, I will write in my dog. Marylanders stand up and "Dump this Chump".
We the People must stop paying taxes, its the only answer
Everyone needs to support their local reps. I started donating to Hoffman in NY23 although I'm no longer a NYer. My mission is to go after Shea-Porter. She's outta here.
Be Careful; I'm sure Homeland Security is watching us……..
I'm sure he got scared from a threatening phone call or even in person. Obviously not conservative. And yes, I live in Katrina land. GNOTP member.
Thats true, however my Congressman back home in the US is a Republican who wont have any trouble getting re-elected, he has been there since 94, he plenty of money, no significant challengers, and a mostly Republican district. If yor congressman is not in any danger of losing, there is nothing wrong with giving money where it can make a difference.
opensecrets.org and ntu.org
And Shea-Porter is a good one to target. I'm from Ohio especially, so I am looking at the ones in Driehaus, Kilroy, amd Space. But I will be looking to give in other races as well.
Let me retype that, it is getting late here.
And Shea-Porter is a good one to target. I'm from Ohio , so I am looking at the ones in my state, especially Driehaus, Kilroy, amd Space. But I will be looking to give in other races as well.
"Today, I obtained a commitment from President Obama that he and I will work together to address the critical health care issues of Louisiana including the FMAP crisis and community disaster loan forgiveness, as well as issues related to Charity and Methodist Hospitals. And, I call on my constituents to support me as I work with him on these issues."
So Cao when Hilter says he will only use the gas chambers on the Jews I'm sure you would have been in line ….. Freaking WHORE !!!! DumbShit!!!!
Some good thoughts –

Interesting comparison:
Twenty years ago, at the Brandenberg Gate, the Wall came down. The Iron Curtain, between East and West Germany. Twenty years later, to the day, Nancy Pelosi and her vermin passed Health Care, taking US one step closer itno Socialism………..
The demoncrats declared war on the american people by passing this crap! The list of those voting for it is at RESIST NET .com! Lets vote them ALL out in 2010 and 2012! are they SOCIALISTS/MARXIST/OR COMMUNISTS?????
The phrase "You Lie" fits the democratic party to a tee. They are incapable of EVER being straight with the american people. If you have ZERO MORALS OR SCRUPPLES as the democratic party displays it is quite easy
to LIE THROUGH YOUR TEETH. My stomach turns everytime I look at these POS. They day that these people
no longer infest and creep around destroying our government from within will be one of the greatest events in american history.
And for you republicans in office that stand by and just give face time acting like you give a damn, This republican will be heading independant for the remainder of my life.
Here ya go – Print it – study it … Off to church to ask God why ???

