Will New Jersey Be Called Soon for GOP?
by PubliusAs everyone knows, this is supposed to be a nail-biter going late into the night. There are expectations of a long and arduous recount fight. But, what if everyone is preparing for a party that doesn’t happen? Close, reliable sources on the ground tell Big Government that solidly Democrat precincts are coming in much lower than expected. Christie’s margins in independent areas are much higher than expected. Daggett is a non-factor. The votes just may not be there for Corzine. Camden and Newark are still largely out, but the Christie gap over Corzine may be growing larger than the outstanding vote. We aren’t calling the race yet…but we’re starting to think about what that would look like.

It should be, but FOX says that it's "too close to call", which it isn't. They called Virginia hours ago.
They're all waiting for those stuffed ballot boxes to come in.
FOX is being cautious, as is everyone else. Remember the ACORN factor. Never underestimate your adversary. Just because ACORN hasn't been front and center, does not mean that they are not scurrying about, carrying out their nefarious dirty deeds in vermin like fashion.

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) – Republican Chris Christie has defeated Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine in New Jersey.
With 71 percent of precincts reporting Tuesday night, Christie had 50 percent of the vote to Corzine's 44 percent