Stop complaining and start a revolution.
This vote was very demoralizing to me to say the least. What's up with the lone Republican who voted for it?
Yes and thanks to another RINO it's a bipartisan bill, what we would do without all those RINO's that just constantly help us when the chips are down?
I think the GOP should have all voted "Present" on the Anti-Abortion amemendment, they all knew it's only purpose was to give cover to the Democrats that had to explain the voting yes to their constiuents.
If that amendment had failed it would have left zero coverage for the political theatre Dem's..
It was Joseph Cao who beat the corrupt William Jefferson last year. He probably isn't going to get re-elected, he is from a mostly African American district in New Orleans, he obtained commitment from President Obama that he would work together to address the health care issues of Louisiana, including the FMAP crisis and community disaster loan forgiveness, as well as issues related to Charity and Methodist Hospitals. “I call on all my constituents to support me as I work with him on these issues.”
There is really no pressure you can put on him, he probably would have voted against it if it ment that the bill would fail, but it looks like he is making a very futile attempt to get re-elected in a districts where 75% plus voted for Obama. There really isnt any pressure we put on him.
the "cover" was the stupak amendment prior to the vote for the bill. and yes, i think i have a pretty firm grasp on what happened last night, but thanks for the concern.
I just created a new image that BigGovernment is free to use as their new logo along with a blog posting about the Obamalosicare vote last night: http://thelcabroadside.wordpress.com/2009/11/08/o...
Here's one better . . . Tape the envelope to a brick and drop it in the mail. They'll have to pay postage on the weight of the brick!
Yeah, I work for "All" of my family, I guess I don't matter anymore. In fact, we have alimony and child support laws that force humans to send money to other human beings. Why? It's our responsibility, that's why. In a community where we are allowed to burn through natural resources, we have the obligation to ensure basic health for our citizens.
My family's welfare improves MINE. The same goes for my community and my country. I want more Linus Paulings and Einsteins, brilliant scientists using their PASSION to produce astounding innovations. More will do so when their basic needs are guaranteed to be met.
And after these policies work and improve the sustainability of our country, people like you 50 years from now will be taking these innovations for granted and whining about some nonsense, instead of being grateful that you are standing on the shoulders of brilliant thinkers.
You forgot Lipinski I happen to live in his POS district. I am contacting the Illinois Republican Party and see if there can be another challenger besides Lipinksi and the other guy who wants to open borders with Mexico. If not I will not vote for neither. However I have a feeling Illinois maybe become a red state. Alot of people hate Quinn right now.
Cowboy – I was at the Brandenburg Gate a day after the official reunification ceremonies in 1990. Do you know what I found? The place was swarming with entrepreneur shopkeepers who had set up stalls to sell, among other things, former Soviet military items looted from their factories and military installations. The metaphor was profound. Give self-sufficient, hard-working people half a chance and they'll prosper. Had Nan, Steny, Barney, Chris, Chuck, Harry, or any of the other economically- and historically-ignorant saboteurs now making our laws tried to preach their nostrums there, they would have been stoned and ridden down Unter den Linden on a rail.
This was just one battle in the war over gov't control of healthcare. It was a battle that lasted a lot longer than anyone expected last Spring, nobody thought it would take until November to get a bill passed in the house.
Now comes the big battle in the Senate. We have some things going for us in the Senate that we did not have in the house. They need to get ALL the Dems to support the bill in the Senate if they want to get it through. And just a few days ago Harry Reid said that he didn't think a vote was possible until next year. If we can keep it up just a little longer than that, we can beat it. Once the election season starts next year, it will be impossible for the Senate to pass anything significant. After the elections hopefully we will have enough reinforcements to defeat it for good (or at least for another decade).
Looks good!
CQ, Cook, and Rothenberg all rank Lipinski as fairly safe. In the last three presidential elections his district went for Obama 64%, Kerry 58%, and Gore 57%. The last time that district elected a Republican congressman was 1973. So from my outsider POV I think he might be safe, but maybe you know something I don't.
I a shamed to be represented by these pieces of dirt who so easily sold their souls for and betrayed the public's trust! Wake Up America! Does this do it you? Are you now convinced that the America you know is gone? They ignored the true will of the people and chose instead to line their pockets with special interest stimulas funds. My gun is loaded and i'm not participating in pelsoi's communist medically care which nothing more than slavery! Pelosi is mentally ill and needs to be put out of our misery! Any one of these *^*&&^$%^Washington hacks that comes up for a vote in didtrict or one next door I will do all i can to run them out of office. This unconstitutional and can not be let stand. Impeach Pelsoi and Obama now! wake Up America!
It's time for a Tea Party.
The place was swarming with entrepreneur shopkeepers who had set up stalls to sell, among other things, former Soviet military items looted from their factories and military installations. = Capitalism
Here are some Senators in states where Obama isn't so popular who are up for re-election next year that you may want to put some pressure on.
Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas (probably your best bet for a no vote out of these)
Michael Bennet of Colorado (appointed to fill Ken Salazar's seat)
Evan Bayh of Indiana (a "moderate" Democrat from a state that usualy goes red, but went for Obama last year)
Harry Reid of Nevada (he isn't going to come out agianst the bill, ever. but if the polls get any worse for him or his opponents get funding maybe he will use his power to kill behind the scenes)
Byron Dorgan of North Dakota (What is with the people of ND who keep electing this guy?)
Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania (Probably feeling more pressure from the left these days with a primary challenge, good to make him feel pressure from all sides.)
I just hope the Democrats that created this bill, remember if Their Chosen One is not re-elected in 2012 and someone like Sarah Palin (I would vote for her over most) is the next president they have handed over the entire US economy to their enemy. They have taken over GM, Chrysler, control of banks and now the entire healthcare industry. I would hope that fear of the “Conservatives” wakes them up to realize that unless they suspend the elections next, when they are the minority they will be treated very much like the treated the Republicans. Our system works best when both parties work together. Bills like this one should never have hit the floor much less be passed.
Stupak is a DEM from Mich. It was a democrat introduced amendment. The Republicans chose to support it. It was cover for the pro-life dems to give a yes vote to the final bill.
That's waht I say … I guess it's time to get ulgy .. this is hwat America comes too then so be it … this is hwo the left fights so I guess it time to show our ulgy side…..
$9.12 @ a time … spread the love .. then I think we all go to Walgreens and get the untraceable debt cards so we can give more than allowed like they did for Obama. We can also show how all the little people are giving $25.00 @ a time like Obama preached (again untraceable debt cards)
Since nothing was ever donea bout it then I assume again it ok to cheat the system …
Fight fire with fire !!!!
I agree. Instead of clipping coupons this Sunday AM I am creating a tracking of list of politicans to earmark for possible future financial contributions and possibly volunteer time (I put this much effort in my investments and this is more important). I have voted at all but one election for the last 20+ years but I've never gone beyond that really. No more. And I'm not alone in this so even if it is just a few dollars, a blog post or two as a citizian journalist (thank you internet), petitions and letter writing campaigns it'll add up. From what I'm seeing the communtiy is organizing itself this time around.
Found the 912 chapter for Louisiana … Join up ….. Follow… let's let CAO know he is done…..
http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-9-12-Project-Lo...
This is what I mean .. we ahve people that know how to do art (Think NEA), we have Mom's that stay @ home but are lawyers, marketing, organizers, we have people out of work but know how to web build …. there are a lot more of us thant them … SEIU has 1.2 million …. COME ON we can do better than that !!!!
Thanks RINO's you did it again, you made it into a bi-partisan bill
Not sure the correct tactic was to vote on the anti-abortion amendment to the bill, better to vote present, let it go down in flames and remove the cover of political theatre that the so called blue-dogs need on that, didnt seem very smart to me.
If the same people that voted yea on the anti-abortion ammendment then turned around and voted yea on the health care bill that needs to be set in the correct context of nothing but politics as usual.
The GOP has to start getting a lot smarted on this, we will see
Your only allowed to be sick if your under 55, otherwise just jump on an ice flow and head out to sea.
It's now the Institution of Goverment Sponsored Theft
Even the Mafia isnt this brazen, these people wont stop until they have killed the golden goose, but then thats their plan isnt it.
The pendulum always swings back the other way. Take NJ for example. NJ finally has a new Governor this time a Republican. It took years and years and ultimately severe pain for the pendulum to swing back.
With our two party system this is how things work. From one side to the other.
Check out http://www.goooh.com. We've got to get all these clowns out of there.
Stop by your friendly neighborhood Hallmark store and pick up a thank you card for Joseph CAO of LA.
Mine on the front will be the nice Thank You … so he and his staff will go … awwweeeee
Then on the inside it will read
Way to go Joe!
Thanks for showing us who the real K Street WHORE's are !!!
NO RHINOS
912 Tennessee Chapter !
I want him to know people from around the USA are watching …..Come on who's with me ?
We wouldn't be in this situation if we had gotten rid of the corruption and the career politicians long ago. If you aren't familiar with Get Out of Our House, check them out – I think they are on the right track, and we need to band together. http://www.GOOOH.com
I don't know when I've been so depressed. I don't know what was worse, watching Nance crack a smile and gloat or the fact that there was some Chicago-style arm twisting to make Obummer look good…Can we overturn this bill if it gets passed when Obummer loses his second run?
http://www.GOOOH.com Check it out. They have some good ideas, and are seeking input. They plan to allow every district in the US to select a candidate from amongst themselves, hold them accountable, seek term limits in Congress, avoid outside interests and corrupt funding, and more. We need to band together.

You know only 17% of doctors are part of the AMA, right? They don't exactly represent the majority. But yes, definitely spurn these endorsers.
AARP stands to make a killing when all the folks who lose their Medicare Advantage plans have to find a new supplemental insurance. They hope they'll all buy the AARP Medicare Supplemental plan. Bastards.
Check out http://www.GOOOH.com They aren't asking for money now, but campaign money will be needed eventually. Granted, that doesn't do anything about this healthcare bill right NOW, but I think we have to address the reasons we're in this situation in the first place.
Hide and watch, buddy.
When we were sitting on the capital lawn on 9/12, I said to the folks sitting next to me that I wanted everyone to just decide to stay and camp out until they all came back to work after the weekend, and make them try to walk past and through us to get in the building. I kept looking at that gorgeous building thinking what a huge privilege we have bestowed on the men and women we allow to work there, and how they have abused us.
I thought the crowd on 9/12 would be more than could be ignored, and the comment was made that every time they attempt to ignore us, we come back with friends. I know that everyone there on 9/12 represented dozens of people at home who couldn't attend. The time is nearing (if not already here) for a crowd the size of which TRULY cannot be ignored.
Hide and watch, buddy. Hide and watch.
Because all of the career politicians are part of the problem. It's all just political maneuvering to them, and what do they really care, since they get their full pay for life and will never again have to lower themselves back down into the masses. Your question is a valid one, but the answer is clear. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article1...
I guarantee you that Ciro Rodriguez in TX-23 won't be safe. That's my district, and he will FEEL OUR WRATH. He won very narrowly in the first place, and has been BOMBARDED with contact from constituents who opposed this nonsense. I told him very nicely that I would be putting every possible effort into making people aware of his betrayal, and supporting his opponent. He can start counting the days…
Or maybe even the people themselves. If you state your views, and the people in your district agree with them, would you be willing to represent them?
http://www.GOOOH.com
Yeah I mean lie – lie to expose the truth.
I have thought about joining politics, but I'm not capable of whoring myself out enough for campaign contributions and both parties would probably call me an extremist.
Check out http://www.GOOOH.com. They aren't asking for money just yet, but when they do, it will benefit a national campaign for 435 candidates, one from each district in the country, selected by the people of that district, and agreeing to be legally bound to represent the views that each stated up front. Let's get the power back to the people, and the problems we face with lobbyists, career politicians, and untold levels of corruption might become a little less severe. We've got to work together.
http://www.GOOOH.com
They've all got to go. These politicians have had their chance.
Good article, I kind of wonder if some Republican politicians want this kind of crap to pass just so they have a rallying point for their base to help them get re-elected.
http://www.GOOOH.com
If we work together, we can turn this country around. There are still people out there who care about the principles this country was founded on.
Don’t blame the Catholics on this one! They are being “gagged” on how much they really can say. Because of the seperation of church&state issues. Oh, how this current administration would LOVE to go after ALL church’s for more $$$$$$$$! They can’t quite seem to get enough! Also, they(all church’s) are under scrutiny regarding hate crimes legislation. ANOTE to our current adminstration-it’s a church and we are already taxpayers! And, why shouldn’t we be able to speak-remember the 1st Amendment! Oh that’s right-you have a boatload of socialists/communists in MY WHITEHOUSE!
Well, no one in their right mind really buys the argument that this was bipartisan. One paid-off Congressman doesn't equal support from all sides. (Not that those facts will keep the Dims from trying to make the claim, but we all know better.)
Understood, but the point was that RINO's can't be trusted.
I'm not seeing a whole lot of difference from one side to the next. Each seems to want to outspend the last, and blame all their problems on them, as well. But now we're all starting to see the truth, and so the pendulum might still swing, but the whole darned clock is about to come crashing down.

At this point, I'm thinking that 99% of politicians can't be trusted.
Feb '08, I renewed AARP for 3 years – mainly to get magazine and Bulletin. A couple of months later, I realized I was wrong — contacted them by email, explained the error of my ways, and requested cancellation and refund… Believe it or not, they replied, and MAILED ME A COMPLETE REFUND!!! Try it, you'll like it!!!
Does Obama even go to church ? I don't thin I've seen any media of hiim coming out of church unless it was a funeral.
That thought has crossed my mind as well. They are pretty much impotent at this point since they are heavily outnumbered, so all they have to do is say they fought the good fight, let the other side pass things that will piss people off, and the pendulum will swing back their way. I think that describes politics in this country for the past 50 years, which is why I'm pushing now for some serious change. I like the looks of GOOOH.

I do about the same, except, I SEND BACK WHAT THEY SENT ME, in their postage-paid envelope — then they will have to pay even more postage, I think, 'cause they probably pay by weight ??? I also, add a note inside to "remove me from your mailing list'…so it is a 'legal' reason for sending it back…
The DNC Union is manipulating the House voting system to over power the will of the people. It is way passed time to send the DNC Non-Representative home for good. They no longer represent the people that voted them into office. They are given instructions from the DNC Union heads and they march to those orders.
Don't worry about healthcare, go out and buy a first-aid kit.
Worry about gun-care. Keep them clean, locked, and loaded.
There is a difference. One team versus the other! It's a game of course.
Don't count on that clock falling apart any time soon.

He who has the gold makes the rules!
A crusty old man walks into the local church and says to the secretary, "I would like to join this damn church."
The astonished woman replies, "I beg your pardon, sir. I must have misunderstood you. What did you say?"
"Listen up, damn it. I said I want to join this damn church!"
"I'm very sorry sir, but that kind of language is not tolerated in this church."
The secretary leaves her desk and goes into the pastor's study to inform him of her situation. The pastor agrees that the secretary does not have to listen to that foul language.
They both return to her office and the pastor asks the old geezer, "Sir, what seems to be the problem here?"
"There is no damn problem," the man says. "I just won $200 Million bucks in the damn lottery and I want to join this damn church to get rid of some of this damn money. "
"I see," said th e pastor. "And is this ***** giving you a hard time?"
Don't worry about Healthcare, go out and buy a first-aid kit.

"I want more Linus Paulings and Einsteins, brilliant scientists using their PASSION to produce astounding innovations."
That's what FREE people in FREE societies with FREE markets do. Government intervention through confiscatory taxation and regulation only serves to limit such innovation. Taking innovations for granted? The innovations I take for granted, that most everyone takes for granted, like the automobile, laptop computers and a myriad of consumer electronics, and even the Liberties protected by our founding documents did not come from government. They came from free people, pursuing their passions, talents and dreams as they saw fit. If you wish to live in a country run by central planners and an overbearing government, I suggest you avail yourself of another freedom, the freedom to leave. I'm sure there are a number of countries in the EU where you would feel right at home.

WASHINGTON The glow from a health care triumph faded quickly for President Barack Obama on Sunday as Democrats realized the bill they fought so hard to pass in the House has nowhere to go in the Senate.
Thank God…
Well, I can easily think of 220 people who should be looking for jobs next November…
One Republican voted for Pelosicare: GOP Rep. Anh (Joseph) Cao of Louisiana.
Yes, he’s the one who took over corruptocrat Democrat William Jefferson’s seat. I had reservations about him on election night because of his soft-on-immigration views. But I gave him the benefit of the doubt. If he could stand strong on limited government and fiscal conservatism, it would be worth it.
Well, since he was elected, Cao has backed the S-CHIP expansion, the $108 billion IMF bailout, and the omni-waste spending bill. And he voted to rebuke GOP Rep. Joe Wilson for calling out President Obama on his health care lies.
That is a steep price to pay for Rep. William Jefferson’s removal.
Can’t the GOP do better?
For what it is worth, here is the cheap price the Democrats paid for Cao’s vote:
Louisiana Congressman Anh “Joseph” Cao on Sunday morning released a statement after he voted as the only Republican in favor of the Democratic health care reform bill.
The health care reform bill, dubbed the “Affordable Health Care for America Act” (H.R. 3962), passed the U.S. House of Representatives in a 220 – 215 vote.
“Tonight, I voted to keep taxpayer dollars from funding abortion and to deliver access to affordable health care to the people of Louisiana,” Cao said in a statement released by his office. “I read the versions of the House [health reform] bill. I listened to the countless stories of Orleans and Jefferson Parish citizens whose health care costs are exploding – if they are able to obtain health care at all. Louisianans needs real options for primary care, for mental health care, and for expanded health care for seniors and children.”
Cao wrote he obtained commitment from President Obama that he would work together to address the health care issues of Louisiana, including the FMAP crisis and community disaster loan forgiveness, as well as issues related to Charity and Methodist Hospitals. “I call on all my constituents to support me as I work with him on these issues.”

Ya think? I am sure you are right.
You notice she was no where to be seen until after the vote was over? Guess she didn't want her frowning reptilian botox reinforced puss on the tube if she didn't get her way.
We, the American people, SHALL be the victors in this battle between right and wrong. The days of elitist, botox laden, champagne swilling, caviar eating scumbags who currently serve in Washington are hereby put on official notice:
You are all being terminated with prejudice for gross malfeasance of your office, effective November 2, 2010.
We the people will become a "Revolution of One" and will SHALL do everything within our power legally and peacefully to make your lives a living hell until then. You have screwed around with us one too many times. We are not going to take this any more. So start packing you bags, 'cuz you're outta here!
Well, now that the vote is over, and everyone on both sides of the aisle grandstanded and prostituted themselves for their fifteen minutes of fame in front of the cameras, now is the time to test them. Give them a complete test, on their interpretation of what they read in the healthcare bill, and let them see how well they score………
We must not as American's go silently into tyranny. There is a limit to the power grab. Greed is justly loathed but arrogance to the point that laws and rights are set aside will not endur on the American people. We cannot continue to sit silent and idle hoping our elected officials will do the correct thing. This is not a health care issue but a power grab so maligant and evil it should shake all Americans to their core. Let me repeat, we must not as American' s go silently into tyranny….
<DIV>ain't that the truth – the job of legislating would be interesting, but the interview process would surely bring out the shrew in me.Maybe you're suited for Chief of Staff?

Nobody knows what would happen to such a case, as nothing like this has ever been tried to be brought to court before.
Clinton's retroactive tax increase was unconstitutional and if a case had been filed against it, I don't know of it.
Selective Service is nothing at all like this mess.
It has taken cases, brought by people, many years to reach the SCOTUS and most will never get that high/be accepted by SCOTUS.
That it was and instigated by the damned GOP idiots who wanted the Bill to pass, but claimed otherwise, or who are so stupid, that they couldn't see what that would do.
All righty then-I have a suggestion.
What if we all boycotted the pelosi pork project?
Seriously 52% of US citizens were against the damned thing.
What if we all just refuse to pay for it?
BOYCOTT THE HEALTHCARE BILL!!!!
The catastrophic health care act in 1988 was repealed in 1989, so there's hope even if it does pass.
Yeah, this is the real stupidity of the Democrats that no one is talking about.
The Senate wont touch this with a 10 foot poll. Why? Look at Harry Reid and his notions of waiting until 2010 for a vote. Because he knows he'd going to lose his seat if this thing gets voted on and passed. And Dems just aint willing to take that step.
So… in 2010, we have a country pissed at Dems, including Dems pissed at Dems for not passing healthcare.
This is just politicians through and through. They overreach all the time, and always pay the price eventually.
I'll say it again: "In a community where we are allowed to burn through natural resources, we have the obligation to ensure basic health for our citizens."
You are not free to burn through natural resources to which I have just as much of a right as you. No human being, no "free" human being for that matter, has ever produced a natural resource. The fact that we let people own and profit off of natural resources WITHOUT ensuring basic service and stability for the American family is downright CRIMINAL. We won't ensure these things while at the same time ensuring taxes to fund the military-industrial complex. That's not just criminal, it's DIABOLICAL.
Plain and simple.
Go research into the top tax rates during Pauling and Einstein's time. Freedom… that's why these consultants get paid. Where Karl Rove earns his keep. Throwing the words freedom and liberty around enough to indoctrinate people like you.

Health care takeover roll call vote — and what GOP Rep. Joseph Cao got from Obama; Plus: Organizing for America hustles more money
By Michelle Malkin • November 8, 2009 01:10 AM
The final 220-215 roll call vote on passage of the House Dems’ government health care takeover bill is here.
And here is the 240-194 roll call vote on the Stupak amendment to extend the ban on federal abortion subsidies to Obamacare/Pelosicare.
Thanks to Doug Powers for filling in while I spoke at the Foundation for Life event in Sugar Land, Texas tonight. What an incredible juxtaposition it was — meeting and talking with the true agents of Hope and Change, the true guardians of innocent life, and the true advocates for women and children outside the Beltway as the Democrat majority inside the Beltway rammed the massive, job-killing, high-taxing, bureaucracy-multiplying, generational debt-piling health care monstrosity down America’s throat.
One Republican voted for Pelosicare: GOP Rep. Anh (Joseph) Cao of Louisiana.

He obtained a “commitment from President Obama.”
You know what that’s worth: Nothing.

This email from President Obama hustling up money for Organizing for America arrived in the email box at 1:45am Eastern. He sure can work fast when he wants to:
I don't agree that the GOP gave the pro-life Dems the cover they needed to vote for this bill. As others over at RedState.com have made abundantly clear, this bill was going to pass regardless. Ultimately, the blue-dogs feared Pelosi more than their constituents, which, given history, is understandable reasoning. Constituents rarely turn out incumbents, and Pelosi is in their face every day. Do the math. But I do think the GOP could have made this more difficult to swallow by voting "Present" on the Stupak amendment. It would have delayed the vote, but not the end result. And regarding Representative Cao in LA, I kinda need to give him a pass. 1) he did not, nor would he have cast the deciding vote. 2) he is a moderate Republican in the most liberal, Democratic district in all of LA., and has the biggest target on his back you can imagine. He replaced the disgraced and convicted felon Rep. Jefferson, he of the "frozen $90,000" fame. In any environment, he's likely to lose election, but in this case he was truly representing the will of his constituents — the welfare queens and Democratic plantation citizen-victims of New Orleans. 3) He was here in VA stumping for Bob McDonnell, the most conservative governor VA has had since George Allen. So yeah, I'm going to cut him some slack.
Bottom line, all these Dem's walked the plank for no reason. The bill is DOA in the Senate. And the Senate is likely not to take up any bill this year, and anything coming up next year in an election year is going to be irreconcilable to what the House passed. Net net — no bill. No healthcare reform.
Democrats lose…in every imaginable way!
Anytime that Pelosi is smiling that means the country has just been screwed! Keep this woman frowning for the love of the country.
That's what I thought last Tuesday. Then we re-elected two of the three liberal incumbents who helped drive the city into the toilet. Voter turnout was just under 30%.
Sorry. I got no faith.
couldnt believe they passed it…but it was by a small margin….listen …i dont think the senate will give it an easy ride…they better get ready for a fight…
the higher taxes and debt the american economy will face will shock everyone…obama will go down to wreck the country….
but dems are right….let them have their way
Thank you for the info, Elvis. I wondered if there might be a shuttle service, and that's what it sounds like. I'm ready to go!!!
There's sooooo much BOTOX in that woman's face….her frown muscles have been disabled!
